” What war are you talking about? ” I asked.
” You don’t know? ”
” Know about what? ” This was getting a lot confusing.
” Oh, I see. He didn’t tell you, did he? ”
” Hold on, can you be at least a little specific? I don’t get any thing at all. You mentioned that a war is about to happen, what war is it about? ” I tried to be a bit specific to my question, maybe that’s why she keeps replying back with a question.
” Do you remember the phone call he had yesterday? ”
” Yes. What about it? ”
” When you had persuaded him to go for the urgent matter, what were you thinking? Some thing bad is about to happen, Miss Walker, and that is why he had the call.
But… that isn’t some thing I must tell you my self. As soon as you return back home, try to ask him yourself. I’m sure he will answer you. ”
” Why? Why didn’t he tell me? ” I muttered painfully to myself.
” I believe he’s got a reason for not telling you. ”
” Is he gonna win the fight? ”
” What fight? ” She asked. ” The future or the one yet to come? ”
” Both. ” I said.
” He will win but not by himself. A group of pack win fight alongside with him, very soon you will see this Pack I speak of. ”
Like she had said… Very soon.
And then, I saw this group of people match to Moon Stone, Alpha Kaden stood at the entrance gate awaiting their presence. I was surprised, I never knew he had an alpha friend.
The way he happily welcomed them baffled me. I never knew Alpha’s do cherish themselves. I always thought every alpha do mind their business and their packs. Guess I was wrong.
” Who are they? ” I asked her, pointing at their direction.
” They are the Moon Walker Pack.” She answered.
” The Moon Walker? ” She nodded. Never heard of the name before…
” They are the ones who will help Alpha Kaden win this war, so rest assure, every thing will end up well. I didn’t bring you here to get you frightened up or lose hope, this is only to let you know what is about to happen.
When you return to earth, do not forget to tell what you have seen to Kaden. He must know about this, he must know every thing. And… He must be ready to face any thing. Understood? ”
I nodded my head.
” It’s time to go home, hold my hand. ” I held her hand and Javis brought us back to The Amazon Home. ” Are you ready to return back to Earth? ” She asked.
” I think so, they will be bothered about me. But before I go, can I ask you a question? ”
” Sure, of course. ”
” Is it possible that I can come here anytime? ”
” Sure, of course you can. As far as you have become the Moon Goddess’s chosen, you are free to come any time you want. ”
” Yeah. I have a lot of questions to ask, but guess I’ll have to keep them for some other time. ”
” I’ll be ready to answer them. Good bye, Miss Walker. ”
” Good bye, Evelyn. ”

And the next second, I am back on my bed. I slowly opened my eyes, rubbing it from the sun rays which pierced my eyes.
When I finally opened my eyes, I was surprised to see Kaden sitting on my bed just beside me. I moved my gaze to the figure who stood beside my bed, his hands folded around his chest.
I have never seen the face before, or was this another part of my dream?
” Hello, Miss Walker. I’m Coen, Kaden’s best friend. ”
” Oh, it’s a pleasure to meet you Coen. I never expected I’d finally get the chance to meet a friend of Kaden. Thank you for coming. ”
” It’s nothing. ”
I stared back at Kaden who has been watching me with a worried face. ” You’ve been asleep for hours, and it’s almost getting noon. What happened to you? ” He asked, worried.
” I just wanted to have a long rest. I didn’t get the chance to sleep on time last night. Don’t worry about me, I am fine. ”
” Are you sure? Or is there something you wanna tell me? ”
“Yes, there is. ” I mentally said to myself. ” And it’s not really a good news I’d say. Something big is about to happen, Kaden and I am scared of telling you now. ”
I wished he could just read my mind and see it for himself. It’s not that simple to say, especially when you just had a f*cking nightmare about the future.
Not just the happy ever after one… But the part that the wh0le world was gonna have a war with just a single man? Who turns out to be the one person after your heart.
” Kaden…” I whispered. ” Why don’t you just read my mind. I’m so scared to say it. I don’t think I am ready to say it. ”
” I can’t read your mind anymore. It’s not as easy as it was the first time I met you. ”
Is that the reason why Evelyn said the Moon Goddess only brought people with special gifts. Does it mean she too has a gift she is yet to find out?
” Please tell me, I want to know. ”
I touched his cheek, ” Maybe you still can see it yourself. Just look at me, deep into my eyes and you will see what I have seen. ”
He was staring into her w-t eyes. The tears of pains, the fear and hurt to see that every one would one day turn their back on him.
There would be victory for the Moon Stone, but the tragedies and the souls yet to die was all that mattered to her.
” Amazon Home? ” He said, ” You went to Amazon? ”
I nodded my head.
” You saw the future, didn’t you?” He asked.
” I did. She told me a war is about to happen. You didn’t tell me some thing bad was gonna happen? Why? ”
” I was worried you would get bothered. I didn’t want to see you scared, not while you just got adapted to the pack. ”
” Isn’t that what we are meant to be? To feel each other’s fear, and pains? Kaden I need to know every thing, I need to know more about what is happening.
This future, it’s about you and every one. It’s about the wh0le world. They’re gonna come for you, they will fight against you. It’s only a matter of time for you to get ready. I don’t wanna lose you, Kaden. No, not now. ”
” You won’t lose my, I promise. ”
The hot tears finally rolled out of her eyes, and with his thumb, he wiped them off away. He hugged her to himself, ” You won’t lose me.”

Now, I feel free. I won’t say I feel so completely free but now as bothered as I was back at Amazon. Now that I have told Kaden what I had seen, he is working hærd on his plans.
Even though all this were some thing yet to happen years to come, I think it’s a better idea if the pack needs to get ready. Any thing can happen at any time. We just have to be ready for them, whether big or small.
I recalled Evelyn’s words, ” The Moon Goddess only brought people with special gifts. ”
Why would the Moon Goddess choose me? I don’t even know who or what she looks like, never even heard of her until yesterday.
Why will I look so special to her? And worst still, I don’t even have any gift? When I couldn’t even tell my talents until the year I turned eighteen, how then will I know this gift?
Maybe, that will be until I turn thirty. Who knows??
Guess I’ll have to keep it to myself until whenever I get the chance to pay Amazon a visit. Not just the pack nor the future alone, this time, I think there’s more to learn about myself.
And that will be all in the Amazon Home….

Chapter 26: JEALOUSY.
(Two Months Later…)

Illiana peered down out of the window, a navy blue tinted car packed at the garage. An ebony lady on a fine green silk stepped out of the car.
Her hair swinging at the effect of the wind which blew. First she stared around, with her hand still hung on the door.
Illiana picked up Crystal from where she stood with her tail dancing to and fro. ” Crystal, let’s go meet Kaden. ” She said and off she left her room to Kaden’s.
On getting there, the door was barely closed. She slowly opened it. ” Ka…” She was going to call him but stopped halfway when she saw the same lady in his room.
She watched as Kaden pulled her into a hug and how he patted her back gently. There was this feeling that erupted in her, a feeling she is yet to explain.
Crystal looked at her, she meowed bringing her back to reality. She blinked consciously. ” Crystal, it seems like Alpha Kaden is a bit busy at the moment. Let’s get out of here. ”
She entered her room, slamming the door hærd. She rested against the door, liquid substance gently leaving her eyes.
Crystal tapped her with her leg. ” You don’t understand how it feels, do you? ” She said to her cat. ” Is she so beautiful than I am? ”
She exhaled shakily. ” You know I wouldn’t mind if she really is beautiful than I am. Every one is beautiful than I am. ” She sniffed, cleaning her nose with the back of her hand.
She looked at Crystal who has been staring at her. ” Oh please, don’t give me that look. You do understand what I am talking about, don’t you? Oh please, tell me you do. ”
Crystal meowed.
” Of course, you do. ” She sniffed again, ” I know he does love me but, do you think he loves another too? Why do I feel… Why? Why do I have this feeling that he’s cheating on me?
What haven’t I done for him? All those while he said he loves me, where they all a joke? Did he say those things just to make him happy?
And did he… Did he k-ssed me because he wants me to believe he really does like me? ” She cried.” Why am I having this feelings crystal? ”
She meowed.
” Can you for once talk to me and stop meowing? ” She yelled angrily at Crystal who frightfully ran under the bed. ” I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you. You won’t understand how I feel, no you wouldn’t even if I have to explain that a thousand times.
You’re just a Cat, what do you even know about human feelings? ” She scoffed.

The morning passed away and so did noon. Illiana still sat in her room, not ready to open the door. She had refused to eat her food since morning.
Even when Hilda came to check on her, she refused to let her in. Despite all the pleading and so on, she kept mute at her.
So, Hilda decided to go talk to Mrs Green. Hoping some thing good will work out if Mrs Green had to come up her self.
” Hello, Miss, it’s I, Green. ”
” Oh, Mrs Green, I do not wish to speak to any one. I wanna feel lonely and alone. Please don’t beg me to eat, I am not hungry. ” She said in a sobby tune.
” I understand how you feel, sweetheart, but locking your self all day won’t solve your problem. You need some one to talk to, and you can give me the chance to help you out.
Just open the door okay, let’s talk what the problem is together. It’s just you and I, alone. ”
At first, Illiana hesitated, but she finally opened the door for Mrs Green. ” Hey, sweetheart, you’re crying already? ”
Illiana buried her self in her embrace, she couldn’t stop from holding her self from crying. And Mrs Green didn’t mind her staining her cloth with her tears.
” Some thing is bothering you, dear, what is it? ” Mrs Green asked, worried.
” You will not understand, Green. No one will. ” She said bitterly.
” I will only not understand if you don’t explain. Talk to me, I’m all ears. ” She said, breaking the hug. She helped Illiana wipe her tears, ” Come, let’s take a seat. ”
They sat on her bed, Mrs Green was sitting just beside her in case she burst out crying. ” I’m listening. ” She said.
” He doesn’t love me. ” Ana started.
” Who? ” She asked. ” Do you mean Alpha Kaden? ”
” Yes, I thought he loves me but no I see I was wrong. And even if he does love me, he’s got some one else in his heart. ”
” Oh, sweetheart, don’t you ever say that. Alpha Kaden will never try to love another woman beside you. Did some one tell you that? ” She asked.
” No, ” she said sharply. ” No one did. I saw it myself. ”
Mrs Green kept a confused look, she doubts Kaden will ever try a thing to hurt Ana. Since she knew him, she has never seen him with any other woman.
Why then now? Why then today?
It baffled her likewise kept her in total shock that she couldn’t say any thing. She was speechless, or was it a lady from one of his companies?
” I saw a woman this morning, I thought it was one of the visitors who always come to visit Kaden. But when I went to his room, it wasn’t what I was thinking.
I saw him hug her, and he didn’t just hugged her, she was crying his arms. Like there is some thing going on between them. ”
” Did you asked him who she might be? ” Mrs Green asked.
” I didn’t want to to disturb them, so I gave them the privacy they needed. And I am not asking either. You know what, Mrs Green, I don’t think I care any more.
Whether he hangs out with another woman, I don’t think I care sharing him with some one else. Besides, we aren’t married yet so, I’m okay with what ever action he takes. ” She sniffed hærd.
” Ana, I doubt your saying this from your heart. You wouldn’t try to care less about your mate. The future has a great thing for you two, so dropping your trust and love for him now… It’s really not the best choice for you. ”
She scoffed, ” Do you think it’s necessary for me to care? I remember the last thing he hugged me, that is the same way he hugged her too. I didn’t stay to watch the rest cos I didn’t want to, who knows if he did some thing to her. ”
” Some thing like what? ”
” Who knows? Maybe, he might have k-ssed her or… or what ever. ” She flew her hands high, dropping it in her laps. ” What if he did k-ss her? ” She looked at Mrs Green.
Mrs Green laughed. ” You’re jealous, aren’t you? ”
” Me? ” She pointed at herself. ” Of course not. Why would I be jealous? Like I said, I don’t care about what ever option he takes. ”
” No, you do care. And right now, I call only say one thing to you, you live him and that’s why you feel this way. You might not notice how jealous you are, but it’s obvious on your face.
And you know what, I am happy you’re jealous, it shows how much you care for him. But, not to bear it for so long, I advise you to talk to him. He must have a good explanation for the lady. ”
