MITCHELL POV
“The bride is here!”I heard lady smith say to her workers
They were the event planner and as Smith always says
‘The king wedding has to be perfect’ If only she knew that the wedding won’t be perfect because the bride beneath the veil is the wrong bride, I thought as I stood at the back watching every thing
Mitchell dressed up in the gown I had chosen by myself,The gown I had thought would be worn by me
She walked past me towards the man that I thought will be mine till eternity
Underneath the cap,I saw Luis face lit up with a smile
He would think that I am the one,I thought as the tears fell from my face
I wish I could stop it some how but I can’t,I have to leave this world,It wasn’t mine in the first place,The identity I lived with wasn’t mine,The man I loved would have never been mine if I hadn’t come into this world.
I watched Luis take Her hands in his and together they both stood in front of the priest to be wedded
“Its all over now,Its time to leave Mitchell”I whispered to myself and with one last look at Luis,I left the scene.
LUIS POV
We both knelt down while the priest prayed and blessed and our union
Just knowing that we will be getting married in front of the Lord makes me feel happy.
“Is this really the right thing?”That doubtful voice came again
This is the third time that my conscience have warned me again
Why is it giving me a bad feeling when I know that it’s the right thing am doing
The one I love is here with me,So what’s with this bad vibe
I thought as I began to say my vows to her then it was her turn
When she began to speak,I felt that it wasn’t Mitchell but how can it not be her,I thought as I stared at her face under the veil
I had been the one who chose the veil for her but now I wish the stupid gone
I had to stare at her face to confirm if she was the one or not
They brought forth the ring and I took her hands to slip the ring in
It was then that I knew that she was not the one,My Mitchell hands was always so warm,So full of love but these hands was so cold
Letting go of her hand,I opened the veil and stared at her
“I was right! You aren’t my Mitchell”I whispered gently
“Luis…..”She called softly starring at me
“Your majesty it’s not time to open the veil yet”The priest said bringing me back to the present
“Am sorry!”I whispered dropping the veil,I began to run off
I could hear a lot of people calling after me but I didn’t care,I had to stop her, Had to ask her not to leave me
I went back to her room but no one was there
Where could she be? I thought and just then I thought of the book
She will surely be where the book is and the book is in my study
I turned back heading to my study only to stop when max and the guards came to me
“What’s going on your majesty,Why did you run off like that?”He asked
“I don’t have time to explain, I have to do some thing”I said as I ran past him to my study.
As soon as I got in,I saw her, She was about to go into the door that separated our world from each other
“No!”I yelled and she stopped.
I put the bolt on the door and quickly went to her
She turned to stare at me and feeling so glad that she was still here,I pulled her into my arms
“I thought I told you not to leave me,You promised Mitchell,You promised to stay”I said still holding her
“How did you know that I was leaving”She asked
“Did you think that I wouldn’t be able to identify you two,You might have the same face but you both are different”I said
Gently she moved out of my arms “You shouldn’t be here,You should be getting marri……”%0
“To heck with the marriage,If you are not the one standing there then to hell with it”I said and pulled her back into my arms
MITCHELL POV
I felt the tears wanting to pour but I stopped myself
“You just can’t leave me,You can’t”He said still holding onto me
“Luis let’s not make it worse,The real Mitchell is back,I can’t stay here any more”I said gently
“No! You are going to stay here! I don’t care if the real Mitchell stays in this world or leave,You are the only one I want and Am not willing to lose you”He said
Gently I moved out of his arms “You just don’t get it Luis,I don’t belong here, My time is up and…….”
“Says who? Who told you that your time is up? I get to decide that Mitchell and you spending the rest of your life here with me is all I want”He said
“That can’t happen Luis,What would you have done if I hadn’t come into this world,You would have been married to Mitchell”I said as the tears I tried to hold in began to pour
“Yes I would have married her but I wouldn’t love her,Can’t you see that it’s you I love,With out you in my life,Am nothing”He said
“I feel the same way but I can’t be selfish and stay here,I can’t live her life”
“But you are being selfish to me” He said
“We must be selfish,Am sorry Luis but you need to forget about me,This was bound to happen”I said moving away from him
“I can’t accept it,I don’t want to”He said as he pulled me into his arms again
I stayed in his arms and cried,It hurts just to say good bye,That was why I was willing to leave with out saying good bye to him
“Have got to go Luis”I said as I pulled away from him
He pulled me into his arms and k-ssed me,I held him tight and k-ssed him back
“Don’t go”He Begged
“Am sorry”I whispered gently and slowly I pulled out of his arms and went in through the door.
