CHAPTER 80… 🌹

“K-iss me dami….” she immediately demanded and Damien eyes w¡dened…

Before he could reply, Mira smashed her l-ips on his taking him by surprise. He could taste the alcohol in her mouth. Her eyes were closed but his wasn’t. He was still in shocked. Mira grabbed his face and deepened the k-iss and soon Damien found himself k-issing her back.

“Dami” she m-0aned against his l-ips. That’s it, he lost it. She was doing something and he couldn’t explain what. Her conscience kept telling him to stop and push her away but he couldn’t for some reason.

He grabbed her w-aist and took the lead in the k-iss bringing her down from the bed. Then Ezekiel appeared in his mind.

He immediately pushed Mira away and she fell on the bed. He turned around and walked into the bathroom immediately. He was feeling guilty already. He knew Ezekiel really liked her and Mira liked him back yet he did this. He felt as if he had just betrayed his brother

“She only did this cause she’s drunk” he muttered to himself as the shower continued pouring on him. He was trying to lessen his guilt. Besides Mira won’t remember this by tomorrow.

He sighed before turning off the shower and he got out of the shower and found Mira on the bed fast asleep.

He sighed.
★★NEXT MORNING★★

Mira got out of the bed having a severe headache. She held her head as she felt herself feeling dizzy.

“Hangouts are the worst” she muttered in pain as she got down from bed .

She looked around but couldn’t sight her boss anywhere. She walked to the dressing mirror examining herself. Her hair looked like a nest for birds. She could also find drools on her cheeks . Si

“Since when did I become a drooler?” She asked herself sadly. That was when she noticed her l-ips were slightly swollen. She touched them wondering what made them swell.

“Hope I didn’t do anything stupid last night?” She tried recalling what happened last night but her brain refused to cooperate with her to remember what happened.

She waved it off and entered the bathroom to freshen up. Today was the day the ought to leave New Zealand as they were done with the contract.

Damiks finally turned on his phone after two days of it being off. He wanted to just have peace of mind for those two days. He actually came here for a short holiday just to rest away from all his problems especially the problem of sazuki being after his life.

After replying important messages,he entered social media and he eyes almost popped out of it’s socket.

It was a trending news of someone declaring Ezekiel as her man. Damien thought it just happened recently but seeing the duration which was two days ago,he became curious and checked out the pictures and videos uploaded. He was even more surprised to see that it was Mira.

“How dare you touch my man?” The video resounded and he scoffed switching off his phone immediately. Maybe he shouldn’t have on his phone after all.

“Boss. Sir Ezekiel wants to speak to you” one of his guards approached him and he took the phone from his hand answering the call.

“Are you okay Damien?” He asked immediately Damien said hello.

“Am fine bro….”

“Why didn’t you tell me about the car…?? And most importantly,why was your phone switched off all these days.? What were thinking..?? We’ve been sick and worried about you.” Ezekiel scolded immediately and Damien gr-0aned inwardly.

“Am fine. Nothing happened to me” he said .

“What about Mira. ?? Did she get hurt too?” He asked and just then, Mira came down dressed in jeans and white top.
Damien rolled his eyes and looked away from her direction.

“She’s perfectly fine. We’re both fine” he said trying to control the himself from being angry. Must Ezekiel always think about her.

“Are you sure? Is she there?her phone is switched off. Can you..”

” I said she is fine” damien suddenly yelled at Ezekiel. Mira froze on the stop hearing him tell.

“Am sorry..I was just worried about her” Ezekiel explained.

” You know what… we’ll soon be boarding a plane back to America so when you see her,you can ask her these annoying questions yourself” he said annoyed and cut the call not minding it was his senior brother he hung up on.

Mira got closer to him and was about to speak but Damien interrupted.

“Don’t say a word. We are leaving now. Just grab your stuffs and let’s leave” he said coldly to her and walked away.

Mira became confused. She thought they were on good terms because of yesterday but it seems she was wrong. He has gone back to his previous attitude towards her.

Mira went up immediately, grabbed her bag since it was already packed and came down .
She couldn’t find Damien anywhere. Just his guards only.

“Have you seen sir?” She asked one of them

“He’s talking with a client who just showed up” the man replied keeping a straight face and Mira nodded.

She looked around the hotel and decided to take one more stroll everywhere before she leaves.

“This is the only place I haven’t say goodbye to” she stared at the huge swimming pool. No one was there except her.

She had always loved water especially pools that’s why she loved the pool back at the Lockharts Mansion but unfortunately for her,she couldn’t swim..it was a big disappointment to her cause she loved water and really wished she could swim. But no one taught her.

She finally decided to go but then someone pushed her and she fell into the pool.

She was struggling to keep herself above the water but she couldn’t.

“Help … Me… Is someone there?” She yelled but as water was Gradually entering her mouth. She struggled to float.

“Damien… Please help me” she yelled again but still no response. She couldn’t keep up flapping her hands and legs anymore. She could feel herself giving up as she felt heavy from swallowing so much water.

“Help” she whispered before her head finally went under water.

She watched her behind the pillar struggling to breath in the water and soon, she saw Mira had finally stopped breathing.

She immediately brought out her phone and dialled someone.

“Hello. …. Is it done?” The person on the other line asked.

“Yes.. I’ve done as you said.. she will soon drown in the water”
