All I did was to create another different scene in their mind.
Before using my vampire power to disappear and reappear in my car.
I sent a quick message to all my bodyguards before telling the driver to move.
Am still wondering who she is because clearing her memories of what happened a while ago wasn’t easy.
It gave me so much trouble before I can finally clear that memories.
I couldn’t even read her easily not was I able to peep into her memories.
This is the first time something like this will happen to me.
My mind search through my memories to check if I have encounter something like this. But found non.
It seems there something interesting about this equal of mine, I thought looking out of the window.
I was secretly wishing I could see her again. But no, I can’t because she would probably be working by now.
I kept thinking about her as I stare out of my window.
Looking at those happy and care free human. They all thought creatures like us don’t exist.
They don’t believe in our kind which makes them powerless.
Because the more you know about being like us exist, the saver you are.
I said saver because if you know about us,you will surely know our do’s and don’ts’.
But they all thought it’s a cook up stories which are used to entertain them.
My ringing phone makes me look away from some group of kids who where playing.
📱”Hello Miss nagging.” I said into my phone as smile find itself to my face.
📲”Hello weird senior brother.” My junior sister said making me shake my head.
📱”Am not weird.” I said hissing at the little giggling coming out of her mouth.
📲”Guess what!” She suddenly said making me suspicious.
Because this is the first time she would be this happy and won’t nag too much.
📱”You are at my house and there’s is no lady who is my wife waiting for me to arrive. ”
I said because that’s what she usually come down to my to check.
📲”Come on, am not calling so as to nag you.” She said sounding not interested.
📱” Then what else surprise dose miss nagging have if not to nag about something. “I asked.
📲” Just guess. “She said groaning.
📱” You know I can’t guess and not good at guessing. “I said groaning also.
📲” Please guess. “She begged so desperate.
📱”Fine!” I said surrendering and think about what she want me to say.
📱” You lost one of your teeth while eating your favorite candy.” I said smiling.
📲” Gross! I totally forget my senior brother brain is too old to guess.”
She said laughing which make me smile the more. All I want for her is happiness.
📱”If you don’t tell m now, don’t bother telling me again.” I said already lossing my patience.
📲” Fine. I just found my equal not long.” She squeal making me remember she clock 100 some months ago.
📱” Wow congratulations my baby is growing. Who is it?”
I asked getting excited to know the person.
Because I don’t want any bad ass who will break her heart beat my sister.
📲”Don’t get too excited, you will meet him whenever you come down to the kingdom. “.
She said making me frown and sigh in disappointment.
📱”When you know you won’t tell me who the person is, why do you tell me you have found your equal. ”
I asked hissing.
This why I don’t like my sister gisting me, she is always leave me to dwell in suspense.
Suspense of some weeks before she finally end whatever she is telling me.
📲”Come and beat me if you can.” She said giggling.
Her childish behavior will never leave her, I thought shaking my head.
📱”That reminds me, you will help me to do a background check on something and someone. ”
I said running my hands through my head while getting myself ready for her questions.
📲”A girl right?” She asked teasingly.
This why I don’t want to ask for her help but am too busy to do it myself.
📱”Yes, a girl.” I replied trying not to sound excited but I failed.
I actually did and blush also. Damn this feeling is something else.
📲”Your equal! My brother has found his equal!”
She yelled into the phone making me move my phone away from my ear for some seconds.
📱”Yes, but please don’t tell anyone because am yet to confirm.” I whispered.
📲” Okay. I will do it but on one condition. “She said.
That’s it, she would always have condition whenever I need her help.
📱”What condition again? You can never do a favour for free.” I said rolling my eyes.
📲” Of course, that why am you sister and you love me. “She said.
📱” Don’t worry, I will send you some money if that what you want just do it. “I replied.
📲” Nah, I don’t want money this time. I want something else. ”

And the last thing I need is for her and her trouble in that house of mine.
📲”Name?” She asked. I can hear some shoveling of books coming from the other side of the line.
📱”Venessa Blackwell.” I replied while I think she wrote it down…
After sometimes of gisting, talking about joking around, we said our goodbyes before dropping the call.
“Blackwell,” I murmured again because the name sounds familiar.

{The history of vampire existence}

“Blackwell,” I murmured again because the name sounds familiar.
Like I have heard it some years back somewhere. Too bad I can’t remember where or when.
Driving into my house,the door was opened and an umbrella was placed above my head.
Which keeps my skin away from the sun. Not that the sun can kill us, but it can harm our skin because we are vampires.
Also,we can’t see clearly when the sun is out unlike in the night.
Just like the way bat can’t see during the day, except when darkness covers the earth surface.
Vampires are made from bat. Meaning bat are our maker.

From the history of vampire existence my mom told me, the first vampire that created us was a lady who is inform of a bat.
She was cursed that why her spirit dwells in a bat body.
Her body was buried deep in the forest but her spirit was allowed to dwell in the bat body.
In the year 900BC, vampires are werewolves were friends.
There was no leader except for the vampire King and Alpha who rule along side with each other.
Until one day when a werewolf was forcefully turned .
She has been cheating with her vampire lover which is the vampire king.
Hearing these, the Alpha was furious for weeks before he finally decide to confront the King.
The king didn’t feel sorry for what he has done. Which makes the Alpha more angry and pained.
Because the two king vowed not to have any relationship other than friendship.
But the vampire king went against it thinking he has the upper hand.
All because he can turn anyone into his kind but the Alpha couldn’t turn anyone to his kind.
The Alpha couldn’t hold more anger because the deed is done so instead, he welcome the vampire king heir.
The heir is a she who has both blood in her. Meaning is a vampire and a werewolf.
Too cut long story short, the Alpha was on his way to the vampire king office to discuss some issue.
But stop Midway when he over heard the vampire king planing to kill him inorder to rule both being.
Hearing these, he was about turning back but to spilt the kingdom and keep his people safe.
But too late, the vampire king already knows he knew and also saw him.
Fight broke out between both creatures because of this.
It was in-between this fight that both creatures knows each other weakness.
Vampire where burnt alive with fire because that the only thing that can kill vampires.
While anything with sliver blade can burn and kill werewolves.
The girl that was created with both blood running in her veins was cursed.
Cursed that her spirit will be lock away and dwell in a bat body for 10,000 years(ten thousand years).
But will be released only if she is able meet her equal.
Both the vampires and werewolves kingdom was burnt into ashes except her.
She is the first and the last person to be mated to a human.
Which makes it difficult for me to agree that my mate is not extra ordinary.
Vampires don’t drink from humans to live. They live on deer blood.
But after going back on the promise between the lycan and vampires, we were cursed with it.
Which is the second curse from going back on our deal.
The last curse was on our wings. I know you will be surprise, but yes we do have wings.
We don’t have wings before and we can fly but going back on a deal gave us wings.
And those wings only comes out once in a month which is called the blood moon or the full moon.
On that day, the stronger vampires would feed on the weaker ones to quench their hunger.
Else, he or she would continue feeding on humans and animals without been satisfied.
But once the full moon or blood moon is over, they would be back to normal.
I called this a curse because the more you feed, the more pain you feel coming from your wings.
And you won’t be able to touch it because of the sharp blade which are sitted at the edge of each wings.
The more you feed that day, the more stronger you become and the more larger you wings become.
Also the more larger you wings become, the more pain you feel.
That day also, vampires that aren’t mated or haven’t met their equal are always damn horny.
But they don’t always get satisfied if the lady they have sex with are not their equal.
But once the day pass over, they are always relieved but will still feel little ach.
That day is always like vampires are in-between life and Death.
Because surely some vampires will die while some will live.
Also that day, vampires memories are always blurry that you wouldn’t be able to recognize anyone.
Even your family will seem like a stranger in your face.
That day also, if you provoke any vampire, be sure you will be dead before you finish counting two seconds.
All this scare the living out of me that my equal is a human.
Will she allow me to mark her so that my pain will be lessen?
Will she not look at me like a monster when she sees me feeding that day?…

Wow, I don’t know vampires even have weakeness.
And even have a way of feeling this so much pain.
