Chapter 31 – 32: THE SEER.
” So tell me, why haven’t you been sleeping since? ”
” I don’t know.”
” It isn’t because of Sir Gof’s death, is it? Because, he just died last night, so it can’t be because of it. Or are you thinking this has some thing to do with the Vergence Pack? ”
He sighed.
” Kaden, the war isn’t today, you need to give yourself some time before you think of any thing. ”
” I still have to get ready. The people needs me, you need me. And the only way I can protect them is by doing what ever it take to keep them safe. ”
” How long have you been noticing this? ”
” Last three months, I guess. ”
” Kaden…” She sat up, shocking in confusion.” Why didn’t you tell me? ”
” I don’t want to bother you. ”
” It’s time you stop seeing any of these as bothering. You haven’t been sleeping for three months, yet you act like nothing is the problem? What is wrong with you? ”
” Ana… You don’t understand. ”
” Well make me understand, because this while thing is getting complicated and confusion. ”
He sat up too, adjusting himself that he was now facing her. ” Since the day you told me about the Amazon Home and the vision, I wasn’t at rest. Every single day that passes by, is a step closer to the war.
And three years is almost seeming like three days to me. And you talk about a different war yet to come, there’s no other pack than the Vergence. ”
” You’re scared of them, aren’t you? You think they’re gonna win. ”
” It’s not about winning, Ana, the point is I ain’t prepared for any thing related to conflict. I and my pack has lived for years and we’ve never experienced war, who knew my step would end up harming the pack. ”
” Evelyn talked about the Moon Walker Pack. She said they were going to help you in the future. We don’t have to wait for the future, we can just ask for their help now. ”
” The Moon Walker’s are miles away from here. It’s probably gonna take them days to get here. ” He rubbed his face in frustration.
” Isn’t there any other Pack we can ask for their help? ”
” There is, a lot of them but they are weak. The Vergence Pack are one of the strongest in the southern part, no other packs outside the South will agree to help us. It’s pointless. ”
” No, it’s not. You still have a long way to go, and the future should be our problem and not the Vergence Pack because a lot of them both humans, werewolves and demons are coming for you.
The Vergence are just a scratch to the future, trust me, Kaden, you are not alone. ”
Yes, you are not alone. With the Moon Walker Pack, and every one within this pack, we will surely end this once and for all.
” Come on, I’m feeling sleepy.” I laid down and he did the same. ” You’re not alone, Kaden.” His eyes looked heavy, it was gradually closing. I k-ssed his forehead.
Honestly, I wasn’t feeling sleepy, I only said that to make him sleep. He looked so stressed up and tired, he needed a long nap and some time to get himself together.
Evelyn, I need to know, please tell me what I need to know. What is happening to me, why am I seeing things others can’t? I muttered.
You said I have a special gift, is it this I am seeing? Is that why the Moon Goddess had chosen me for the future? Because she knows I see things?
I wasn’t feeling sleepy but all of a sudden, I felt my eyes growing heavy.

” Welcome, Miss Walker, it’s been a long time. ” Evelyn welcomed me.
” Evelyn, I have a lot to ask you. ”
” I know. We all know. Follow me. ” I followed behind as we headed to the room Javis was. ” You said you have a lot of questions to ask me? ”
” Yes. ”
” Is it part of the ones you weren’t able to ask three months ago? ”
” I think so. ”
” If you are wondering if what you see is part of your gift then yes, it is. ”
” Is that why the Moon Goddess brought me here at the first place? To see the future because she thinks that’s what I am? ”
” Correct. Every thing you saw about Sir Gof’s death is the truth, there was addition and there was certainly no removing. It all happened according to the way you saw it. ”
” Do you think they are still within the castle? ”
” No. Every one thinks the murderer is among the pack and might have done that out of jealousy, but that’s not true. And if I may say, Alpha Kaden is correct about what he thinks. The ones who had killed Sir Gof isn’t from the pack, it’s the Vergence. ”
” Do you think he will lose this fight? ” I asked, worried.
” No, he won’t. Though he will face some challenges but that doesn’t mean he will lose these fight for the Vergence. So rest assured, the Moon Goddess has this all planned perfectly well. ”
” So, why don’t we talk about your gift? ” She smiled at me.
” Who am I? ”
” That isn’t the right question. ”
” What is? ”
” What are you? ” She replied. ” Your dreams tells reality, it also explains it too. The Moon Goddess made us know that there are two main categories of gift. One, the common gifts and two, the rare gifts. ”
” I don’t understand. ”
” The common gifts are the ones every one knows. A lot of people possess it and some times, it’s not that fanciful. We know such gifts are the witchcraft, eye color changing, and the rest of them.
Coming to the rare gifts, they are the ones we don’t know about. It’s not always every one’s gift and it’s difficult to find people who posses it. Such gifts are, seers, the mind readers, healers and the rest of them. ”
” So what category am I? ” I asked.
” The rare gift. ” She answered, ” So, this will lead us to the question, what are you? ”
” What am I? ”
” You’re a seer, Illiana Walker. ”
” I can’t tell Kaden about this. ”
” Why? You have to. He needs to know who is behind Sir Gof’s death. ”
” But you already said it yourself, the murderer is not within the castle anymore. He’s probably gone to report to his Alpha. Even if I have to explain to him about every thing I saw, I don’t have any proof neither have I seen this killers before. ”
” You just have to tell him first. Forget whatever he is yet to ask or say, he has to know what ever it is that you see. ”
” He’s gonna hate me cos I didn’t tell him when I started seeing the vision. What am I gonna say to him if he asks me for how long have I been seeing this visions. ”
” Do you know what, don’t tell him for now. ”
” Why?”
” Tonight will tell. Get ready, there’s more you will see, more about things you need to know and that’s starting from tonight. After tonight, you don’t have to bother on what to tell him, he will find out himself. ”
” How? ” I asked, ” What is it that I am going to see? ”
” That’s some thing I am not allowed to say. But worry not, it’s not gonna cause your life. It’s a vision to the secrets of the Moon Stone Pack. ”
” Secrets? Kaden never told me about this. ”
” Not all is he aware of, that’s why the Goddess has chosen you. As soon as you see this secrets, you are meant to tell it all to him. ”
” What if he doesn’t believe me? ”
” He will. He will always believe you. ”
