EPISODE 27
Charles, paid a visit to Sylvia’s home to see her and equally to know really the kind of person Mr. Smith was, in reality he had plans to kill him. but for Sylvia’s sake he really held back, but he knew if any of this major stuff had anything to do with Mr. Smith too much, then he would really have to offend Sylvia.

Charles had appeared in a clean haircut, a black suit, and an Italian shoe to match, with a black spectacle. As he looked particularly cute and graceful. in fact the scene of him stepping down from his car can just be described as mesmerizing and mind blowing.

He was esc-rted into the house by the bodyguard, under Mr. Smith’s order and led into a very spacious sitting room.
“Welcome young man.”
A baritone voice resounded, as Mr. Smith could be seen walking downstairs, wearing a native attire.

Charles, immediately got up as he made a slight bow, while greeting and shaking hands with him. He smiled at Sylvia who was trailing behind her father.

“Charles welcome to my humble home. Charles meet my dad and dad meet Charles.”
Sylvia said while beaming.
“Ohhhhhh!! so you are Charles, that’s wonderful, seems like I have seen you somewhere before, you look kinda familiar. My daughter has been singing your name like a song all this.”

Mr. Smith said as he looked at Charles meaningfully while equally smiling.

“Ohhhhhh sir!”
Charles said as he was a bit loss for words.

“Yes sir, actually we have met once, in the executive meeting involving you and Mr. Jeff.”

Charles said, and looking at him sharply to see his reaction, but Mr. Smith was unusually calm, like he never cared.

“Yeah! that’s true. Ehhhhm!!. My daughter told me a bit about yourself.”
He said.

” Actually sir, I love your daughter very much and would equally love to have her as the mother of my unborn kids. just that for all this it’s necessary to seek the consent of the parents, according to our Igbo tradition.”
Charles said, as he looked quite nervous, even Sylvia who was beside her father was equally nervous. As she tightly held her father’s hand. Mr. Smith just let out a knowing smile.

“Charles actually, from my observations of you, you are a good boy, but she is my only daughter and who she should marry, would equally have what it takes to, but I think you really hit the mark, and I won’t equally stand in the way of my daughter’s happiness. But if you break my daughters heart I won’t lay you off.”
She said smiling but equally firmly.

Sylvia smiled giddily, which induced a protracted laughter from her father.

Charles was equally all smiles, as he thanked Mr. Smith, and his impression of Mr. Smith, skyrocketed to a positive one, a bit.

As they were still talking and laughing merrily, the door creaked open and a figure walked in surprisingly, it was Mr. Jeff.

Charles, was clearly surprised and stupefied as he stared at Me. Jeff and it was quite obvious he came in peace, Jeff, was equally shocked to see Charles there too, but equally recollected himself, while he found a seat beside Charles and sat.

“How come?”
Charles asked him, as surprise still lingered.

“Hehehehehe!!! let’s just say an enemy to my enemy is my friend.”
Jeff said, swaggering.

“I still don’t get it.”
Charles said.
“OK, young man, here it is. I am being controlled by Sen. Edeth, to do things I really don’t fancy for twelve years now and I hate him to the bone and Jeff here has his parents killed by him also, so you see we have a common goal and that’s to wipe the bastard off the map. you get now?”
Mr. Smith explained and Charles smiled and nodded, as things became even more clearer .
“And Charles you are welcomed to join us.”
Jeff said.
“OK then. I still have Blade to avenge. of recent I have been making some investigations on him and here is what I got about him and coincidentally you guys were into his case too and that makes us even and the wh0le stuff easier.”
Charles said as, he explained all his findings to them.
