Episode Forty
“So you want to bring down both Michael and George???” Gerry said to the man sitting in front of him, it has been some days. They were both in his office, they has two glasses of cups of wine in front of them.

“Yeah Gerry” The man replied “And it involves a lot of money, you will be happy with your own share of the money” The man said.

“I understand you, Maxwell and I know just who to give the job” Gerry replied.

“Thanks alot”

“But there is a little problem but I can solve it in a jiffy”

“OK, thanks please send your best man”

“Well, it’s a lady that is the best here” Gerry said and Maxwell frowned.

“Do you think, it will work” Maxwell asked.

“You don’t know her, she has been on eighty dangerous missions but she has won all without dieing, she has been training since when she was fifteen, she never loss a fight or mission, she brought down a dangerous man in five minutes, she is simply the best here” Gerry said and Maxwell marveled “You won’t hear all these on the Internet or any where because her mission is a secret one, nobody knows even some of the people here don’t know it, so relax” he said.

“You mentioned a problem, what’s it??” Max asked.

“Dont worry about it and I just know how to do just that” Gerry said and the both of them sipped their drink with a smile.

Both Stella and Michael in their different places were having the same flash back. Stella was having a flash back to what Barr. Kunle told her while Michael in his room was having the same flash back to what his Mother told him when he visited.

FLASH BACK

**** THEIR STORY****

They were three good friends : Ifeanyi Martins, Olujimi Oyinlola and Orji Gerry. Both Martins and Olujimi are very good friends and best friends but they try not to zone their third friend out. They all worked together and began to build the business world together, they all became very rich and famous. Gerry began to behaves strangely, Jimi noticed it and told Martins to be careful but the advice came a little late because a week after, Martins’ family was murdered except from Gaberialle who survived. That same day Jimi’s only family, his wife and his unborn child were killed and these muders were blamed on Jimi with evidence after few years when Gabe became an adult. She sent her Father’s best friend to rot in jail, not even listening to his own side of the story. Then the once happy families became the shadow of themselves. Gaberialle became ruthless, wicked and brutal to people who perverted justice but the question is WAS SHE RIGHT IN WHAT SHE DID???????

Gaberialle came down from her car and headed to Gerry office, as she was approaching the office, she stopped and listened because Gerry was talking.

“I can’t release my best man to do what you asking and begging me too, I can’t even believe these stories, how will men like them do that??” Gabe heard her uncle say harshly, she entered, she saw two women, one was foreign while the other was a Nigerian, these women were crying, their eyes were red and swollen, a man also was sitting with them, they all looked at her as she came in, she stood besides her uncle table.

“Dear, you will have to give me some minutes” Gerry said referring to Gabe, she nodded and wondered why these women were crying.

“You have to help them, please this is injustice, just because they are rich, they can get away with anything” Maxwell said angrily.

“Sir, don’t you get it, they raped us!!!” The foreigner yelled and stood up, as she said that Gabe stiffened “When I met them, because they work and do things together, I was happy because celebrities called, then just then George tore my clothes, punched and slapped me, I was about to shout but Michael covered my mouth and tied my hands” As she was saying this, Gabe had a flash back of how she was raped, she was shivering and moving backwards slowly and gnashing her teeth, sweats covered her, her bags and keys has fellen off her hands “Then with the both of them laughing and enjoying what they were doing, they both took turns on me and were hailing themselves as they did so” Gabe was still moving back slowly, shivering and crying silently as her flashback came back in force and she keeps having the flashback of when she was raped “When they were through, they threw me out, entered the car and threw money at me and told me not to tell anyone, or else I will be killed, I almost died that day and you are saying you won’t help me, please sir, this place is our last hope, please sir” The foreign lady pleaded crying furiously, she sat down and wiping her tears which seems not to stop running down her cheeks.

“Who are this filthy men, Who!!!???” Gaberialle yelled angrily.

“The Darlingtons, they raped me as well, when I was about to have my wedding with the man of my dreams, they raped me and threatened to kill me if I told anyone, I have been suffering in silence but when I heard that there is someone who brings down such horrible men, I was glad, I ran here, I was happy that finally I will be given justice but this man here seems not to understand us or help us, just because they are rich and powerful, must the poor always suffer, MUST THEY??!!!”The Nigerian lady said crying too.

“Please you have to help them, look at what those men did to them, please help them, I feel so sorry for them” Maxwell said moved.

“Gabe!!!!!” Gerry yelled her name because she was still shivering and gnashing her teeth.

“I will do it, drop the files boss, I will bring those bastard down, I will reduce them to nothing I will make that family, shadow of itself, I will reduce them to Zero, I will fight with everything in me” Gabe said still shaking.

“Gabe, but you just came back from a dangerous mission, I can’t let you do this, I… I.. ” Gerry was saying when Gabe cut in.

“NO!!!! I AM RED!!!!!, I do what I love to do that is to FIGHT FOR JUSTICE!!!” She yelled, Gerry dropped the file on the table, Gabe took it along side her bag and keys and left the building and sat down in a car with her head on the wheel.

Back in Gerry’s office, the ladies wiped their tears and all of them burst out laughing knowing that Gabe has exited the building.

“That was a good performance ladies” Gerry said to the ladies who were laughing.

“Gerry, you are the master of games” Maxwell said “So, you will get the alert soon and let this stay within us, Okay???” He said and did some things on his phone, the ladies’ phones buzzed, they checked it and scre-med.

“Thank You Sirs” the both ladies said and left.

“We will keep and eye on them” Maxwell said “And I am impressed Gerry” he said and the both of them smiled.

A car drove fast and roughly to a restaurant, coming out of the car was Ruth, Gaberialle’s best friend, she ran into the restaurant and saw Gabe with her head on the table, she came closer and heard her sobbing uncontrollably.

“Captain Cutie???” Ruth called, Gabe raised her head, stood up and went over to Ruth, she hugged her tightly crying, Ruth walked the both of them outside the restaurant to avoid people seeing Gabe cry. “Sis what’s wrong???” She asked.

“I remember that bastard that cause all these, that hired people to kill my family and also raped me, I remembered him Ruth, I remembered, I thought I had forgotten but I remembered how useless I am since then, I remembered everything, the pains, trauma, everything, I remembered Ruth” Gabe said, she sat opposite Ruth, Ruth took her chair and sat beside her friend.

“It’s OK, it’s fine, you are not useless at all, you are the most wonderful person I know, I like so many things about you, you are a fighter, you never give up, so let these pains, shame and everything be behind you” Ruth said patting her friend, who hugged her.

“Thanks alot Sis” Gaberialle said wiping her tears.

“Flash me that your one million dollars smile, my love, cupcake…..” Ruth was saying when Gabe burst out laughing.

“You are not serious Ruthie”Gabe said smiling. “Let’s go” They both stood up.

“Will you be able to go home alone, I can leave my car here and follow you in yours, I will just send someone back to get it for me” Ruth said.

“Nope, thanks alot” Gabe said smiling, they both walked to their different cars and drove off after promising to call each other when they get home.

“Dad!! godfather!!! Adrian!!!! Alexa!!!” Ashley called out frightenedly, as she stood in her doorway, holding her small lamb, every where was still dark, although there was light but she was too short to reach the switchs. She had woken up when her alarm went off. She had wanted to go back to sleep but after checking her Dad’s and godfather’s room but didn’t see them, she became scared. Both Adrian and Alexa woke up, came out of their rooms. Alexa put on the light which brightened the passage.

“Hey!! Princess what’s up??” Alexa said, as she came out of her room and stood beside Adrian who was still sleepy.

“I checked godfather and Dad’s room but they ain’t there'” Ashley said worriedly.

“What do you mean??” Adrian said, his sleepiness vanished, Alexa looked at Adrian who shook his head, he went to check the rooms but came back with a worried expression.

“Oh??? Let’s go to downstairs to call them” Alexa said and they all went downstairs, it was dark, as Alexa wanted to put on the lights, but it came on by itself. Flowers dropped on the kids, TJ, Michael and George all had beautiful smile on their faces.

“Happy birthday to you all” They all chorused.

“But my birthday is not…..” Alexa was saying when she remembered the date, as she ran to confirm it on a calendar hanging on the wall “Oh my goodness!!!, today is my birthday, as well as Adrian” She smiled.

“We decided to celebrate all together, since Adrian’s birthday is just two days away and also Ashley’s birthday because we didn’t properly celebrate hers” George said and ushered the kids to the bigger sitting room, TJ and Michael were behind them. They kids shouted for joy seeing what the men has prepare for them.

“Oh!!”Ashley said as tears formed in her eyes, she couldn’t hold them back, they all noticed and went to hug her “Thanks so much” she said.

“Thanks guys, we really do appreciate these” Alexa and Adrian said as they hugged both Michael and George tightly.

“Same to you TJ” The kids said and went to hug TJ.

“Happy birthday” TJ said smiling.

“Thanks” The kids chorused.

“Seriously, what time is it???” Adrian asked as they all sat down.

“5:30 am” Michael replied.

“Oh, you guys woke up early to do this??? Awwn, I love you, you are the best” Alexa said smiling widely “I even forgotten my birthday, wow!!” She said surprised.

“Same here” Adrian said unbelievably. They all laughed.

“Well, today is gonna be a busy day, because we are all going out to celebrate your birthdays and when I mean celebrate I mean big celebration just between ourselves” Goerge said happily, the kids yelled for joy.

“Sweeties, am really sorry, I won’t be going with you all but when you are through with your celebration outside the house, I will do mine here when you all get home, am really sorry” Michael said and the kids smiled.

“godfather, am not really happy, you won’t be coming with us but it’s fine okay” Alexa said.

“We will keep you updated” Adrian said.

“Well, as for me you are gonna watch my cartoons with me through out the night without sleeping, fair enough right???” Ashley said mischievously.

“Yeah, ofcourse” Michael said smiling but when Ashley looked away, he had a dieing expression in his face, which made the others to laugh.

“So let’s start the preparations” TJ said and everyone nodded.

Gaberialle halted her car in front of a beautiful and expensive restaurant, she walked in and went to sit down in front of Stella who had a smiling face.

“Hiii….. Baby love, sorry am late” Gabe apologized, Stella smiled and wrote something down.

“No problem, especially on this special day, I will forgive you” Stella wrote, Gabe reads.

“Oh!! Thanks” Gabe said. “Special day???” She asked herself inwardly “Hmm.. Please give me a minute” She told Stella, who nodded. Gaberialle went out took her phone and called Ruth.

“Hey Ruthie” Gabe greeted immediately Ruth answered the call.

“Hi Bestie, wait!?? aren’t you supposed to be with Stelly today” Ruth said.

“How come you know???”

“Seriously Gabe??”

“She said on this special day, do you have any idea what she is talking about because I don’t” Gabe said looking around to make sure Stella wasn’t within earshot.

“Oh sweet Jeez!!! What type of person are you, I will seriously hit that small head of yours” Ruth said.

“Please”

“It’s her birthday, you small headed being” Ruth said, Gabe gasped.

“Oh my!!!, I forgot, thanks you are a life saver but with a bad mouth, gotta go honey, call you later” Gabe said smiling.

“Am so gonna skin you” Ruth said, Gabe laughed and hung up, She went to the restaurant and sat down but she didn’t see Stella, she read the note in front of her.

“You forgot right??? You forgot my birthday” Gabe read.

“Oops” She said as she hit her forehead, she looked around and walked away from the restaurant and went to another section which was near the swimming pool, people were in this section, she looked around and saw Stella sipping a drink, She walked up to her and took the chair, sat beside Stella and hugged her.

“Am sorry Honey, it wasn’t international, am really sorry, please forgive me love” Gabe said sadly.

“It’s fine, you are given another mission right” Stella wrote while Gabe reads it.

“Yes, am sorry” Gabe said.

“No problem” She wrote, Gabe reads it and smiled at her.

“So let’s take thousands of pics, have fun today” Gabe said happily, as the both of them stood up.

“Yes!!, Sis Ruth is joining us later when we are going to the mall” Stella wrote now, Gabe reads while sipping Stella’s drink.

“Yep”

“Am going to swim” Stella wrote down on her notepad, when Gabe read it she smiled and nodded, Stella went to get her swimming trucks, Gabe took the phone and went to stay beside the swimming pool. Stella came out and dive into the pool with Gabe laughing and taking pics of Stella who had a big smile. Gabe went to get some drinks for herself and Stella as she was walking back to the pool, she collided with someone.

“Jeez!!!” She said as she wanted to pick up her drink, which has fallen, a masculine hand reach out for the bottled drink.

“Am so sorry” He said as he pointed the drink to Gabe, who lifted her head and when she saw the person, she became stiffened.

“George Darlington, Well my lucky day!” She thought, as she flashed George her rare smile “Thanks” She said.
