“Hey. So whats this about?”. Emilia asked as she strolled over to the swimming pool.

“Brianna”. I replied coldly. “That bitch is on my nerves all the time”.

Emilia glanced at me. “Whats wrong? Is it about what happened at that mall weeks ago?”.

“I can’t forget that. And to think she used her baby bump as a way of taunting me”.

“Want a shot?”.

I looked sideways at her and she handed me a cigarette lighting it up for me. I took a swig out of it.

“So. What do we do?”.

“She is damn pissing me off”. I clenched my fists. “I’m supposed to be the one with Liam’s love but she just had to come along and ruin it for me”.

“And to think that Liam would chose her over you is infuriating. I’m with you on this one, Lauren”.

“That isn’t the main reason why I called you here anyways”.

“Then why?”.

I frowned deeply. “I told my Dad that she’s pregnant”.

“And? What did he say?”.

“I was expecting him to speak ill of her as always but this was the opposite. That old man is thinking of reconciling with her”.

Emilia gaped. “What? Come on, Lauren, tell me that has got to be a joke”.

“Its no joke, girl. He’s even thinking of trying to talk to her but I’m not gonna let that happen”.

“I’m thinking he wants to reconcile because she’s carrying his grandchild”. Emilia suggested.

“It doesn’t matter if she’s carrying his grand child or not. I’m supposed to be the one with the love and affection, she’s just a bastard”.

I watched as Emilia jumped into the pool and her swimsuit got w-t immediately. She floated up swimming over to my side.

“So what do you have in mind?”.

I smirked evilly. “Brianna used that baby to taunt me. She will regret ever doing that”.

“I’m liking where you are going with this, Lauren”.

“And for starters, I’m going to make sure that when she gives birth”. I laughed. “I’ll have that baby”.

“Huh? What are you planning?”.

“Oh. You’ll know in due time, Emilia”.

“Lauren? If I don’t know the plan then how are you going to do it on your own? You do need help in carrying it out”.

I smiled to myself. I have help alright, in the form of Nicholas Quinn.

He’s so obsessed with Brianna which makes me wonder why I didn’t notice that all this while.

The motherf×¢ker thinks that the child that Brianna is carrying is his so I’m going to use that to my advantage.

Once Brianna gives birth, then that baby will suddenly disappear. I enjoy watching Brianna grieve in misery while Nick gets the poor little baby.

My phone beeped immediately causing me to snap out of my thoughts and glanced at it on the table beside me.

“Who’s that?”. Emilia asked me walking out of the water.

I smiled a little. “Francine”.

“Who the hell is Francine and why are you smiling like that?”.

“Francine is a maid that I paid off in Liam’s mansion to inform me of everything going on in there”.

Emilia arched her eyebrows. “Did she say any juicy stuffs?”.

“Liam’s ex-wife, Trisha Lynn is back”.

“Holy shit!!”. She cussed. “Brianna is so gonna be depressed”.

“And guess what?”. I giggled happily. “He never divorce her before she ran away so Trisha Lynn is still Trisha Paige”.

Emilia bursted into laughter. “Honestly, that is going to stress our dear Brianna out”.

“And I’m even f×¢king sure that not even Chloe can help her out from this mess”.

“Wow. So Liam’s presumed wife is back in the picture”.

“And to tip the hat off, Liam’s mother came this morning and she doesn’t even like my step sister one little bit”.

“It just keeps on getting better”.

I laughed along. “I tell you, girl and thats what I want. Merry Christmas to me”.

🍭Chloe Houston🍭
I opened the door and was stunned to see Lucas and Lili at my doorstep. They came in and I closed the door behind them still surprised.

“Mommy”. Lili ran towards Brianna hugging her.

Brie held her close. “Baby. What are you doing here?”.

“Uncle Lucas brought me here to meet you and baby Jana”.

I watched as Lili k×ssed Brie’s baby bump which is just so sweet. They sat together on the couch as Lili wouldn’t let go of her.

I glanced at Lucas wanting him to explain why he brought Lili here but he shrugged. I sighed and walked past Brie heading back to the kitchen.

“Chloe”.

I looked at him. “Lucas. Why is she here?”.

“I didn’t mean to bring her”.

“But you did”. I retorted. “What if Liam finds out his daughter is in my house?”.

“Trust me, he won’t get annoyed”.

“Gosh!!”. I sighed frustrated. “Thats not the point here”.

“I was driving and Liam called about Lilian being missing. After he cut the call, there was a sneeze and I looked back seeing her in my car”.

“So you are saying that Lili sneaked into your car without you knowing that she did?”.

“Precisely, thats the perfect explanation for all this”.

“Lucas”.

“Thats it, Chloe and she gave me this cute puppy dog eyes that I couldn’t resist, she wanted to meet Brianna so I had to bring her out”.

“Without her father’s knowledge?”. I asked him.

“I sent Liam a text minutes ago. He’s on his way here to come pick her up”.

“Why didn’t you just say No to Lili?”.

“How can I say No to a sweet little child like her?”.

I rolled my eyes. “I can say No”.

“So you smell good”. He said changing the subject.

“I don’t smell good”. I gestured towards the dishes. “Its what I’m cooking that does”.

“I never knew you were such a great cook”.

I shrugged. “You never asked”.

“So whats for dinner?”.

“Why are you asking? You ain’t eating out of it”.

“I’m spending the night here with you”.

“Not possible”. I refused bluntly. “I need to stay with Brie and make sure she’s okay”.

“Liam is coming back to take Lilian so he will probably take Brianna along as well”.

“Then lets wait till then”. I flashed him a smile.

He gr0×ned. “Come on, Chloe. You were the one who promised a week of Christmas of just us alone”.

“I’ll make it up to now”.

He smirked coming close. “Really?”.

“Hold up, hold on. I didn’t say that I’ll make it up to you in bed if thats what you are thinking about, Lucas Knights”.

“I wasn’t thinking abut that. Why are your thoughts so naughty, Chloe Houston”.

“Haha. Very funny”.

He chuckled lightly. “And you look so hot when being sarcastic”.

Only that sentence made my cheeks glow with blush. Oh gosh!! I’m blushing for him.

“So you’ll come back with me?”. Lili asked hopefully.

I sighed. “Baby, I don’t know yet”.

“But I want you to stay with me. You said you love me so why can’t you come back”.

I tucked her silky dark hair behind her ear thinking of what to say to her when the doorbell rang all of a sudden.

I glanced at it confused of who could that be. Almost immediately, Chloe came out of the kitchen with her cheeks all red while Lucas was behind her.

The doorbell rang again hastily and Chloe opened the door revealing Liam and his guards behind him. I frowned seeing his mother.

“Lilian”. He rushed towards Lili hugging her close to him.

“Daddy, don’t hug me”. She tried to wiggle out of his hold. “I’m angry at you”.

He looked at her. “Baby. Come on, I came all the way here just to find you and now you don’t wanna hug me?”.

“You hug Mommy first and then I hug you”.

Liam looked at her then at me, I avoided his gaze looking away. He sighed and then stood up standing in front of me.

“Daddy, hug her”. Lili continued. “You made Mommy angry, hug her so she can come back home with me and stop being angry”.

“Your Daddy didn’t make her angry”. Liam’s mother spoke up coming forward.

I raised my eyebrows as she spoke. What is she doing right now? What does she … ?

“I did”. She added.

“Oh”. Lili glanced at me. “Then you should hug my Mommy before I come with you”.

Liam’s mother looked at me. “Brianna. Can we talk?”.

I nodded standing up and then we walk to the other part of the living room where no one was.

“I can see my grand daughter is enamored with you”.

“I thought you were gonna render an apology to me”.

She scoffed. “I want to make something clear to you, thats it”.

“Which is?”.

“Stay away from my son, I’m begging you because the last thing I want is for Williams to end up with you”.

“What?”.

“My son needs a woman to help him, to add to his financial state and not someone to squander his hærd earned money”.

Her words hurt me so badly. She just said that I’ll squander Liam’s money? She just indirectly called me poor.

“How much do you need?”. She continued talking. “I can write you a check of any amount”.

“You should be ashamed of yourself, Mrs. Paige. Just because I’m not rich doesn’t mean I can’t be with Liam”.

“Isn’t it obvious?”.

“Really? What about your husband? You were wealthy and yet he cheated on you with my poor Mum. How about that?”.
