It’s better to die a loyal man than to live the rest of your life a traitor! Traitors are like rats 🐀 and their downfall always ends in misery.
After I learnt that Karanja had betrayed us, I vowed to hunt him down and make him pay.. Thanks to him, My cousin Solomon nearly died from his grave injuries and he’s barely recovering from his injuries , I had to hide him in a safe location in case someone tried to finish off. I tried looking for Karanja but the rat b-stard had disappeared and fled to God knows where but nevertheless, He’s bound out to come out sooner or later and when he does, I’ll deal with him.

But Karanja is just a small matter, The big rat was none other than Jerome himself, He must have used Karanja to get at us and as it turns out, We weren’t the only ones that were betrayed.
The other Drug mafias too were stabbed in the back and killed in the process, their loved ones were licking their wounds for their loss and if my guess is correct, they’re itching for revenge.
I recently found out that Jerome was desperately looking for Lisa and had put a bounty on her head, He had to go through a lot of effort to keep it a secret but his desperation exposed him, the good thing was nobody had a clue where Lisa was. But there was something that bothered me.. Why was Jerome so desperate in finding Lisa? Of course she killed his brother, it would make sense he’s looking for revenge but he’s not stupid enough to kill the daughter of a billionaire, there must be something about her that made him so desperate to find her and I’m going to find out what it is.
But in order to take down Jerome, I needed Allies that shared the same goal and interests as mine, so I went to see the son of one of the drug mafias, His name is Kwanza.

Kwanza is the only son of The late drug lord Peruzi, his father was among those that were killed and unlike his father… Kwanza was different, he had no affair with his father’s business and he pursued his own life, he became a business man but things didn’t go so well for him so he later joined the Black market here in Kenya and began to do some shady business deals, anything you want no matter how hærd it is.. He’s the man to talk to.

So Saturday afternoon, I went over to his place to talk things out with him, as soon as I got there, I realized the place was quiet crowded, I figured out it was some people who came to pay their respects to the family of the dead drug lord. After I proceeded into the house, I s₱0tted Kwanza amidst some people, before I could approach him, some guards halted me asking me what was my business for coming here.

Bodyguard 1 ➡ What brings you here!?

Tobi ➡ I’m here to see your boss.

Bodyguard 2 ➡ He’s busy at the moment. As you can see he has important guests. You should get lost.

Just as the bodyguard was about to spark into rage, Kwanza interfered and ordered his guards to allow me in, I smiled at their faces defiantly and walked in towards Kwanza, He excused himself from his guests and led me into a private room.
Kwanza and I knew each other back in the day but we weren’t friends, just acquaintances.

Kwanza ➡ Tobi Mingati!! It’s a surprise seeing you here after all these years.. It’s been a while since I last saw you… I don’t suppose you didn’t come to pay your respects to my father.

Tobi ➡ I’m sorry for your loss Kwanza! I really do.. But there’s something very important I’m here to discuss with you.

Kwanza ➡ And what is that about?

Kwanza ➡ And what about him?

Tobi ➡ I’m here for revenge but I’m not planning on killing him… I want to ruin him… I want to burn down everything he’s built. Jerome has been the virus affecting this community, he’s poisoned our youths with drugs and violence and not only that, he’s trying to gain control of very profitable merchandize and put everyone under his thumb.. He has the police in his pockets and almost everyone that will pose threat to him.. I know you don’t like Jerome and you certainly didn’t approve of what he did to your father but if Jerome isn’t stopped, he’ll certainly make a mess.

Kwanza ➡ So what are you proposing? You know Jerome is heavily covered from all sides.

Tobi ➡ I know but recently, I’ve been hearing some rumors that Jerome is desperately looking for a white woman whom I heard was responsible for his brother’s death… But I then heard something interesting, the lady is high profile… Very high profile.. I suspect there’s something about her cause he placed a heavy bounty on her head to anyone who brings her back alive.

Kwanza ➡ Hmmmm!

Tobi ➡ What?

Kwanza ➡ I too heard some rumors as well… According to my source, Jerome’s lost something very valuable.. very valuable and I believe whatever this thing, it’s connected to that White lady.

Tobi ➡ How valuable is this thing? What’s it worth to Jerome?

Kwanza ➡ this thing is worth his life… I don’t know what it is but if it gets into the wrong hands… Jerome will be ruined for life, he and his cronies will rot in prison and never see the light of day ever. And the sweet part is.. A mysterious federal agent is on the move to expose the drug chain here in this community, the problem nobody knows who he is.

Tobi ➡ Hmm… Supposing I can find this white woman.. What then?

Kwanza ➡ I doubt if you’ll find her, she’s probably long gone now.

Tobi ➡ We can’t be sure.. So are you going to join me in my quest?.

Kwanza ➡ I’m not sure.. After what happened to my father, I don’t think I’ll be able to trust anyone and that includes you.. So tell me why should I trust you? How do I know you’re not in cahoots with Jerome? After all you were once friends with the man.

Tobi ➡ I can’t blame you if you don’t trust anyone.. I myself don’t trust anyone as it is but there’s one thing I can say to you.. If you truly know me well enough, you’d know I’m not a traitor, I’m not a rat… And as for Jerome.. You should know pretty well, I have nothing to do with the guy anymore, our friendsh¡p ended years ago and what’s more the b-stard tried to kill my cousin and even tried to frame me for something I didn’t do.
I didn’t come here for you to trust me.. I just came here for your loyalty and deal with an enemy we both know and despise. You shouldn’t worry about me being corrupted with money.. But what I want to know is can I count on you? You’re a business man after all.

Kwanza looked at me for while and then sighed before giving me his answer.

Kwanza ➡ You’ve said quite enough.. Your character speaks highly for you.. I know I can trust you and you can count on me. But I do have one condition… If we succeed, I get to take the spoils of everything.. No splits.

Tobi ➡ Sure.. Besides I don’t care about the spoils.. All I want is to ruin that pig.. He’s done enough damage as it is. So what now?

Kwanza ➡ I’ll dig more about this valuable stuff of Jerome and I would do everything I can to find that agent..

Tobi ➡ Okay.. In the meantime.. Can you locate Karanja?
.

Kwanza ➡ What about him?.
.

Tobi ➡ He’s the traitor responsible for your father’s death… I’m sure he must have lured your father into his timely demise.. I tried to look for that rat but he’s disappeared.

Kwanza ➡ I see.. What are you going to do to him if I do find him?
.

Tobi ➡ Simple.. Give him what all traitors deserve. See you soon Kwanza.

Kwanza ➡ See you later Tobi.

After that, I went out of the room and soon left the house… On my way back home, I began to think of what Kwanza said and it all made sense.. Jerome was looking for Lisa because she took something of his but when I first saw her, she had nothing on her except her clothes and a jacket… It wouldn’t be wise to ask her about that else she’ll think I’m one of Jerome’s cronies, it’s better if I keep quiet about this and find a suitable way to get her to talk.
And Speaking of Lisa, things have taken a great turn for the both of us,.. I never thought I’d fall in love with a a white woman but what can I say? Lisa is an amazing woman, She’s sweet, nice and full of curiosity, I wouldn’t say she’s sharp but she’s a survivor.
What I like about her, is the way she embraces the African culture with passion and desire, She’s so carefree with people especially my family whom she spends so much time with whenever I’m at work.. Ever since we got closer to each other, She was starting to embrace the Kenyan Culture, and she would teach the kids in my parents house about the European way of life, she would tell them stories about England and some amazing tales about their countries history.. The kids loved having her around and so did she,.. Soon she began to get the admiration of the neighbors around my parents house because of her gentle manners. In order to keep her safe, I told her to lie about her name and everything about her but people aren’t to be trusted and with the bounty that Jerome placed on her head, I’m sure nobody would hesitate to tell Jerome about her location.
So while I was on my way home, thinking about Lisa, I s₱0tted Mumbi standing outside her car, she was smoking a cigar and was looking the other way around. I immediately recalled what she did to me weeks ago, so I crossed over to her side to meet her, as I was approaching her, Mumbi saw me and trembled with fear.

Mumbi ➡ Tobi.. How’s it been? Did you miss me?

I hesitated for a while before I agreed to what she said, We both entered her car and then drove away.

In that moment, Jerome’s phone rings interrupting his conversation with Tucker, He checks who the call is and freezes with shock, he quickly answers the phone and begins to sweat.
Meanwhile, Tucker stares at Jerome listening to what he was saying and after he was done with the call, he asked him who the caller was.

Tucker ➡ Who was that?

Jerome ➡ It’s the boss. He’s here in Kenya.. This isn’t good.

Tucker ➡ So? What did he say?
.

Jerome ➡ He wants me to meet him alone..

Tucker ➡ Can’t we go together?
.

Jerome ➡ No.. The boss is a very confidential man.. He wants his identity ti be know by me alone.

Jerome ➡ I can’t tell you that.. It’s confidential… You go on ahead and proceed to our plan.. I just have to find a way to calm the boss down. May God help me.
