Episode 29
Smile walked dejectedly out of the library arena,
with Jenny who was glorifying that Smile’s loves her beside him.
They walked pass the convocation arena, and stopped a carb going to the main gate of the campus.
Both of them entered “I am so, happy” Jenny said happily, Smile gr–ned in frustration.
She has failed to realize he wasn’t happy,
Some minutes later they arrived at Smile’s lodge,
both of them. Smile slummed on the bed and exhaled tiredly,
Jenny sat on him and locked eyes with him.
her eyes sparkle with lust, she lower her face and wanted to k-s him passionately,
Smile removed his face and yawned hungrily, “am so hungry, baby…” he said.
“Let me go and cook for my love” Jenny replied happily and jumped off from him,
and ran into the kitchen. Smile shook his head in pity,
he was so heartbroken that he slept off before Jenny could come and inquire what he would want to eat.
she frowned when she saw him sleeping,
but still went in,side the kitchen and prepared what he will eat,
when she was done cooking. She still find him sleeping,
and it was getting late. She got up and wrote some letters in a teared sheet of paper, and dropped it on the bed side.
When Jenny left, an hour later Smile rolled and his phone vibrated, he jerked up and rubbed his sleeping eyes,
he took the phone and click on the message box.
~Meet me at the beach, from Eva~
His eyes bulged in the sockets, it was 9pm and Cyril was using the reading desk,
he got up and stretched, he walked to the kitchen and took a plate of rice, he devoured it.
but his mind was in conflict, as he didn’t know the decision that he will take.
He walked to the bathroom and took his bath,
he came back and dressed up. He was about going out, “where are you going?” Cyril asked with a concerned voice.
“To see Eva” he replied and inhaled, “did she call or texted you?” he asked him, “text” Smile replied.
“What if it was Igbudu who sent that text message?” Cyril asked him.
Smile had a second thought, he brought out his phone and placed a call, her phone was switched off.
“Switch off” he mumbled incoherently.
“It must be that nama Igbudu” Cyril told him, he walked dejectedly and sat on the bed.
He drowned in his thoughts, he check the time and it was almost 10pm, he got up.
Cyril flashed him angry questionable look “my heart said, I should go” he said and walked out of the room,
Cyril shook his head and prayed for him.
He came out of the room and the cold night breeze graced his body,
he shivered due to the sudden cold. He walked out of the gate as the beaming moonlight in the sky illuminated his footpaths.
He flagged down a taxi and hop in, he got to his destination and paid the driver,
he walked into the beach and loud music and people were dancing,
he walked to the sides huts can be seen,
He got close to the stream were he couldn’t see farther due to the absence of light.
He exhaled and braced himself, he walked on the streamline with calculative footsteps.
He saw a girl who stood before the stream looking up towards the moon,
she was on white panties “Eva!?” Smile called nervously,
“Am no longer Eva love” she said turning and beaming with her best charming smile.
Smile scratched his head nervously, “isn’t what I meant” he replied walking closer.
“Where is your girlfriend?” She asked raising her eyebrows,
“At her house” Smile replied.
“Yours?” Smile asked her.
“Hades” she replied and sat on the w-t sand,
she stretched her legs towards the flowing water on the streamline.
He squat beside her “what do you mean?” he asked in confusion.
“I killed him, he is a d***!” Eva replied and felt like crying,
she couldn’t believe she has to kill her best friend and her first love,
She prevented the tears to flow down her cheeks.

A car drove towards the bottom of the mountain,
The door of the car opened and Eva ran out, and started climbing the mountain,
on the created path on the mountain, to be easy to access the mountain apex.
“Wait baby!” Igbudu called out to her, she didn’t respond.
she got to a hideous path and brought a gun,
she loaded the gun quietly and waited till she heard his heavy foot-falls,
“Jeff baby, where are you?” Eva asked,
“Am here, darling” he replied.
she came out and shot him, the bullet penetrated his forehead,
he started bleeding from there “why?” he asked,
his eyes bloodshot. “Am sorry” Eva cried out and shot him once again, but the other bullets did no harm to him as they drop from his body.
He fell face down and died, Eva walked to him and searched him for his phone,
she dialed a number “he is death, Ugo mountain” she said into the the receiver and ended the call, she ran off from the mountain and entered the car, and sped out.

“Am sorry honey, remove your legs from the waters, you will get cold” Smile told her,
“I want to get cold, you are here to f*** out the cold from my body” she replied him and grabbed his neck,
she lowered his face and both l-ips clashed.
In no time they had s***.

Two years later….
Li and Tasha,
were standing round Eva, she was sleeping on the bed.
She stirred and opened her eyes,
“Happy graduation day” both of them chanted and jumped on the bed,
“Thank you babies” Eva said and three of them giggled,
as they k-sed each others on their cheeks.
The door opened and one of the white Angel girls who lived with them entered,
with a package in her hand.
“Regards to my Capon, I saw this outside the gate. Didn’t see who dropped it, but your name is written on it” the girl said and hand over the package.
Eva took it and smiled, “it must be from my darling boyfriend” Eva said blushing, “awww..” Li and Tasha mused pretending to be jealous.
Eva opened the package and looked in,side,
sudden frown appeared on her face, she turned the package upside down and a gun tied with white clothe fell off from it.
Her two friends became scared, “white Angels of death crusade banner” Li said and gasped for breathe.
“They are coming for you Eva” Tasha told her,
“Why?” Eva asked in confusion.
“No Capon lives the school alive” Li replied, and felt pity for her friend.

Episode 30
Three of them sat on the bed dejectedly,
The room was quiet as a graveyard.
“Yes!!” Tasha exclaimed jabbing the air, three of them turned to her immediately.
They stared at her with questioning look, “I have a plan” she said smiling, Li rolled her eyes at her. She always have the best suggestion amongst them.

At the school convocation arena the next day,
the sun sat at East, as the daylight creep into blossom.
Within sometime, cars started arriving in the premises, around 9am.
People started arriving, smile were glued to faces with convocation gowns.
Some were busy taking pictures, in due time cars started arriving in the premises, in no time the area was crowded by people.
In no time, there was no space for cars to park.
The roadsides leading into the campus was filled with cars,
Smile and his parents arrived in the convocation arena.
Cyril was talking with someone, when he looked back and saw his friend “convocation boy!” He hailed and both of them started laughing.
They hugged chuckling, attracting attention.
“Good afternoon sir and ma” Cyril greeted grinning,
“Afternoon, my boy” Smile’s father replied, placing his hand on his shoulder.
They were still standing and talking, when Eva arrived.
Immediately she sighted them, she sneak to Smile from behind,
and hugged him from behind.
Smile exhaled sharply when he scent her perfume.
He turned around and hugged her “you look dazzling” he teased her, she smack him on his arm softly and blushed profusely.
Smile and Eva were still engrossed with each other,
his father cleared his throat.
“Dad, mom, meet my girlfriend” Smile said to his parents.
“Good afternoon, sir” Eva greeted with humility,
she also greeted his mother.
“You truly a son of your father, you really have an eye for beautiful things” Smile’s father said.
“Don’t I know you?” Smile’s mother said softly, looking closely on Eva’s beautiful face.
Eva stiffened when she said that, her thought extend from her body roaming searchingly for memories were she has seen Smile’s mother.
“You are the Minister’s daughter, Hadija, right?” Smile’s mother asked.
Eva exhaled in relief, and nodded slowly.
Smile stared at them in confusion, “the graduating students should march in, we are about to start” a voice spoke from the stationed speakers,
“Honey, let’s go and settle in one of the spectators seat, before it will be all occupied” Smile’s father said, his wife and him left the trio.
Cyril’s tucked his hands in his pockets and started whistling, as both lovers stared at each other without word coming from any of them.
“Why don’t you tell me?” Smile asked with an angry voice,
Eva shook her head tiredly,
“Am sorry for this, am sorry for everything” she said holding back tears,
she has a lot of skeleton in her cupboard, how will she announce to him that this is her last day on Earth.
“Let’s go” Smile told Cyril and walked
away with him, leaving Eva behind.

After sometime, the hall was filled to the brim, as all the spectator seats were filled with parents, children and well wishers.
At the mouth of the podium, the graduating students sat on the chairs with their convocation gowns radiating in their colors.
At the podium is the VC and an executive representative of the Government,
“The best graduating student is Smile…” The VC announced,
the room was aired with loud clapping from every corner.
Smile stood and walked towards the podium facing everyone,
He was given a gift and the cameraman captured the blissful moment,
He was given the microphone to speak “… Am grateful to the school administrators, and most grateful to my parents. Who has offered such an opportunity for me to be in this school…” Smile spoke,
Eva got up from her seat and walked away, Smile’s eyes was on her as she left.

Eva stepped out of the campus tarred way, and entered an open field with lots of flowers around.
The area was deserted as everyone are present in the convocation arena,
Eva’s eyes glow white as a clay pot was kept at the centre of the field emanating smoke.
The angels of death came out of their hidings,
Their foreheads tied with red piece of clothe.
Eva’s eyes turned to the normal eyes, she turned around with fear.
As the seven white Angels of death surrounds her,
“Eyes no see, mouth no talk, the day isn’t afraid of the night and the night isn’t afraid of the day. Those who will feast with Odin are few, amongst the few are the chosen ones, and amongst the chosen ones are the selected ones” their leader said.
“Life and death” the leader said, as four gunshots was heard in the campus,
Those who were close ran away, the school securities are in the convocation arena.
Smile appeared close to that place, and saw Eva on the field lying,
He ran into the field and hold her to himself, sitting on the field.
“Wake up! Wake up!! Eva” he said tapping her cheek with his palm, her convocation gown was stained with her own blood.
she opened her eyes slowly, “am sorry, Smile” she said to him.
“Am not angry with you” he replied, tears falling from his eyes.
“Go, go! Run Smile” she told him.
He shook his head sideways, “run!” she said slowly and her eyes closed, police van was heard from afar.
“Don’t leave me, Eva” Smile said crying,
He stood up and walked backward staring at Eva’s body.
He still ran to her dead body and buried his face in her body,
“I love you, please don’t leave me!” He cried out.
When the police van siren was close, he ran away.
