💎 Jiso POV 💎
Who is Clara Dexter?
Why is he scared when I interrupt and why is he looking for her?
“Jayden I need an answer” I said
“Jiso you…..”
“Why are you been secretive? If you love me you will let me know about what’s
eating you up? I asked tenderly placing my hand on his hair as i went in between
his leg.

“Okay I’ll tell you” he said and I smile
“It’s about a doctor I once fired while working in Changan because of her
carelessness leading to the death of a pregnant woman” he explain
“So what happened next? I asked
“She was sentence to eight years imprisonment, recently she was released and
now want revenge ” he said and sigh.
“Is that what you’re hiding from me? You don’t have to you know That” I
protest.
“Am sorry, she…..she threatened to use you or Bryan I was so angry and scared
too
I can’t imagine loosing you and Bryan again” he said and I smiled.
“We are on this together Honey, nothing will happen to us” I assured him.
“Don’t ever hide things from me again” I said and he nodded.
“I’ll never hide things again”
I sat on his lap and buried my head on his neck.
Clara Dexter that name sounds familiar.
“Cone let’s go wash up” he said and sweep me off the ground.
He carried me in,side the bathroom and place me in,side the bathtub.
He mixed my bath and turned to leave.
“Ain’t you gonna join me? I asked and he furrowed his brow.

“Are you inviting me? He asked back licking his bottom lip.
“You’re thinking naughty again, just come take your bath that’s all” I replied.
He started undoing his shirt botton and his belt.
After which he joined me in,side the bathtub, immediately he enter the water
seems more hotter than warm.
He picked up the sponge and soap and started scrubbing my back with it.
The way his hand rhythm on my bath makes me want him.
I try as much as possible to hide my desire but my eyes just betrayed me by
staring at his l-ips.
“Are you checking me out? He asked suddenly and I started coughing
uncontrollably.
“Check……checking you out?(scoffs) you wish” I said and he grind himself on
me.
“Well if you want it, am ready for you too” he said and I cover my face with my
palms.

“Just stop it Jayden you’re so naughty, is there really anything else you think
about ? I asked.
“Yea, I think about how our future is gonna be with our future kids and Bryan”
he replied and I blushes.
“So he have us in mind after all.
After the bath he dried up my body with a neat towel and carried me back to the
room.
Jayden is just so rom-ntic this morning, more like a “rom-nTIC DOCTOR”.
He place me in front of the dressing mirror and help apply sunshade lotion on
my skin.
“You got a scratch on you left arm what happened? He asked
“I sustain the injury in Gwando province” I replied
“Less I forget, I’ll be going to that province soon to thank grandmother for
everything” i said and he sighed.
“I also want to thank her too” he said and started combing my hair.
Having Jayden do all this for me I feel so special , he pack my hair to a bun and
stare at me from the mirror.
“You’re beautiful” he said
“And you are handsome too” I replied and he smiled.

💎 Danielle POV 💎
“So it might sound awkward but I love you Danielle, I love the arrogant and
sassy you” Romeo said as we sat in the restaurant having a cup of wine in our
hand.

I was surprised, wasn’t expecting that at all.
“But……”
“Just say yes Elle, I really do love you with am your flaws, please don’t push me
away” he begged.
This is unbelievable.
After I was trying so hærd to suppress my feelings for him thereby being rude
and arrogant to him yet he love me with all That? I asked no one in particular
“Why do you love me” I asked stupidly.
“I love you because you are you, I got attracted to you because of your rudeness
and arrogance, I really don’t have any other reason for coming closer to you
Elle” he replied sweetly.
So cute and kind.
“Do you love me? He asks
“I….I” I stuttered.
“Don’t be in a rush, you can reply me whenever you have the a see let me know”
he said and I nodded.
After the wine we both came out if the restaurant with mixed feelings.
He left while I enter my car and left there.

Jayden kept in touch with his private detective for more information.
“So Sam any news? He asked
“Sir I hack into her data and got hold of all her chit chat with your ex wife Gem”
Sam replied
“Call Danielle, tell her that i need her help” Jayden said and walk to his study.
He couldn’t believe that Gem will stoop so low and team up with Clara in order
to get to him.
Too bad, they are just reopening old wounds and making Jayden determine to
kill them both.

💎 Runa POV 💎
I walk in,side the company sluggishly.
It has been so hectic since Jayden haven’t been to work.
I run almost all the errand within my power.
“Secretary Runa are you okay? A star asked.

“Yea, am okay thank you” I replied and went in,side my office.
Am getting really bothered, I mean am old enough to have a man in my life but I
don’t she any of it coming.
Look at Jiso whom I senior with two years, now with a child of nine years.
What is going on with me?
“You have to stop being a workaholic and take Care of yourself more” my
subconscious mind said.
Whenever I see Bryan, I always wish that he was mine.
The child is so precious, I need a child as promiscuous as him.
I look at the files on my table and also Jayden’s schedule for the day.
I just hope he will be around to attend those meetings.
I dial his number and wait for him to pick up.

📲Good morning Sir 📲I greeted

📲Good morning Runa, how are you? 📲He asked.

📲Fine sir, the project team will be submitting there idea for the humanitarian
work and you need to be there 📲I said.

📲Oh,I can’t just put a call across to Elle she will be there in no time 📲he said
and disconnect the call.

I wish to be a boss too so that I can do whatever I want haa!!!!
This work is so hectic.

💎 Jiso POV 💎
Bryan is going to undergo surgery today,
Am so scared, what if……what if…..
Oh no I don’t even wanna think of that.
“Jayden are you sure about this? I have a very bad feeling about it” I said
“Come on, don’t panic he will be just fine hale and healthy like his mates” He
replied.

Not that I don’t want something good for my son but am just scared, what if
something go wrong?
“Mom, daddy will take Care of me okay you don’t have to panic” Bryan said and
I look at him with tears.
I hugged him tightly to myself not letting go.

“Am sorry that you have to go through pains my son, mom is sorry” I said and
he clean my tears with his thumb.
“You don’t have to be sorry mom, everything happened for a reason.
If you didn’t bring me here for treatment how are we gonna find dad?
Or better still how are you going to forgive him? Stop crying mom” he console
and I clean my face with my handkerchief.
“He is right after all, the least I can do now is to pray and encourage him not to
give up.

“Let’s go” Jayden said and went out while Bryan and I followed him.
Still I have a very bad feeling about this, why am I feeling so scared like
something bad is about to happen?
We enter the car and drove off with some guards following us .
Actually in this past one week, security has been tight everywhere around the
house.

We go out with guards and arm.
I couldn’t believe that Danielle is a prosecutor.
She doesn’t look like one.
She has been the one teaching me how to fire a gun and by now I have
improved a lot in shooting.
The car was already on the highway non of us said anything.
I think they are also nervous just as I am.
We got to a narrow road leafing to the hospital and out of the blue two cars
double crossed us.
“What’s going on? Bryan asked as he clean his eyes didn’t notice that he was
sleeping.

“Don’t worry baby, just continue your sleep” I said trying to pacify him.
“Jayden what’s going on? I asked
“Seems like Clara was serious all along” he replied and brought out his gun.
“What are you doing? I asked glancing back at the fierce shot going on between
our guards and the men.
“Just take care of Bryan” he replied and left the car.
Damn it he is going to face those bastards.
“Mom…..what is going on” Bryan asked again crying this time.
“Someone want to hurt you son, but don’t worry your daddy and mommy is here
to protect you” i replied with all the smile I could gathered.
There was a knock on the door and Bryan clinch my Shirt in fright.
He looked at me but I couldn’t face him, this is the reason why I was scared all
along.

The door burst open and a lady on mask pointed her gun at us.
F-ck!! Now I regret why I didn’t bring my gun along.
I hugged Bryan tightly to myself.
“Please don’t hurt my child” i begged in tears.
She pilled the trigger and I quickly hug bryan taking the gun on his behalf.
She left and immediately Jayden came .
“Mom!! Bryan yelled
“Jiso, Jiso look at me, babe” Jayden called in panic but I just smile at him.
My eyes are now becoming heavy.
“Hang on okay, you will be fine” he said and drove off.
Is this how it’s gonna end?
Is this how I’ll leave my son and the love of my life to another woman?
No Jiso, you have to fight this you must.

💎 Jayden POV 💎
I drove like a mad man to the hospital.
I couldn’t think straight, Jiso is lying down here with a low breath which can stop
any moment from now.
No I can’t allow that, I won’t.
“Bring the stretcher!! I yelled at the nurses who quickly bring it and I roll her
in,side myself.
“Dad” Bryan called crying
“Don’t worry son, nothing is going to happen to your mommy I promise you
that” I said and drive the stretcher in,side the ward.
Jiso please hang on for a little while.
Please.
The tears that have been holding roll down my cheek.
I quickly clean it up, I can’t allow my tears to distract me from concentrating.
She has lost so much blood.
And her face is pale and whitish gray too.

Don’t do this to me Baby, I am so careless.
I carefully remove the bullet from her back and bandage it.
It hit her back bone and its critical.
Few people survive such, Jiso please be strong.
“Chairman” a voice called
“What!! I barked
“She…..she is not breathing” she said and my heart stopped.
What!!
I put my stethoscope on her chest but truly she wasn’t breathing.
Damn it Jiso if you think that am giving up so easily please think twice.
“Connect the shock” I command.
The shock was connected and I pick it up with my two hands.
I bend over and k-ssed her l-ips.
“Be strong for us baby” I said.
“Shock!!
“Shock!! Still no improvement.
“Shock!!
” connect the oxygen!!
