Still standing in front of the hotel,I dialed Megan’s phone a couple of times desperately needing her to pick up.
A car pulled up in front of me.
It obviously looks like a private car.
Megan gets down and I hurried towards her, grabbing her up in a bear hug.
I squeezed the life out of her.”Where in God’s name have you been?F*ck! I was so worried”I buried my face in her silky hair and inhale her sweet scent, holding her curvy body to mine,not wanting to ever let go.
God!
It’s high time she knows how much she means to me….she can’t go scaring me like this.
She leaned back and I reluctantly let go, giving her a little space.
It’s clear from her body language that she wants some distance.
I noticed Landon walking towards us then I realized that this is his car.
“All you know how to do is be possessive over her,you can’t even take care of your woman”He growled.
I lurched toward him but Megan held me back.
“Just stop,Brad!”She thundered, harshly.
“Thanks for this evening, Landon”She said to the pr*ck who smiled broadly at her and walked off.
“I was worried sick about you and you were with him?”I asked, incredulously.
“I needed company so I called him”She replied, nonchalantly.
“If you need someone’s company.Aren’t I the first person you should called?For f*ck’s sake I even called you for countless number of times….why didn’t you pick up?”
“I didn’t want to”She blurted out.
I ran my hand through my hair trying to understand the hærd look on her face.
She is suddenly not the sweet Megan I’ve shared intensed moments with.
She looks so cynical.
“I’m sorry about today… I shouldn’t have told you Talia wanted to meet up…”
“It’s actually great that I met up with her,it was really an eye opening”
I frowned, she’s starting to scare me.
“What did she say to you?”
“Let’s just say,she made me realize how incompatible the two of us are”She laughed, bitterly.”What was I even thinking getting intimate with you?”
Okay… she’s taking this too far.
I slowly held her hands.
“I know she might’ve said horrible things to you but what we have is real and you know it.We’re perfect for each other,I believe that.This is just part of the hurdles that comes with being in a relationsh¡p,we can overcome it….”
“Overcome it?Brad, you’re Mr popular.We ain’t back yet in Chicago but look at how well you get attention from women.Just imagine when we go back… It’s f*cking stressful fighting for your attention….”
“I’m sorry, okay.You don’t have to fight for anything, I’ll tell them off myself.I’ll be faithful….”
“Well I don’t think I can be faithful”
I swallowed.”What do you mean?”
“Earlier,when Landon came to pick me up,we had s*x in his car”
I huffed.
She’s joking.
I know what she’s doing…. Talia’s words must’ve hurt her and she’s trying to say something to hurt me.
“You didn’t do that.You can’t do that”
She shut her eyes briefly.
“It happened”
“It didn’t”
“You can ask him if you want”
I winced, her words plunging a dagger through my heart.
Ask him?
I stared at her face hoping she would look less serious about this but she looked as serious as f*ck.
“Why?”My voice is extremely low.
She nibbled her lip and lifted up her face to stare at me.
“I felt depressed because I regret ever been close to you. I don’t know… I just needed to forget about how sad I feel and when he touched me….”
“Don’t give me the details!”I yelled startling her and probably everyone outside the building.”You let him touch you?”I asked in disbelief.
Tears trickled down her cheeks.
“You made me like this…. what was I supposed to do?”She shot at me, fiercely.
“You were supposed to close your f*cking legs”
“I wasn’t supposed to get intimate with you, that’s the only thing I regret…at least I won’t have any woman picking on me”
I snickered, darkly.”And what’s the best thing to do when you get picked on?F*ck any d*ck available? You’re such a slut”
“And you’re a man wh-re”She slammed,back.
“Man wh-re?At least I was going to stay faithful to you no matter how hærd it was!”
For seconds,we just stood there fuming heavily.
She doesn’t even look remorseful and she claims getting close to me was a mistake.
I thought we….. I thought she…
Then again she has never really took her time to tell me how she feels about me.
She was only in for the good s*x.
“I’ve not been with any other woman since the trip.Because I feel my body belongs to you now.My d*ck hærdens only seeing your face,it’s like it has been marked by you.My world brightens being with you and I thought you felt the same.No matter what Talia had said to you,I never expected you would let your guard down like this.I made a f*cking promise not to hurt you and this is what I get from you….. you’re right.We should’ve lived by the rules.This is the biggest mistake of my life.”
“Me too”She replied, quietly.
I walked off, needing to clear my head but I hope that by the time I return she might tell me that this isn’t true…that she didn’t cheat.
*MEGAN*
Of course,I didn’t f*ck Landon.
After thinking of ways to make Braden despise me again, I thought of his weakness.
How he gets mad when I accept gifts from Landon and I knew he would surely get beyond angry if I make him think that I accepted Landon’s d*ck too.
I never knew my acting skills had increased.
I made sure I hurt him.
As I laid on the bed that night,tears rolled down my cheeks touching the bed.
I’m sorry,Brad.
I’m so sorry.

I shouldn’t feel hurt by his words.
I provoked those harsh words from him.
I slowly wiped my tears away.
I did the right thing.
He’s going to be with Talia and he’s going to be well-known.
And I’m going to be okay.
The sound of a running water from the bathroom woke me up the following day.
Braden walked into the room with a towel around his wa-ist.
I miss having my bath with him.
I bit back my tears.
I shouldn’t miss anything with him.
Everything we had is over.
“Our flight leaves by 10:am.Just wanted to let you know in case you have any plans of going home…maybe you’d prefer f*cking Landon some more and….”
“I’m going home”I cut in unable to hear more hurtful words from him.
“Knock yourself out”With that,he walked back into the bathroom.
Silently,I cried.
I had heard him walked into the suite last night but we didn’t say a word to each other.
To actually think that I was starting to think of a happy ending for me.
I should’ve known better
Girls like me don’t get stuffs like that.
