Episode 13
Li and Tasha shot repeatedly on the moving car towards them, they shattered the car’s mirrors. Scorpion rolled off from the car’s front seat rolling speedily gr–ning in pains as he landed on a low grasses close to the bush wincing in pains.
Tasha and Li moved away from the middle of the road creating space for the moving car that sped pass them and jammed an electrical pole. Scorpion stretched his hand and grabbed a grass and utter some words before disappearing, Tasha and Li approached were he had rolled off from the car with torches in their hands. They traced blood on the tarred road to the low grasses, and discovered he has left.
Scorpion appeared in his room,
He limped weakly to his bed and sat on it, “aahh!” He touch his forehead and find out that he is bleeding.
He stood up to switch on the lights in his room,
the light came up and he was surprised to see white Angels girls surrounds him with guns.
“My general” Eva hailed him, she sat on the only sofa in the room smoking. The moment he saw Eva, he ran to the wall and slapped his palm thrice uttering words.
His eyes w¡den when what he did didn’t produce the desired outcome.
Eva and her girls started laughing at him, as he punched the wall in frustration.
“No place to run” Eva told him, he turned back and looked at her angrily.
“Just beg for mercy” she told him, he spitted on the floor.
“I, general Scorpion won’t bow to you and no man, a sailor don’t bow to Thor ’cause his sh¡p is sinking!” He said and beats his chest in anger.
“Bla bla bla, you are too boring”, Eva said and yawned, she shot at him. He shifted backward without the bullet ‘causing any harm on his skin, he smiled and Eva chuckled.
She took a red piece of clothe and wave in his direction thrice, she shot him on his chest “aahh!” He gr–ned in pain, she shot repeatedly at him as he refused to make any noise. She shot him several times before she left with her girls.
He laid on the floor lifelessly his blood forming pool around him.

In one of the lecture hall in permanent lecture site, Jenny and Smile sat on one of the desk with books before them.
“Eva rescued me from the kidnappers” Smile told Jenny after she has asked him about the rumors she heard in school.
“How?” She asked him to talk more.
“She only rescued me” he replied her and shrugged, Jenny gave up when she realized he isn’t going to say more.
“Please, Smile avoid that Eva. I heard she smokes and fornicate, that girl is a real sinner, please stay away far from her” Jenny begged holding his hand as they sat facing each other.
“Jen. Thou shall not judge” smile retorted inhaling sharply that he has just defended Eva, Jenny was surprised the way he rebuked her.
“Sorry, am just tired” he told her and gathered his books and left the hall, Jenny watched him leave silently.

Cars drove slowly and parked close to a gate, Eva stepped down from the car with gun, with Li and Tasha. Her girls came down from the other cars, she kicked the gate little pathway and it opened easily, she walks in gingerly with Li and Tasha behind her.
Her girls loaded with guns followed from behind, they search the house rooms and find it empty. “Slaymama, don run!” Li said and s¢ræmed in joy.
Eva and her girls left the compound after they are done searching the house.

Eva hasn’t been in school for sometime, she came to school on the first day of revision to receive lecture. She drove under the tree in the permanent lecture site and parked her car.
Smile was on the corridor of the lecture hall, he smiled when he noticed her car. She wore a dark shade and her hairs neatly plaited behind flow to her mid-w–st, cladded with white and a Jean trouser with white canvas.
Smile wore a dazzling smile on her face, she climbed the corridor “hi” Smile greeted grinning, she pretended like she didn’t hear or see him. She entered the lecture room leaving Smile rooted in the s₱0t in surprise, Smile joined her in the lecture hall. Through out the lecture his attention was on Eva, he couldn’t get her off his mind.
Immediately the lecturer stepped out, Eva followed. Smile hurried up to catch up with Eva, he stepped out of the hall’s corridor look left and right and didn’t see Eva. He walked to the other end to check if her car is there, he inhaled sharply when he didn’t see her car there.

Cyril was walking to the hostel when he sighted Hannah in the midst of her friends, he quickly turned to elude her. “Cyril!” Hannah called his name and ran towards him.
“Hannah, how far na?” He asked, she simply shrugged and glared at him.
“You didn’t give Smile the number, I didn’t receive any call or WhatsApp message from him. That is what I paid you for” she yelled at him angrily.
Cyril started laughing, she didn’t find it funny.
“Calm down, you only paid for registration na” he told her chuckling.
“What did you just say?” She asked him.
“You heard me” he replied and hissed then walked away, she stood there glaring at him.
A car drove crazily past Hannah who jumped out of the road and landed in the garden, a loud music is playing out of the car’s speakers. The car parked at the s₱0t Eva formerly occupied.
And a boy with tattoo all over his body stepped down from the car with gun in his hand, he wore only trouser and chains all over his nape. His trouser band didn’t reach his w–st, his boxer was the one concealing his bare buttocks.
“General Igbudu is back!” He shouted and shot thrice in the air, people scampered away in freight. Boys on red appeared around the campus, and headed to were he is.

Cyril ran into his hostel room breathing and sweating heavily, he opened the door and saw Smile sleeping calmly. He hissed and unbuttoned his shirt.
*In the dream*
Smile was smiling as he stared at a direction, he closed and opened his eyes. His smile turned into frown when someone he didn’t recognize brought out a gun behind Eva, “Hadija, run!” He shouted at her.
Eva stopped dancing and looked at Smile in confusion, a loud gun shot was heard behind her. Smile caught her before she could fall and held her in his hands, “Eva, please wake up!” He begged tapping her cheek.

Cyril tapped Smile who was sleeping quietly on his bed, “wake up! Wake up there!!” He shouted at Smile, who almost jumped out of his bed shouting “Eva!!”.

Episode 14
Smile jerked up from his bed making Cyril to laugh at him, his eyes hold fear. Beads of sweats formed on his forehead, he stood up from his bed and went out to the second floor balcony.
He dialed a number and placed a call to Eva. There was no response from the other end.
“Pick Eva!” He mumbled silently to himself.
He so much fear his own dream, he typed a message and sent it to Eva. He went in,side his hostel room and prayed.
In the evening he came out of the hostel, he walked down to the university stadium. When the gate keepers saw him, they let him in ’cause of Eva.
He sat on the field silently and waited for Eva to come, he kept on turning his head around to see if she has arrived.
He stayed there for an hour, it was getting dark but he didn’t intend going back to the hostel.
“You don’t give up, do you?” Eva said behind sitting Smile, he quickly stood up with wide smile plastered on his face.
“Am sorry for disturbing you” he replied, she simply shrugged.
“So, why am I here?” He asked him walking closer and squatted on the field. “I dreamt were you were shot, I was so terrified and it was so real, it felt like you are gone” Smile blurted out confusingly, Eva started laughing.
He looked at her in confusion “what is funny?” He asked her, she simply shake her head and stood up properly, looking very serious.
“Do you love me?” She asked him, the question was a shock to Smile who went mute immediately. “I don’t know” he replied her. She turned and walked away “call me when you are a man” she told him and left the place. Smile stood there for sometime before he walked away.

A car drove crazily in,side a compound, someone at the back seat came down from the car and shot thrice in the air “call me Igbudu” he said and shot once again in the air.
Boys on red came out of different corners of the house to welcome him, “Igbudu leee!” They hailed him.
He dragged the cigarette and puffed out smokes that dangled on his face, “you see this town, Igbudu has come” he said and shot thrice again in the air. He climbed the car and stood on it, he shot once again in the air “we go party tire” he said and shot once again in the air.
He jumped down from the car and went in,side the house accompanied with two rugged looking guys, alcoholic drinks were distributed to his boys with cigarettes.
Igbudu entered a room and removed the jacket he wore, he took a triangular little bag filled with white substance from his bed head.
He tore it with a short knife and emptied it on a saucer that it is on a table beside the bed, he bent and sniff it. Hitting his head with his hand anytime he raised his head up, one of his guy with him in the room. His back rested on the wall looking at him, “you wan party without white Angels?” He asked Igbudu raising his eyebrows up.
“Yeeee! Eva my baby, call her” he replied and kept on sniffing the white substance, the mancho guy whose back is on the wall called Eva.

Li pushed open the door and stepped in, she show Eva on her bed reading with books scattered on the bed. She sat on the bed and faced her friend who is busy with her books.
“You don hear say, Igbudu dey town?” Li asked Eva. “You say?” Tasha asked she overhead Li while she was opening the door, Eva didn’t raise her head she acted like she never heard what they were saying.
“Eva honey is back” Li replied Tasha and both of them laughed, Eva raised her head and glared at them. “That was then, that guy no go fit be my boyfriend, em dey even call me” she took the phone and displayed the screen to their faces, both of them shivered.
“Go meet am, that guy no normal oh” Tasha begged, she is tired of incessant troubles. Eva ignored her and busy herself with what she was doing.

After Smile was done writing examination for the day which was the last paper for the semester for his department, he walked to Eva’s car and waited.
After some minutes Eva came out of the hall and saw him, she smiled graciously at him.
“Hey, Smile” she said to him.
Smile scratched his head nervously, “hey, Eva” he replied and exhaled.
“Do you want to tell me something?” Eva asked him sweetly, beads of sweat started forming on his forehead.
“Yes, I… I. . I..” Smile stuttered, Eva couldn’t help it, she laughed.
“Tell me when second semester starts next week, have to go” she told him and pecked him, she entered her car and drove away. Smile waved goodbye to her.
Eva hasn’t gone far when she received a call from her dad, “hello, father” she said into the receiver.
“Don’t father me” he replied Eva and she giggled. “Hadija, when are you coming home?” He asked Eva with his baritone voice.
“Tomorrow, sir” she said and grinned, “I missed you sweet” he told her. “Am on the wheel dad” she replied him, “sorry honey” he replied and ended the call, Eva chuckled.

A car drove crazily into the compound when one of Eva’s girls opened the gate, Igbudu came down from the car hurriedly looking angry. He held a gun in his hand with cigarettes betwixt his l-ips, he removed the cigarette “Eva!!” He thundered.
He sighted her on the pool side, he walked swiftly to where Eva is. She wore bikini and her legs deep in the swimming pool, she was swinging her legs in,side the water.
“Na me you dey ignore” he yelled at her, Eva didn’t even bother looking back at him. She ignored him completely.
“Gbuuu!” Gun shot was heard.
And the swimming pool water was mixed with blood.
