“Are you coming?” She asked. “I am here,” He said from the other end. She stood up to look around but couldn’t sight him. She saw a car arrives she thought it was Khalid and sit back.

“You just lied, you should just have told her you aren’t coming, “I said to Khalid who was facing the mirror.
“Did I need to tell her that! she will leave when she gets tired” He said pulling his shirt.
“Please, why are you pulling your shirt now, you can do that later when I leave your room.
You know is not good, I can’t be looking at your bare chest” I said and cover my eyes with my palm.
He didn’t say anything but I feel he was coming closer to me.
“Says who, who told you that you can’t look at my chest? if you don’t do that then who will? “He removed my hands from my eyes.
I am so really shy now.
“You are weird. Will you sleep here tonight?”He asked.
“Hmmmm!” I furrow my brow.
“Yeah, can’t you. I want you to sleep here with me” He announced.
I stood looking and stumbled. He brought his face closer to mine. I thought he wanna k-ss me, and I gradually close my eyes.
“Are you scared that something might happen?”He asked. I try to calm down, I couldn’t absorb this. I turned to leave but he dragged me back.
“Please” He begged. I don’t know what to say, but I just need to say something.
“So why aren’t you going to meet the lady again. Don’t you think she might be right about Dan” I said to cover up for myself.
“She’s not important, Dan is my son, can’t you see how smart he is. Just let that be, she will sit there for long. No, less I forget Leo will be there. I told him to go in my place, so he will tell me who the person is since she says she’s a college mate” He said while I just nod my head.
“I think I have to go now, I want to go and check on Dan and Dason. I will be right back” I rushed out of his room.
“Common” He shouted but I didn’t stop. I don’t even know why I was shy? But I am the one who initiates the k-ssing stuff in the morning. Why did I do that? maybe because I was trying to make Evan jealous?
I was still standing in front of his door when my phone beeped, and I brought it out of my trouser’s back pocket. Is an unknown number. I picked it up.
“Hello, who’s this and how do you get my number?”I asked. But I didn’t get an answer.
“Hello why are you not speaking, are you scared”I asked furiously.
“I am not scared, I just wanna listen to your sweet voice, it’s been a while, how are you doing tonight”The person asked.
I have no doubt even if they wake me up in my sleep, I won’t mistake Steve’s voice for someone else.
“Steve, why do you call me? And how did you get my number?”I asked angrily.
“Simple, your number is easy for me to get. But why are you proving to be stubborn?
Why don’t you just surrender yourself before I decide to use force on you? You can come to me yourself If not I will kill your uncle, you know what that means”He threatened from the other end.
“Stay away from me and leave my uncle alone. Don’t try to harm any of my family not even Khalid. I will so deal with you, I vow on my life, you will die if you try to hurt any of them”I yelled at him as he can see me.
“Why do you mention that name, well I think maybe I am destined to always hear that name. But will you do me a favor or save your family? If not you will not like it if Khalid, Dan, and Dason died. I know how awkward that could be”He said from the other end.
“You are cruel, but you shouldn’t worry too much. Just face me Instead, the fight is between me and you. So count them out”I growl.
“That’s smart of you, you can save them by getting married to me. That’s all. You know I and that idiot have clashed in the past. So I shouldn’t have spared him, but if you agree to marry me, I might reconsider him” He said from the other end.
“Get lost”I hang up.
“So he has the gut to call and threatened you”I heard his voice speak from behind.
I faced back to look at him.
“You shouldn’t worry, I will be okay Steve isn’t a threat”I lied knowing I was a bit scared.
“I can see you are scared, you are scared of what he will do but he can’t do anything to hurt us. I think is time I let you know what happened between us, I never wrong him but he refused to understand, so If I take action against him he would hate me more than the hated me before “Khalid said furiously.
I can see how angry he was. I hugged him tightly crying.
“I am scared” I cried as he stroked my hair.
His phone rang, at first, I thought it was Steve.
“Leo, so what’s up. Who was the person”He asked why I look into his eyes without disengaging the hug
He stops talking which means Leo is the one doing the talking from the other end.
“So, you are not able to see her face. No problem. Thanks alot, you can go home. And it will be better for you If you follow my advice and asked Clara out before it’s too late” He said to Leo before hanging up.
He carried me into his room and locked the door from in,side. He played with me on his bed and went to sit Infront of his mirror.
I stand up and stroll to him. His eyes were teary, he looks like someone who wanna explore his tears.
“Girl is what caused our clash” He begins.

“Yo bro, you mustn’t be serious, don’t tell me you are quitting the life of a playboy because of the girl who hasn’t accepted you. You’ve not even proposed to her”Khalid said as he and Steve walked down the street with their backpack by their back.
They were coming from his school.
“I swear down, I didn’t find Interest in girls again since I have known her. I am madly in love with her. But I don’t know how to meet her in person” Steve said, as Khalid mock him.
“I know you deserve to mock me but that’s the truth,” Steve said walking faster.
“Common bro, just kidding. If they even told me you will change I won’t have believed it. I don’t know anything about love but it could be so funny” Khalid said.
“Hey, guys”A boy of almost their age group greeted. Steve hissed angrily and wanted to walk away but Khalid asked him to wait.
As the boy walked closer to them.
“I am Leo, I always see you and your friend, I am envying your guy’s friendsh¡p. I wish I could be one of you. Please”He pleaded.
“That can’t work, we don’t need you amidst us. The two of us are enough”Steve disagrees.
“Bro chill. Well, I am Khalid. You have my number we can hang up later”Khalid input his number on Leo’s phone.
Steve leave, and Khalid runs after him.
“You are truly a mad guy, like what the f-ck! You know that boy always watches us every day, he just wanna be a friend but you just blasted him in that way”Khalid tries to correct him.
“Khalid, can you help me plan a way to make her hang out with me? I mean on a date” Steve asked. “What!”He exclaimed.
