LUIS POV
“So what do you say your Majesty?” He asked wanting to hear my answer
I thought about it for a while, I would have given him a straight answer if the person with them was the real Mitchell
But I can’t and am sure that Mitchell wouldn’t like it if she found out that she would be marrying me
It had been one of the reason she didn’t want to come and if she find out that Am being forced to marry her then she would leave and that is something I don’t want
“Why is it taking you so long to answer your Majesty,Does marrying my daughter burdens you a lot?” He asked
“No,No,I was just……She might not want to marry me?”
“What are you saying? Mitchell has been dreaming of the day you make her your queen,I watched all this silently and have waited patiently for you to take the step but it seems like you just want to continue fooling her” He said now looking a bit angry
“Am not fooling any one,I just want to give her more time” I said
“Fine then,It seems your not ready to marry her yet your majesty,I will just have to cancel the wh0le thing and then send her off ” He said standing up
“But …….”
“With all due respect your majesty,You have made it clear that you want nothing to do with our daughter and so its Time that she has nothing to do with you too,Right?” He asked
“But she is my bethroed”
“A bethroed you only want to keep toying with,Its best that we end this farce and I send her to some where she can get to forget you Your majesty” He replied
“I will be taking the real Mitchell identity and I don’t want to marry you”
Mitchell words kept coming back to me,As much as I want to respect her decision not to marry me,I just can’t do it
Though she has asked me to stay away,I just can’t watch her father take her away from me
I can’t let her go,I thought silently
“Am sorry Mitchell” I whispered
“Wait!” I said and that made him stop
“Yes your majesty!” He replied giving me a smile
“Does .marrying your daughter Next week too soon” I asked
He gave a triumphant before replying “it wouldn’t be too soon infact its the perfect time to marry her” He said smiling
“Then so be it,Our wedding will take place soon” I said
“Very well then,I will tell Mitchell about it”
“No don’t! I will do it myself,Under no circ-mstances must you tell her okay” I said and he nodded gently before leaving the study
I sighed as I stared at the door,I know that she would be angry but I just can’t refuse
Its better to have her by my side than for them to take her away,I thought trying to convince myself that that is why have agreed to marry her
‘Liar, you agreed to marry her because you want her here with you’ My conscience mocked me silently
“Yes,I do want her here with me ” I muttered to myself and I hope that she agrees to it too
MITCHELL POV
“Am saying the truth,The king didnt touch me ” I answered for the tenth time
“I know you Mitchell,You are so crazy about the king that your willing to do anything and you two were missing for about six hours,He might have made a pass at you and you being in love would have done anything to please him” Mitchell mom said
“Only your daughter will be willing to do that,Not me” I muttered gently
“What did you say?”
“That I will never do such a thing, I might be in Love with the king but I won’t let him make use of my body” I answered
She walked close to me and held both my cheek
“Am sorry if am being a busy body but am really worried about you, The king is a big time womaniser and I won’t want you to get hurt” She said
“I won’t mom,Just trust me” I responded lightly calling her mom for the first time
At least Luis was right about something.
In this world I have some people who care for me and love me
It made me feel good and also bad at the same time
This is some one else life am taking, I found out that while we were in my world the real Mitchell of this world never showed up,Which makes me wonder where she could be
I just hope that when all this is over,The real Mitchell will be come back safely
The door opened and peter walked in bowing gently before starring at me
“You will have to come with us,The king wishes to speak to you” He said
“Go to him,I will just go and talk to your father,I wonder where he might Have gone to” She said before walking out
Following peter, We went straight to his study
I got him and saw him standing by the window
“You called for me?” I asked,Hoping that he had at least find a solution
” Yes I did, Have a seat”He said and gently I sat down on one of the empty chairs
“What’s going on Luis?” I asked after seeing the serious look on his face
” Your father…….I mean Mitchell father just finished speaking to me a while ago ”
“And what did you two talk about?”
“About our marriage” He responded
“Marriage? What did you say?” I asked
“I had no option than to tell him that I will marry you” He said
“You did what?”
“I had to Mitchell,He said that I was taking too long to marry you and that if I wouldn’t marry you soon, He will take you away”
“Then why don’t you just let him take me away,Why say yes to the proposal? This is getting much worse Luis” I said feeling nervous and scared
“Marrying me is the safest option Mitchell” He said
“But have you thought of the real Mitchell, What if have married you and then she shows up,What would we do then?” I asked
“But she is not here,Your the one here……”
“But am not the real Mitchell Luis, Am not their real child,Am not the one your suppose to marry and am certainly not the one you want right now, You just want to marry me to cover up your every thing” I said
“Your right when you say that Am marrying you to cover everything and your very much wrong in saying that your not the one I want ”
“What does that mean?” I asked
“That I know who is in front of me,Who I decided to marry and that person is you Mitchell,The Mitchell from another world” He said
I didn’t know why but my heart is beating fast at just hearing his confession.
UNKNOWN POV
“I wonder when she will wake up?”🚺
” Its been weeks already and she hasn’t woken up yet”🚺
“Shouldn’t we just try to contact her family”🚺
“That would have been easy if I had known who her family were”🚺
“Poor thing, She is all alone without her family and no one beside her,I pity her”🚺
“Let’s just pray that she wakes up soon and tell us who she is!” The lady said and they both starred at the young frail lady who was unconscious on the bed…………….
