CHAPTER 39&40

“So we’ve been hanging out for a little while, and i’m starting to have feelings for you. Would you like to be my girlfriend?”she widened her eyes, then narrowed them in an attempt to focus.

He stretched forte his left hand, and wrapped it around hers, romantically.

“But–“he placed a hand on her lip, to prevent her from speaking further.

He sighed exasperatedly…

“I know what you’re about to say, you need time right?, but that’s what ion have. Please say YES, i promise to treat you like the princess you are, don’t say NO to this face!”he pouted cutely, she chuckled softly.

“I wasn’t planning on saying that si**y, of course i won’t reject it, have been waiting for this moment my whole life!”she replied modestly, looking into his eyes, with so much love in hers.

He swallowed past the lump in his throat…

“So is that a YES?”gracious was so blissful, she pulled him up with her, hugged him and whispered into his right ear.

“She said YES, she said YES!!!”ji-ho carried gracious into his arms, and started whirling her.

“Ji-ho please put me down!!”she pleaded, and he blushed, his name sounded great the way she pronounced it.

She caught him smiling, and furrowed her brows in confusion.

“Why are you smiling sheepishly?”he put her down, took her hand, and placed it on his waist.

“My voice sounds so s*xy coming from those cute lips of yours”her cheeks turned tomatoes instantly, she’s blushing hard.

“Cough, cough, cough!!”a certain someone teased, interrupting the special moment.

Gracious frowned, and rolled her eyes at her…

“How long have you been spying on us nov?”she covered her face in embarrasment, and took in her bottom lip.

“Long enough to know that you guys are a “thing“, whooopie!, in your face amber!, YES!!!”they all bursted into laughter, november is so not funny.

Ji-ho suddenly paused, and held up a guilty face, he scratched his brows nervously.

“There’s one last thing you need to know, don’t k**l me ok!!”gracious placed her full focus on him.

“Hehehe, am outta here, i will be no accomplice to mu*der”she gave gracious a quick hug, almost thirty minutes though, then ran as fast as her tiny legs could take her.

“You’ve had your first kiss right?, no don’t answer that. The thing is, that night, the rude stranger that broke into your room was me. I just wanted answers ok, but it made me realize how much you mean to me, do you forgive me?”her eyes widened, she jammed her hands into her purse, and slipped out her phone.

“What are you doing?”his hands were dug into his pocket, his pose made him look more adorable.

“Am calling 911 in case of anything, cause i’ll be the one to k**l you myself!!”she bent and picked her boots, before chasing him round the bench, trying to aim for his head.

A WEEK LATER>HIDDEN~VILLE HIGH, GRAND HALL**

👥 They’re taking ages, my butt hurts a lot!!!.

👥 We were supposed to be outta here thirty minutes ago, but the show hasn’t even started!!!

👥 Pfffft, this is so unbearable!!!

Their jaws were clenched, they weren’t smiling one bit.

The hall is filled with multitude of people, which is also known as the auditorium.

It has a sound-proof system in it such that any voice or sound in it does not echo awfully.

It is situated in the main building in the centre of the school, with five doors and a number of windows.

It is air-conditioned but has electric fans also which are put to work if ever the AC system fails.

They are also worked with a generator when there is an electric breakdown and the AC system does not work.

There is a vast dais at the end of the hall.

The dais is quite high, and there are stairs to climb it has a curtain for dramatic performances.

There is also a lecture stand there for the speakers, a mike is there which is put to use when necessary.

At the time of the “function“, sofas and chairs were installed on the stage, that is, dais.

Chairs and benches were then also installed in the entire hall for students.

Only participants, senior teachers and VIPs sit on the sofas and chairs on the dais.

“We’re so sorry for the wait, we had problems with the lights, but they’re fixed now!. Let’s give it up for the “AG“ girls!!”the eloquent orator spoke, with a mike in his hands.

Their faces brightened up a bit, they’re so excited about the tremendous performance.

Taking the stage with him during the show, amber and galaxy stepped out from back stage, wearing studded white floral tops, black denim skirt, and fun sunnies.

They looked extremely dashing…

“Who’s ready to rock n roll?”the audience replied with cheers, as the orator left the stage, and they picked the microphones.

🎼 AMBER___All smiles, i know what it takes to f**l this town, i’ll do it ’til the sun goes down and all through the night time.

🎼 GALAXY___Oh yeah, oh yeah, i’ll tell you what you wanna hear, leave my sunglasses on while i shed a tear it’s never the right time, yeah, yeah.

🎼 AMBER___I put my armor on, show you how strong how i am, i put my armor on, i’ll show you that i am.

🎼 AMBER & GALAXY___I’m unstoppable, i’m a porsche with no brakes, i’m invincible, yeah, i win every single game.

🎼 GALAXY___I’m so powerful, i don’t need batteries to play, i’m so confident, yeah, i’m unstoppable today.

🎼 AMBER___Unstoppable today Unstoppable today Unstoppable today i’m unstoppable today.

🎼 AMBER & GALAXY___ Break down, only alone i will cry on out, you’ll never see what’s hiding out hiding out deep down.

🎼 AMBER___ Yeah, yeah i know, i’ve heard that to let your feelings go, is the only way to make friendships grow, but i’m too afraid now.

🎼 GALAXY___Yeah, yeah i put my armor on, show you how strong how i am i put my armor on, i’ll show you that i am.

🎼 AMBER___ I’m unstoppable, i’m a porsche with no breaks i’m invincible. Yeah, i win every single game, i’m so powerful i don’t need batteries to play i’m so confident.

🎼 AMBER & GALAXY___ Yeah, I’m unstoppable today, unstoppable today, unstoppable today.

The crowds cheered, same even fainted, as the music came to an end.

Amber’s face brightened up, it was really hard not to notice her, because her face was filled with make-up.

“That was an amazing show from the “AG“ girls, now i bring to you, ji-ho, who’s playing alone today!!”.

If yelling could bring down a building, then it would have turned to shreds.

👥 OMG, he’s so handsome!!..

👥 My legs are so shaky, gosh!!.

👥 Oppa!!, oppa!!!

He stepped out on stage, dressed in all black, his lush hair falling right onto his face.

The orator left the stage once again, leaving ji-ho to give out a wonderful performance.

His voice blended with the tunes, he sounded like a true artist, people were dumbstruck.

He went on, and on, till it finally came to an end.

As he vacated the stage, he was given standing ovations.

Many other bands performed too, and they were finally left with just one band.

A singles though…

“We’ve almost come to an end the show, i’ll like to introduce the last but not the least member, Sanyaolu gracious!!”.

Gracious had a black one shoulder h*t dress on, with black shoes for the finishing touches.

Everybody were stunned, they’d never seen her in a perfect fitting dress, of course november was responsible for it.

Amber scoffed at the sight, and snapped her hair off her face.

“Show off!”she muttered, rolling her eyes weirdly.

“Am so happy to be here, i may not be the best, but i’ll like to share my talents with you all”she dropped the Mike roughly, and fixed earpiece in her ears.

🎼 Hide away, they say ’cause we don’t want your broken parts, i’ve learned to be ashamed of all my scars, run away, they say no one’ll love you as you are.

🎼 But i won’t let them break me down to dust, i know that there’s a place for us, for we are glorious.

She moved her hips, her whole body moved from south-to-west, sharing her assets with the whole establishment.

The crowds were impressed, amber was no exception, she couldn’t deny that gracious was really good.

Droplets of sweat were all over her face, that was finally the end, the room turned silent.

Gracious was quit expectant to not be applauded, but it was all waved off, when everyone rose to their feet, and gave her standing ovations.

👥 Ohh!, my!, i nearly cried!.

👥 We’ve got ourselves a winner, gracious!, gracious!.

👥 This is so impressive, you’re sure talented!.

The orator strode back in, with a wide smile on his face.

He’s never heard such an angelic voice, the judges were impressed too.

He cleared his throat…

“The show has finally come to an end, and we’ll be announcing the winners in two minutes”he brought out on envelope from his coat, and unwrapped it, gazing through the content.

“And the winners are—“he paused for over five minutes, keeping them in an unbearable suspense.

He chuckled loudly, at their murmurings…

“And the winners are, ji-ho and gracious!!”amber blinked continuously, and rubbed the back of her ears, just to make sure she was hearing the right thing.

They were all standing on stage, and both ji-ho and gracious were awarded with a trophy, with rose petals all over them.

Amber almost lost it, she felt like breaking bones.

How could a total nobody win?, she did her absolute best, so how come?.

Billy sensed something, he hurriedly rushed up stage and stood beside her.

He knew she was going to do something crazy, and she almost did!.

She aimed for gracious hair, but billy held her in time, and pulled her out with him.

“B*tch, you’re a total nobody, you don’t deserve anything, they’re all mine”she yelled as she was being pulled out.

“Are you ok?”ji-ho asked, as soon as amber was no longer in sight.

She nodded.

“YES!, YES!, I finally did it, we did it”she jumped on ji-ho, and everyone gasped.

👥 Huh?.

👥 Are my eyes deceiving me right now?.

👥 Get off him!!!

She realized her mistake, and got down immediately, ji-ho smiled.

He pulled her close to him, and claimed her lips, right in front of everyone.

“People are watching guys!, they’re saying weird things”november teased, causing them to break the kiss.

She always shows up at the wrong time…

“Why don’t we go celebrate?, just us and the guys. Like a date,!!”gracious blushed really heard, she’s never been to a date.

“I’ll choose the place, please”november pouted.

“Yeah sure!!”she jumped up and down, like a little kid.

4PM>WALTON MANSION**

“Yeah f**k me baby!!…”

“Take me to heaven!!…”

“Yeah that spot, don’t f**king stop!!…”

A sudden chime at the door interrupted the h*t make out.

Amber picked up her dress, and slid it on immediately.

“I thought you said your dad won’t be back till 6!!”billy said as he put on his clothes too.

Amber went to get the door herself, cause she’d sent the helps out a few hours ago.

“How may i help you?”three people forced their way in, amber frowned immediately.

There were two body~guards, and a young girl, maybe in her twenties.

“You have an hour to vacate this premises, else you’ll end up just like your father”amber scoffed.

One of the hefty guard slipped out a paper from his pants pocket, and handed it over to amber.

“Your father was arrested for money laundering, and snuggling of quack goods into my dad’s company!!”amber’s eyes widened, as she read through the sheets.

Her whole life was actually a lie, so hurtful.

She has always thought her dad owned a company, and now she finds out it’s not even his.

“You say what now?”she stared intently at the lady, she’d already lost her breath.

“Don’t you dare test my patience, just do as asked, and right now!!”.

Amber shuddered…

She ran upstairs immediately, and walked into her bedroom, slamming the door behind her.

“No!!, no!!, this can’t be happening to me!!, it must be a joke!!!”she fiddled with the elm of her dress, and kicked her wardrobe open.

AT THE CINEMA**

“AWW, don’t you dare steal my popcorn, it’s mine not yours!”gracious pouted, as ji-ho took a handful of her popcorn.

He rolled his eyes at his childish girlfriend…

She’s so obsessed with that…

There were a lot of hustle and bustle in front of the cinema hall, before the start of the movie.

Young boys and girls dressed in colorful clothes, were all cuddled up, ready to watch the movie.

The walls of the cinema house were found littered with cine posters, it itself is tastefully decorated with multi-colored flags, posters, and paintings.

Before the film started, the film fans looked at the advertisements of the latest films.

The whole atmosphere in, and around the cinema hall was charged with joy and excitement.

Pickpockets, and eve-teasers tried to create trouble for the cinema authorities.

The policemen on duty tried to control the situation every time there was trouble.

As the cinema bell goes, the film fans rushed in.

All the glamour walked in, ji-yoo, aiden and ji-hu weren’t left out.

“Come sit here guys, there’s a vacant place for you three!!”they walked in with hurried steps, cause they were starting to cause distractions.

Ji-yoo and aiden sat beside each other, while ji-hu took a spot beside november, she gulped hard.

“Hey!!”he said politely, and she couldn’t control the blush.

“OMG, DID HE JUST SPEAK TO ME?, WHOOOPIE, BEST DAY EVER!!”she thought inwardly, her heart was leaping hard against her chest.

Ji-hu chuckled at her strange reaction.

“Girlie what’s this film about?, i don’t even know the title”november turned to her with a creepy face.

“Well,, it’s the film have been telling you about, firestarter. It is a “2022“ American science fiction horror film directed by Keith Thomas, from a screenplay by Scott Teems, based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King and serving as a remake of the 1984 film adaptation. “Yeah, yeah, you too scary cat!!”aiden muttered into ji-hu’s ears, and he blushed too.

November and ji-hu were totally left out, she was so uncomfortable.

“I’ll be back in a sec, please excuse me”she made her way out of there, and ji-hu followed behind, without her consent.

“Hehehe, i can’t wait for them too hook up, it’ll be really amazing!!”gracious yelled at the top of her voice.

“Shut the f**k up loudmouth!”a brunette seats away lashes out on her, she muttered a “sorry“.

“Crazy organ get yourself together, he doesn’t like me back, so what’s the point?”november muttered, as she leaned on the wall, her eyes shut.

She’s in the mini living~room, that leads to the ladies restroom.

“You okay?, why did you leave that way?”he heart skipped a beat, no one needed to tell her who that was.

She flickered her eyes opened, and found him so close, their noses were touching.

“W..h..a..t a..r..e y..ou..d..oi..ng?”she stammered, as he inched closer, staring down at her lips.

They were so tempting, the fire that grew in him couldn’t be quenched.

“Just watch me, and sh*t up!”he teased the bottom of her lips with his fingers, she mo*ned, reasons well known to her.

“Please stop, just stop!”she tried to step away, but he pushed her backwards, caging her on the wall.

She swallowed past the lump in her throat…

Her voice was lost, her breath itched, and her eyes are gazing around all-of- him.

“Your mouth is saying one thing, and your body is saying another, are you nervous?”he licked her earlobe, she felt his wet tongue on it.

He raised her head to meet his, so she could be looking directly into his eyes.

“I want to kiss you!!!”november’s eyes widened in horror, she took in her bottom lip.

“Wait what?”without further explanations, he claimed her lips, kissing her like his life depended on it.

November couldn’t help but m*an, as he shoved his tongue into her mouth to meet with hers, they danced tango.

He paused, and trailed wet kisses on her neck, leaving lots of hickeys.

November found it hard to breathe, he was doing w*ird things to her body.

Her panties were already soaked, she’s dripping w*t for him.

“You want me as much as i want you right?, right?”he slid a finger into her blouse, and squeezed her br°°st.

November lost it completely….

She gave him full control over her body, her lips, her b°°bs, everything.

He suddenly paused, and she furrowed her brows….

“We can’t do this here, i want this to be special, i think i love you November!”she took in deep breaths, and mentally slapped herself.

She was c*azy to think he’ll make out with her right there, so d**b.

“Let’s go, am sure our friends will be waiting!!”he entwined their hands,and walked out with her.

When they got back, everyone (ji-ho, ji-yoo, aiden & gracious) had smiles on their faces.

“How was it?, i could almost hear your m*and from here!”aiden teased naughtily, november smacked his shoulders.

“Eww, you’re n*ughty!!”

“N*ughty is my middle name!!”ji-yoo frowned, and looked elsewhere.

“Maybe not!!”they bursted into laughter, receiving scoldings in return.

“Get out!!!”a cinema authority yelled, and they all rose to their feet.

“Says who?”he picked up a broom in sight, and they took to their heels.

Ji-yoo slipped on a lollipop, and fell to the ground

“Save me baby!, save me baby!”no one stopped, when he realized he was almost going to be caught, he stood back up, and ran as fast as his legs could take him.
