“Your face reminds me of someone.”
He gently said while staring at her.
“Really?”
Sharon said smiling, as she couldn’t help but fell a kind of nervous.

She had one time, had a secret crush on Charles too but, when she found how badly Syvia’s own love for home was and to avoid two friends fighting over a guy. She had to secretly get rid of the feelings. Though she still has a little.

But, this new guy with Charles was really way too funny and a kind of too cute that really makes you cherish every few seconds you have with him. Unlike Charles who was gentle, but overly that rom-ntic guy that can make your p-nts w-t underneath with his smiles and approach.

They both chatted happily as if they had been friends from childhood, ignoring the blaring music.

Charles sat in his bedroom, it has been less than and hour and a half, that they came back from the party. He couldn’t help but agree that today was really a blast, especially so for him who was in the company of a beauty through the night.

Charles knew that he can’t keep on lying to himself. To him all this while he would always make himself believe that what he felt for Sylvia was just likeness and nothing much, but he knew that this has far much to do with love than mere likeness.

He smiled gently when the image of Sylvia reflects in his minds eyes.

He brought out his phone 📱 and texted.

“Good evening dear. Thanks for today, you really made my night.”
He typed and pressed the send icon.

He waited expectantly for her to reply.
After a long time, without her replying. He got up and headed for the bathroom to take a cool bath 🛀.

Sylvia, who was in her room, switched of her bedside lamp and covered herself with the duvet to catch some sleep, when the blaring of a message made a popping sound in her phone.

She grumbled and picked up her phone, but when she saw who sent the message, sleep fled from her eye as she opened the SMS, she couldn’t help but smile after she read it through. She wanted to reply him, but after typing it she deleted it and decided to waste some time.

The reason for her action was so that she wouldn’t appear as if too desperate to reply.

After like fifteen minutes, She replied him with a smiling emoji and “It’s my pleasure dear, you are a perfect gentleman.”
She sent it and after sending she somehow regretted it.
“Perfect gentleman? Who does that? How could I be so rushy not even understanding my own usage of words. Just pray he doesn’t see it in another light.”
She muttered while waiting for his reply.

After the news that Mrs. Caroline has decided to let go off her position as a contestant for the gubernatorial seat and rather acting as a supporter to Jeff.

The seven old men issued an invite to meet with them secretly.

Jeff was at first reluctant to grace the invite, for fear of being physically harmed or their manipulating a thing or two behind the scenes. But his political mentor who was his father’s good friend when he was alive, he is a top notch political character in the country told him.
“This is all a game, don’t show them that you disdain or are afraid of them. match them gaze to gaze, but don’t threaten them, even if you wanna criticize them do so indirectly. That they invited you for talk means that they hold you in high esteem and feel a sense of threat from you and don’t prove them wrong by acting a fool, but try being cordial and maintain that sense of civility unless they broke it themselves. Mind what you say there, because they might use it for public interest and secondly take no gift, monetary or in kind, that might be a trap, because one of the guards there sure is videoing everything going on according to plan.”
His mentor called Mr. Greg said.

He had already sent his wife and child to Canada to stay with cousin sister.

What he needed at least at this moment is for anyone dear to him not to be engulfed or embroiled in this cross fire.

He knew he would never forgive himself if anything happens to his wife and kid, hence, he took the necessary step.
