Daniella POV

I stare at the dress in her hand with my mouth wide opened, unable to believed my eyes.

I am sure this dressing is not for me nether for her because she don’t dress fancy like this. Then who the hell is going to put on this dress.

“Love it?”she asked, smiling while showing me the dress.

“I hate it!”I reply truthfully, making her smile fade away.

“How did you expect me to put on this dress and besides what is going on campus that I have to dress like this?”I asked , still finding it confusing.

At one look one could tell that this dress look costly that could even bought a car.

Rich kids put on this type of dress.where did she get the money from and what is going on.

“Nothing.”she replied, dropping the dress beside her and bringing out shoes.

“I just feel like we should dress differently today and besides there is nothing wrong in it other Girls do dress like this.”she said, dropping the shoe.That is when I noticed that another dress was there which I knew was for her.

Why is it that I am having a feeling that she is hiding something?

“I am not putting it on!”I said curtly, walking away and sat down on the bed.

She sighs in frustration before coming to meet me.

“Daniella please let’s just dress differently today.”she said with her hand folded together making me look surprised.

“Kelly you are begging me because of a dress?”I asked amused and she rolled her eyes.”as if I got a choice.”she mumbled.

“Sorry Kelly, I am not wearing that dress, it look too fancy… too bitchy…too…”

“Enough Daniella!”she cut me off.“i don’t know if is a crime that I said we should dress differently today.” She walked away angrily and started returning the dress back in,side the shopping back.

I stood up and walked toward her smiling.
“Okay let’s wear them.”I said and her face brightened up immediately.

“Really?”

“Yes but not today!”I said , making the brightness suddenly die down.

“We can’t wear this dressing to lecture,it is very costly.”I glared at me.

“Calm down Kelly.
What I mean is that w….”

“Enough miss gagari!”she shouted.

“You must wear it whether you like it or not!”

“But…..”

“No but!
It’s two o’clock, go in there and take your bath!”she cut me off again, pointing in the direction of the bathroom.

Before I could object again she rushed to me and started pushing me toward the bathroom.

Crazy girl.

“Be fast and dare waste my time!”she warned.

Now I have no choice but to g
take my bath and forcefully wear that cloth.

Some minutes later I came out of the bathroom with my towel wrapped around my body.

I came out walking fully into the room to mean another shocking thing again.

All kinds of makeup are scattered on the flow and Kelly was there busy with it.

“Kelly what is this?”I asked , still standing, staring at them.

“This is called makeup in case you don’t know.”she replied without even giving me a gaze and that started provoking me.

“Am going to use it to perform magic on your face even when Lawrence sees you he won’t be able to recognize you again.”she added and immediately my anger vanished away at the mention of his name.

“Am I getting married?”I asked , smiling and walking toward her.

“Dude! I won’t be your makeup artist if you are getting married I will be your chief bridesmaid.”she said finally looking back at me smiling and that got me rolling my eyes.

“What!
Do you have a sister?”she asked as if just remembering something.

“No, I am the only girl.”I answer sitting on the bed.

“But you have two brothers at least you won’t be bored like me.”she said in a sad tone.

“Are you the only girl also?”I asked and she immediately shook her head.

“I am an only child,”she replied sadly.

“Wow! Wow! Wow!
You will be treated like a princess.”I said happily, still amused.

“Princess?”she scoffed.
, and I immediately closed my teeth.”they don’t have time to even make me one baby brother or sister you are talking about treating me like a princess.”she said sadly one could tell she is in pain.

“What happened to them?”I asked and a smirk appeared on her face before it faded too.

“I wish something bad would have happened to them.”

How can she be praying that something bad to happened to her parent?

“Excuse? they are your parents!”

“No they are not!”she rejected immediately.”they are not even worthy to be called the name *parent*.”she said this time tears started flowing down her eyes.

I just sat there watching her. What does she mean?

“They are so engrossed in their business that they don’t even care about me.

The two of them always said their work and business is their priority and their life.”she said, still trying her best to control the tears but liquid to always find their way.

I remain quite still staring at her because I don’t know what to say and I don’t think any word can make her feel good right now so it is best I allow her to cry everything out.

“But I was spoiled with everything one could ask for, that is worldly material that could only make me laugh but couldn’t give me joy.

I was born into wealth and grew up in wealth but I still feel dead.

I feel like I was not meant to be in this world despite all the wealth surround me.

All I asked for is their attention,care and to have a good relationsh¡p with them especially mum but they couldn’t offer.

I prayed for death to come every day.
I pray not to wake up back to life whenever I sleep but everything changes the day i meant you guys.

The day three of you accept me as best friends. I love you guys!

I felt the reason to live again because the attention,care and good relationsh¡p I have been looking for I found it in you guys.

You guys always make me feel wanted and lively and am always happy when I am with you guys.”she said smiling at the last part.

This life is a battleground.
If those that are rich still face problems.

Thank God for my life at least. I still have a parent and two brothers who could go to any length to make me feel good despite our backgrounds.

Kelly is a strong girl who will never allow someone to notice her in h@rd times.

She always smiles despite what and behaves crazy all the time. She is really strong.

By now she has stopped crying and returned back to what she was doing as if nothing happened.

But what business would take all the time that they don’t care about their only child.

“What type of work did they do?”I found myself asking before I could stop myself.

Gosh…Daniella you shouldn’t have asked that kind of question!

“The man is the prime minister of South Africa and the woman owns one of the biggest companies there.”she said nonchalantly.

Am very sure am heading double right?

“What did you say?”I asked using my wide ear.

“You heard me right!”

Someone to wake me up. I can’t believe what I am hearing!

Omg…this is something I never think of. Kelly is a minister Daughter.

“Kelly you are……”

“Hey enough of me!”she cut me off and started walking towards me.

“Let’s get started.”She dragged me to where the makeup was kept and made me sit down.

“Now stay quiet as I perform magic on your face.”she said smiling as I stared at those eyes.

Daniella POV

“Kelly, who is this?”I asked , pointing at the person standing in front of the mirror because I am hundred percent sure that I am not the one.

How the hell can I be the one?
Of course I am not!

“I asked Kelly, who the hell am i seen instead of myself?”I asked again but she didn’t answer and just focus on her makeup.

I sigh watching her since she has told me everything concerning her. She has been a moodie,I have tried everything to make her talk but I still end up trying in vain.

I return my gaze back to the mirror gosh….i look like a goddess.

I could h@rdly recognize myself in the mirror. I really look like a celebrity dressed like bitch.

I’m wearing a blue short,up shoulder gown that hugs my body perfectly and tight….that is only a few inches from my Butt’s. all my curves are on display.

And my makeup….she really did a great smooth work here,I never knew my best friend is into makeup.

She did a smooth eyeshadow…red l!pstick…which made me look like one of those female gangsters.

“Wow…Daniella you look glamorous.”Kelly gushed as I immediately turned back to confirm If it was her talking.

Wasn’t she behaving like a deaf ghost and kept mute a while ago?

After checking she was the one who spoke and also turned around to see if there is someone else in the room that is Also bearing Daniella.

She rolled her eyes.
“I just admire you now, you should be grateful!”

“Thank you!”

I replied not wanting to prolong it again because her craziness has started.

“Have this.”she said, screeching a red designer handbag with red shoes.

“Wow”was what came out of my mouth as I took it from her.

God… Hope is not about to be sold because the dressing is something I never imagined.

I put the shoe on and turn back to the mirror as I stare at myself with my mouth opened.

“How did I look?”Kelly’s voice brought me back and I immediately turned to her side.

Gaps escape my mouth.what!

She was also wearing the same dress as me.

Red up shoulder shot gown that hugged her body perfectly displayed all her curves but shorter than mine.

She did a very light makeup making her the queen of water goddesses.

Gosh..is this really Kelly the crazy nerd?
She is cuter than Jane, in fact Jane is nowhere near her.

“Hey stop staring at me like that!”she complained and a big smile formed on my face.

“Words can’t define how you look now because you are beyond beauty!
John can’t resist you if he sees you.”I compliment her and as expected she blushed.

“Omg..
Someone is in love.”i whiney as she blushes the more.

“What!”she suddenly s¢ræmed with her eyes locked on the clock.”4:30pm we are late!”she said, rushing to the mirror by my side and checking herself.

“Hey calm down, it’s just an evening lecture!”I said as I put my phone in,side my bag.

“Let’s go,”she said, leading the way.

I follow her out and close the door when she suddenly stops.

“Lock the door!”she instructed.

“Why?
Is just an evening lecture and is not that I have been locking it before.”

“I know but I just have the feeling you should lock it.”she said struggling.

“Okay”I replied, going in,side to take the key and come out back then before we proceeded out fully.

“Are we trekking with all this dress?”I asked , and she immediately glared at me.

“Common Kelly, you said it yourself that we are late.”

“Then let’s walk faster!”she answered walking away and I followed behind laughing.

We haven’t taken ten steps when suddenly a black car stops at our front making us stop walking.the gl@ss whine down revealing a handsome guy putting on all black.

If it is not because I saw him in a big car I will have referred him to a body guard.. Silly me!

“Are you going to campus?”he asked, smiling and Kelly nodded quickly.

What the hell, we don’t even know him!

“Let me give you a ride, beautiful ladys!”he said and before I could object Kelly had already dragged me with her as the door opened and we entered in,side.

“What the hell!”I whispered but this crazy creature behaved as if she didn’t hear me.

“Kelly, this is risky!”

“Ohhh..should he increase the speed?”she asked instead as I immediately shot her a dead glare, making her shut up.

Gosh .am stuck here!

Few minutes later we finally came to our destination and I quickly came down ignoring Kelly who burst into laughter.

“Thank you.”we said to the guy who also came down.

I expected him to ask one of us for a contract but he only smiled and walked away.

That is when I noticed everyone was dressing differently today.

All the girls and guys are putting on something hot so that they are all looking good.

What is going on on campus?
Or is a musician coming?

The way I am seeing things I don’t know if there is a lecture today but why did..

Gosh…I am confused!

I turn to face Kelly and see her smirking at me.
“What’s happening?”I asked confused totally ignore her smirk

“I just saved your @ss!”

“I asked a question!
What is going on ?
I mean why is …everyone..looking hot and….”

“The reason why you are here!
They also came for the lecture.”She cut me off smiling.

I got angry!
How can I be somewhere and everything is black to me.why?

“Enough of this game kelly!
I am f*****g tired of it!”I yelled angrily and she quickly put on an innocent face.

“What are you saying?”she asked innocently, provoking me the most.

“Stop it!”I yell.

I called her my best and she is keeping things away from me.

“But..i don’t.. understand.”sge stammer seeing my expression.

“What is going on?”I yelled in frustration and instantly I felt two strong hands, one on my right and the other one on my left holding me.

Before I could even do anything a cloth was already used to tight my face preventing me from seeing anything.

I expected to p@ss out but I didn’t.

What’s happening?
Omg…am done for!

“Kelly”I shouted but didn’t hear any reply.

She was here…where is she?

Hope am dreaming!

“Let me go please!”
