Irene secretly followed Breanne one day after school, after discovering her hospital, she went back to the hospital in disguise as her sister
“Hi, I’m Bianca, Breanne’s little sister, Is anything wrong with my sister? ” she asked and the doctor showed her the result of the test
“She was diagnosed with cancer ” the doctor said and her eyes w¡dened
“Cancer? What type of cancer? ”
“Both lung cancer and skin cancer ”
“What? ”
“She will be having an operation in 24 hours however, we are not sure if she will survive” the doctor said and Irene sighed
The doctor looked at her suspiciously
“I thought you are her sister, why is this new to you? ”
“Ugh? She told me to ask you personally ” Irene lied and walked out of the hospital

“She died because of the cancer not because she was depressed about Mj’s rejection, Who in her right mind will commit suicide because of a rejection” Irene explained to the reporters and Mj scoffed
“What about Mj’s Heart disease? Did it started because he smokes and drink too much? ” A reporter asked and Irene Shook her head
“It’s true that Mj smokes and drink but he only do that when he is confused, his heart disease didn’t start because of that ” she said and looked at the camera
“Mj was born with heart disease ” she said and everyone started to murmur
“He was born with it? No way ” the reporters murmured among themselves and Mj scoffed again
“is she crazy ?who told her to say that publicly?” he said and Irene looked at him
“One more thing ” she said
“I was the girl Mj kssed, he didn’t kss me intentionally, he kssed me because he was drunk that day ” she said and walked away

They both walked down the street with silence
It was a very awkward moment
They never felt that way before
“What’s wrong with me? Why am I suddenly feeling too shy to say anything” Irene thought to herself
“Why is my heart beating so fast? ” Mj thought to himself and placed his hand on his chest
“Well…about what happened today, tha…than…..than…..” he stammered and Irene started to laugh
“Don’t tell me you are trying to say thank you” she said and Mj became embarrassed
“If you are thankful, do me a favor ” she said and Mj looked at her
“Become friends with Leo again ” she said and he looked away
“No ”
“Then I will go and tell the reporters that everything i said was a lie and that you paid me to say it ” she threatened and Mj cleared his throat
“Alright, where is Leo? ” he asked and Irene smiled
“His at his house ” she said and Mj turned to go but she grabbed his hand
“Did you really forgot what you did that night you were drunk? ” she asked and Mj stared at the sky
“I do not remember, please stop asking me?” he thought to himself and Irene grabbed the collar of his clothes and kssed him on the l-ips as his eyes w¡dened
“This was what you did” she said after removing her l-ips and Mj gulped
“Alright! Alright! I remember doing that ” he said but he found himself blushing
“I have to go ” he said and walked away embarrassingly
“He is cute ” Irene said and smiled her smile vanished when she recalled that Leo’s father is behind Mj’s mother death
“He will get hurt when he finds out ” she said and sighed

Mj walked to Leo’s house and walked straight into his room
He saw Leo sitting on the floor in a corner
It was obvious he was sad
“What are you doing here? ” he asked and Mj walked up to him and sat beside him
“It’s strange, you never loved touching me, why are you sitting so close to me ” Leo said and Mj brought out a picture of the both of them when they were little
“Do you remember when we took this picture? ” he asked and Leo looked at it
“it was a month after we became friends, you were turning ten that day ” Leo said and smiled
“You were really a brat ” he added and Mj grinned
“You were a brat then too, you used to eat all my sandwich with yours ” Mj said and they both burst out laughing
Leo’s father who was peeking at the door looked at them and sighed
“I really wish I hadn’t killed your mother Mj, then you and Leo could have been happy together like this ” he thought to himself and looked at Leo
“I’m sorry son ” he said
Leo stopped laughing and looked at Mj
“But why? ” he asked and Mj arched his brow
“What do you mean why?”
“Why are you suddenly so nice to me ” he said and Mj sighed
“Because I want to be your friend again ” he said and Leo stared at the ground
“I want to be your friend too but…. ”
“Don’t worry, I have forgiven you, I will forget about everything you did ” he said and Leo started to cry
“I’m sorry Mj ” he said and Mj hugged him
“It’s okay ” he said and pat his back
“Mj, you won’t even be able to forgive me once you know the truth ” Leo thought to himself and sob
Leo’s father walked out of the house, about to leave when his phone rang
“Hello? ” he said as he picked up
“Why is that child still alive? ” that was him
The one who ordered Leo’s father to kill Mj’s mother
“Sir, our agreement was to kill his mother ” Leo’s father said and the man scoffed
“Are you whining? That child is not someone who should be alive “the man said
“I cannot do it, I don’t want to commit a grave sin to my son ” Leo’s father said
“I heard he is your son’s best friend, it won’t be too bad to kill the both of them ” the man said
“Sir!! ” Leo’s father yelled out angrily
” I want that child dead, if you fail, you know what I am capable of doing ”
“Are you trying to threaten me just like you did five years ago?
“If you fail to bring that child’s dead body to me, I will kill him myself, I will kill your only son and I will make you die a painful too ” the man said
“But why? ” Leo’s father said in a trembling voice
“The decision is yours ” the man said and hanged up

The next day, Irene, Mj and Leo walked into the class and everyone started to clap
“I can’t believe you are back Irene ” Zoey said as she ran to Irene
“Leo and Mj are standing together, could it be they have reconciled? ” Sage whispered to Sophia
“Do you think that’s possible? Those two are sworn enemies ” Sophia whispered back
Mj looked at Leo and pat him on the shoulder
” I will be back, buddy ” he said and walked out of the class
The class opened their mouth with shock
“Did he just say buddy? “Jane, the vice president said
” I can’t believe it, I really can’t believe it” Sophia said shaking her head
Zoey looked at Irene and sighed
“We really thought you guys are not coming back ” she said and Irene held her hand
“We are back now ”
“Thanks for saving Mj, everyone has been talking about you for saving him ” Zoey said and looked around
“But where is Ella? Mj’s cousin, I thought you guys live together ”
“that’s right, she left very early saying she has something to do ” Irene replied
“Its hærd to believe Mj and Leo reconciled, it’s just unbelievable ” Zoey gushed and Irene smiled

“We could have just talked at home, Why did you want us to talk here? ” Mj said and Ella moved closer to him
“Your house is no longer a save place, I figured out how the news about you having heart disease and about you kssing Irene got out ” she said and Mj arched his brow
“How? ”
“There’s an hidden camera at every single room In your house ” she said and Mj scoffed
“Hidden camera? Who is playing such immature game? ” he asked and Ella smirked
“Who else do you think it would be? ” she said and folded her arms

“It was Riele, your first love whom you cherished so much, and she told me she has her eye on Irene . I know you like Irene that’s why I’m telling you this, please protect Irene ” Ella said and walked away
Mj couldn’t believe what he just heard
“Riele? Why would she do such a thing? ” he thought to himself and walked to the school garden

“We should have a welcoming party for the four of you including Ella ” Jane said to Irene and she smiled
“It’s okay ” Irene said and Zoey stood up
“No, it’s not, everyone go to the cafeteria and eat whatever you want, Mj will pay for everything ” Zoey yelled and the students ran to the cafeteria
“Did you just say Mj will pay? ” Irene asked her and she nod
“Of course he should, he is the richest actor in this country after all” she said and sage shook her head
“you are so dead when Mj finds out ” Sage said and sashayed away
“What’s with that drama queen? ” Zoey murmured and looked at Irene and Leo who were still seating
“What are you guys still doing seated? Hurry up let’s go to the cafeteria” she said and drag the both of them

“Why isn’t he here? ” she asked

“How did you make them reconcile? ” Ella asked
“Ugh? It wasn’t me ” Irene replied
“I heard our test is coming in two days, we have to study, we missed class ” Ella said and Irene nod

Leo walked to the garden and saw Mj seated there
“What are you doing here? ” he asked and sat beside him
“It was Riele ” he said and Leo looked at him

“The one who revealed My heart disease to everyone was Riele ”
“I thought it was only Irene who knew about it ”
“Riele planted a camera in my room ” he said and Leo scoffed
“She hasn’t a bit ” he said and Mj sighed
“Everything is over now, why do you look so down ” Leo asked him
“Because I didn’t believe she would do something Like that ” he said and Leo threw his hand across his shoulder
“Hey Buddy, Everyone is having a welcoming party, why don’t we join them? ” Leo said and they both walked back to the cafeteria
“Mj is here ” a student announced and everyone looked at him
“Zoey told us to eat everything we want, she said the money is on you” Jane said and Zoey nod
“Are you crazy? Do you expect me to pay for everything you are gonna….. ” Leo pinched him before he could complete his statement
“be nice for once, will you? ” he whispered to him
“Well, what i meant was that you should eat everything you want, I’m going to pay for everything, I mean everything ” he said and faked a smile
After school, the four were on their way back home when Some group of girls from another school ran to Mj
“I told you it’s Mj ” one of them said and gushed
“Mj, we are your fans, I can’t believe I’m seeing you in real life ” another girl said as they all brought out a pen and book
“Could you give us your autograph? ” one of them asked and touched His clothes
“Who said you can touch me, Irene what are you doing? You are my manager, you should be preventing them from………. ” Irene stepped on his toe before he Could complete his statement
“Ouch! ”
“They are your fans, treat them well ” she whispered to him and he collected their notes Sharply
” I will gladly sign this autograph ” he said and faked a smile

Mj walked to Riele’s house and rang the door bell
She opened the door and smiled when she noticed it was Mj
“I’m glad you came to pay me a visit, I miss you ” She said and wanted to hug Mj but he moved back
“Why did you do it? ” he asked and she sighed
“What do you mean? ”
“You planted a camera in my room and revealed it to everyone that I have heart disease ” he said and Riele stared at the ground
“Why did you kept it from everyone? That you were born with the disease? ”
“Because I hate getting attentions ” he replied and Riele grinned
“You are a celebrity mj, there is no way you won’t get people’s attention ”
“What’s your point? ”
“People are always over stressing you because you are an actor ”
“Don’t tell me you did that so that I will stop acting? ” he asked and Riele nod
“Are you crazy? Without acting, I won’t be able to feed myself ” he said and Riele scoffed
“I should have known, you are someone who loves his job than his girlfriend ” she said and Mj turned to leave but she hugged him from the back
“Don’t leave me ” she said and Mj jerked her hands away
“Don’t touch me! ” he yelled at her
“Are you going to start avoiding me now? Why? Because of who? Is it because of that girl called Irene? ” she said and Mj looked at her
“How did you know Irene? ”
“Don’t tell me it’s because of her.. I knew it, you are always looking at her, you are always”
“You are right, I’m in love with that girl ” he said and grinned
