EPISODE 15
meanwhile, Charles was equally blocked by the other three guys.

On approaching near, one of them gave a piercing dive trying to knock him to the ground, but Charles made a side flip dodging the assault, while his interlocouter scrambled forward mid air, crashing to the ground as he ate fine sands.
.
Using the falling guy as a pivot, Charles performed a double sweep kick, tackling one of them to the ground.
.
The other guy ran forward and pummeled Charles on the stomach, nearly hitting him to the ground, while Charles had to slide backwards upon impact.
.
Furious at the hit, Charles ran forward and jumped up high in the air and a rained a super sonic lower cut at the neck, directly severing his wind pipe of one of them. The force sent the guy twirling mid air knocking him dead at the s₱0t, as he convulsed and stretched to the limit before giving up on life.

Charles made as if he was running away and the remaining two guys pursued him with bloodshot eyes keen on killing him. Borrowing the force of the earth while running, Charles made a light stamp on the ground, and made a backward roll mid air, as he twirled around and released a kick at the chest of one of them, knocking him down. While Charles expertly landed on his foot.

He dodged the kick from the last guy standing and elbowed him on the face, making the guy slightly lose balance, as he reeled backward, ignoring his injury the guy angrily charged forward again helplessly like a cornered rat, Charles just dodged slightly and immediately dodged his outstretched arm in a clean reflex, and inclined his shoulder upwards as it rammed at the youngman’s elbow. the sound of broken bones and shout of agony followed suit afterwards. Releasing him Charles gave him a kneel to head kick, sending him sprawling unconscious on the floor.

Charles pulled the gun and shot the two guys dead too.

The three of them sat down in pure time tiredness. Charles angrily unknotted his tie and drew it away to have some breaths. And as if in unison, Blade and Jeff followed suit.
.
None of them were in the mood to talk, as they jumped towards a stream not far away, to drink to their satisfaction and wash themselves clean. As they surfed for new ways to reach home.

Jeff, was the one who the event of today hit the most, as this was the first event where he was so near to the death and yet equally yet so far away. He couldn’t just help but thank his mentor for sending him this two guys.

He didn’t know much about his other party members, maybe some died and some survived.

An old man in an agbada and a red chieftancy cap could be seen cursing out aloud.

“Rubbishes !!, pure time Rubbishes! a simple task of killing this little bastard and they couldn’t kill him. F-ck!! well you are gonna join your parents soon.”

The man said angrily as he picked up his car keys and left in a fit of anger.

The seven old men and Mr. Smith were gathered as usual, but their expressions looked terrible as coldness flickered in their eyes as they watched the ongoing news, on the headlines. “AN ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION OF MR. JEFF, ONE OF THE CONTESTANTS OF THE GUBERNATORIAL SEAT”

As various pictures on the Wreckage where the incident occurred were shown and the various dead bodies which were either dismembered or weren’t found at all.

The newscaster went ahead to say that the suspects of the attempt on his life according to Mr. Jeff, as he mentioned the seven old men and Mr. Smith.

“What impudence!!”
Mr. Fox couldn’t help but yell in anger.

“Someone else is playing a game behind the scene, we never sent those assassins to make an attempt on that Jeff’s life, the order was just kill a few and that’s all to send across a message to him and then who sent a mission to kill him?”
One of the old men said as they all gazed at each other.

“Someone wants to kill that boy, and if he succeeds, that would completely ruin our plans, and the person is doing all this on purpose, because every finger would point at us and I believe you don’t want to see agitated citizens, who believe that their saviour was killed by we corrupt old men, because that can be super dangerous.”
Said Mr. Fox.

Mr. Fox placed a call immediately and it was picked up.

“This is not what I sent you to do, how come the unwanted outcome, please do well to explain?”
Said Mr. Fox gently.

“Sir after you were through, with the order another call came across from another of our client ordering for his death, so we had to kill two birds with a stone.”
Said the male voice.
