She touched me, ” Are you scared? ” She asked.
” Just a little bit nervous. ” I sighed, ” I hate it when I see things I shouldn’t see, it gets my heart tensed up, especially when it’s really not a good news.
And you mentioned about having a vision about the secret of Moon Stone Pack, it sounds deadly than Sir Gof’s death. ”
” It’s okay for you to get tensed up by this. But very soon, you’ll get use to your gift and by then, you’ll love to see things you shouldn’t. You will also see how important they all mean to Kaden. ”
” Except from the future and tonight, I don’t think my gift is of help any more. We’ve seen the things yet to come or are there more I haven’t seen yet? ”
” Yes, Ana. The future occupies a big event. What you’ve seen is the main thing to come, but other things yet to come is up to you to find out yourself.
These things are little but very dangerous, and it’s likely to cause ones life. So, yes, there are more you are yet to see. ”
She shrieked, ” Your words are getting me more tensed up than I already am. ”
” I know, but it’s better when it gets you tensed up than when I let you go without knowing any thing.”
” Aside being a seer, do I have any gift attached? ”
She smiled, ” That’s some thing I can’t tell. Alpha Kaden is almost up, you have to return before him. ” I nodded. ” Close your eyes. ” I closed it, ” Now open it. ”
I opened it to find myself back on the bed. I started to think over my conversation with Evelyn. Just as the name implies, it isn’t that good.
It may sound okay to see what the future holds, but for me it doesn’t. I feel like my eyes and my brain are gonna know what they shouldn’t.
This secrets of Moon Stone Pack Evelyn talked about, why do I have this feeling that it isn’t a good news secret.
Does it mean that there are things going on in this pack that Kaden is not aware of? I have always thought king’s were meant to know every single thing that happens in his territory.
Why does Kaden’s own seem different?
I just hope this won’t turn out to be a bad vision.
He turned to my side, his eyes slowly opening. I stared at the wall clock, it had just turned 5:14pm. We’ve slept for almost five hours or so, and I doubt it’s enough for him.
He needs more rest than anyone. If possible he needs to spend the rest of the day and night sleeping.
” Hey, ” I said, the moment he finally opened his eyes.
” Hey. ”
” Hope you slept well? ”
” Yeah, ” he smiled at me and I found myself returning the smile. ” Thank you. ”
I chuckled, ” For what? ”
” For staying with me. I never thought you’d stay till I wake up. ”
I rubbed his cheek softly, ” I’ll never leave you, Kad, especially not now. Tell me, what did you dreamt of? ”
He laughed. ” Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I ever had a dream. ”
” That means you’re a ghost? Because it’s only a ghost who doesn’t have a dream. ”
” I don’t remember anyone ever mentioning ghosts do sleep at night. Or is there any you have seen? ”
How will I know if there is that actually exists. I just can’t let him win over me, he always does that in our little play arguments. Aish…
” I’m listening. ”
” Yes, I have. ”
” So tell me, which one have you seen? ”
I thought hærd on what to say. And there was only one that came into my mind, ” Yes, my grandma. ”
He rose his eyebrow at me, ” you weren’t even born when your grandmother died. ”
” How do you know when my grandmother died? ”
” Ever since the Moon Goddess showed me my destiny, I never stopped from checking on your family. Then, I always see your parents with an elderly woman, at first I thought she was the normal travellers your parents wanted to help.
Until I heard your mother call her Mom, I think that’s how I came to know your grandmother. That was five years before your birth. ”
” Five years before I was born? ” She repeated, ” Then how old are you now? I doubt you’ll be more than thirty. ”
” Don’t be deceived by my appearance, nature really intimidated me. ”
” Mmm… So, how old are you? ”
” Why don’t we keep the answer for next time. ”
” You trying to avoid my question now? Or you’re just embarrassed that I guessed your age right?”
” I ain’t, there’s nothing to be ashamed of. So, how long have we been asleep? ”
” Five hours. At least you did sleep well, I’m happy. Next time, don’t ever keep yourself awake at night. ”
” I can’t promise you that, some times I don’t feel like sleeping so I stay awake through out the night. Or I might have a lot to settle, I’m not that less busy as you think. ”
” But at least, there’s got to be a chance in every twenty four hour for you to get yourself together. You need rest than any other if you really wanna make this war a victory for us all. ”
” Ana, I don’t wanna bother you or watch you restless all because of me. ”
” If I don’t bother about you, who then will? ”
” Now I know the Moon Goddess didn’t make a mistake choosing you for me. ” He grabbed my l-ips into his, k-ssing in my lower l-ips. I k-ssed him back, every bit of his k-ss tasted new.
He pulled away, ” The first day I met you, that was eight years ago, there was some thing you said to my sister.”
” Some thing like? ”
” You said if you had to chose her as your mate, would she accept? ” Kaden already know where she was heading to. This only left him smiling. ” Did you meant those words? ”
” No. ” He answered. ” I was only testing her feeling. ”
” What did you find? ”
” She did hated me then as much as she does now. ”
” But she was ready to go in my place. I know she was only trying to protect me. But what if she did accepted to go with you in my place, would you have taken her with you? ”
” Mmmmmmm….. ” He made a thoughtful look, ” I would, though I will make her my woman but only for a temporal purpose. ”
” Which is? ”
” Converting her to my kind. She is aggressive, which makes her only stronger when she gets angry. Every Alpha wants someone with such attitude. ”
” You were gonna turn my sister to an animal? Not because you love her, but because you see her as a perfect tool. ”
” Hey, I never say I was gonna make her, I said if she had accepted my proposal. But luckily, she didn’t. She’s not here, and there’s no one turned to a wolf. ”
” What about me, were you planning on turning me to a wolf too? ”
” You don’t have anger issues and, I think I prefer you being just a human. ”
Do you think so? I said to myself. I ain’t the ordinary human you once think, Kad, I am more to it. I see thinks beyond humans vision, I can sense what is yet to happen.
And not just that, there is more about me I still need to learn. Some thing tells me I ain’t just a seer, I am more than just a future seer.
” Ana…” He snapped his fingers at me, bringing me back to reality.
” Ah?”
” You were lost for a while, what are you thinking about? ”
” Nothing. I was just wondering why you’d want me being just a human. ” Yeah, I’m becoming a pretty good liar, ain’t I?
