11:00, Lydia finally let me go to bed by 11:00 . How long will my life be so painful? life with my step mom has been hell! She didn’t even have plans of letting me go until I lied, i had to tell her that my period showed up and she had to let me go because the entire neighbourhood knows that odeya has bad cramps!

I tried lying on my bed when I received a text from rose, i looked Into her window and her room lights where shining brightly; its obvious she is missing me.I rushed out of my room, i’d rather sleep with my bestie than stay alone in this heaven forsaken room thinking about Lydia.

” what are you looking at?”I asked her because she was deeply engrossed in her laptop
“Odeya come closer,check out this headline”she said adjusting on her bed.
“Dream high school isn’t a school , rather it is ‘hell.” These where the last words of min soo, senior high student of dreame high school who just committed suicide today;she is just 18. in a white paper min soo had boldly written “girlfriends?”..no, it should be “girl-devils.” The industry behind “girlfriends” had taken the issue seriously.
” a student commits suicide out of depression, but she blames it on a female band of girls juzt her age; Is the world really going to believe that lie?” These where the words of Richærd, General manager of v entertainment.

“Odeya, dreame high school is really scary” rose said.
“I don’t really care, odeya doesn’t go to school and its obvious I never will.I am just really really sorry for min soo.”i said.
“Me too,”she said.
My phone sparkled and I saw a text, since 8pm. I opened up and it was The manager our dept in blinkz hotels/suites.
Odeya there will be a show on Saturday night at the hall,you have been chosen as one of the waiters.
“Ok sir”I repiled.
” show?”rose asked
“Yes Saturday night.”I said
She hastily browsed it and it previewed.
Lenora Thompson will be seen live at blinkz on Saturday night in honour of the presidents wife’s birthday.
I smiled and hugged rose tight,Lenora Is my role model.
“I can’t believe am going to watch Lenora sing ” i said.
“Better prepare to look good,the show is still a bit far”she said.
“Silly u, am on the waiting list”I said and she smiled.

Dreame released a song today in honour of the commoner min soo’s death, not only that;Bryan personally honored the family for their loss.

“This is all formalities, the boyfriends and girlfriends know exactly what happened to that commoner. The Idea of scholarsh¡p in dreame high is a total failure cos the only 3 common students who where admitted had a bad story to tell;2 committed suicide while one ran away. I believe I am speaking for the General populace when I say that we commoners are no longer interested in dreane high,its a school for the rich and nothing can change that. so the scholarsh¡p which just started has to end.”he said.

. The board behind dreame high school had already marked today as the very end of the new scholarsh¡p into dreame high school.

“Are the boyfriends really that bad?”I asked her.
” I guess,”she said.
” so u texted, what did you want me to do for you?” I asked
” i wanted you too–” I heard my room bell oh no!! I told Lydia I was sleeping.
I hastily stood up and rushed out.
” odeya good night.
” bye.

I pulled into my window and Lydia was standing there with her face like Lydia the killer
” you told me you got your period and u were weak and sleepy,am i right?” she asked.
“Well I just —
“But it’s obvious you are very fit tonight, follow me!!” She said and i followed her innocently.
We got to the passage and she brought out a Basket of beads.
” what should i–
” count them
“What?
“These are bold beads, i just want to know if madam Lincoln cheated me,”she said.
” can’t I count it tomorrow, you know I really —
“Start!!!!!” She shouted and headed into her room.
I sat on the floor and started counting, ever since my mum ran away, I stopped living .
I was done by 3:30,i hastily rushed into my room to sleep.
“IS that stupid girl still sleeping,odeya!!” My stepmother shouted, she woke me up from my sleep.
I stood up and picked my clock;its 4:00 am,it’s time to open her shop, i better jump out the window so she won’t slap me for delaying.

Other kids are going to school, but what about me?
I work alot of jobs daily, trying to survive is not really easy.
I help so many women both pregnant and lazy to clean their shops early In the morning. I headed to all the shops one after the other just after I was done cleaning lydia’s store. i locked their doors and I kept their keys.
I did this half awake and half asleep.

Day broke and i ran off to “pause for pizza,” that’s where i work ; both delivery and manual service.
” good morning sir,” I said, I was fully drooling and looking so tired but I can’t miss work, I might get fired.
” s-square entertainment ordered coffee,” he said.
” dreame?,”i asked.
“Yes, the company not the “boyfriends” house!!”he said.
“I understand sir, i will take their order.” I said as I hastily wore my t-shirt and ran off with the coffee neatly arranged. thank God s-square is really close, and After this delivery i will go home for a hot bath. I can’t even open my eye well,i cant even see well,God help me!

The security let me in and i strolled in while really really trying to clear my sight.

I suddenly ran into someone , the hot coffee poured on us both and stained his shirt. He flinched with full shock, my own mouth was now open. he is tall And has a s€×y figure,he is just too beautiful. his blue eyes was already turning w-t with pain as he rolled his eyes. I looked into his white transparent shirt and i saw the red marks on his flat tummy….odeya what did you do?
” sir–“….
” what the — how the hell can you be so stupid miss!!!” he yelled, while hastily brushing his diamond laid finger from his forehead into his hair.

” am sorry, am really sorry..i..i wasn’t seeing clearly,please i didn’t –” i couldnt talk again because i saw the gold necklace he was wearing,it was originally signed “boyfriend”…oh my God, he Is an
idol . i odeya, a nobody; i just wounded an idol… am dead!!!
A crowd of people rushed us

Security came out from different sides, both men and women.
“Are you okay sir?”they asked him.
He didn’t talk rather he just used a finger to open the first few buttons of his shirt then he strolled out;catwalking slowly and weakly.
” How can this common girl be so careless,someone call the police!!”a man shouted
“I already called them sir”a girl repiled.
I got so scared, i looked at the pretty boy but he already entered his car and the driver took off,he doesn’t really even care.
officers already arrived
“You are under arrest for being careless”the officer said.
“But I –“I couldn’t talk because
They already cuffed my hands and dragged me away, odeya odeya, you where really born to suffer.

They officers where about dragging me into a car when a girl in suite rushed out.
” let her go” the girl said.
“What do u mean let her go” the other man asked the girl personally.
” sir edwardo said the idol’s do not need another scandal on their head, so tell them to let her go”she said quietly to the other man and walked out.
The man instructed the officers to let me go.

They uncuffed me and let me go. I ran off and hastily headed back to pause for pizza.
I arrived and rose was waiting on the couch,seems school is over.
“Odeya what kept you?”She asked me.
“Wont you change, are u not working today?”i asked in wonder.
“No, tomorrow,”she said.
“Ok. Actually I was almost arrested,I ran into an idol and poured hot coffee on him”I said.
“Waaaaaaaaat!!
“Yes, he left me to get arrested..it was one sir edwardo that let me go” I added.
” sir edwardo is Bryan’s foster father, he is the founder of dreame.
“Foster,what about his real parents?
“I don’t know,but which of the dreame boys did you meet?”She asked me.
“I don’t really know,I don’t know much about them”I said.
“Well you never cared to listen all the while I wanted to gist you”she said.
“I was busy but am free now”I said smiling.

“DREAME is the name of a male band created by s-square entertainment many years ago,it was always made of different set of Boys until this last set.this last set was signed by the industry because it was them that exposed dreame to the world.”She said.
“Wow!!”I exclaimed.
“they are made up of 5 boys: Bryan,Jeremy,Au
stin,Evan and jace.

“Nice..I wonder which one I met,”I said.
” i wonder,anyways Bryan is the leader, most handsome.he is the richest, hottest, s€×iest, best dress sense, best voice, and also the best dancer in this part of the world, not only in dreame.
I heard he was adopted by sir edwardo when he was 10, he was signed to dreame when he was 12, he was sent on 5 years training in south Korean before his first debut at 17. He built his first mansion at 18 and the second at 19.
it has been recorded that Bryan is the idol with the highest net worth in this part of the world followed by Jeremy and nana from “girlfriends” ;my very role own model. Right now i guess bryan should be about 21 or 22 but he is crazily rich.”she said
“so who is bryan dating,”i asked,I wonder why I suddenly got interested.
“Bryan is very single, he is under a very strict no dating policy,strictly signed by the industry.”she said.
“But why?”I asked again
“I dunno,maybe because he does more of the brain work. I heard that out 200 dreame songs, bryan single handedly wrote 100 and Jeremy 60;the rest was now team work.”she said.

“Nice”I repiled.
” coming to his personal character he is very mean,strict and some students in dreame high had recorded that Bryan is not friendly at all,no one ever saw him smile.”she said.
“What?”I asked,wondering why a human being Wont smile.
“Yea, though I think that feature is common with all dreame boys, None of them seem nice.Jeremy is the second in line, best, sweetest, coolest, calmest “she said making me smile.
” really?”I asked.
” yes, after Bryan Jeremy is the next perfect choice. Evan, Austin and jace-these three should have the same net worth, infact all DREAME boys are prefect.” She said.

” not bad”I said.
“DREAME high is a great school as long as you are not of common blood.
odeya another student was stonned to death!”she said
“What!!” I excliamed.
” yes, she was lying and faking to be rich when she was actually a poor scholarsh¡p student. she even borrowed cloths and shoes which made her look rich and expensive enough to get closer to all rich girls and queens of dreame high mostly “girlfriends”.
the truth came out that she was fake and the wh0le students stonned her to death.not actual only rocks,they threw: books, food, flask, paint etc, but the doctor reported that she died from her heart condition.”she said
“I can never attend such school”I said.
“Me too,I heard the boyfriends where the main initiators of the stoning idea because the girl also became a friend to Evan …and her identity was all a fat lie,”I know Bryan would throw the first stone”was what a commentator said.”she added.

” omg, scary”I said.
“that’s Why scholarsh¡p in dreame high had to stop, but dreame high is a great school,all pop idols attend there and stars don’t move about with security so students are privileged to meet their favourites idols and even speak with them”she said.
” no wonder you must be very rich,the idol’s won’t want to be Infected by commoners”I said and she smiled.
” I forgot to tell you that i signed in for “s-squares average girl voice hunt” it’s been done every year though the board said they have not met the voice they are searching for, they need an extraordinary voice odeya, just like yours”she said.

“You signed up, do u really want to compete?”I asked her
“Yes,I will soon get my date when I should sing. the competition is online and the girl with the extraordinary voice might sing with Bryan on the national competition,who knows!”she said.
“that mean guy”I asked
she smiled.
“at least he Is cute”she said.
” seems sweet, I hope your voice gets recognized bes”I said.
“ODEYA please compete,u have the voice of 1000 fallen angels,I have been begging you since last 2years”she said.
I looked at my body and her eye also ran down my skin too.she saw the cane marks and wh¡ps all over my body.
“ODEYA your father would not know you sang, he won’t flog you I promise”she said.

” What if he finds out,who will save me, u know my mom ran away right?”I said.
” ODEYA I don’t like the way you are suffering in the hands of lydia, if you become the next dreame girl your life will change, u will go to dreame high school as a star and that’s my wish for you.”I said.
She hugged me tight.
Singing is not meant for me,I can’t possibly try having that dream.I won’t dream about about it,I won’t even dream of being a singer because I know it’s not meant for me.

Rose already left, I need to go to haley’s house, its already late.
” sir my shift is over!!”I shouted as I ran away
“See you tommorrow”he said.
Anyways my name is odeya,
For me school has been in and out. I have different jobs,
I don’t only work at “pause for pizza,” I also work at Haley’s; thats where I work as a maid on marked days. I also work at “Mark a movie” only on days when Mrs Patrick is on duty.
I spend most of My afternoon at haley’s house, haley is 14, her parents are very rich; she is very lazy but kind too. i help with her school problems and personal work….We are very very close.
My dad is a smoker, and when u offend him he hits you;he doesnt love me,he never did.
My step mom Lydia is a wicked soul. my mom has an awesome voice, i mean my birth mum.
she was Indeed blessed with the raw talent of singing, but her husband; my dad ;he is a dream killer. He didn’t even allow her when her closest dream was on the line, she had to run away to live that dream. I forgive her for running but I will never forgive her for running without me.

I grew up with same amazing voice, but I was warned never to sing in his house.. sleeping on the streets is Normal,each time I sang if he doesn’t beat me he sends me outside.
he did all this until I stopped, did I stop? I don’t really know… but I know that singing makes me happy, so other than singing every day and getting wh¡pped I better save my songs for sad days of my life.
I hate pain, but living with Lydia made pain my close friend. I just wish, somehow…… anyhow, I just wish to go far away from this house.
I wish someone will take me away from home.
Who can possibly take me away,all I want to hear is “odeya,will you live in my house?” If I ever hear these words I will surely say yes in a haste.

” miss,”i said.
She turned to look at Me and i walked in fully.
She sat with her best friend Anna and her other friend Ellen.
She was deeply engrossed in her phone.
” hey odeya,hand me that phone and have a sit” she said , pointing to her other phone.
I handed her the phone.
“Good day”I said to both her friends.
They smiled and i sat down.
” miss?”I said in wonder
“Guess what?”She said.
“Ok what?”I asked.
“i was telling my dad about you; the girl who makes me happy,” she said, and i stupidly blushed.
” really?” I asked.
“Yes, don’t you want to go to school? I had been bothering dad to give you a scholarsh¡p in dream high but he said that its no longer possible,i kept begging him and finally he said he could give you special admission,He also said that u Wont need to make any payment,its a secured type of admission,he already called the school board. what do you think?” She finally asked me.
“But i don’t like that school,I heard its very dangerous and people keep dying”I said.
“ODEYA this is an opportunity,
don’t you have dreams for yourself? ODEYA you are not enough! you can be more.”she said.
” But am a commoner,am not rich like you are.they will bully me till I commit suicide”I said.
All her friends smiled.
“Who ever said you will be going as a commoner?”Anna asked
“What?”I said.
“We will do a simple shopping and you will attend dreame high school as a friend to Haley who just returned from Dubai” Ellen said.
” I dont-
“This is the only way you can study in dreame highschool and successfully graduate” Haley said.
” you want me to go to dreame high school and live a lie?”I asked
“Yes a big lie” Anna said
“What do you think”Ellen said
“I heard you have great acting skills,its no biggy”Anna said.
“ODEYA can you do it?”Haley asked.
“so I was even thinking her name should be lexi Johan,A non existing figure;that way Google Wont give them any feed” Anna said.

” it’s no biggy odeya, if you are smart,wise and strong you will play this game and become a graduate of dreame high,that certificate is enough to change your life..you can do it,you can survive in dreame high.” Haley said.
“ODEYA say yes,I know to can do it.”Anna said.
” I don’t think my dad and Lydia would let me go to school.”I said.
“You have not even accepted the offer yet, firstly say you will do it ” Ellen said.
” it’s no biggy lexi”Anna added.
“ODEYA are you in? Haley asked.
