Chapter 45: NIGHTMARE 2.

I gasped, breathing heavily as I stared around the room. Kaden looked shocked as soon as I jerked up.
” Ana, are you alright? ”
” No, I’m not alright. ” I said, still breathing heavily. ” We’ve got a big problem, Kaden. ”
” What are you talking about? ” He looked confused.
” Kaden…. Something big is about to happen. Something big and dangerous…”
” Talk to me, you have another vision right?” I nodded at him. “What did you see this time?”
” It was after the practice, I came to rest then I started to hear voices, scre-ming and begging for help. They were many of them, as if some one was torturing them.
They all needed help but I don’t know, it doesn’t seem like it makes any sense at all. And when I closed my eyes to sleep, i saw myself in this place it was covered in darkness.
Like the world has come to an end. I saw it, everything. I watched everyone die and the world became empty. Even right now, I can still hear their cries. It keeps increasing. ”
” The prophecy had been changed. A new one is reborn. ”
” That is what Evelyn said. She said you might know what it means. ”
” This is a different version of the future you had seen before. This vision, did it affect the pack? ” He asked.
” Yes, it affected everyone. No one survived the crisis… only me. ”
Kaden sighed in frustration. ” Since when did you see this vision.”
” After the practice. I told you, I knew I’d see some thing worst if I ended up reading the Book. I have never seen some thing like this before. Kaden, I’m scared. I’m scared of closing my eyes. What if I see something more dangerous and… Horrific? ”
” You don’t have to stop reading the Book. ” He said.
” What? Are you even listening to yourself? I’m hearing this weird voices because I read that Book, and you still think I should go ahead? ”
” Yes, Ana. If you hadn’t read the Book, we wouldn’t have learnt about this new prophecy. Maybe if you keep reading, we’ll get to know what the Moon Goddess has for us.
Look, Ana, you don’t have to be scared about your vision. It might look scary but, that’s the only way we can protect our people. ”
” I know but… ” I paused, sniffing. ” The scre-ms, it’s getting louder.”
” Then stop listening.”
” I can’t. It’s like they know I can hear them. ”
” Then let them know you can’t. Listen to my own voice. Everything is going to be alright, okay?” He assured me.
I nodded tearfully.
” I’m feeling a bit sleepy, why don’t we sleep together?” He climbed on the bed, laying beside me. Then he pulled me, that our bodies were touching each other.
He k-ssed me on my neck, ” It’s all gonna be alright.” He whispered.
“ It’s all gonna be alright. ” his voice echoed in my ears as I quickly dozed off to sleep.

IN HER DREAM…
” Some body help me! Help me!” She cried as she wondered around the empty road. ” Hello?! Is there anyone that can hear me?”
” Kaden… Please, help me. ” She fell to the ground, holding her ears from the scre-ms as they kept sounding louder in her ears.
” It can’t stop… It won’t stop!” She wept. ” Please, make them stop. Make them stop… It hurts… Please. ”
” Illiana. ” Called a voice from behind her. ” Illiana.”
She turned back, to see who it was that called her name. ” Who are you?” She asked the figure.
” My name is Mariah, one of the guardians of the Amazon Home. Come, I’ve got some thing to show you. ”
She dried up the tears on her face, following after the young lady. ” I have been in the Amazon Home for three times, I haven’t seen you before. ”
” Amazon isn’t a small home as you may think, there are more places you just haven’t seen yet. Each section has a guardian to protect it. The part you have seen, is that which the Moon Goddess cherishes the most.
Anyone who goes there has been found worthy in the eyes of the Goddess, it’s a place you can understand what gift you have. ”
” What do you do then? ” I asked her.
” I interpret dreams, and I also see them too.”
” You saw my dreams, don’t you? ”
” And I can hear their cries too. A new prophecy had been born, the old has passed away. ”
” Why did it change? ”
” Fate. We all know one thing for sure, fate programs every single thing we do. You wanna understand what your dream says? ”
” Yes. ” I said with a nod.
” Then this is the place. ” She took me to a part of the earth, though the cloud were red in colour but I don’t think they all seem to notice that.
They looked happy. It’s been long I have seen humans so happy like this. I even saw my families just then, my contenance changed.
But as soon as I saw father, they all disappeared. They had gone for a get together, I think. They sat around a table, like those time we dined when we were little.
I was beginning to miss those times, I was beginning to miss my old home.
” Dad…” I said, cold tears rolling out of my eyes. ” Dad…” I looked at her, ” Is he gonna die?” I asked.
She shook her head, ” No, he won’t. Look, ” she pointed at a direction, ” It has started. The tribulation. ”
There was destruction, war against countries. Lives, animals, every living creatures were slaughtered to death.
Innocent lives, homes and properties were both destroyed. This kept going on until the world became empty.
” Where are they?”
” Where do you think they would be?” She asked back, staring at me.
” Hell, that’s what Evelyn told me. But, why would the innocent go to hell? ”
” Sometimes we confuse ourselves by what we see. No one is innocent, Ana, everyone has a sin they bear. Those voices you hear are their cries, even before the tribulation will come, their torture has already started.
You have to be prepared for what is to come, the future don’t always hold a happy ever after. Sometimes, it comes with a sad ending and it’s only few that may survive. Now the question is… Will you be among the survivals?? ”

She woke up at midnight, sitting on the bed. She looked at Kaden, he was snoring silently. She didn’t want to disturb him, so she went out for a walk.
Her dreams were becoming more weird and scarier and feared the night as well. She would prefer if the day never leaves, and the sun never slept.
Her dreams were more like a reality to her than just a mere… Vision.
She wished Kaden will understand how horrific it was to see the future in an ugly way. Now, this is what the Book has caused her.
She hated life for being this wicked to her…
Kaden wakes up to see that Illiana was no longer beside him, his heart rose in fear as the thought of her being kidnapped troubled him.
” Ana…!!” He called but there came no response.
He saw that the door was opened, maybe she had sleepwalked out of the room.
He went in search for her, meanwhile Ana was sitting on the stairs, thinking about her recent dream. Kaden stopped as he saw her.
He didn’t say anything but sat beside her. ” Do you still hear the voices?”
She nodded.
” I don’t know, but I’m becoming restless. ” I looked at him. ” You don’t have to. ”
” Of course, I do. I don’t wanna pretend like every thing is alright when nothing is. Honestly, I’m getting a bit scared of your dreams. ”
” She said everyone are gonna die but only few will remain. Who will be the survivals?? ”

Chapter 46: MEETING THE MOON GODDESS..

I held his hands, they were cold. Indeed, he was really scared than I am that’s why I always have a double mind to tell him about my visions.
But yet, I know I still have to no matter what.
” You don’t have to be scared, we can never escape the future as far as we still breath. Like you said, I’ll have to keep reading the Book to see if I can get more visions about the prophecy. ”
He sighs.
I know he still finds it difficult to accept the sad news fate has for us, but all will turn out to be alright, not today.. but one day it surely will.
” I have to go to the library.” I said as I stood up from where I sat.
” Why?”
” You know I always see things at night, maybe reading the Book, I might see a new vision that can explain what the previous one means. ”
She rushed to the library to where the Book was kept, she spoke in an ancient word which caused the locked book to open.
” Does it have to be locked all the time?” He asked, pointing at it.
” Yes, it has to or else some one can have access to it at anytime. ”
” Oh, ” he nodded his head.
She flipped to page eighty six, she read through the greek writing. Suddenly, wind started to blow, the sky was getting cloudy as the thunder rumbled loudly.
A portal was formed before them and she looked at Kaden. ” If anything happens…”
” I’ll come find you.” He said, letting go off her hand.
The portal closed back and every where became normal. He decided to wait in the library until she was back.
He didn’t care how long it will take, he was ready to wait for her return.

In the empty road stood Ana staring around like she was expecting someone. Or maybe she is expecting someone.
” Hello? Mariah, are you hear?” She called. ” If you can hear me, please I’ve got some questions to ask you.”
” Hello, Miss Walker.” Said a voice from behind. ” I’ve been expecting to see you. ”
She turned to the figure behind her. ” You’re not Mariah, you must be another guardian from the Amazon Home. ”
The figure chuckled at her ignorance.” No, I am not one of them. ” She answered.
” Then, who are you? ” She asked.
” My name is Diana, I am the Moon Goddess.” Illiana’s eyes w¡dened as she left out a loud gasp. She couldn’t believe her ears as the beauty proclaimed herself to be the Moon Goddess?
Illiana felt heaven above her. It was like this was the best moment and vision she has ever had. She won’t bother hoping for an answer to clear her worried thoughts…
But now, she was standing with her answers. ” And like I said, I’ve been expecting you. ”
And likewise, she’s been expecting to meet with the Goddess. ” Why? ” She asked, curious.
” I thought I should show you the future, this time by myself. When you came, you said you have a question to ask Mariah, what is it you want to ask her? ”
” It’s about the vision I had seen yesterday. It still troubles me each time I hear their scre-ms and I keep wondering why innocent lives will have to be involved in this crisis. ”
” The tribulation explains what the future will be. Mariah must have told you this, and I will repeat it again, not everyone are innocent.
The wh0le world has to lose it’s inhabitants in order to reproduce a new one, a new life and a new hope. The prophecy doesn’t lie, and concerning the scre-ms, it will remain forever. ”
” Does… it mean I will keep hearing those voices for the rest of my life? ”
She stared at Ana’s worried face, ” The prophecy most times is unpredictable, but be rest assured, it won’t be forever. ” Those statements really calmed Ana down, she sighed in relief.
” I have something to show you now.” She said, ” Close your eyes.”
Ana shut her eyes close, almost immediately, she said again. ” Open it.” Ana opened it, they were now in a different place.
” What’s this place?” She asked.
” See for yourself.”
It was a battle ground, she looked left then right. At her left side were the humans and various wolf packs, then at her right is the Moon Stone and the Moon Walker Packs.
” Kaden.” She was about to run to him when Diana held her back.
” Where are you going to? ”
” We have to stop him from fighting with them. ” She cried.
” You can’t stop him, they can’t see us. ”
” If we let him die, he’s gonna die and it’s going to affect him real life. ”
” Why do you seem to have doubt in Kaden? ” Diana asked, ” Don’t you trust him? ”
” I do but… I’m just so scared of losing him. ”
” If fate has it that Kaden will die, you can not change it. You have to pray he doesn’t lose you too. ”
Illiana turned to Kaden’s direction,” This doesn’t make any sense to me. Why will all this be happening? Why would fate be so wicked towards us? ” She asked herself.
” Ana, you have to go home. ” She touched her shoulder. ” You need some rest too. ”
” I don’t wanna rest, I can’t. Not with all this yet to happen, do you still think I should take a rest? ”
She nodded her head.
” Kaden needs you, Ana. He is waiting for you.”
Ana again, turned to Kaden’s direction, tears has started to fill down her cheeks. ” You will be expecting some one soon.”
” I know you’re talking about my father, but he’s alright. The doctors are taking good care of him, very soon he will be discharged. ”
” That’s a good news. But, I wasn’t talking about your father, I was talking about this.. ” she said, touching Ana’s stomach.
” I… I don’t understand. ” She looked confused.
” Don’t worry, very soon you will. Now, wake up. ”

She gasped back to life, breathing heavily. Kaden held her face, he eyes has already started shading tears again.
” What is it this time, did you see anything bad?” He worriedly asked, hoping she hadn’t.
” It’s the tribulation. The war didn’t pass out, it did occur in the tribulation period. ” Her eyes beheld him, ” I met her, the Moon Goddess, she told me everyone will die in order for new lives to be reborn.
The earth will be gone for a while, ” shook her head, ” There will be no survival.”
” I knew it will all end this way, the prophecy never lies. ”
” I’m scared, Kad, I don’t wanna die. Not now, not now. ”
He hugged her, ” Even if we all have to die, I’m happy we’ll have to die together.”

While we returned back to our room, I touched my stomach. I still didn’t understand what the Moon Goddess meant by those statements.
Does that mean I have a problem with my stomach, or is there some thing worster than that? Oh, I hope it isn’t about being poisoned?!
He cuddled me as we laid on the bed, and I felt so comfortable in his embrace. I laid my head on his chest, ” Do you think we will end up together in the after life?” I asked him.
” Yes, there’s always a new hope in the after life. You scared we won’t meet if we die? ”
I didn’t say anything.
” Don’t worry, we still have hope. ”
