Dat called his parents, and some minutes later, they arrived.

I thought for a while what seems right to me……hmmmm….this is really a tough decision.

“well….I wanna be with lisa”,I said and I peered into Richie’s face…..tears formed in her eyes.

“alright then……”,thee dad said.

”wait father”,lisa interrupted.

“what! Is it bad to love someone? Infact, lemme go and tell them I want to get married to him”,I said and stood up.

“dont you dare lisa”,Richie half yelled.

“coz I love him”,she yelled, but realised herself and I smiled.

“that’s what I wanted to hear”,I said and hugged her.

We both went downstairs.

They all left after richie made her decision .

I woke up, took my bath, dressed up and prepared breakfast.

”lisa, someone is here to see you”,the gateman informed.

It must be Vera…I didn’t even thank her yesterday….she is such a good friend.

I walked outside……oh its Michael.

“hi”,I replied softly, walked over to him and hugged him.

“so, what brings you t my home abode?”,I asked.
“well……I wanna take you out”,he replied and I smiled.

“lemme just change”,I replied and ran inside.

As I was about entering my room, mom called me.

“yes mum”,I answered.
“who Is that guy outside?”,she asked.

“oh, he is my friend”,I replied, in a haste.
“opportunity they say comes but once”,she said.

“mum I don’t get you”,I replied.
“well…from what I observed, that guy has interest in you, so grab that opportunity”,she replied.

“mum, where are you heading with this?”,I asked
“you see, you are pregnant for another man who is about to get married to your sister, so……make him love you the more… So he will get married to you”,mum replied.

”mum, you mean I should deceive him?”,I asked, shocked.
“lets take it that way”,she replied.

“mum, we will talk later”,I said.
“your dad has given you a month…..else out leave this house”,mum said and I walked away.

I waited for her, and soon she was out though she took long.

Her mood……it changed! She wash looking happy and her mind was elsewhere.

We got to the restaurant, and she was playing with her fork.

“don’t you like it?”,I asked, but there was no response.

I tapped her.
“oh my gosh, am so sorry”,she blurted out.
“whats wrong?”,I asked.

“nothing’,she replied and started eating.

The next minute, her mind was else where. I called her name, but there was no response……. Tears dropped from her eyes.

“whats wrong?”,I asked, feeling concerned.

“nothing….I need to go….am sorry”,she replied and left.
