Alexa’s pov 🎀

Calm.

It’s calm everywhere as we finally made it back to the pack.

There aren’t no kids running up and down the streets.. shops along the road to Xander’s mansion are closed.

And there are guards on every street… What in god’s name happened?

“Xander, why is everywhere so quiet?” I asked.

“Nothing, just a small rogue attack!”

I frown.

“A small rogue attack can make the largest pack so sad?”

He simply hums and increases his pace.

We made it to Xander’s mansion, he puts my arms around his neck to support myself.. while he reaches for the key under the flower pot outside.

I take the key from him and open the door but surprisingly, the door’s unlocked.

I raised an eyebrow at him.

“Maybe I didn’t have time to lock the door!” He explains and I sigh.

He steps in and immediately, we’re bombard with sorries from all corners… my mouth falls open.

I look around and realized everyone I know in the pack is here.. like everyone.

Aunt, aunt Kate, aunt May, uncle, Joyce and Janet, Jenna, Eleanor, Will, Micah and Mr Cam… They’re all here.

Xander walk pass them and help me sit on a sofa, immediately I’m seated, they pushed him away and surrounds me.

“Alexa, are you ok?”

“Are you having pains anywhere?”

“How are you feeling, darling? How are my grandpups?”

Well, I think I don’t need to tell you who asked that since you already know.

“Say something, Alexa, are you ok?” Aunt May asked.

I smiled at them and nod in response to all their questions.

“I’m fine!”

“Are you sure? Aren’t you feeling even a little bit uncomfortable?” Aunt asked.

“Aunt, I’m fine, I’m really fine. It’s just my foots…. ” I trail off.

Their eyes move to my foots.. Aunt and Micah gasp loudly, covering their mouths.

I frown and turn to Micah.. aunt reaction is normal but Micah’s.. he’s seen the injury before, why is he acting so surprised?

He sees my question gaze and laughs.

“It’s fun acting surprised!”

I roll my eyeballs.

“Drama lord!” I said.

Aunt’s sobbing draws my attention, I turn to her and almost burst into laughter.

She’s holding my legs tenderly and studying how bad it burned.

“Someone get the ointment!” She said to no one in particular.

I look around, though, I’m not looking for anything in particular but my gaze falls on uncle… He’s smiling but I can tell he’s in pain.

“Uncle, are you ok?” I asked.

“Yes, yes!”

“But you seem like you’re in pain!” I state.

“It’s just a minor wound, it’ll heal up in thirty minutes!” He replies.

I nod.

Xander finds his way back to the sofa and sits next to me, grunting quietly.. then I remembered he was stabbed and he’s deeply wounded.

“Aunt, please get the pack doctor to attend to Xander first, he’s heavily wounded!”

Xander shakes his head. I wanted to argue but he sends me a mind-link.

*I’m fine, baby.. the pack doctors are attending to the wounded fighters!*

*Oh!*

Now I know why the streets are so quiet, there was an attack.

*Did we lose any pack members?*
*I don’t know yet.. but it was bloody!*

I nod and lock gaze with Will, he smiles at me and I smile back appreciatively… He risked his life for me.

“All done!” Aunt said and gets up.

I look down and noticed she’s applied some ointment on my foots.

“Thanks, aunt!”

“You’re welcome, darling!”

Then something flashes my mind.

“Aunt, what about Diane?! And her mate?!”

“They’ll be banished!” Uncle said without wasting time.

I shake my head.

“No!”

“What do you mean no?” Xander asked me.

“Xander, Diane and her mate didn’t wanna be a traitor.. they were being blackmailed!”

They all stare at me with a confused expression.. well, except Xander, uncle and aunt!

“Antonio kidnapped their daughter and was using her against them… but sadly, Antonio killed their daughter…”

They wait for me to continue.

“… Uncle, they’ve suffered a great lost, please don’t send them away”

“Suffering a great lost doesn’t mean I should leave them in my pack!” Uncle said.

“You’re right, they did wrong but they later amended their ways!”

Uncle didn’t say anything, everyone just keep quiet and stares at me.

“Diane helped me find a way to rescue those captured pack members…she brought them back and got help to save me!”

They’re all still staring at me.

I find myself shrinking into the sofa under their gaze until uncle clears his throat.

“Fine, they’ll stay!”

I smiled. And release a yawn, I perceive myself and frown.

I’m tired and I smell like barbecue!

“Now, everyone should go back and rest… We’ll hold Xander’s coronation and Alexa’s induction in a few days!” Uncle said and heads out.

They all wished me quick recovery and left too.

Now it’s just Xander and I, he gets up and carry me in his arms.

“Now, let’s go bath you… You smell like barbecue!” He said.

I rolled my eyes. Tell me something I don’t know!

Few days later…! Induction/coronation ceremony…!

“Aunt, are you really sure I look ok?” I asked aunt Kate for the one thousand time!

Right now, we’re outside the big ballroom where my induction ceremony is taking place.

Xander’s coronation is already going on, he must be crowned first before my induction.

Aunt Kate laughs and take another look at my white wedding dress… she give me a big thumbs up.

“You’re absolutely beautiful” she said.

I smiled, I believe her because I could hærdly recognize me when I looked into the mirror too.

“it’s time, Xander’s crowned already!” Aunt Kate said.

I listened and I really heard people cheering and calling Xander *your highness!*

“Let’s go!” Aunt Kate said giving me her hand.

I take her hand and she leads me into the ballroom.. everyone keeps quiet as I step in, they turn towards me with smile on their faces.

Aunt Kate and I walk towards the podium where the king and queen’s throne are set… Xander stands in a corner waiting for me.

He lock gaze with me and smile, we stop in front of him and Aunt Kate give my hand to him.

“You’re so gorgeous, baby!”

“Thanks, your highness!” I replied him and he rolls his eyes.

“I’m Xander to you, please”

I shake my head.

“No! Your highness!” I tease him.

He gro-ns through our link.

*You’re being naughty, I’m so gonna punish you later!*

*I’m so ready for any punishment!* I replied and block him out.

The seer steps forward with a white bowl containing a little water… a small dagger in his other hand.

He takes the water to the window and places it under the moon.. there’s a full moon tonight.

He did some gestures before coming back to me, he walks round me seven times.

*What is he doing?* I mind-link Xander.

*Just a small ritual.. you’ll be fine!*

The seer stops in front of us and hands Xander the dagger, Xander cuts his palm very deep and let his blood drop in the bowl.

I close my eyes and wince for him.

*What are you doing?!* I scold him.

*If I don’t cut it very deep, it’ll heal before any blood drop!* He replies.

Oh, right… werewolf… super healing abilities!

The seer takes back the dagger and hands it to me, he place the bowl under my palm.

He wants me to cut myself too?! My eyes grows wide.

Xander laughs at my expression, he takes the dagger from me and look directly into my eyes.. before I knew what’s happening, I feel a sting in my palm.

I look down and see my blood dripping in the bowl, I laugh.. so he was distracting me until he cut me.

After a few minutes, blood stop dripping… My palm is healed.

*I did a good job, right?* Scar asked.

*Yes, very good job!*

The seer’s voice pulls me back.

“Alexa Felicia Scarlet Dex… do you promise to be a great leader in the company of Alpha prince Xander Liam Damien?”

“Yes, I do!” I answered.

“Do you promise to love.. care.. and protect the pack?”

“Yes, I do!”

He paused and calls a little boy forward.. the little boy comes carrying two rings in a golden platter.

Xander takes the smaller ring and turns to me with a smile… I frown.

*What’s going on?*

*We’re holding two ceremonies.. our wedding and your induction!*

I gasp… Aunt really made it!

“Alexa, I love you and I’ll always love you, I’ll always choose to love you in every lifetime.. I only want a tiny favor from you.. I’m a jealous mate, please don’t make me jealous everytime!” He said.

I rolled my eyes, what a perfect vow! I nod in agreement anyway and he slip the ring in my finger.

I pick the remaining ring and pass him a smile, since his vow is so special… I’ll give him a limited edition of a special vow.

“Xander… No! My court boy! I love you and I promise I’ll never make you jealous.. but if we meet and fall in love in our next life.. please don’t call me court girl” I said and he laughs.

I slipped the ring in his finger… the seer gives the bowl of our mixed blood to Xander and Xander drinks from it.

He gives it to me too, I look at it with disgust but quickly drink from it before I’ll make everyone sad.

“Everyone meet the prince and princess of crescent moonstone pack!” The seer announced.

Different voices suddenly flooded my head, like I can literally hear everyone’s thoughts.

I hold my head and quickly block the voices, I raised an eyebrow at Xander.

“You can freely use the pack-link now, trying mind-linking Joyce!” He said.

I picture Joyce in my mind and called her name.

*Joyce!*

*Yes, Luna!*

My eyes grow wide and I break into a wide smile.

“It worked! Xander it worked!” I chant and grab his collar.

I pull him down by his collar and crash my l-ips on his.. he wrap his arm around my wa-ist and k-sses me back.

“Congratulations Alpha and Luna!” They continue to chant as we continue k-ssing each other.
