CHAPTER 10

Gwennie’s POV

.
Jeez
what’s wrong with me…why the hell am I feeling this way,
what’s happening..
I smiled slightly and pulled the boy’s hand off my wrist..
once my hand met his..I felt
I felt something that I can’t explain..
strange..huh
I sluggishly pulled open my guitar bag and picked up my piece of map..
might be of help.
“Let’s go see the um, bathroom first…very important” I said and moved ahead of him outside the class..
he trailed behind me with his hand tucked in his pocket..
we walked side by side and I tried keeping my gaze to the ground or the air in order not to steal glances at him..
“So this is the bathroom… for male” I said as I gestured with my hand..
“So, where’s the female’s” he asked.
Huh..
why’s he asking that..
“I just wanted to know if the males and females share same bathroom” he said probably reading my thoughts or face expression..
I chuckled slightly.
“Not at all..actually it stays on both sides, the male toilet stays on this side while the female is by the left” I said still with gestures..
“Oh…I get it now” he said.
“So next I’ll um..we’ll go check out the cafeteria” I said.
pheeww..

I don’t even know much about this tour stuff..
how can the old lady do this to me.
“OK” he said and I smiled.
I led him to the open tree shade then the medium sized cafeteria hall almost filled with so many student..
some talking
others looking
and most eating..
I sighted Hailey and Justin on the farther end in the ‘special seat’ with two other girls with them..
ugh..
one of those two could’ve been me..especially the one sitting so close to Justin.
I watched him smiled at her..
oh..geez
it was heartbreaking.
I gulped..
maybe I should just let them be..they seem to be enjoying lunch without me..
Somehow I felt really sad..Justin didn’t even smile at me today and he had to give ’em to another girl..
awww!
I faced the whatever dude which name I didn’t even care to know and smiled falsely..
“So this is the cafeteria..it’s where we have our lunch during b..
“Are those really necessary..I attended high school too” he said and I smiled..
“Right..so we’ll just go to the next place which happens to be umm..the umm..
I scratched my hair which wasn’t itchy at all and smiled nervously..
“We’ll see what it is when we get there” I said and chuckled..
I took one last glance at ‘my friends’ then headed out of the cafeteria with the new guy..
we moved to the main school building and took the stairs..we turned to a lane and moved straight, I saw a door which was Registration centre (R.C)
OK..I’ve been here so I should probably know what it’s all about.
I faced the guy who wore a questioning look.
“So this is..

“The registration centre..it’s where newbies who wanna be part of this musical school go to register and get approved…I was here 3 hours ago” he said and I smiled nervously.
what to do..
“Right..I totally forgot, let’s move to the next place” I said
I unwrapped my map and peered into it..
I saw direction to another room and I smiled then faced him..
“Don’t you have a map?” I asked..
“Nope..wasn’t given one” he said and I nodded..
“Kay…we’ll go to the practical room next” I said then led the way..
I took the stairs by the left then walked through the lane..passing a group of student I walked over to another land then passed the stairs to the last floor and then onto another lane that had several doors on its left..
wow..
I didn’t know this school really had so many rooms..and doors..maybe because I always stayed at the first floor..
I took a quick peek at my map and turned the knob of the third door..it flew open and I walked in with ….
I closed the door behind us and flapped my hands..
I quickly scanned the room and saw lots of musical instruments on one side and many flyers and some art sketch.
“So um…

“Guy” he said
huh.
“Yeah..I know you’re a guy, I was asking of your name” I said
“Guy”
“OK..this isn’t some kinda joke..I al..
I paused “wait your name’s Guy?” I said and he nodded with a slight smile..
“Guy Showman” he said..
gee..
really, I get it all now
that was why the annoying teacher kept referring to him as Guy.
cool name tho..
“oh my…I’m so sorry, I didn’t know”
“It’s fine” he said..
“So guy..this is the practical room” I said and he nodded and adjusted his tuba bag..
“What’s it for?” he asked..
I don’t know ..I’m a newbie as well..
I checked the map guide and what it was..
“Oh..it’s for practice, it’s where we have musical practice, voice training, vocal cord checking and sometimes exams or tests” I said and he nodded.
“Wow…I never knew exams are being conducted here as well..it’s more like a school now” he said..
well, neither do I..
so many things I didn’t know after all.
“well they are…so let’s move to the next and final place for now so we’d have time to eat” I said and led him out then close the door after me..
I checked my map and moved to the final door in the lane that read “Concert hall”..
I sighed and turned the knob then walked in with him..
“So this is the concert hall and that’ll be all for now” I said moving out but he held me on my wrist..
oh no..
OK..one thing I’m definitely sure about is that I don’t love this dude, there’s no way I can I mean why do I keep having those crazy tingle each time we make contacts..i don’t even feel anything deep for him..
Justin’s the only that makes me feel this way…he’s the only one I can admit to myself that I love..
“What’s this one for?” he asked and I gave him a long annoying look then smiled falsely.
so much for tour
“Well it’s a concert room and it’s for concerts OK?” I said not sure of my own self.
“So we also have concerts in this school?” he asked..
wait..do we..
seriously I don’t even know..
“We sure do” I responded and made to move again but he held me and I gently jerked my hand away..
“May I know your name?” he asked.
“Gwen..I’m Gwen” I said.
“It’s beautiful..”
I gave him a questioning look..
“I mean your name’s beautiful” he said softly..

“O-kay…thanks” I simple said..
our eyes met and he suddenly started walking more closer to me..I looked at him confusingly but he kept coming..
I was too transfixed to move.
what’s he doing..
I started moving backwards finally getting my feet and realizing myself but he kept coming forward until I hit the door with my back..
he caged me to the door..placing both hands on the door…our faces were just inches away.
I gulped really hærd and blinked nervously..
this scene was totally awkward and it was something I wasn’t ready for….at all..
He bent his face to mine and our eyes locked .
oh Guy..what the f-ck are you doing??????

CHAPTER 11

Gwennie’s POV

His hand slowly moved to my hair and I felt some hair strands shift and then a pull, he pulled away and shifted..
wait..what just happened..
“You had grass on your hair” he said waving a thick green elephant grass to my face..
huh
how’d I get those and geez he did all those awkward moves coz of a stupid grass..he could’ve just told me rather than making me almost freak out from suffocation..
“Oh..umm thanks..”
“Sorry if I acted a little bit silly” he said.

indeed.
“It’s nothing really..let’s just go to the cafeteria” I said and immediately dashed out before him..
I hurried my race to the stairs and ran down it..
I rested my back on a wall once I got to the down floor..
That was so close..I almost thought he wanted to-
“Hey Gwen..you’re really fast” he said and I breathed out..
“Maybe I guess I’m just really hungry..I’ll see you in class” I said.
“um..can’t we just like walk together, I’m going there too” he said..
oh please..
“OK then” I said .
we walked through the grassy lane then to the cafeteria hall which was now almost scanty..
I sighted Hailey, Justin and those two girls still in that exact seat..
I looked at Guy..
“I’ll go meet my friends..you can help yourself” I said..
“I was thinking I could join you guys..I’m still kinda strange to people” he said..

well duh..you’re strange to me too..
really strange..
back there you almost freaked me out..
“OK..I’m sure my friends wouldn’t mind” I said and moved to them with him behind me..
“Hey guys” I said and took a seat..
Guy also took one beside me.
“Hey Gwen..I got you two burgers” Hailey said waving a nylon bag at me.
“Thanks best..” I said..I opened the bag and took a burger from it then a huge bite..
I looked at Justin but his eyes weren’t even on me but the girl.
I felt a leg on mine and I looked at Hailey whose eyes was on mine..she nudged her head towards Guy and I gave her a questioning look..
huh..

She narrowed her eyes at him again then rolled it round..like she was looking at everyone in the cafeteria…it was a sign.
And I guess I understand now.
I silently cleared my throat..
“Um Guy..I’ll like you to meet my friends..over there’s Hailey…” I said watching Hailey smile as he took her hands.
“Hey Guy..nice to meet you” Hailey said with a tiny or rather Flirty voice that I knew she didn’t had.
“Nice to meet you too Hailey..you’re really pretty” he said with a smile..
“Ow! Thanks” Hailey said with a blushing smile..

Aww..so creepy.
But I honestly felt a chemistry back there with those two..and Hailey..
Do you really do this with all guys..
“And that’s Justin..he’s um..my friend” I said.
“Hey man” Guy said as he stretched his hand for a shake..Justin intently stared at him then at me then at him again before taking his hand with a smile which I felt wasn’t sincere.
I helped myself with a sip from Hailey’s smoothie.
“And these are Tamara and Lois..Tamara, Lois..Gwen and Guy” Hailey completed..
Guy shared a handshake with the both girls while I just smiled friendly at them.

“Aww..Guy you’re so cute” Tamara said and I rolled my eyes..
Justin’s right here girl..if Guy’s cute then what’d you say about Justin, he’s damn close to a Greek god.
Justin suddenly stood up and pick up his cup of milkshake.
“I’ll be in class” he said and I looked at him..
Why’s he leaving when I just got here.
“But why..we still have like three more minutes until break’s over” I said suddenly not being able to fight the silent treatment anymore.
“Um..I know but my head’s aching, guess I could use some rest” he said and I don’t know how or why i scented a lie in that sentence.
“No wonder Jenkins…you acted really weird all through today” Hailey said.
“For the last time Hailey it’s Justin” he corrected..or warned coz I was pretty sure Hailey said that on purpose.
“Who cares” she said with outstretched palms.
“I think you should go to the clinic I mean who knows it might be something serious..I could go with you if you want” I said..
“Um..that won’t be necessary Gwen, I’ll just rest in class and besides you still have a guy to tour..I’ll be fine” he said.

“I’ll go with you to the class then” Lois said and stood up..
That flirting c*ck-face.
“Oh..sure, thanks” he said and I licked my lower l-ips and s-ckled on it..so disheartening.
he just rejected me and accepted her..
Could there be something between them..
Just then we heard the bell jingle and that only means one thing..
Break is over.
“Looks like we’ll be going together after all” I said standing up and grabbing my wrapped Burger.
“Ugh..seriously, jingling bells like we’re kindergartens” Tamara said and I smiled..
“It’s a school tams..music school” I said.
They all followed in standing up and we head out of the cafeteria..we got to the large door and just then I sighted Alex, a girl..wait, it was that girl.. the crazy girl he made out with in the restroom just yesterday, I just can’t forget her bitchy face and those crazy flirting
voice that was pleading crazily for more… they were both walking toward the door as well..
And-
“Gwen I think this fell from you” I heard Lois voice from behind and I faced back…then looked at her hand pointing to the ground
“Wha….

My voice trailed off and I almost jumped out of my skin when I saw the yellow sock I placed on my b-ob earlier today neatly folded and laying on the floor..
Oh no..this is so not happening..
I slowly looked up and noticed that all eyes were now on me and when I say all eyes I mean..Justin, Hailey, Lois, Guy and..oh please
Alex!
His look was what terrified me most, he was intently staring at the sock with what I could say was amusement.
I looked down at my chest and noticed that one of my br-ast was now bigger than the other.
I gulped hærd and looked one by one at the faces staring at me..
Hailey bent and picked up the sock then unrolled it.
“It looks like a sock” she said.
“Well that’s coz it is a sock” Tamara said.

I looked over at Justin and his eye
were now confusingly looking at me.
Then slowly I turned to Alex..whose eyes were no more on the floor but on my ..
Bre-st..
Geez..I’m sure he must’ve found it out by now..
Why did I even listen to him..why..? And now I’m gonna be publicly embarrassed coz I’m pretty sure I’ll be forced to give reason as to why I’m with just a pair of sock and where it fell from and then my name will definitely move round the school as ‘the artificial girl who needed bigger b-obs and had to use a sock’..

Yikes..!
I shuddered at the thought..
Alex’s eye went up to me and I saw a stupid annoying smirk at the corner of his l-ips..
I’m so gonna slap those crazy stupid butt cheeks once I’m done explaining here.
“Gwen…is it yours?” I heard hailey’s voice..
I kept mute and gulped again nervously almost not feeling my saliva anymore.
“Is it?” Lois followed and I licked my lower l-ips..
“It’s m..
“It’s mine”
I heard a voice cutting mine off and I slowly faced him..
Huh..
“I own the sock” he said again making my eye go wide open..
