Episode 34
Title: THE MOLE IS A BUG

None of us dared to break the k-ss, it was like making up for lost time, we stayed hook to each other until we finally broke it and then she bursted into tears. ” Gabriel, you are alive?” She asked , ” Yes love, am alive, I never died, I wasn’t killed” I told her smiling, ” Gabriel, I miss you” She said crying h-rder and resting her head on my chest, ” I missed you too” I told her, ” Where have you been for two years? ” she asked me, ” I stayed in the jungle, I lived there for two years” I told her, ” You even look like a cave man, look at your beards” She smiled, ” Look at you, you have grown more beautiful and looking more s€×y, hey, I hope another man is not taking care of my wife?” I asked her laughing ” No, I took care of myself for you with the hope that one day you will return” She said turning around for me to have a clearer view of her. ” I can see you were really expecting me to return when you shut the bedroom door yesterday, of course you were really expecting” I told her laughing, she punched my chest playfully. ” You don’t just expect me to run into your hands, everyone thought you were dead” She told me, ” I saw another guy with you yesterday, where is he?” She asked me, ” He is my jungle friend, he is in the guest room resting” I told her and she nodded. ” Thank God for giving me a second chance” She said resting on my body, I lifted her up and carried her to the sitting room. ” Remember, you told my ghost you will change for good yesterday” I told her and she bursted into laughter, ” Yes and that’s a promise” She said as I sat down on the sofa with her on my laps, ” Am really sorry for all I did to you and all I caused you” She said bowing her head, ” Hmm , I am not forgiving you o” I told her smiling, she lifted her head up a little to look at my face, ” I know you have forgiven me” She smiled, ” I have not o” I told her, ” Please now, I was only being childish then, I have learnt my lesson now and am ready to change for good, please forgive me” She said placing her hand round my neck, ” Hmmm, are you sure?” I asked staring directly at her face, she nodded and twisted her mouth in the manner I like. ” Then, I forgive you” I told her smiling, ” Thank you” She said and busted into tears, ” No, Joy, enough of you crying, its okay” I said wiping her tears, ” Hey, in this part of the world, we call it tears of Joy” She told me, ” Oh, I see” I nodded and she hit my chest again. ” Let me go prepare breakfast, you guys must be hungry” She told me, ” You don’t need to ask my dear” I said as she got up my laps, ” Don’t miss me much” She said planting a k-ss on my l-ips before leaving, ” God please, let this change be for good” I prayed as I watched her sway her massive wa-ist away. I got up and headed for the guest room where Darlington was , ” You took long, how did it go?” He asked me, ” It was good man” I smiled, ” She believes you now?” He asked, ” Yes now, she is even cooking for us, come, she needs to see you” I told him, ” Am scared, I have never spoken to a girl since I was born ” he told me, ” Don’t worry bro, girls don’t bite” I drew him up as we made out of the room and headed to the sitting room waiting for Adanna who came in some minutes later. ” Hi, good morning ” Adanna greeted him as she came closer to us, ” Good morning ma’am” Darlington greeted while I pinched him, ” Just good morning Joy, why adding ma’am?” I asked him in a whisper, ” Oh, good morning Joy” Darlington greeted again, Adanna smiled. ” Am Darlington, I live in the…” I knew I had to interrupt him at this point, ” This is Darlington, my friend , we met at the Jungle” I told her, Darlington nodded bending his head low, “Oh, I see, its nice meeting you Darlington” She said, Darlington only nodded with his head still bent low, Adanna gave me that look like to ask ” Is your friend alright?” I turned to Darlington as scratched my head, ” Yes, he is perfectly fine, this is how he behaves when he is very hungry” I lied, ” Oh, am so sorry” Adanna said rushing back towards the kitchen, ” What’s wrong with you man?” I asked him, ” I don’t know, I have never spoken to a woman before talk more of a beautiful one like your wife” He said, I pitied him. ” See, ladies don’t bite, just feel free and talk to her, she can’t do a thing guy, she can’t beat you in a fight, so tell me, why are you scared?” I asked him, ” Okay, I will try compose myself now ” He said, I nodded. Adanna soon started to set the table, she had finished cooking. ” Don’t be shy man, just calm down, let’s go eat” I told him, ” Hey, am a man, am not scared” he told me. ” Okay guys food is ready come and eat” Adanna informed us, ” Thank you so much, have been starving” Darlington said, ” That’s my man” I whispered to myself.

It was the afternoon of the same day, we had all freshened up and we were in my garden where I and Adanna always relaxed every evening. I have succeeded in telling her all that happened, from when we came to rescue her to when I was taken to the jungle to be killed and how the girl which I suspect to be the Mole had set me free, and how I survived in the Jungle until I met Darlington, I told her everything that happened. ” Hmm, you really went through a lot” She told me, she was sitting on my laps and Darlington was just beside us, ” The problem now is getting the mole” Darlington said and Adanna nodded, ” Darlington , first help me beg my husband, tell him am sorry for the way I behaved when I realized he was a spy” Adanna told him, ” He has already forgiven you” Darlington smiled, ” Don’t mind her” I told him, ” Now the latest news is that my friend Israel is dead” I told her, ” Which Israel, the one I know?” She asked me, ” Yes ” I nodded as tears formed in my eyes, ” Who killed him? ” she asked in a cracking voice, ” Sir Jude, his boys killed him, he died for Newriton” I told her with tears falling off my eyes, ” It’s okay dear, stop crying” She told me as tears also fell off her eyes too, ” He lived as a hero, he will always be remembered” She said, I nodded and wiped her tears. ” It’s okay man, you have cried enough already” Darlington patted me. ” Wait” Adanna suddenly looked up at us, ” Gabriel, you said the mole was the one sent to kill you, a girl from Newriton that was on a mask?” She asked me, I nodded, ” And if I get you very clearly, she was there with you at Sir Jude Ike’s base when they captured you?” She asked, I nodded. ” And that same time, with her being there, they could still watch Newriton clearly through a screen?” She asked, ” Yes, where are you driving at?” I asked her, ” Dear look at this, if the girl was at Sir Jude Ike’s base and at the same time they could still watch Newriton through a screen, then the mole you are looking for is not actually a human being, THE MOLE IS A BUG” she told me.

Title: THIS NIGHT

I sprang up immediately Adanna told me that, she was right, the mole can’t be at Sir Jude’s base and also be at Newriton at the same time, there are many things to this. It either, there are two moles or the mole which happened to be at Sir Jude’s base bugged someone in Newriton or it has a bug planted somewhere in Newriton. ” I need to get to Newriton now” I told Adanna, ” Why?” She asked me, ” They are in danger, you can’t tell what will happen next” I told her, ” I don’t think you should go directly to Newriton, it will alert Sir Jude that you are around” Darlington told me, ” Yeah, that’s true, I think I have to go meet Alvana” I told them, ” That will be the best thing to do” Adanna added as I and Darlington got up, ” Adanna, you might need to come with us to convince him that I am not a ghost ” I said, she nodded . ” Let me even put a call to him and ask if he is at home” She said, ” Yes, but don’t tell him I am coming” I told her heading towards the house to change my dress, ” But Gabi, don’t you think you need to shave your beards?” She asked, ” Didn’t I tell you I was cloned? ” I asked her, she nodded. ” This beards will differentiate me from my clone, a clone does not grow” I told her, ” Very true ” She agreed as she placed her phone on her ear, I and Darlington went in. I change into a white shirt and red trousers, I took one of my guns with me so also did I give Darlington one also. I took one of my car keys and headed outside where Adanna was still waiting for us, ” He said he is at home” she informed us as we got out, ” Good, let’s not waste anymore time” I told her heading towards the car, ” Don’t you think I should have a gun too?” She asked staring at my wa-ist side where I had tucked the gun, I smiled at her and we were soon laughing. I drove off to Alvana’s house, even if I forget the road to anywhere else, not Alvana’s house. I stayed in the car with Darlington while Adanna went in to get Alvana, an element of surprise.

AS NARRATED BY ALVANA
It was now two days since Israel died, I was at home alone since my wife was still in the hospital receiving treatment. I could now walk without the wheel chair, I wasn’t paralysed initially, just a minor injury. As I sat alone in my sitting room, I tried remembering the scene I watched of how Gabriel killed Israel , the footage from the night israel died. I smell conspiracy somewhere, the Gabriel I saw that night on the screen has something strange about him, it has been two years since i last saw Gabriel before that night, but his face that night still looked the same way it was two years ago, he looked exactly the way he looked two years ago, was it that he did not grow, his face didn’t change, no beards, just the same way, humans are not like that, only those made in the lab are. The knock on my door interrupted my thought and I immediately stood up to answer, I knew who it was, it has to be Adanna, she was the only one I was expecting. I opened the door to see her smiling, I haven’t seen her smile for a long time , probably ever since her husband death. ” Alvana, how are you?” She asked me, ” Am fine dear, what brings you here today” I asked her smiling as I led her in,side, ” Wait, where is my friend, your wife?” She asked me, ” Hmm, a long story, she is not fine, she is admitted at Newriton, she had some minor injuries from our last mission” I told her, Adanna already knows who I am, so there is no point hiding anything from her. ” Oh sorry about that, I also heard of Israel’s death, am so sorry about that” She said, I was shocked. ” Who told you Israel is dead?” I asked her, ” That is the surprise I got for you, follow me” She said heading outside. ” What is it, tell me” I said as I stood up and followed her, ” Just come” She said and went out of the sitting room. I quickly opened the drawer under my table and took my small pistol from it, I hid it under my cloth. I can’t tell what she is up to, at times like this, you can’t trust anyone. I opened the door and followed her , she was heading towards a car parked in front of my house. I touched the well hidden gun as I approached the car, I could see a man on the driver’s seat, he had beards scattered round his face, his face seem familiar but I seem not to recognize him. As I got closer to the car, the man opened the door to the car and alighted, I could now see him, I recognized him at once, Gabriel. I stood still as he walked towards me, ” Adanna, is this really Gabriel or his ghost?” I asked her,” He is alive, he never died” She told me, ” Alvana, its me” Gabriel said to me as he approached me, ” The only reason am not running Gabriel is because Adanna is also here” I told him also moving closer to me, ” You have a story to tell bro” I said as I hugged him, ” Yeah, of course, but before then, we have a lot to discuss, Newriton is falling ” he said to me as another man got down from the car, ” Meet Darlington, my jungle Friend” He introduced the new man.

I narrated everything to Alvana, by now it was already evening, exactly 6:00pm in the evening. ” Why are we still wasting time here? We should be on our way to Newriton” Alvana told me getting up, ” Wait , will Newriton believe I didn’t kill Israel?” I asked Alvana, he had told me the story about how the cloned me killed Israel, ” Of course, your cloned self has no beards and obviously you couldn’t have grown so much beards just in two days” Alvana told me as he rushed into his room and came back later with three big guns , he handed me one which could be hung on the shoulder. ” There might me war this night, I guess so” Alvana told me as he handed Darlington another gun, ” I trust you because Gabriel also trust you, come with us” Alvana told him, ” Dear, stay here and keep calm, am coming back, I promise” I bent by Adanna who was staring at us worried, ” Honey, don’t leave me again, please come back” She told me and hugged me, ” I promise to come back” I smiled and touched her hair and k-ssed her forehead, ” Pray for us” I told her as I headed out of Alvana’s sitting room, ” Joy, take care of my house and feel comfortable” Alvana told her as we headed out, we entered into my car and we drove off.

” Are you guys ready? ” I asked my boys, ” Yes sir” They all shouted in harmony in their black vests, ” Tonight, we attack Newriton and finish them up” I told them again, Ann was by my side. ” We set out by 12:00am” I laughed, ” Yes sir” They shouted and dispersed.

Episode 36
Title:A Step Closer

We got to Newriton and alighted from the car with approximately the speed of light , “Alvana, wait” i stopped him, “yes, what is it? ” He asked me, ” I need a mask, we can’t tell where the bug is being planted, I can’t risk them getting my face , you know what that mean ” I told him and he nodded, ” Now the problem is i am not with any” He said, ” You can make a small mask from my garment, its light and you can see through it” Darlington said , I brought out a small knife and with it he cut a little part of his garment which I used to cover my face. It wasn’t a mask but at least, it was able to hide my identity. We walked into Newriton, it has been a long time, and I miss the atmosphere around Newriton and everything about it. The guys at the entrance of the jungle stopped us again but Alvana spoke to them and they allowed us pass. ” Gabriel you know what, I don’t think we should talk once we pass here, because anything we say, they can hear us” Darlington said, ” Hmm, Gabriel, your friend is right” Alvana concurred, ” I think we should use signs, our talking code” I told Alvana, ” But I don’t understand your talking code ” Darlington said, ” Don’t worry bro, you won’t be needing it” I patted him as we walked towards the centre of Newriton, the first thing I noticed was that the Mark Of Newriton was no longer there, ” it fell the moment Israel died” Alvana told me as he noticed how I stared at the s₱0t. ” That was a sign that a great one fell that day” I added, he nodded. I also saw the sculpture of me they had made, ” Only if they knew I am alive” I told Alvana, ” Everyone thought you were dead” he said and I nodded, we then walked silently to the the staff quarters where sir Ajan office was. Alvana silently pushed the door opened, I and Darlington followed him behind as he entered the office. ” Alvana, what a surprise” He shook hands with Alvana, ” Who are those? ” he asked looking from me to Darlington, Alvana went closer to me and whispered something in his ear, sir Ajan eyes opened wide in shock as he stared at me in disbelief, ” Don’t tell me Alvana” Sir Ajan said coming closer to me, he touched me and hugged me tight, ” Gabriel, is it really you?” He whispered to my ear as we hugged, ” Yes Sir Ajan, its me” I answered , ” I knew it, the Gabriel I trained has nothing with evil” he said still hugging me, this way, no bug will be able to hear us.

Time: 10:05pm
Location: Newriton
We were in one of the secret rooms of Newriton, I, Sir AJan, Darlington and Alvana. In this room, no bug will be able to get us, it is a specially made room for no one, it is of no use but today it was useful as a place for us to talk without being caught. I had explained all that happened to Sir Ajan, everything as it happened. ” Hmm, if there is a bug here, then its easy, we can use the bug detector” Sir Ajan told us, ” Our bugs has their specific name, using our bug detector will fish out the foreign bug” He told us, we nodded. ” This machine is at the I.C.T unit, it can only be operated from there” He told us again, ” Then let’s go to Gwen” I told him, ” Yeah, let’s go” He said and we got up, ” Remember, we don’t talk, we use signs” Alvana reminded us as we got to the I.C.T unit. ” Where is Tonia and Matt?” I asked him, ” They will meet us there, I have placed a call to them” he told me, ” Alvana good news, your wife will also meet us at the I.C.T unit, she is fine now” He patted Alvana, ” Darlington feel at home, its a good thing you choose to come help us fight the evil ones” He turned to Darlington, ” Its my pleasure sir Ajan ” Darlington bowed. Gwen was at the I.C.T unit when we got there, ” To what do I owe this visit Sir Ajan” Gwen asked staring at all of us, she stared strangely at the masked man in their midst, Me. ” Shhh” Sir Ajan signalled to her and went towards a small table where he took a pen and paper from, ” Put on the bug Detector ” He wrote on the paper and passed it to Gwen, she nodded and turned towards a big screen , She brought out a small keyboard and Punched the keys, soon , the big screen came on. It got connected and soon started to alight bugs , the first two bugs came on with the name ” Undercover” , that was the tag for all bugs and cameras present at Newriton. The following five also had the same tag. All the undercover bugs were marked by green dot. Suddenly, a red dot came into view on the screen,” That’s the bug” I whispered to Alvana, it had the tag “unknown” ” This is the foreign bug” Gwen told us, we all came closer and immediately the red dot started to blink. ” What is happening?” Sir Ajan asked Gwen, ” The bug is coming toward us” She said, sir Ajan stared at her confused, ” Gwen, we never trained you with the knowledge that a bug can move” Sir Ajan said to her, ” A bug can only move when it is on somebody ” Gwen countered, ” Who ?” I asked myself as the red dot continued to blink faster, ” Its approaching, its close by” Gwen said and just at that same moment, the door to the I.C.T unit opened, we all turned abruptly and pointed our guns at whosoever was coming in, it was Tonia, Morg-na and Matt. ” So, now, who is the mole?” Alvana asked me in a whisper.

Location: SIR JUDE’S BASE
TIME: 10:30pm
The young fighters could be seen with their guns and swords, they all stood at the bank of the big sea which was separated from the outside world by a bridge, this was Sir Jude Ike’s base. Four helicopters could be seen hovering just below the fighter who were all dressed in black, about six cars were also present at the scene. ” I see you guy taste for blood” A young man said to them, he is no one other than the great Daniel, ” Don’t worry, Newriton fall by dawn today, just about an hour thirty minutes more before we set out ” He continued, ” Relax, we have them all covered” He concluded laughing. He concluded what he was saying and went entered into a speed boat with which he use to get back to the big sh¡p, that was where Sir Jude was. In no time, he was at the sh¡p, he climbed into it and went into one of the numerous rooms, Sir Jude’s office. ” Sir, the boys are ready” he informed Sir Jude, ” Hmm, I want to see Newriton fall , I will be going with you guys” Sir  Jude smiled.

Episode 37
Title:The last Fight

” Wait, this means that the bug is on either of the three of them?” Sir Ajan asked Gwen, she nodded. ” first thing first, Gwen, deactivate the bug” Sir Ajan said to Gwen, we still had our guns pointed at the three of them. ” Sir Ajan, I Don’t think we should deactivate the bug, we can make it work for us, I can make this bug get connected to their base” Gwen said, ” Then do that fast” Sir Ajan said turning to face Matt, Tonia and Morg-na. ” What is going on here, why are you guys pointing your guns at us, who are these strange guys?” Morg-na asked referring to myself and Darlington, ” Can’t talk until the bug get connected to their own base” Sir Ajan answered, ” This is freaking me out, what is happening here?” Tonia asked, ” Gwen, can they still hear or see us over there?” Sir Ajan asked , ” No sir, I stopped it since I noticed the bug” Gwen answered. ” Good girl, now get us connected over there” Sir Ajan ordered her and she set to work immediately. ” Now for the mystery, the bug which have been granting Sir Jude access to us has been found to be one of the three of you” Sir Ajan said , ” I don’t know who, now I want to believe that whosoever it is had been bugged, I don’t want to believe you are a mole” Sir Ajan said, ” Whosoever it is isn’t a mole, the mole is at Sir Jude’s base, and the mole is responsible for planting the bug on whosoever it is on now” I told Sir Ajan, ” I agree with Gabriel” Alvana said, ” Excuse me, which Gabriel are you guys talking about?” Matt who had been quiet all through asked, ” Matt, it’s me” I said pulling off my mask, ” Am confused here, Gabriel killed Israel and here are you guy…..” Morg-na was saying but sir Ajan interrupted, ” That one was cloned, Matt if you had observed that guy that night, you will notice it had the face and character of the Gabriel of two years ago” Sir Ajan said, Matt nodded. ” That was a cloned Gabriel ” Sir Ajan concluded. ” But Gabriel is meant to be dead” Morg-na put in, ” I have a lot of explanation to do after today, let finish up first” I told them. ” Now , one of the three of you have been bugged, we are to get who among you now” Sir Ajan started, ” I will like you guys to step forward one after the other, as you come closer, the red dot tend to blink” Sir Ajan told them. Matt came forward first and nothing happened, Tonia was the next, the moment she took a step, the dot blinked, ” take another step Tonia” Sir Ajan said and she obeyed, the dot blinked once more. ” Tonia, you have been bugged all this while” Sir Ajan said sitting on one of the chairs, I, Darlington and Alvana also sat. ” How? I am not bugged” Tonia countered, ” But you just saw it for yourself, you have lived with a bug all this while, you never knew” Sir Ajan hissed, ” Gwen bring the screening stick, let get which part of the body the bug is” Sir Ajan said as Gwen passed him a small rod like stuff. He pressed a switch on it and the stick made a beeping sound, he then went towards Tonia. ” Your hands up” he ordered her as he passed the stick down her body, the stick didn’t detect anything and then he went further to screen her back, as he brought the stick to the level of her back neck, the stick made a beeping sound, ” Bug detected” Sir Ajan said, ” It is so small that you won’t feel it, give me the magnifying glass ” Sir Ajan ordered no one in particular, Gwen passed it to him and he was able to pull the tiny bug off Tonia’s neck, he gave the stuff which we could hærdly see to Gwen who placed it on a magnifying machine, ” From all observations, this bug has been on you for about two years now” Gwen said, ” Wait, I remember” Tonia said moving forward, ” Christiana planted it on me” She said, ” Yes, she did, Sir Ajan, remember when you asked me to go investigate her, when I was about to bug her, I hugged her. In the course of the hugging, I noticed her hand going up my head but I never took it serious, Christiana did this to me” Tonia said while we all listened, as Tonia finished her story, the voice of the girl that was sent to kill me in the jungle finally became familiar, it was Christiana’s voice. ” I knew that girl was never to be trusted” Alvana whispered to me, ” I can’t believe this yet until it is proven” Sir Ajan said, ” Sir Ajan remember something, a bug was also found on you once, have there been anytime you hugged Christiana?” Matt asked and we all except Sir Ajan busted into laughter, ” Yes, Yes, there was once upon a time when Christiana came to me begging to take her back, she hugged me that day, that was it, She bugged me” Sir Ajan shouted. ” Sir Ajan, am not able to connect them to us” Gwen said in a calm voice, ” Then connect them by using Christiana’s phone, we have her number, we just need someone to put a call to her from that, they can get connected to us” Alvana said, ” That’s true, Morg-na, call her” Sir Ajan ordered, Morg-na brought out her phone and dialed Christiana’s number, ” She isn’t picking up” Morg-na said after two trials, ” We dont need her to pick up, just calling her alone is enough” Gwen said setting to work immediately, it took like 15 minutes before she shouted, ” Connected” She shouted joyfully as a more bigger screen came on, the first thing that could be heard was the rustling of water, and then it became visual, young people in all black could be seen, they were like they were preparing for war. ” Anyway we can hear what they are saying? ” Sir Ajan asked, ” Yes” Gwen said and increased the volume, ” They are coming for us” Sir Ajan said, ” We need not to wait, let take them by surprise, take the helicopters, the cars and bikes, we are going to there before they get here” Sir Ajan said, ” Gwen, inform all students to stay alert, tell them to keep watch” Sir Ajan Informed her, ” Yes Sir” Gwen answered. ” You guys should go change, we need to get there” Sir Ajan said patting me, ” They plan to set out by 12:00am, now is 11:10pm, we won’t wait for them to come, we go to them” Sir Ajan said as we walked out towards the changing room, ” Gwen, remain here to alert us on their next move” Sir Ajan informed her.
