Amelia’s pov ✏️
I walked down with Annelise, the wh0le house was bursting with activities, maids were walking to and fro, from the kitchen to the ball room, to the living room.. doing one thing or the other.. I and Annelise offered to help in the kitchen, but the maids and Nani wouldn’t let us, we walked back to the living room and started watching TV.. the door opened and Tasha walked in with Teddy, MJ and Noel, the g-y makeup artist from Mom’s fashion house.. they were all holding boxes with Ellie’s special written on it..
“Oh my God, Amelia.. it’s so good to see you” she said dropping the boxes beside the couch..
“Same here darling” I said and pecked her cheek..
“Teddy, MJ.. Noel.. girlfriend I’ve missed you so much” I said as I hugged him briefly..
“Wow.. girl, you look so beautiful, what are you doing here by the way?” He asked looking at Annelise, who was smiling at us..
“Well.. I live here now” I replied.. their faces lighted
“Are you Jane Anderson? The reason for this party?” Tasha asked looking at me..
“Yep” I replied..
“Oh my gosh.. Amelia that’s so wonderful, I even thought it was her” Tasha said pointing at Annelise..
“Nah.. she’s my cousin.. Annelise meet my friends, Tasha, Noel, Teddy and MJ.. Noel is a make up artist, while the others are designers they work with mom, guys meet my cousin Annelise” I said
“Hello”
“Hi”
“Hello” they greeted and she replied back..
“So uhm why are you guys here?” I asked
“Oh, madam.. asked me to bring these clothes..it’s for the ball I guess” she said pointing to the boxes..
“Okay.. ”
“Tasha..” mom called walking downstairs with Nana
“Good evening ma’am” they all chorused..
“Evening, when did you guys get here?” Mom asked sitting beside me..
“Just now Ma’am” Tasha replied..
“Where are the clothes?” Nana asked looking around..
“They are here Ma’am” Tasha replied pointing at the boxes..
“Great.. Anne, Jane.. go freshen up, the party will start soon”.. Nana said
“Okay Nana” we chorused and walked out of the living room..

Alexa’s pov ✏️
“Wow.. so Jane is alive, I don’t believe it” Hilda said smiling
“Well you better do, cause the invitation card is right in front of you” I said
“Yeah..but Why are you so excited?” She asked
“Cause Jane is alive.. do you know what that means?” I asked excitedly
“Uhh.. Eleanor is finally gonna be Happy?” She asked..
“Seriously?.. no, I mean yes, Eleanor will be so happy . But that’s not what I meant” I said
“Then what?”she asked
“Sky will have no choice but to call off his engagement to Amelia” I said with a grin .
“Why?” She asked again..
“Because he was betrothed to Jane when she was little, so technically his engagement with Amelia is invalid.. he has to break up with one of them.. and you know he can’t possibly break up with Jane..so Amelia will be the loser, oh I can’t wait to see her face when Sky finally breaks up with her”
“Mmh.. I just hope so” she muttered
“Come on .., we have a party to attend” I said and walked into the bathroom
*7:30pm*
General pov
Guests have started arriving, few of the press men were allowed into the ball room, while the others stood outside taking pictures of the guests that were arriving..
Courtney was already at her duty post standing by the red carpet, interviewing the guests.. the Jordans had arrived before everyone else, and were sitted in the ballroom..
“So how do I look?” She asked the camera man videoing her..
“You look great” he said and started setting up his camera, after which he gave her the signal to start..
“Good evening New York.. it’s your girl Courtney Adams reporting live from the Anderson’s estate, where the party for the once lost, but found 😂princess is taking place.. as you can see a lot of people are arriving, models, designers, political heads and many others, who are really eager to see princess Amelia Jane Anderson.. Join me as I interview few of the guests, stay tuned and don’t touch that TV.. she said with a wink..
She interviewed all the guests who came, including Joanna stone, Scarlett brown, Jennis Meyer, Alexa Gliss, Hilda king, Adrian Paulson, the first lady, her daughter and many others…

*Ball room*.
Nana was busy introducing Anne to her Friend’s son Barry.. Anne tried several times to run from Nana, but her grip on Anne’s wrist was firm.. and to make matters worse, mildred, Nicole and the guys were laughing at her..
Eleanor, Beatrice and Liana were all chatting with their friends..
While Greg, Micheal and Nicholas were busy talking about business and so on.
“Guys 13 o clock.. she’s smiling so sheepishly” Nicole said
They understood what she meant and all turned to look at the direction..
“I bet her face is gonna burn, when she finds out that Amelia is her boss’s daughter..” Joanna said smiling..
“I can’t wait to see the look on her face” Scarlett said..
“Please.. whatever happens, don’t leave me alone” sky muttered
“Why?..are you scared she’s gonna sed-ce you again?” Simon asked
“Uhh durhh..
Yes” he replied
“I don’t understand why you can’t resist Alexa.. I mean I Know she’s beautiful, hot and curvy” Syd started..
“But Mia has everything she has, Even more Sky.. resisting Alex should be easy for you” he added.
“I don’t know Syd.. she just have this way of trapping me and as much I really hate to admit.. I can’t help but fall right into her arms” sky stated..
“Mmh.. okay, we got your back bro” Simon said and punched him playfully..
Syd glanced at Mildred who was staring into space.. she looks so Disturbed and unhappy..
“Babe.. are you okay?” He asked snapping her from her thoughts..
“Ye..yes, I’m okay” she said forcing a smile..
The party started properly and Nana came out to give her speech, she was standing in front of the long staircase which had large doors at the top and two guards standing in front of it.
She talked and talked for hours.. and finally it was Time for Lia to Walk out..
“So with a standing ovation, let’s all welcome, my angel.. Ellie’s pride, my precious heir.. Princess Amelia Jane Anderson..” they all stood up and started clapping.. the guards opened the doors and she walked out with a straight face.. the crowd went wild, some were shouting, others were smiling and all had surprised faces.. except Jonas of course… cameras started clicking.. every photographer getting a clear shot of the Princess..
With her hands on her pink ball gown..she walked down the stairs smiling.. Alexa was already red..it was the last person she expected to see..
Sky moved to the edge of the stairs and held out his hand, Lia took it and he k-ssed her lightly.. the crowds cheered and Lia went to hug her parents.. Nana took her round the party, introducing her to her friends and business partners..
She received lots of gifts and compliments.
Hours later she was allowed to Walk around with Sky.. she got to where Alex was sitted with Hilda and she smiled mockingly..
“Hey Alex.. thanks for coming to my party” she said smiling.. Alexa frowned and ignored her..
Lia smiled and walked away with sky holding her wa-ist..
The party went on smoothly and soon the guests started leaving…

A week later*
Amelia’s pov✏️
Everything has been going great for us.. Annelise and her mom, went back to Paris two days after the party.. same with Nana and Grandpa.. dad travelled for a business trip and mom has been really busy at the fashion house..since December was fast approaching..
I walked out of my closet, wearing a black joggers and sweatshirt.. mildred was on my bed staring into space.. she has been like this since she returned from her parents.. and whenever I asked what was wrong.. she would always say nothing and change the topic.. I carried Kylie and started brushing her furs..
“Milly.. what’s wrong?” I asked
“Nothing Lia” she replied smiling lightly..
“Mildred I thought we agreed not to keep secrets.. I really don’t like how you’ve been acting lately.. please tell me.. I’m your sister” I stated quietly..
“It’s nothing really, how was your shoot with Liam?” She asked smiling
“And she changed the topic again.. anyways, it was great.. he’s really cute though” I replied
“Really?” She asked grinning
“Yeah.. but my baby is cuter..😍” I replied and she chuckled..
“Yeah.. so when are you choosing your wedding gown?” She asked
“Well.. mom said she’ll be the one to make it, but she asked me to choose from this collection” I said picking the book from my side table..
I gave it to her and she started flipping through the pages.. there was a light knock on the door and Cleo walked in after I told her to come in..
She was holding a tray, which contained Mildred’s lunch..she dropped it on the table and walked out..
“Lia please pass me the tray” Mildred said sitting up on the bed
“Okay..” I carried the tray and gave it to her.. she opened it and the smell hit my nose, causing bile to form in my throat.. I swallowed and closed my nose..
“Lia.. why are you holding your nose?” She asked..
“I.. feel like throwing…” I couldn’t complete the sentence, I ran into the bathroom and poured out all the contents into the water closet..
“Lia are you okay?” Mildred asked walking into the bathroom.. I raised my face to talk, but Instantly turned back to the w.c, I threw up again.. Mildred raised my hair up and poured water on my face.. I stood up and washed my mouth with my toothbrush..
We walked out of the bathroom and I sat on the couch, resting my head on the armchair, Mildred stared intently at me and I was starting to get uncomfortable..
“What?” I asked
“When did it start?” She asked
“What?” I asked pretending not to know what she was talking about..
“Lia.. you know what I’m talking about” she stated sitting beside me..
I sighed audibly, I need to tell her the truth.. I can’t hide it anymore..
“On Monday..” I mumbled..
“On Monday?.. seriously?. Why didn’t you tell me?” She asked worriedly..
“I didn’t want to bother you, I easily get tired lately and I feel dizzy most times.. I thought it would stop, I’m sorry” I replied soberly..
She sighed and stared at me for seconds, then walked out of the room without a word..
Where’s she going?.. I just hope she doesn’t tell Mom.. I thought to myself.
She came back minutes later with a small pack.. with ‘test strip’ written on it..
“Come with me” she said and walked into the bathroom, and I followed quietly..
*Minutes later*
“I thought I told you to always use pills Lia, why didn’t you use them?” Mildred asked with mixed feelings..
“I’m… sorry.. okay..” I stuttered ..
I can believe I’m pregnant.. there’s another life growing in,side me.. how do I tell Skyler.. I don’t know if he’s ready for this.. I am not ready myself, but I’ll definitely keep this baby.. if he doesn’t want it, then I’ll have the baby on my own.. I smiled as I touched my stomach..
“You’re smiling?” Mildred asked with wide eyes..
“Should I cry?” I asked looking at her.
“I don’t know Lia.. well it’s all good you’re getting married soon, and it won’t affect your career, cause you obviously have everything you want.. we have to tell your mom, but that’s after you tell Skyler” she stated..
“I’m scared Milly” I said sadly
“Why?” She asked
“I don’t know if Skyler is ready to be a father.. it’s a huge responsibility Milly.. I don’t know how he would react” I said looking at her..
“Sky loves you Lia, and I’m sure he’ll be Happy when you give him the news..all you have to do is make it a surprise” she said smiling
“And how am I going to do that?” I asked
“You’ll go over to his office, tell him to go on a date with you for the rest of today, and have fun together, after that.. you can both go to his suite and have hot s*x, you know the way he did.. when he put the baby in” she said grinning and I playfully hit her arm..
“After that, you can drop the bomb” she added grinning..
 
“Okay..?, But first I need to sleep” I said resting on my bed.. I felt her hand, on my wrist as she pulled me up..
“You are going now” she said and dragged me into the closet..

Skyler’s pov🖊️
I walked out of the board room with Cindy holding the files.. I gave her few instructions and walked into the elevator.. it opened seconds later and I headed to my office.. I walked in and closed the door behind me, I almost jumped out of my skin when I saw her standing behind the door..
“Hey pumpkin.. missed me?” She asked drawing closer to me..
“How..who..how did you get in here?” I stuttered..
“Oh.. it was easy, since your little Blondie wasn’t in her post to stop me, I figured you were probably in a meeting” she said resting her hands on my chest..
“Alex.. you need to leave” I breathed out, as she started to unbotten my shirt,
“Aww.. but I just came, I missed you do much baby, let’s just have fun.. I swear I won’t tell..” she said placing k-sses on my bare chest.. she wrapped her hands on my neck and pressed her l-ips on mine.. I reciprocated, then i remembered Lia’s k-sses and slowly unlocked..
“I’m sorry I can’t do this.. you have to leave” I said as I opened the door for her to leave..
She chuckled and catwalked to my seat, I couldn’t help but notice the short brown coat she wore, it was like a robe, with nothing but a belt holding it together.. she sat down with her legs on my desk, revealing her upper thighs, I quickly removed my gaze and fixed it on her face..
“What do you want Alex.. I thought I made it clear to you that it was over” I said already frustrated..
“Okay let’s make a deal” she said twirling her black hair with her fingers..
“What kind of deal?” I hurled..
“Please sit” she said pointing to the other chair facing her.. I sighed and pushed the door gently..
I sat down and she smiled sed-ctively..
“So.. are you just going to smile throughout?” I asked already irritated.
“Sorry, as I was saying.. uhm, if you want me to leave you forever .. you have to do just one thing” she said sternly.
“And What’s that?” I asked
“You’ll have to sleep with me for the last time.. ”
“No way” I said cutting her off.
“Mmh, then I won’t rest until I tear your relationsh¡p apart, I don’t care if it’s gonna cost my life even.. I’ll so much hurt Lia, that she’ll be begging for death to take her.. you Know me Sky I don’t give empty threats,..” she said and stood up to Leave..
Oh my God.. this is bad, really bad.. Alex always does what she says, she can be really dangerous sometimes.. I can’t watch her hurt Lia, I have to do her bidding.. oh my love, please forgive me for what I’m about to do..
“Wait..” I said.. she stopped without looking back
“I’ll… do.. it, meet me at the penthouse by.. 5pm” I stuttered
“No.. I want it here and now” she said turning to face me..
“What!.. are you crazy? what if someone comes in?” I asked looking at her.
“They can’t come in without your permission, Blondie will have to call you first” she said.. she was right, nobody would be allowed to come in unless Cindy calls me first..
I looked at her and rolled my eyes..
“But I don’t have protection here” I argued .
She chuckled and opened her bag
“I knew you would make that excuse” she said and threw the pack of c.d at me..
“Let’s get started” she said and removed the belt from the coat, it opened and I was shocked to see her clad in nothing.. she giggled childishly and slipped her hands from the coat..

“Boss.. she’s going out now, but with just two cars following her” I said..
“Follow them.. when you get the chance, shoot her.. and make sure she doesn’t survive it..” he said from the other end of the phone
“Okay boss” I said
“And make sure you do a clean job.. just like always.. okay?” He said
“Okay boss” I replied and he hung up.
I have been keeping an eye on Jane since after the party, but Everytime she goes out, she leaves with about 20 guards.. and it makes it really hærd for me to do my job..
But today isn’t her lucky day. I must kill her, one way or the other..
I waited for few seconds before following them with my SUV van..

Amelia’s pov✏️
I walked into the company with five guards walking behind me.. I had told them to stay at home, but they wouldn’t listen.. cause dad gave them a strict order.. after begging for like forever.. they decided that eight of them would go with me..
The wh0le place was busy.. they bowed as I walked past them..
We walked into the elevator and seconds later Walked out into Cindy’s office..
She smiled when she saw me
“Lia.. wow it’s so nice to see you” she said as she hugged me..
“Me too.. so how are you?” I asked
“I’m great as you can see” she replied.
“Great.. so is Sky in?” I asked..
“Yes.. should I inform him that you are here?” She asked
“Oh no.. I want to surprise him” I replied and she smiled..
“Be back in a sec” I said and walked into the elevator Alone.. leaving the guards with Cindy..
The elevator opened up and I walked towards the only door in the hall(Sky’s office)..
The door was slightly opened, and I could hear voices.. mo-ning to be precise.. I stood there contemplating if I should walk in or not.. after about 2 minutes.. I placed my hand on the knob and pushed the door..
To say that I was shocked is an understatement.. it felt like a knife cut through my heart..
In front of me was my fiance banging not just any woman but his ex fling..
I guess they didn’t notice me cause they didn’t stop..
“Sky…” I muttered audible for the both of them to hear, he snapped his head up and withdrew when he saw me..
“I.. Lia.. it.. it’s.. I …I can explain” he stuttered.. I didn’t want to hear any of it, I turned sharply and ran into the elevator.. I heard him call me..
The elevator opened and I ran out of the office, the guards rushed after me.. thank goodness I wasn’t wearing heels.. my eyes was already blinded by tears.. I knew Sky would definitely follow me, I ran out of the company..and made for the garage, where the other guards were waiting by the car..
I was about to run in, when I heard Skyler’s voice.. I changed my mind and decided to run to the other side of the road.. where a taxi was waiting.. the crowd was already much.. they were taking pictures and scre-ming..
“Lia.. wait please” sky yelled coming closer to me..
Without thinking I ran into the road..
I heard scre-ms followed by Skyler’s voice.. then, a stinging pain..I felt my body move up and then I hit the ground with a thud, then slowly the darkness surrounded me..

Skyler’s pov🖊️
Oh my God!.. how long has she been standing there.. I thought to myself as I made for the door.. Alex held my hand..and I glared at her.. she swallowed and finally let me go..
I ran out of the company shouting Lia’s name.. she was running towards the garage.. but changed direction heading for the road.. it was a little difficult for her to pass, cause people started taking pictures and scre-ming.. I called her again.. and she ran into the road without watching..
Then the worst happened.. an SUV van.. hit her with full speed..
“Lia!!!” I shouted and the crowd started scre-ming.. I watched as she landed on the other side of the road.. like a possessed being I ran into the road, I didn’t care if I was hit.. all I cared about was Lia.. I got to where she was laying lifeless on the floor in a pool of blood..
“No.. no.. no..no.. Lia.. Lia, baby please say something” I said cupping her in my arms.. blood was gushing out from her head, and my white shirt was already soaked with blood..
“Lia.. I’m sorry.. Please just open your eyes say something.. you can hit me, slap me.. I deserve it.. just open your eyes please. Lia!!. You can’t leave me okay!” I yelled..
She mumbled something and her lashes moved..
“Oh my God.. Lia stay with me please.. someone please call the ambulance!!” I yelled.
A large crowd had gathered around us.. some taking pictures and others crying.. while the guards surrounded me and Lia on the floor..
The ambulance finally arrived and they placed her on the strecher.. I sat by her side.. begging her to stay with me.. and blaming myself for everything..

Mildred’s pov 🖋️
Aunt Ellie came back minutes after Lia left, she was so restless.. she asked after Lia and I told her.. that Lia went to visit Sky.. a maid brought a glass of juice for her and as she took it, the glass slipped from her hands and broke into pieces, luckily she wasn’t hurt..
We decided to watch a movie and I flipped through the channels and stopped at a news station..
The headlines caught my attention..
“Amelia Jane Anderson involved in a fatal accident”
I increased the volume so we could hear what the reporter was saying..
Aunt Eleanor sat up with her full attention on the TV..
“Good afternoon viewers, my name is Stacey Ann reporting live from new York.. just about few minutes ago, Amelia Jane Anderson was seen running out of N.J, with tears.. witnesses say Skyler Jordan ran out few seconds after.. she made for the garage but suddenly headed for the road and without thinking rushed into an incoming SUV van.. the eye witnesses say it was a very terrible collision and have doubts of her survival..” I didn’t wait for her to finish.. I switched off the TV.. and Ellie was already crying..
“Lia.. oh my God.. my baby.. I need to see my baby .. I need to see Jane!” She said as tears rushed out of her eyes.. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
“Aunt .. Please calm down. I’ll call Sky, she’s going to be fine” I said blinking back the tears..😢😢
The maids tried their best to calm her, especially madam Clara.. who constantly reminded her of her condition.😭😭😭..
I called Sky.. but he wasn’t answering.. after several attempts he finally picked.. he couldn’t even talk properly..😢 I asked him to send me the address of the hospital.. which he did..
