Fred’s POV..
My eyes w¡dened in shock as she deepened the k-ss sending rush of s-nsation all over me…
My hands were shivering as it slowly went over her wa-ist…
I was quite afraid to hold her more closely..
I can’t believe she is really k-ssing me!!!
Wow!!
She finally broke the k-ss and held my cheeks carefully peering into my eyes with a shimmering eyes that made me mesmerized..
I couldn’t even stop gasping, this was the last thing I expected from someone like her…I mean, I’m just a…commoner!!..she is a superstar!!
“Fred, you are one in a million..you really deserves the best!..I keep loving you more!!” She chirped making my cheeks flush red..
Wide smiles took over my face that I couldn’t control it anymore..
“Sophia….” I called placing my palm on her palm which was on my cheeks..
“A day like this was what I thought would never came, can I say you are…really…my girlfriend now!” I breathed staring at her face which looked so beautiful!!
“Yes…Fred I accept you…” She replied coyly looking down the floor..
I felt my heart leap for joy, I just felt like bursting as I heard her clearly…
Oh God!!
Slowly, I raised her head and hugged her tightly feeling out heartbeat..
“The security men are already heading off, what are we going to do now?” Bryan ch¡pped in..
I broke the hug and held her palm before turning to them all..
“Nothing..we would just sit here and watch the scene..going there too may endanger our lives especially that of Sophia..” I paused and winked at Sophia who chuckled resting her head on my shoulder..
“Xavier is too cunning and dangerous!..let him face the cops and agents, even if he survives it, he would have a great loss…” I replied and opened up my system.
I connected to the live stream while they all took position to watch how things would happen…
Xavier’s POV..
At the beginning, I wanted to end George quietly with pain, anguish, frustration and slander…
I wanted him to feel great pain and shame so he won’t be able to fight back when I takes over the his career and that of his son through the marriage..
The marriage would make Sophia closer to get information making my plans very easy.. but it was all shattered because of a random stranger who got some video..
I smirked again as we got closer to the mansion, my men were up to ten in numbers including 20 more prisoners which I took to add to my team, there was no way I won’t succeed in killing him, there is no way he would escape death today…
Everyone present in his house this moment would all die to avoid trace..
Getting in would be easy..everyone knows I’m his buddy..
“Kip, check the security in there and know how tight it is?” I instructed but he wagged his head sideways..
“The connections is held so I can’t do that..we would go in to check for ourselves..” He said and I nodded and smiles at the thought of George’s death…
It would be a clean shot, just three bullets on his chest and head…
I would even make a video of it and send to Bryan…
It would be the greatest shock of his life…
The gate was automatically opened as I drove closer with my other men…
“Sir we have to be quick, just few minutes, the connection would be recovered and Bryan would get to know you have escaped the prison!” Kip explained and I nodded again before hoping down..
My other men jumped out with their guns positioned..
I was also holding a loaded rifle…
“The cameras are disconnected so no one here should leave alive to avoid any trace…!” I ordered and they nodded before spreading off…
Something wasn’t right about the environment, it looks like an abandoned place, there were very less security men than I thought..
I got to the sitting room and found everywhere strange, it has no one in it…
The maid or servant, even guards were nowhere to be found…
“What is happening here?” I mused looking around with an arched brow..
“George already knows of this attack so he ran away!” Kip replied handing a device to me..
I took it and stared at the screen, it display a short video clip of George leaving with some men…
“Why didn’t you show me this video before coming here!!!..how did he even knew??..the connection is off and..we gave him no chance!!!” I growled with a clenched fist..
“Boss, something is fishy…before now, I couldn’t get any past record of the cameras here, it was all wiped off..but, I was just able to get this particular clip easily now like it was intentionally released…” Kips explained with a confused look…
“So…what are you insinuating??” I asked still angry that I couldn’t get George…
“Someone is watching us, I think Bryan was more prepared this time…let’s leave here now!!!” He stated and I growled in exasperation..
His voice was cracky like he was afraid..
What the hell!!
“How can all this happen??..” I grunted glaring at him as he kept operating his laptop..
“What!!!!…someone hacked into the connection I blocked..he has been able to see all that happened!!..” Kip added with sweat over his forehead as he typed different keys into his laptop more swiftly…
“You are saying gibberish dude!!..who would be able to break your code!!..no one!!..everyone knows you are the best in this!..what are you saying?” I sighed staring at him…
Just then, his countenance changed totally…
“Boss…we are being ambushed!!!” He scre-med leaving me shocked to the core…
What???
My eyes blinked continuously as I wondered what was really happening…
“Sir, call all of your men right now!!!..its either we kill them or they take you away again…and, I’m sorry you may not survive it the second time!” Kip half yelled and I found my hands shivering as I made the call…
I knew what would become of me if I am being caught the second time, the station that was burnt down and the men killed all would be placed on me…
My plan was to run away and hide so they would think I died in the furnace too…
Why would my plan keep getting sour???
“Stallion!!!!…arrange all my men down to George’s house, all of them!!!!…they should rush here before I am being caught!!!” I shrieked in impulse as I glanced at the live stream in Kip’s system…
It was displaying the group of cops and secret agent trouping to George’s house in different vehicle, they were fully armed with different ammunitions, it was like they were going for war…
Why would they be this prepared to get just one man??..someone was really watching like Kip said..
With their ammunition, I would barely escape after a gun battle with my men..
How????..who on earth knew I was here!!!!
My breath went fast and hot as sweat filled my wh0le face and body…
Kip was even dumb to do anything, he was also afraid…
“Sir have you called them????..these cops are getting closer!!..we may get killed today!!” He cried out in intense fear moving off from the seat he sat…
I stared at him In anger and disgust,
Someone was able to break his code so easily and he was even too dumb to notice…
This is his fault!!!
“Kip you are too useless!!!!!” I snorted at him..
“Sir I…”
“What kind of computer operator would be this stupid, now we are stuck!!!” I bellowed and smacked his head with the butt of my gun in fury…
I should have let Fred be, he is the one who would have got this all right…
This Kip here is a complete trash!!!
“Do something!!!!!!” I yelled at him as he winced in pain on the floor..
“We can only hide till our men comes, all our men can fight them for some time which would give us the chance to escape secretly!!!” He breathed and i gave him a long stare…
“Did you mentioned ‘we’..you are too useless to be saved..stay here and help the men, if you die, I won’t count it as a huge loss, if someone can break your code then you are nothing!!” I grunted in disgust..
You can’t tell how angry I am now, everything I planned was just shattered..
All i want is to find the guru who did this…I’m ready to pay him any amount to recruit him…
“Boss…they are at the gate, with our men a few metre away…..” His words hitched as sound of bullets was heard..
My heart flipped and I quickly took to my heel upstairs with two guard flanking me..
Kip also made to run with me but I quickly fired a quick shot on his legs..
“Stay there and fight you sc-mbag!!” I shouted and ran through the hallway..
Kip’s POV..
I gro-ned in deep pain as blood gushed out of my leg, my heart was really beating very fast and loud, the sound of bullets had filled the air, over my head bullets kept passing through…
I was the cause of all this, because of me Xavier would experience a huge loss, it would not be easy for him to even escape being caught today…
It was clear that someone was really ahead of us, that person broke into my system and was able to even watch us through the CCTV camera…
I shut my eyes with deep sigh before tying up my wound, I dragged myself to the side of the couch ..
I would only be safe if our men were able to make those cops retreat,
My sight caught a glimpse at the system and I could see what was happening outside..
My heart swam into my belly in shock and horror..
I must have underestimated the men who came for this battle, they aren’t mere policemen..
The men were highly skilled in guns and combat, I stared in fear as they kept bringing down our men..
I shut my eyes and my mind flashed to Fred my boss, the man who had made me the great computer operator I am…
He can be said to be a computer himself, almost all I learnt was from him.
This had made me jealous that I kept reporting every bad he did to Xavier secretly,
I was the one who made Xavier know fully well about his affection for Sophia..
I wanted him to be killed by Xavier so I would be the next, I badly wanted to be the greatest…
Words couldn’t express how glad I was when his memory was wiped away and I was appointed the head in technology..
Right now, a little thought had just flashed through..
Fred was the only one who can break my code because I was using his own intelligence to operate…
He taught me how to hold down every connection by hacking through satellite, I did it well exactly like he taught…
How then could someone break in??
Just then, I heard a beep from my phone..
I took it and got my eyes popped out as I saw the message..
It was from Fred!!!

The phone fell off as all doubt became clear…

I was still dumb in shock when the door was busted open…
I looked up and there was three agents pointing their gun to my head…
A huge lump covered my throat holding me from saying a word, fear gripped me so much that I was only quivering..
My eyes glued at the gun as they moved their finger to the trigger..
Oh, is this how I would die??
“Where is Xavier?” One of them asked but I was too shocked to say anything…
The fact that Fred was still the Fred before and was the mastermind behind all this made my head blank…
what happened that day??

A bullet went into my shoulder instantly sending rush of intense pain over my wh0le body…
I quivered and sprawled all over the floor, the pain was too much that I felt like I would die…
I watched as blood spilled off, I gro-ned deeply feeling so hot…
Tears kept falling freely, there was no doubt I was dying of the pain in my legs and shoulder,
“Where is Xavier right now!!!” They howled and c*cked their gun…
My wh0le body stiffed, I kept breathing heavily trying to beg but couldn’t move my l-ips..
Another quickly pulled the trigger and i closed my eyes but felt no pain even when I heard the sound clearly…
Two more sound of bullet went over my ear but still yet, I felt no pain…
Was I dead already???
I opened my eyes only to see Xavier in front of me…
He had saved me!!
“Get off from there you bullsh*t!!” He growled and peeped into my system…
“All my men are dead!!!!!” He exclaimed in shock..
I dragged myself up and sat on the couch…
“Are the cops remaining??” I asked slowly..
“I can’t find any here??..” He replied clicking on the different block or records…
“We are the only survival, those men fought to death, let’s leave here now!!!!..the connection would return in 60 seconds!!” I growled dragging my messy self up…
Blood covered me, pain shredded every part of my body, I felt like dying…
My legs and hand was so heavy as blood drip out, I felt so weak but needed to be alive…
“Kip!!!.. I would be leaving now!!..you mustn’t drag me along with your useless self…” Xavier snorted and turned to leave…
“Where are the guards…with you??..they should help me move!!” I breathed.
“They also died when one of the agent tried sneaking in through the back door, those guards died with him…Kip you can die for causing this great loss to me, that person who could break your code is far more greater than you..fool!!!..” He spited and pushed me in anger…
“Xavier!!!” I called out and he sneered at me..
“I’m leaving here to look for that computer genius who did this, he either joins me or I take his life, I would make him join us so you would be useless to me..die!!..I don’t care!!” He huffed in fury as he saw all his men dead because of me…
“We have just 30 seconds!!!” I scre-med and he ran off instantly…
Adrenaline rushed through my bloodstream giving me a strange strength, why would I die so stupidly…
I even need to talk Xavier to stop dreaming…that computer genius is Fred, never would he agree to work with him after all that happened…
Piles of dead bodied filled the floor outside…
Xavier had already gotten into the car and was about to zoom off when he saw me…
“Get in!!!” He shouted and I dragged myself to the car…
Just as he made to drive off, the gate opened with three cars coming in…
“What the heck!!!!” Xavier growled and made to force his way out even with the car that drove in…
Less did we knee they were prepared, just few metre off to the gate, our four tyre were busted..
“Oh f**k!!!!!!” Xavier shouted in frustration hitting the steering…
He took out two pistol and stepped out in fury and impulse….
Xavier’s POV..
My wh0le body was full of rage, my eyes were bloodshot, all I long for was the blood of these men who stood on my way…
This is my greatest lost in history, almost all my men had lost their life in just a single fight..
Their bodies lying over the floor made me grow in rage…
I would surely kill these men!!!!
Rushing down from my car, I quickly sent bullet to the cars, I kept shooting but found out the the cars were bullet proof…
I growled in anger before dropping the gun waiting for the men to come out…..
Just then, the cars door opened leaving me anxious…
“What!!!!!” I found myself scre-ming as I saw Sophia step out first…
My eyes couldn’t believe she was really the one…
Next was Bryan then Rose…
I stood transfixed watching them…
My gun dropped off my grip as I saw the last man to step out…
Fred????
He had a sided smile on his face…
I couldn’t believe it was real!!!
My doubts are cleared.
He was the mastermind behind all that had been happening…
He was the one can hack through well protected system, he was the one who must have broke Kip’s code easily without notice…
My gaze rested on him like he was a ghost, it was obvious he never lost any memory…
“Big surprise???” He smirked and held Sophia on the wa-ist drawing her to his body closely….
I could say a word, this must not be real…I’m dreaming!!!
“You never wanted us together but here we are…” He smirked and pecked her cheek..
“Fred is that you???” I stuttered with my l-ips quivering.
I turned my gaze to Bryan and Rose and couldn’t even look at their faces, how would I had even known that my wh0le plans was all destroyed from the beginning..
I felt weak and exhausted,
“Boss, that is Fred..” I heard Kip voice from my back..
“You read my message right??..you both would die in our hand, that way you can pay for all your evil!!” Fred smirked..
I stared at their faces including Jace and Clara, words can’t explain how intimidated I was…
These are little kids who I had manipulated their parent for a long time, I must have underestimated them leading to this…
“Surrender now!!” Rose snorted and I felt my heart grow heavy in anger..
“What made you think I would??” I sneered and she scoffed..
“You look so pitiful now…” She muttered with a giggle.
“Boss, the connection has returned, the news had circulated…” Kip whispered to me and I shut my eyes in feeling exhausted..
Is this my end??
“Kip, your skill hadn’t increase so much, you shouldn’t have hated me that much, maybe I would have thought you how to keep it close for 8hours..” Fred said with a lopsided smile..
“This is your end!” Bryan stated and made a call…
“Xavier is here…come over with the NSA agents..” He said into the phone and my eyes w¡dened in great shock…
No!!!
This can’t happening!!!
“Boss run away now or never…” Kip whispered to me..
“How??..they would…” I was still talking when a bullet from Rose pierced into my shoulder deeply…
I gro-ned in pain as I stared at her in great shock..
Rose shot at me??
“That is for putting my mother through pain…!” She seethed and I grunted feeling so ashamed and degraded…
How did I turn into a pauper like this???
She walked closer to me and raised my head…
Before I could even see it coming, she gave me a heavy slap which set her cheek on fire…
I fell on the ground in pain from my shoulder and cheek..
The bullet was eating me deeply…
Just then, the siren filled the air…
“The NSA is here already!” I heard Bryan announced…
So at last…I’m down??
