Episode Sixty Two
As Michael was pulling Becca up the stairs into his room, she continued to ask different questions which only made him chuckled.

“Mike you aren’t answering my questions….” She stopped mid sentence as she step into his room, she gasped.

“Oh my!!! Jeez is this paradise, is that me???” She asked, as she stared into the numerous pictures of herself around the room “Oh my!!! This is amazing” She said as she looked around, he also had some of the family’s pictures which too included Jemima, Michael sat down on his bed looking at Becca and smiling, after admiring the room and the pictures, she looked at him.

“What’s your name???” She asked, he smiled.

“It’s Michael Adetomiwa Philip Olayemi”He said and she laughed “Why are you laughing??” He asked.

“Your pronunciation is funny” She said and laughed again.

“I am also a Darlington” He said and immediately she stopped laughing and looked at him.

“That’s a joke right???” She said expecting him to laugh and tell her it was a joke but he simply shake his head in the negative conforming what he had said “What their name again??? Michael and George, oh my gosh!! That’s the name of that man and you are Michael….. I am confused” She said looking at him, she was still standing, she began to feel uncomfortable and she felt like falling and also felt dizzy but she trying pushing pass them.

“Take” Michael said giving his phone, she looked at him with raised brows “Browse” he said, she collected the phone, searched and she saw all what she needed to confirm that it was true.

“You are really a Darlington, oh my goodness!! This is…..” She was saying when she started p-nting and her legs were becoming week, Michael grabbed her before she fell.

“Becca!!!, What’s wrong???” Michael asked with a worried expression, Becca was laying on his lap, as she was still p-nting. He took his phone and called George who didn’t picked but got to his room almost immediately.

“Oh my goodness!!! What happened???” George asked seeing their position, Gabe was behind him.

“She just started p-nting and fell but I caught her” Micheal explained.

“Oh!!! What happened???” George asked again and this time Michael lost it.

“Are you deaf or something, I f-cking just told you what the hell happened and you ask me stupid questions, I swear if you ask me that one more time, I will punch you in the damn face!!!” Michael said with anger that shook both Gabe and George.

“I am sorry man, hospital now” George said immediately, Michael carried Becca and they went downstairs, it was night already.

“Get Nick on the phone” Michael said, George took the phone from his friend’s pocket and called Nick who picked.

“Jeez!!! Wheels why would you call me at this time of the day” Nick said gro-ning “Want some tips about alluring your woman???” He joked, well Michael didn’t see it funny cause he shouted his name.

“Nickel Hunters” Michael shouted angrily In to phone, as he got to the car.

“Wow… That my full name man, what’s the problem??? Are you alright???” Nick asked alerted.

“Becca fainted and her heart beat is kinda slowing down”

“Jeez!!! That’s not good, any medical history, and I hope you are on the way to the hospital”

“Yes we are, she is kinda suffering from a heart problem…..” Michael explained.

“Oh my goodness!!!, keep talking to her and try not to say anything too shocking or excited, try patting her slowly”

“Oh OK”

“Send the address of the hospital” Nick said and after received a yes from him, he hung up. They were already at the hospital, Becca was been taken away. George patted his friend’s shoulder.

“It will be fine, relax” George said.

“Thanks” Michael said as tear welled up in his eyes, he hugged George “Where is Gabe??” He asked as they disengage.

“I ask her to stay back because of the kids” George answered, Michael nodded. They both went to sit down, Soon Nick, Daniel and TJ came running in.

“What happened??” Daniel asked immediately they got to where the friends were.

“We were talking and I told her I was also a Darlington and she started p-nting and all that” Michael said rubbing the his forehead.

“Shit!!! And you said she has a heart problem, gosh!!! I guess the news was too shocking” Nick said very concerned.

“Will she be fine??” Daniel asked.

“She will be” Nick said hopefully as he stared at Michael who seems close to his own death, this will actually be another time he has seen Wheels so scared and vulnerable, he pitied him.

“I think that’s the doctor” TJ said as a man whose hair were gray already, he walked towards them as they all rushed to him.

“Uhmmm…. Whom do I talk to???” The doctor looked confused as the men rushed towards him.

“Please just tell how she is” George answered almost snapping at the old man.

“Well, she has a very slim chance of living, actually she is even supposed to be dead, but what I can say is that she is really strong….. Well, we have to perform a very delicate surgery on her and the chances of survival are slim also…. She needs another heart, Heart transplant” The doctor said, Michael lost the strength to stand, TJ held him.

“Can you do that here???” Nick asked.

“If you were here somedays ago, I did say no but well yes we can now, actually two best surgeons from Korean are coming down to Nigeria for educational purposes” The doctor answered.

“Ohh, guess we are fortunate, names please??” Nick asked for the names which the doctor gave, he pulled out his phone to check something “They are good and also the best, they should be the ones to operate her” Nick said with satisfaction.

“Have they been informed???” George asked.

“We wanted to seek you consent first” The doctor answered.

“Sir, do everything you can to save her life, just carry on with everything please….. Everything necessary should be done please” Michael said with a broken and shaky voice.

“Will do” The doctor said nodding “She needs prayers too” He said and left.

“Nick??” Michael called, Nick looked at Michael “What are the chances??” Michael asked, Nick sighed, he motioned for them to go and sit down which they did.

“The doctor is right, but she is strong whatever is keeping her alive till now, I don’t know but am sure she will make it because according to the doctor and experiences, she should actually be dead, but she is still living… We should be grateful to what is keeping her alive” Nick said smiling a little, Michael nodded.

“Buddy, I and Nick will be right back, let’s go meet the doctor” George said, he received a nod from him, he and Nick walked to the doctor office.

“We should really be prayerful” Nick said in a whisper.

“Never knew you were this religious” George whispered back.

“Well, I am now, anything for Wh- Michael” Nick corrected himself quickly, George didn’t notice either, they knocked on the door, after hearing a ‘Come in’ they went in after appreciating the nurse who helped them there. Soon George and Nick came to meet the others.

“What did he say???” TJ asked.

“He has informed the surgeons, they should get here soon” Nick answered.

“How did you find her buddy???” Michael asked, George went over to his side and sat down beside George, only Nick and Daniel were standing with their back against the wall, George narrated how he met Becca and what Becca told him also.

“The leaves and herbs they used on her is really outstanding” Nick commented nodding his heamd.

“Yeah” Michael said.

“OK” Belle said into the phone pressed on her hair, she is in the sitting room, watching a movie, she is in her pajamas, she ended the call and continued to watch TV, Piper came with two drinks, gave Belle one of it and sat down “Thanks dear” She said while Piper nodded.

“How is she now??” Piper asked.

“Not really in a good shape but I pray and hope she survives cause boyfriend really love her”

“I noticed too, the look on his face when he saw her was indescribable, his smiles and laughter after seeing her shows he is genuinely happy”

“That’s true” Belle said nodding her head.

“If there’s a worsh¡p center here, we should go in the morning and pray” Piper said, Belle nodded, they watched the movie for some hours and decided to sleep after a while.

“Seriously!! Mom???!!!” Nicholas yelled in frustration, Gabe had video called him very early today, in the morning.

“Good morning love” She said smiling “How was your night???” She asked.

“I was enjoying it until you woke me up” He replied equally smiling at her.

“Have you eaten??” She asked nervously, Nicholas narrowed his eyes at her.

“Mom!!!, it is too early to eat and by the way, I know that’s not why you called me” He said staring at her suspiciously, She wanted to keep a blank face but her smile gave her away “Spill it Mom”

“OK, fine, do you think his kids will like me” She asked looking a bit scared.

“Ofcourse, they will, they are sweet people, am sure they will like you, have you spoken to them yet???”

“Not yet”

“Well, give it a shot then”

“OK, thanks love” She said smiling.

“No problem and please don’t disturb me, gosh!!! Mom!!! It’s super early, you should be disturbing your boyfriend and not me” He said and they both laughed, she ended the call and went to the kitchen to cook for the kids.

“godfather??….” Ashley called as she walked into the kitchen only to see Gaberialle who looked nervous on seeing George’s child. It was morning already.

“Good morning” Gabe greeted with a big smile, Ashley equally smiled back.

“Hey Gabe” Ashley said as she walked in to the kitchen, J, Alexa and Adrian walked into the kitchen, they all had their pajamas on. They all greeted her jovially.

“Where is your boyfriend???” Ashley asked smiling, Gabe was taken aback at the bluntness of a kid.

“Don’t be too shock, we are one crazy family” Adrian said and they all laughed.

“Well l love craziness” Gabe said smiling.

“I totally sh¡p you guys” Alexa said and the rest hummed a ‘yes’, Gabe looked confused.

“Sh¡p????” She said confused, they all looked at her.

“You don’t know???” Alexa asked in shock.

“Gabe just stopped the sh¡p!!!” Ashley said faking been hurt.

“Hmm.. Sister Gabe…..” Jemima was saying laughing.

“It’s fine, you can call me Captain Cutie” She said and the kids squealed.

“Awwwnnn….. Dad got a Cutie!!!” Adrian and Ashley shouted happily and laughing loudly, Gabe couldn’t hold her laughter too.

“Plus, she is a Captain !!!” Alexa exclaimed saluting Gabe, who was laughing heartily. She went to the kitchen brought their breakfast and they began to eat.

“Sh¡p means, when people wants a certain set of people to fell in love and be together” Jemima explained.

“Oh” She said and smiled remembering George.

“Awwwnnn…. Cutie is so much in loveeeee” Ashley said placing her hands on her cheeks, Gabe laughed.

“GG” Alexa said “George and Gaberialle” She said, and they all nodded, Gabe just stared at the kids in admiration.

“Micah for godfather and queen” Adrian said and the girls gasped.

“Woah!!!! Good job Adrian” Alexa said smiling. They all ate, talked, played and watched Tv together.

Veronica was so engrossed in the mails she was answering to noticed Jimi has entered into her office.

“Awwwwwnnnnn….. Babe?!!” He called very unhappy, Veronica looked at him smiling and went to hug him.

“Am so sorry, I didn’t notice you were in already” Veronica replied very exhausted, they disengaged.

“Babe, you ain’t working here anymore, you have helped me alot, you have been working very hærd, you haven’t been too any of the shows you have been called too, you haven’t gone to your boutique and you haven’t even published any books” Jimi said sighing, he was sitting down while Veronica was sitting on the table infront of Jimi “So babe you are officially release from the work so you can tend to your own business” He said smiling, Veronica smiled and hugged him.

“So we will be having our wedding in one week time” She said after she disengaged.

“Yep, and I can’t wait for me to have you to myself” Jimi said smiling like a kid, Veronica hit him playfully on his shoulder.

“We just need blessings and to celebrate with our friends and family, don’t worry everything is been taking care of” She said smiling, he nodded his head “Yeah, I have been calling Ademi but he hasn’t been picking” She added, Jimi feigned been hurt.

“Why do I always get jealous when you call him that???” Jimi said pouting.

“C’mon!!!” She said laughing “OK, I have always wanted to call you something other than your name…… Hmmmmmmm…….” She said as she thought for a moment “Ayanfemi (My chosen Love)” she said putting on her best smile.

“Awwwnnn, I love it!!!!” Jimi exclaimed excitedly. Veronica laughed at Jimi’s childish reaction “So why has he not been picking up??” He asked, she shakes her head indicating she didn’t know why he didn’t pick up.

“Let me call him again” She said as she walked to her seat took her phone and began to call Michael.

“Hello” Nick answered.

“Hey Nick, how are you?, Where is your friend???” She asked.

“Ma’am something not pleasing happened, Becca is in the hospital to be operated upon” Nick said.

“What???!!!” She exclaimed…..
