Episode Sixty Four
“Hey” Michael said.

“Hi” Becca replied smiling, she looks slim and very hungry “Why isn’t anyone hugging me??” She asked jokingly, everyone laughed, Michael held her hand.

“That’s because the doctor warned us against such” Michael replied, as they walked back up stairs. He helped her to sit up on the bed, he took his phone and made a call, few minutes, a maid entered with a big tray, she bowed and handed it over to Michael, who muttered a ‘Thank You’, He prepared her to eat and within seconds, she was eating, after the first round of food, he gave her fruits.

“Thanks alot Michael” She said smiling.

“No I should be thanking you, for staying alive for me and being strong, I don’t know what I would have done if I had lost you” He said.

“Am so sorry” She said “I didn’t tell you about my problems”

“No biggie, it’s fine, at least you are here now” He said smiling, he took the tray away from her and placed it on the table.

“Michael, why did that foreigner try to kill me and why did she call you a murderer, don’t tell me you are a business man and also a mob boss” Becca said frowning, Michael laughed.

“No, am not… She tried to get to me using you, just someone after our money, jealous enemies” Michael said smiling.

“Ooohhh” She said nodding her head “Like seriously, I can’t still believe you are Darlington, like girls crush over you guys and everyone talks about you all” She said with surprise, Michael smiled, She saw Michael’s bracelet and as she touched her wrists, it was empty, she touched her neck and looked at her finger, she couldn’t find any of the jewelries.

“There” He said as he handed them over to her, she smiled “Yeah, I was the one that cooked your food” He said, She looked at him with surprise.

“Really??!!” She asked shocked.

“Yep” Michael answered her smiling.

“It was so good, I believe you now” Becca said, Michael smiled and for few minutes he stared at her “Michael???” She called but he didn’t answer, she moved closer to him and tapped him, he immediately engulfed her in a hug.

“I miss you” He said his voice laced with emotions mixed together, she hugged him tightly.

“Same here” Becca said, they both disengaged “I need to freshen up and go to play with the family” She said excited.

“Freshen up, yes, go play with the family, nope” Michael said as he helped her up.

“Mike!! Why??” She asked pouting, he laughed.

“Babe you need rest” He said and she gro-ned. He led her to a room that has been prepared for her.

“Wow!!! Great place” She complemented.

“Thanks” He said, he opened the bathroom and she stared with total shock.

“Jeez!!!” She said looking around the bathroom that was sparkling and beautifully made, Michael laughed at her every reaction “You guys are freaking rich” She muttered.

“You just freshen up, I will be here after an hour” Michael said walking towards the door “And if you are bored, there is a TV” He said pointing at one, the room looks like a mini house “And if you are bored with that, call me, I will keep you company” He said as he went to the drawers and dropped a new phone on her bed, the phone has been set up already.

“You got everything prepared already” She said beaming.

“Make yourself comfortable” Michael said, she hugged him, he smiled over her shoulders. They disengaged, Michael left the room while Becca continued to look around, after few minutes she went to take her bath, coming out she saw different female dress on the bed, She smiled as she began to sort them out.

Veronica is sitted in her beautiful and well designed office which was located at the farther end of a gigantic boutique’s building, She had been feeling somehow funny for sometimes, but she kept it to herself and didn’t tell Jimi because she feel it was nothing.

“I think, I have to see a doctor” She said as she stood up immediately and went out, workers were greeting her, she returned their greetings with smiles, they all seems to love her, she entered her car and drove off to the hospital, After few minutes she came out with smiles all over her face, she has both the expression of surprise and amazement, She fished out her phone and called Jimi.

“Hey, my love” Jimi said happily over the phone.

“Ayanfemi” Veronica said slowly pretending to be sick.

“Babe, are you alright??” He asked.

“Am at the hospital”

“Wait what??!!!” He half yelled, Veronica held in her laughter “Send the address now, I will be there” He said and hung up immediately, few minutes passed, Jimi came running to the hospital, he saw Veronica, he looked over her body and make sure she is fine.

“Am fine, the doctor just wanted to tell you something” She said, he haven a relief, nodded and they both walked to the doctor’s office. After pleasantries have been exchanged, they both sat down. The doctor cleared his throat and started :

“Congratulations Sir, you wife is six weeks pregnant” The doctor said, Jimi was shocked.

“Wait!!! What!!!! But I thought she was passed the age and we have even be planning to adopt a child” Jimi said still in disbelief.

“Yeah, I know but you see, we have seen cases like these most times and I really do get surprised myself but all the same, God works in divers means you know, your wife is pregnant” The doctor said smiling. Jimi hugged his wife happily but his smile vanished.

“I hope it won’t effect or damage anything ” He asked.

“No, it won’t, we will monitor the pregnancy and make sure everything goes on well” The doctor said and once again his smile returned “Make sure she doesn’t stress herself and also make sure you become intimate regularly” The doctor said, Jimi looked at Veronica with a smiling and mischievous face, she smiled and look sideways.

“Am on it doc, thanks alot” Jimi said, the men shook hands and the couple walked out of his office. He carried her suddenly in bridal style.

“People are looking, oh my goodness!! Some are taking pictures, videos, c’mon put me down” She said laughing as she struggles in vain to get down.

“Stop moving, don’t disturb my baby, I want every one to know again that you are mine babe” He said into her ears, she laughed “You heard what the doctor said right??” He asked as he placed her in the car, he entered too and began to drive.

“Hmmm…. Doctor said many things, which one exactly, I can’t really remember” She said pretending to not understand what he was saying.

“Really, the part where he said I should always…….” He was said dragging his words, Veronica laughed.

“Fine, fine…. I know” She cut in laughing. They both laughed and began talking about the baby.

Michael and George were in the the former’s office eating and talking.

“I can’t believe everyone ditched us” George said, Michael chuckled.

“Jemima called yesterday, she doing fine in California and she said study is OK too” Michael said, George nodded.

“For these few months the kids too haven’t been available, they have been really studying, while Mom is busy with her husband, the ladies too are not left out, ever since Gabe and Becca became friends, they don’t act clingy again with us, remind me where they are again???” George said sulking, Michael laughed.

“Yeah, but am happy they are all friends, They are at Ruth’s, I must say Gabe really have nice family” Michael said, as sometimes ago Gabe has introduced her family to George’s.

“Same here…. But buddy don’t you think is high time, we…..” Goerge said whispering into Michael’s ear, he nodded.

“I think so, we should carry the men along on our plan, so we can surprise them” Michael said, referring to Raphael, David and Jimi.

“Yeah, I think so too” George said smiling. The two continued to talk.

“Why are we here???” Ruth asked David who kept smiling. The kids, Veronica, Jimi, Stella, Raphael, Roland, Nicholas, Becca and Gaberialle are all present in a very beautiful restaurant, they have been sitted for a while.

“Waiting for George and Michael” Jimi answered.

“You have been saying that since like forever” Ashley said looking around. Then both Michael and George stepped into the restaurant looking dashing.

“Wow!!! Hot!!!!” Alexa commented, the rest laughed. Veronica hugged both of them as they walked to them, they both frown.

“Mom!!! You have put on alot of weight!!!” Michael said frowning as he looked at his Mom who was obviously big and was putting on a very big and long gown.

“Don’t tell me you now allow her dress like this, is she a nun???” George said looking at Jimi who laughed.

“Shut up stupids, am pregnant” Veronica said happily.

“What!!!!” George and Michael scre-med in shock, looking at the others, they had smiles on their faces.

“Yeah!!! It’s a wonderful miracle” She said smiling, they hugged her again.

“Am so happy for you Mom” Michael said smiling and winking at Jimi.

“Awwwnnn, so sweet” George said smiling, the the two hugged their lovers and immediately they disengaged, Micheal went on one kneel.

“Awwnn!!!!! I think I know what’s going on!!” Alexa sequeled, holding hands with Ashley. Then a slow music began to play, they look around but this time the restaurant has totally change, it was decorated with flowers, balloons etc.

“Rebecca, I love you, everything about you and I want to spend the rest of me with you….. Will you??” Michael said as both David and Raphael held up a big placard, it reads “Be my queen”. The kids squealed including Adrian, Ruth smiled happily, Veronica placed her hands on her cheeks, smiling widely.

“Yes!!!! I will!!!” Becca said happily hugging Michael, Adrian handed a flower to Michael, he gave his to Becca, after sliding the ring in her finger. He had removed the first ring he gave her and placed it in her middle finger on the right hand.

“You guys planned this right???” Ashley asked Adrian who was now standing beside her.

“Yep” He answered. George went on his kneel too before Gabe, who had tears in her eyes.

“We have been through alot but in all I am very happy I still got you… Please be my wife” He said smiling.

“Yes, I will” Gabe said happily, he slid the ring into her finger, they all clapped, Stella took videos and pictures with a big smile on her face. They all celebrated and ate happily.

Months Later……

“Ready????” Ruth asked both Becca and Gabe who were beautifully dressed in beautiful wedding gowns, Becca’s gown is white while that of Gabe is pink. Three people were also in the room, they were through with dressing the brides up, they took their leave. They all agreed to have the wedding in Nigeria together, after having a traditional engagement within the family and friends.

“I am nervous” Becca said smiling.

“Same here” Gabe said.

“You should be but am glad you both are happy, let’s go and don’t keep millions of people waiting, especially your grooms” Ruth said, the brides smiled. They all stepped out from Gabe’s house.

“Wow!!!” Jemima, Stella, Ashley and Alexa exclaimed.

“You look good” Stella commented.

“Thanks” The brides said smiling, they all heard sobs, they turned to see both Ashley and Alexa sobbing.

“Awwnn, don’t ruin your beautiful faces dear, today is a day of joy” Ruth said, she wiped their tears away.

“Just happy to have a mother figure in our lives” Alexa said smiling. They all entered to the cars which drove off to the hall, that were filled with so many people. The program started, the grooms were smiling throughout, they said their vows happily. Soon the program ended, the new couples drove to their house, after them everyone went home happy and glad for the new couple. On the way home, Veronica fell into labour, Jimi had to hold her and soothe her while the driver drove straight to the hospital.
