” They’re kids and they will both get over it soon. So You both shouldn’t worry much. We should plan on how to get Tanya confessions when we all go back ” Kris broke the silence.

” I think I’ve a plan” Darrell said.

” So what the plan ” Kris inquired.

” Amber’s birthday is in three weeks time. We should make her confess to her crime ” Darrell said.

Kris touch his chin thoughtful.

” Good one. They should be CCTV cameras in the place of her confession. So will all can use that as evidence to get the bitch behind bars ” Kris said.

” That woman is a monster. So evil how can she killed up to hundred people just because she wanna get me out of the way ” Natalie shook her head.

” I’ll make her pay for everything. She won’t be able to escape from jail. How could she separate me from the woman I ever loved. ” Darrell sworn he couldn’t wait to get her in prison.
His blood boiled. He wonder how someone can be so evil. A self centered person won’t care about anyone but to go ahead and take a woman’s nude pic and kill so many people proves how dangerous she can be. She isn’t worth forgiven. She deserves to be locked in jail with no mercy.

” She thinks Natalie is dead am sure the shock of seeing Natalie after so many years will make her confess to her evil deed. We have to make sure know one knows about Natalie’s arrival expect the few trusted ones like her family ” Kris said.

” Are you really gonna come with us? ” Natalie asked.

” Of course ” he shrugged.

” Or do you not want me to come along ” he added.

” Of course not. I want you to meet with my family and they should know the nice man that have been there during my dark days , supporting me ” Natalie smiled.

Her smiled fade away and was replaced with sadness.

” What happened to the smile on your face ? ” Kris furrowed his brow and Darrell heart ached seeing her sad.

Tear came tackled her cheek and Darrell got up from his seat and went to seat closer to her and drew her into his arms.

” You know I can’t bear to see you in tears ” he soothing,but Natalie cried the more.

” What’s the matter dear ? ” he said softly lifting her chin and cleaning her tears with his hands.

” I also cause my mum and sister pain and they mightn’t forgive me ” she sniffed.

” They will ” Kris assured.

” I’ll make sure they’ll ” Darrell said solemnly.

” So stop crying ” he said.

” You keep in touch with them ? ” Natalie inquired.

” Of course I do , they’re the family of the woman I love the most. I even have Nora staying with them ” he replied.

” Darrell am sorry for everything. I shouldn’t have left you ” Natalie said and was about crying.

” If you want me not to be upset you would stop crying ” he said firmly.

” Polar bears don’t cry. But Nat cries a lot. I wonder the kinda of polar bear she’s ” Kris tease and Natalie couldn’t help but laugh.

” Polar bear ? ” Darrell furrowed his brow.

” And puppies don’t tease a lot ” Natalie smiled.

” Puppies?. Wait is that some kind of nicknames you gave yourselves ” Darrell asked.

” Natalie and I had know each other since childhood. We gave ourself that names when will went to an animal constume party ” Kris stated.

Darrell sighed. He was feeling a bit jealous.

” So you guys knew each other since childhood ” he mused aloud.

” We’re best friends then and still ” Kris winked.

” Kris is such a good friend Darrell. He had always been there for me ” Natalie smiled at him.

” And you’re the best of all ” Kris said smilingly.

Darrell fake a smile to cover his jealously that was increasing. He was trying to convince himself that Natalie and him were just friends and nothing else. But the jealously won’t go away.

” I think I should go convince the kids. Darrell I think you should come with me ” Natalie said.

They met the kids seated on one bed.

Natalie sat in the bed. While Darrell stood up. Kris came after awhile.

” Nora is nice am sure she’ll be happy to see y’all ” Darrell said.

” Is she nice ” Darrell said. He had be hearing it in school that step sisters can be wicked. They won’t want to share their dad with anyone.

” Yes she’s nice and she’s of your age. She’ll be happy to meet you guys ” he assured.

They smiled.

” Can we see her picture ” Kristen said.

Everyone sighed in relief. They’re kids indeed and they can be easily convinced.

Darrell brought out his phone from his pocket and flick through the gallery,screw and showed her the picture of Nora with her doll in a school context.

” Wow she as brown eyes and long hair,park in cute two ponytail. She is dressed all yellow ” Kristen said excitedly.

” Dad do she like yellow ? ” Darrell asked.

” Yes she does that’s her favorite colour ”

” So what’s your favorite Colour? ”

” I love pink ” he replied.

” Strange that’s girls colour ”

” I don’t care I love pink ”

” Dad mine is orange . Darrell is strange he loves pink because Ella likes it ” Kristen said and Darrell frowned.

” Is not true. I just love pink. Isn’t because of Ella ” Darrell retorted.

” Is true ” Kristen insisted,they kept on arguing.

” Wait wait wait ” Natalie said and they stopped.

” Who’s Ella ? ” She asked.

” Is the new girl in school Darrell likes ” Kristen grinned.

” Hey ” Darrell frowned irritatedly.

Natalie ,Kris and Darrell glanced at each other and they burst into laughter. They were wondering what the kids knew about liking someone. They’re not even teenagers yet.

” I don’t like her ” Darrell retorted.

” Yes you do ” Kristen taunt.

” That’s enough drama already. You guys are too young to know anything about liking someone ” Natalie said.

” Sorry mummy ” they chorus.

” Sorry daddy ”

” Is alright ” Darrell said taking a seat with them.

” Do you like our mummy ? ” Kristen asked.

” Of course i do. I like her so much is not like but love ” he said and Natalie smiled.

” Yippy !!” Kristen cheered.

” We you marry our mummy ” Darrell asked.

” Of course I’ll. I love her so much ” he said.

Natalie blushed shyly.

They both hugged him. Darrell phone rang. The caller ID was Nora.

” Look your sister is calling ”

” Really??” they both said.

” Can we talk to her ” they requested.

” Why not surprising her next week when we all go back to American ” he said,knowing if Nora will be shock to hear that he has other kids.
He’ll have to convinced her when he gets back.

.Darrell answered the call.

📞 ” Hello Dad ”

📞 ” Hello sweetheart ”

📞 ” I miss you dad ”

📞 ” And I miss you too. Don’t worry dad will be there very soon. Daddy is also coming along with surprises ”

📞 ” really ? ” Nora jump excitedly.

📞 ” What kind of surprises ” she inquired.

📞 ” Why is it call a surprise if you want me to disclose them ”

📞 ” Okay Daddy am waiting for you and the surprises. Be back soon ” she said.

📞 ” Alright ” he said and end the call.

Whoa who would’ve thought he’ll become father of three kids without getting married first.

” I can’t wait to meet her “the twins said curiously.

” And they’re more people to meet. You grand ma and your aunty ” Natalie ch¡pped in.

” Really” they said excitedly.

” Wow we can’t wait to meet Grand man and Aunt ” they said.

” Why can’t we go tomorrow ” Darrell stated.

” We can’t go tomorrow because daddy also came here for work and it will take a little time to prepare you guys Visa back to American. We’re gonna leave next week ” Kris said after been silent.

” Can’t wait ” Kristen said.

” Me either ” Darrell said.

Natalie and Darrell were at the balcony of Kris’s mansion , resting on the rails.

” Darrell fate brought us back together. Even if I lost all hope” Natalie said smiling.

” Yeah sure. Fate is indeed inevitable. And all thanks to fate. I thought I would never find love again after thinking you were dead ” he said shaking his head.

” I know I cause you pain and I wonder what you went through ” Natalie said sadly.

” That’s in the past forget it. Let’s start with a new beginning. We have kids now” he said taking her in his arms.

” Woman don’t ever leave me again. The next time you do that I might die ” he said in between her l-ips.

” Will they be next time. If they is next time. I promise not to leave you again. I won’t leave. Have learnt my lessoning ” she said with tears.

Darrell took her l-ips in his and k-ssed her. She returned the k-ss.

” Oops am sorry ” Kris said covering his face. He just came and met them k-ssing.

” Is alright ” Darrell said and Natalie look down shyly.

” Polar bear is shy ” Kris teased.

” Stop it puppy ” Natalie said laughing.

” Seriously I do need a nickname ” Darrell said and Natalie and Kris burst into laughter.

#Next_week

They just arrived at Chicago and they were walking through the airport. The teams followed as well and they went their separate ways.

Darrell had already order two car drivers to wait for him in the airport and the drivers were already there to receive them.

They were heading to Mrs Jeanne apartment. Natalie was nervous through the journey. She wonder if her family will ever forgive her.

” Did he said he was close ” Judy said pouring the vanilla in the muffin mixture.

Darrell came in as when as Natalie the twins and Kris.

Judy quickly wash her hands and after cleaning the with a napkin. She rushed to meet Darrell.

” Darr…..” She froze as she saw Natalie.
