EPISODE 11
Charles and Blade drove into Jeff’s house and was intercepted by the gate keeper.
.
They were in white suit, an ear pod, with a dark Sunshade to match. Portraying those movie like characters looking extremely heroic.
.
“We want to see Mr. Jeffrey Linus, tell him that the order for security is here.”
Blade said as he looked quite cute in his business like performance.
.
The gatekeeper nodded and few minutes later, Jeff came down to meet them, with his fellow party members.
.
“An order from Mr. Greg, on demand to safe guard the contesting governor.”
Blade said as he and Charles flashed their I.D card 💳 in a synchronized manner.
.
Jeff, smiled as he accessed them both and was super satisfied with what he saw.
Handsome, intelligent, has decorum and that professional approach that would make you throw your lot with them, and looking harmless, which was the opposite of what he visualized, he was looking forward to huge, tough and bulky dudes, but without being told he knew that this two men were extremely dangerous and merciless killers.
.
Charles all this while had been mute and just observing the situation, as he allowed Blade do all the talking. He just muttered in his heart.
“Let us just be over with this, so I can go back with the normal way.”
.
He knew this sort of work, would surely tie him down, as he would always appear with Jeff at all social places and campaigns and seriously that s-cks.
.
If it was not for the sort of respect he had for Mr. Greg he would have rejected the deal instantly.
.
“That’s good, gentle men, you guys just came at the nick of time, was about heading out to a meeting that would be great, if you would join us in.”
He said smiling and not giving on any airs and that made the first impression on Blade and he liked Jeff for that.
.
They filed into the different cars and zoomed off to the meeting he scheduled with the old men .
.
On arrival, they were ushered in into the meeting point.
.
“Sir we would like to stay in the car.”
Blade told Jeff.
“No guys, you are part of my team, and we all work together for the greater picture.”
Jeff said.
.
Charles just gave a snarl of disdain
“Hypocrites, with ulterior motives, speaking righteously to evoke the love of the masses.”
Charles said in his heart, but decided to follow them behind. Mrs Caroline was equally there.
.
If Jeff had heard what Charles had said, he would have vomited blood from the realisation that a friendly word from him earned him a hypocrite.
.
They all sat down in a squared form. you can just picture how an executive meeting is held in a prosperous company , looks like, that is just it. I can’t describe the scene with a pen.
.
They all sat down and the atmosphere looked tensed up. Seven old men and Mr. Smith sat together.
.
Charles and Blade exchanged glances. as they both knew virtually all these men here, but the old men didn’t know them .
They had performed deadly jobs for all of them a multiple time, without them knowing who the assassin was.
.
Though it wasn’t healthy in the assassin job to disclose the identity of a person who ordered a hit job, it is considered an absolute secret. but Charles and Blade always had their way.
.
As the two opposing sides, we’re staring daggers at each other and the tension rising to an unbearable height. then Mr. Fox broke the ice.
.
“Impressive, since time immemorial the youths has always been fearless leader and daring. I really love your zeal.” Mr. Fox said tapping on the desk.
.
“Thanks honorable for the compliment, but I believe that’s not why you called me here.”
Jeff said feigning civility since Mr. Fox still acted nice. still staring at him gently.
.
“Ohhhh!! yes that’s true, I love your zeal, it reminds me of when I was young, those old good days, but I advise you to lay off, politics is not a gamble for kids without experience, you are barely thirty plus or there about.”
Mr. Edeth said, not giving him face terming him a kid.
Jeff smiled as he looked up at the eight of them.
“Age is not really the problem but aim and vision, where has age brought this country to? this is precisely many years since the old men has been in power, please can you show us the results and what your achievements are? I believe it’s time for the youths to be in control. old men are too old, feeble and sick and of utmost importance old fashioned to follow in the flowing trend of time, that’s why our state is retrogressive.
“You…….. ”
The wh0le old men pointed at him in annoyance, ready to pounce on him if it was possible, that they were old fashioned? They that enjoy the latest car? they that enjoy the sweet sixteen of the country ?
ĺOhhhh! did I say anything wrong? this country needs resuscitation and revival. pursuing the same system hasn’t helped us a bit?, so the state needs new and capable hands.”
One of the young men, who was with Jeff ch¡pped in as he looked annoyed at the prospect of even sitting down with those old goons.
.
“Well spoken, well spoken. that’s good. what would you need to step down, let’s face facts now and leave logic. what prize? name it for you to hands off from the governorsh¡p post.”
Mr. Fox said.
.
“My prize? well if Mr. Smith can step down for the gubernatorial seat, then I would too.”
Jeff said smiling with a shrug.
“Impudent!!!” Mr. Smith roared in anger.
.
“You are the impudent one.”
Mrs. Caroline ch¡pped in.
.
“Haaaahaaha!! when a child threads in the same path as his father, when he knew that same part maimed his father, what awaits him is death 💀. check your history very well and see the ending young man.”
Mr. Smith said, before realizing what he said in anger.
.
Jeff, was shocked as he understood what he meant and he simply nodded smiling dangerously.
Just as he anticipated.
“Who really killed his father?”
tbc
.
Hiaaaaaa!!!! how sure is this?
.
What do you guys think about Charles character and Mr. Smith’s threat?
please say your mind ooo.
