Rosy shouted.

“Yes hire a fiance,that’s the best solution right now”
Nelly said.

“What a ridiculous idea! Did you really know what you said? hire someone that will pretend to be my fiance”
She sounded so unbelievable.

“Rosy there’s nothing wrong in it,just get someone to pretend to be your fiance that’s all besides it will only last for a few days or there about”
She said.

“Nelly I don’t buy this your idea at all”

Nelly tired to make her see reason with her suggestion,
“Hire a man to pretend as your fiance is the greatest idea right now since you don’t to terminate the pregnancy and your mother coming this weekend will an havoc for you if she find out about the pregnancy and how it came about so to avoid that from happening you need a man”

Rosy thought about her idea for a while before agreeing to her suggestion.

“So where an earth are we going to find a man that will be suitable for the job,a man that will not mess up and make things complicated for me?
She asked.

She thought with her hand on her cheek and her finger tipping her cheek,she nodded her head as an idea popped into her brain.

She didn’t complete her statement before Rosy disrupted her.

“Did you just said Frank? How could suggest such a ridiculous idea? I should hire Frank as my fiance? someone I despise the most and you want me to hire her as my fiance,Did you really know when you vomited that trash from your mouth? it is better I accept the outcome of my mother then hiring that Frank as my fiance”
She shouted.

Nelly’s car breakdown on the road and she has been trying to reach her mechanic but to no avail, she tried to stop a cab and even tried to stop a car for a ride but none was working for her,she opened the boot and checked where the problem was coming from but couldn’t figure it out, she became so pressed up.

“What sort of rubbish is this na? What am I going to do? I don’t want to be late for conference meeting”
She shouted in depressed.

She stood almost thirty minutes trying to get someone’s attention for a ride but all to no avail until this good looking guy sighted her from the supermarket he came out from,he cross over to see her.

“Good morning Ma! It seems your car breakdown”
He said.

“Yes,I have been trying to contact my mechanic but he is not picking the call”
She said with a worried tone.

“Did you know what’s wrong with the car?
He asked.

“I have no idea, it’s not up to a week I service it”
She sounded in worried.

“Okay,let me check it”

He checked the car and said at the moment he found out where the problem Is coming from.

“It just a simple problem Ma,the battery tip off”
He said.

“Oh my goodness! I was not able to figure it out”
She sounded.

“Go and start the car,I have fix it”
He said with smiles.

She went and start the car,it started working again,she came down and shouted with so much joy.

“Thank you so much,you are indeed a good person”
She sounded with smiles.

He smiled and said,
“It’s nothing Ma!

She brought out some money from her purse and offered him,
“Please have this,is to show appreciation for what you have done for me had it been you did not showed up I could have been late for a conference meeting”
She said with smiles.

“No! You don’t have to offer me money,I didn’t helped you to be rewarded for it, what I do is something someone would have purposely done so is nothing”
He said.

Nelly smiled and said,
“You are such a good person,if you won’t mind can I get your contact since you rejected my offer I hope I can get this one?

He replied with smiles.

Nelly went to her car and brought her phone,she gave it to him to dialed his number.

“Thank you so much,I will call later today,it’s nice meeting you”
She said with smiles.

He said with smiles.

She said and went to her car.

He stood there watching her to drive out before aheading to his destination.

Later in the evening,his phone rang it was unknown number,he thought the person it could be before picking the call.

📞 Good evening!
He said.

📞 Evening! How are you doing?

📞 Am fine! Please who am I speaking with?

📞 Is me,the lady you helped to fix her car in the morning”

📞 Oh! Good evening Ma! How did the meeting go?
He sounded with smiles.

📞 The meeting went very well,are you less busy to go out for a dinner?

He thought for awhile probably to go or not or give an excuse since he is less busy.

📞 Am less busy Ma!

📞 So you will go out for a dinner with me”

📞 Yes Ma!

📞 Wow! Thank you,I will send you the address of the restaurant”

She ended the call.

The Message popped in,he checked it and it was her message,

“What exactly did this lady want for that it not up to 24 hours she met me and she is taking me out for dinner? I hope I have not enter one chance for helping someone?
He thought.

Nelly walked in to the restaurant,found a comfortable table for two and sat down waiting for him to come.

A waitress walked to her and said,
“Good evening Ma! What did you care for?

“Get me a glass of orange juice”

She said and walked out to get her order.

“This guy is indeed a good person and he will get the job perfectly well, I hope he will accept the job,we don’t have time on our side again,it remaining three days before weekend,Oh God please let him accept the job”
She thought.

The waitress brought the glass of orange juice for her,she was sipping it and waiting for him to come.

Twenty minutes later,he arrived at the restaurant,he walked in and looked around to see Nelly,she saw him and waved at him,he saw her waving and lighted his face with smiles.

“Good evening Ma! Sorry I was late,the traffick jam was so bad”
He said.

“Is okay,please have a sit”

He said and sat down.

“Enough of this Ma,Am not old neither am I getting old besides you meant even senior or we meant be at the same age unit so my name is Nelly”
She said with smiles.

He smiled and said,

“So what will you like to eat? here is the menu”

“I will like to have porridge plantain”

She laughed and said,
“Yeah that’s true but I maintain my body weight especially what I eat”

She said.

He asked.

“Your help I need now is a matter of life and death”

He asked confusingly.

She told him about Rosy and the type of help she need,

He sounded so unbelievable.

“The money Is not the problem but how to pretend to be someone’s fiance,someone you have ever seen before nor even know anything about her,I don’t think if I can do that please”

“Please it will be for a few days once the mother is gone everything will be over then you will go your separate way, please you have to help me out”
She keep on pleading.

“I don’t really understand this thing,your friend is pregnant and she want to introduce another man as her fiance to her mother then what happen to the man that got her pregnant?
He questioned her.

“I can’t give you the details about that but please help us out,am willing to give you anything you want”
She pleaded with her hands folded.

She payed their bills at the cashier and made their way out.

“I will call you tomorrow to know what your decision is”

She said and got into her car while he got a cab.

Rosy has been waiting Nelly to come back and also hopes she will bring a good news,a knock came from outside she rushed to get the door.

“How did it go? Tell me is a good news”
She asked.

She walked and sat down,she took a heavy breath and said,
“It wasn’t an easy one as we thought it will be”

“Meaning that it didn’t go well”

“He should we should give him time to think about it”

“You know we don’t have much time,it remaining three days before weekend”

They went back to the sitting room,a knock came from outside,
“Who could that be?
Nelly asked.

“I don’t know,let me go and get the door”
Rosy went to get the door and her greatest surprise and the shocked of her life it was her mother.

“Mom!
She sounded in shocked.

“Are you surprised to see me?
She asked.

“Of course Mother am surprised,you told me you will be coming on weekend but it’s not yet weekend besides who is that with you? Is that your new driver? You didn’t tell me that you changed your driver”
She said glancing at the guy the mother came with.

“Driver kee! Rose he is your husband Peter”
She said.

She shouted in shocked.
