Chapter 17&18: LESSON 1.
” Mrs Green, don’t tell me you are damn serious about this. ”
” Of course, I am, sweetheart. If you truly want to get yourself close to The Master and vise versa, then this is what you must do. ”
” Hold on a second, ” she paused her, ” we need to think of what he will say when he suddenly finds out that I am already head over heels with him. He knows that I don’t like him, don’t you think doing this is a little fishy? ”
” It’s only crazy when you sit and fold your arms doing nothing. Right now, I am telling you the honest truth, Alpha Kaden doesn’t care if you all of a sudden get head over heels for him.
All he wants now is your love. To be loved. So, try not to let that bother you now. So, back to business, this is lesson one. And lesson one means this is the first thing you must do. ”
” Okay, I’m listening. ”
” Time. ”
” What?! ”
” Yes, you have to create out a time for your self and The Master together. If you let any other thing occupy your time, then there is no way you two can get to know each other better. ”
” Okay, lesson two? ”
” No, we will first work on lesson one for now. Then when it is done, we move to lesson two. ”
I rolled my eyes, ” I can’t remember having a training class like this. ”
” Those you experience in school is totally different from this. This is a training for love, and as you can see, love has nothing to do with academics. Are you ready to work on lesson one? ” She asked.
I nodded my head at her.
” Lesson one s-cks. ”
” Any question before we proceed? ”
I scratched the back of my head, thinking of what to ask.” I don’t think so. ” I said.
” Okay, so let us continue then. Pick out a time. ”
” Ten o’clock? ”
” Okay, ten o’clock it is. You must make sure that you do not share this time with any one. ”
” Mrs Green you know that is impossible. Sometimes I do forget to wake up early and I don’t have to miss coming to see you. Probably that might take a half of my time. ”
” Then you have to find a suitable time you need to spend with him. ”
” Eleven? ” I said almost like a question.
” As soon as it turns eleven, you must suspend whatever you are doing and meet with The Master. And try not to have the casual clothes on, The Master doesn’t fancy the casual clothes. ”
” Okay. So, what happens next when I am with The Master? ”
” Try to comport your self, put on a nice smile on your face… ” I rolled my eyes again. ” You should be practicing it while I say them. ”
I beamed my face with a smile. ” Now that is the kind of smile I am talking about. ” She gave me a thumbs up. ” Have a good sitting posture, it counts. ” I slammed my both legs together but she shook her head.
” No, it is more advisable for a Luna to sit in this posture. ” She crossed her leg above the other and I did so, ” try not to fade the smile off.” I returned the smile again.
” Good. Try not to start the conversation, he must be the one to start any conversation. And mind you, also try not to keep a boring face whether his conversation is boring or meaningless. Smile even when nothing seems to be funny. ”
She said and that last statement got me laughing. ” For real? ” I laughed hærd again. ” That’s only gonna make me look stupid. How do you expect me to laugh over what seems not to be interesting? ”
” You have no choice. ”
” No, I do. And it is better if I let him know he was boring at that moment than to let him keep talking like a crazy fool. ”
” Now, you are sounding concerned. ”
” No, I am not. I just hate it when people talk senseless words and likewise I hate to make people a fool to it so I rather tell you plainly than to keep quiet. ”
” You will indeed make a great Luna. ” I rose my eyebrow at her. ” Still on lesson one, ” she continued. ” Keep a direct eye contact with him. ”
” That’s some thing I can not promise you, Mrs Green. ”
” Don’t tell me you are shy to look at his face? ”
” Of course, I am. ” I w¡dened my eyes at her. ” Who isn’t?”
” Poor child. ” She said pitifully. ” Again, he might ask you for something to eat. Don’t be too rushy to demand any thing, you can request for a glass of water or some thing a little more comfortable. ”
” Like? ” I asked.
” Like, tea or coffee. ”
” Tea or coffee. ” I repeated with a nod.
” Though you are expected to put on a warming smile, but mind you, you have to be very conscious of your self or else you might turn out looking crazy while doing that. ” I nodded.
” Like I said, try to be conscious of yourself. Alpha King’s do use this opportunity to study their mates and know the kind of person they are. So, if you really wanna make a better Luna, then this is the first step to take when you approach your mate. ”
” When will I have to put lesson one to practice? ” She checked on her wrist watch.
” It’s almost to eleven, practice starts now. ”
I frowned. ” I thought we were supposed to learn lesson one today and practice it tomorrow? ”
” Well, I changed my mind. Lesson and practice starts today. You just have to get yourself ready, I will send someone to check if The Master is busy or not, if he isn’t, I will notify you immediately. ”
” And if he is? ” We forget practicing for today. I prayed earnestly within myself and hell no…
” We find a suitable time to practice on it. ” She grinned, noticing the frustrating look in my face.
” I’ll just get going. ”
” Hilda will be in your room very soon. Try not to wear a heavy make up on, some times it scares people away. ”
” Who said I was gonna put on a heavy make up? ” I looked at her.
” Just saying. I want you to look smart on your first lesson. ”
” Thanks. ” I left to my room.
I sat on the ground, resting my back against the bed. Mrs Green’s lesson is the most horrible lesson I have ever experienced in my wh0le life.
The smiling face, the direct eye contact and the fact that I will have to laugh over a boring conversation, was the weirdest thing I have ever heard.
Why will I have to undergo so much strategical procedures over a single thing? Meeting my mate is almost like meeting with the United State’s President.
Not quite long, Hilda walked in. ” You sent for me. ”
” Yes, please. I need you to find me a good dress to wear, I will be meeting with The Master soon. ”
” Yes,. Miss. ”
” But, not something too tight fitted. I might end up choking to death before I get there. ” I heard her chuckle.
” I will find something much more better for Miss. ”
I pulled myself into the long silky purple gown. It was moderate on my body and I love the way it felt on my skin. It had a V shaped neck and a sleeveless handle which I have to wear a handless b-ra for it.
Hilda told me not putting on a b-ra was more better and fitted for a dress like this. I stared at her through the mirror, I don’t think she actually understand the fact that those green eyes weren’t just ordinary eyes.
And the one person I was going to meet wasn’t an ordinary person either.
I gave up, after all I wasn’t that good at fashion. I had no choice but to take off the b-ra I was wearing. Though I was still in my room, but I could feel his eyes on me.
She applied a moderate make up on my face and I almost couldn’t recognize my original look again. I never realized how beautiful I looked until now. I touched my face, I couldn’t stop from chuckling.
” You’re scared, aren’t you? ” She asked.
” No, just nervous. ”
” Every one do feel nervous when meeting with The Master. ”
” Every one? ”
” Except from Mrs Green, she is more close to him than anyone else. ”
No wonder why she talked like she was the one going for the practice. She has forgotten she was talking to a shy twenty years ago lady.
I exhaled heavily.
” We have to wait a little while. ”
” What’s wrong? ”
” Mrs Green sent someone to check if the master is busy or not. We can’t just leave without being informed. ”
Just then a knock came. Hilda went to open it, it was one of the girls serving with Mrs Green. ” The Master is in the guest hall.”
” Put a smile on your face, don’t forget your sitting posture, try not to start the conversation, water or rather tea and coffee. Keep a direct eye contact… Aish. ” I grunted after reciting the wh0le lesson.
Hilda led the way to the guest hall. ” Master, the Mistress wishes to see you. ” She announced.
” Please, let her in. ”
I looked at Hilda for a while before entering while she departed. I stood at the door, and from there I stared at him. Our eyes made contact for a long moment then I looked away, making my way to the table.
He ushered me to sit down. I sat down, not forgetting to cross my legs. The part where Mrs Green instructed me to make a direct eye contact wasn’t working.
I forced a smile on my face, avoiding his gaze. No matter how hærd I try to look at him, I find myself looking away.
” You look so beautiful today, Miss Walker. ” He complimented.
I blushed, trying not to show how obvious it was on my face. ” I wasn’t expecting to see you today. Would you mind for anything? ” He asked.
” Sure. ” I mentally an-lyzed this sudden meeting, it wasn’t something worth for just a cup of water nor tea or even a coffee. So, now that I said a yes to his question, damn, I’m really not hungry now.
