EPISODE 25

blade, who had been hospitalized for months now, suddenly, moved his hand and feet on his sick bed and equally opened his eyes but he was still in a daze and had this obscure feeling.

Then he looked around as he muttered.

“Where I’m I?”

His speech immediately drew Sharon’s attention, as she was sitting beside him and going through her lecture note.

“Blade wow!!!”

She scre-med happily and threw the book aside, as tears of joy filled her eyes.

“So you finally made it. all thanks to God.”

Blade tried getting up, but a bone piercing pain from his chest, made him frown, while Sharon hurriedly pulled him down.

“You are not well. you still have the gun injury and it is still fresh.”

She said.

Blade smiled as he looked at her tenderly, but weakly.

“I love you Sharon. how have you been all this while?”

“Not going fine without you.”

She said as they both smiled sweetly.

Charles was already seated in his private room as different reports about Sen. Edeth was present in his mind as he muttered.

“The real killer, of Mr. Linus, of twelve years ago, an extortionist, An owner of an assassin cooperation here in Nigeria and the owner of a female brothel cult in Austria.”

He muttered slowly as he said all he knew about Edeth.

“I see…….., so being the principal man behind the murder of Mr. Linus, now it makes sense who is after Jeff’s life, since he is trying to eliminate any future threats, as he knew Jeff ever winning the governorsh¡p election, would make it more easier to find those who killed his father. But what I don’t understand is why make use of the seven other men to achieve his aim, when he could still silently pinch Jeff to death without anyone knowing, considering his several connections.”

Charles said in deep thoughts.

The old men sat down as usual, but only five of them were available as two were already assassinated. and Mr. Smith bid an excuse that he couldn’t make it.

The five of them solemnly looked solemn as they faced a young man, who looked composed in his gray suit and a cow boy hat to match, with a Cuban stick fixed on his mouth as he smoked his life out.

A tinge of fear could be seen in this men’s eyes while staring at him.

“Can you help assassinate someone? the guy is very dangerous, but we know he can’t escape your grasp, you are a pro yourself.”

Mr. Fox said, as if booth licking.

“What is the name and drop his picture.”

He said casually as if making everything brief, while paying more attention to his pipe.

“Firstly, the guy has no real public picture and is known as Merciless and here is a symbol of his operations.”

He said displaying Merciless normal code.

Suddenly, the young man who had been smoking 🚬carefreelly suddenly sprang up, as fear and dread registered deeply in his eyes, he was even shaking at the same time.

“What did you just call him?”

He asked again as sweats could be seen welling up.

“Merciless.”

The five of them echoed as they all sat up and looked startled, at the action of this internationally recognized assassin, introduced by Sen. Edeth, who was known as Dango.

“Bastards!! Bastards!!! you guys brought me here to be killed by that insane guy? that mad beast ahhhhh!!! I owe this deep scar to him. the first time we crossed paths in Zimbabwe, in the “operation fight for all” and would have been butchered alive, if not that his companion known as Stryker (Blade) had to plead earnestly on my behalf. Do you guys realise how notorious that guy is? A guy who can sit atop a tree for weeks just to wait for his victims? you guys really gat your hands full. hehehehehe!! I’m out of this.”

He said pulling down his cow boy hat to reveal a very bloody scar, inflicted on him by Charles with a dagger that he stabbed into his head many a times.

They all shivered when they saw that, while Dango immediately made his way off the building.

That was just the deterrence they had all been waiting for, as what they were against at made them tremble.

“I’m travelling out of this damn country asap.”

One of the old men said decisively.

“and me tooo, early tomorrow morning I’m booking a flight off this country.”

Mr. Fox said and the Two others nodded even though they didn’t talk.

“You guys ain’t going anywhere, we must finish what we started.”

Sen. Edeth said calmly, but a glint could be seen in his eyes, which looked rather evil and dangerous.
