Keith was just coming back from the hospital, it had taken an hour and thirty minutes before the doctor attended to them and they were able to leave the hospital.
There was no way he could allow his mom to drive so they had taken public transport, he couldn’t stop thinking about Sasha and how sad she had sounded when he had spoken to her on the phone, she had even been crying.
The bus comes to a halt so they alighted and the house keeper helps his mom out of the bus
As soon as he got to the house, he noticed a girl already waiting by the gate and as he got closer, he discovered that it’s one of the mean girls.
His mom and the housekeeper enters the house and he was left with the girl who hastily introduces herself
” hi! I’m Aminat”
” and so! Wait! How were you even able to locate my house, what do you want ”
Keith said with a frown
” hey! Chill, if you really like yourself, you’ll listen to what I have to say, it’s about your girlfriend ”
Aminat said and she watched as Keith’s face darkens.
” what happened to her, if you hurt her in any way I’ll hunt you and your pathetic friends down and make sure you go down to hell”
Aminat couldn’t help chuckling
” awnnn, how sweet, I wish I have a guy like you as my boyfriend, it’s just a pity that the girl you love so much isn’t worth it ”
It only made him angrier, who was this girl to tell him trash, when he had been at the lowest point in his life, it was Sasha that had been there for him, when his mom had been dying and he was contemplating to drop out of school and sell the house, it was Sasha that had hired an housekeeper for him and sent a huge amount of money to his account but this wasn’t the reason why he loves her, it wasn’t even because of how beautiful she is, it’s simply because the love he has for her, it’s something inexplicable, it’s something that had worked it’s way into his heart since they were kids.
” listen to me, Aminat, you have no right to tell me who deserves my love and who doesn’t, please leave, I have other important things to do”
Aminat checks the wrist watch on her wrist, it is exactly six o clock, two hours have passed since they had threatened Sasha and she hasn’t called.
” a wh-re doesn’t deserve your love, believe me I feel pity for you, I really do, I understand that you love her so much but girls like that would do you no good”
Aminat said as she handed him her phone as she played the video
Keith felt like he was being slapped at different angles on his face, he didnt know when his fingers started shaking, he watched in disbelief as the two guys had thier way, roughly with Sasha and Sasha seemed to be enjoying the wh0le damn thing, if not for her long brown hair and brown eyes, he would have sworn that the girl he was seeing in the phone isn’t Sasha Grey, the girl looks like another being entirely, he didn’t even know when the phone fell from his hands
” so you see lover boy, this girl is a wh-re and who knows if this video was recorded just yesterday… ”
He was opening the gate, he didn’t want Aminat to see the vulnerability displayed on his face, suddenly he turned back when he heard Sasha call his name, she was running to his house and her face paled when she saw Aminat.
” Kei..th!! ”
Sasha said as she ran to meet him, but he was already heading in,side the house, turning his back to her, he was about to close the gate but she leapt in just in time and held his hands
As he turned to face her, the look in his face pierced her more than a thousand arrows can ever do, he was so hurt, his eyes were filled with so much hurt, she had expected anger, but not this hurt.. Not this helplessness
He brushed of her hands and she only clung to him the more
” Ke..ith.. I’m.. I’m ….I’m sorry…. It was.. Months ago.. I was… So… Stupid.. Back then ”
Keith dipped his hands in his hair in frustration
” it’s disgusting Sas.ha.. You’re dis..gusting”
The tears she was trying to supress came flooding her face, she knew she was disgusting but hearing him say it, it hurts more
” but Keith, you said when.. When you look at me, that you don’t see the girl.. I once was.. You only see the girl.. I’ve become”
” damn it Sasha… I knew you had changed but not this much.. What were you thinking… Those guys are in the same department with me… They sit behind me, I knew you had changed.. I.. Just.. I.. Just didn’t know you’ve changed into a wh-re ”
He walked away from her, leaving her in a daze.
” I changed.. Because.. Of you.. ”
She wanted to yell at him but she her words were choked with tears.
She stumbled blindly out of the house and she saw Aminat, still waiting there with a victorious smile on her face
” only your boyfriend has seen it and you’re already a crying wreck, what would happen to you when you face the wh0le school ”
Aminat cooed and Sasha didn’t know when she slapped her hærd on the face, raining her with slaps and pumelling her to the ground
” he wasn’t meant to see this… I never wanted him to.. It was a part of my past but you showed it to him and you made him hate me…..
She wasn’t a violent person but somehow her anger had triggered those actions, she left Aminat whimpering and cursing as she tried to find her way home, it was barely evening but the day was already looking gloomy and dark, it suddenly felt like there was nothing more in this life to live for.
She trekked all the way home, she only wanted one thing, to bury her head in her pillow and sob her heart out but she no matter how much it hurts, she knew she had made the right decision by choosing friendsh¡p over love.
Tori was waiting for her the moment she entered the house, her eyes were swollen and filled with unshed tears and Sasha swiftly tried to stop her own sniffling, cleaning up her face until they were damp
” Tori, what on earth happened to you ”
Sasha asked
” Sasha.. Is it true that. That I’m fat and ugly, that I’m an embarrassment to the team, that… That …
Suddenly the door bursts open and Erica ran into the house
” I saw seventeen missed calls on my phone, Sasha what..
Her eyes w¡dened in alarm as she saw Tori’s face and the traces of dried tears on Sasha’s face
” did those bastards hurt you ” Erica asked her face already turning angry
” no.. At least.. Not physically… ..
Sasha said
She could understand how Tori felt she stared into the girls face
” Tori, do you know I was once like you ”
Tori’s found it unbelievable, no Sasha had never been like her, Sasha has the perfect figure, Sasha had never been bullied, she doesn’t know what it feels like to be suicidal, she doesn’t know what mental torture feels like
” I can never believe you were once fat like me ”
Tori said
” no, I was never fat and you’re not either, you’re not fat and ugly, you’re chubby, beautiful, infact you’re the most beautiful among us, I was once like you, so innocent, I believed what everyone said about me, they said I was a good girl and I believed it and because everyone said I was good, I believed it, I.. Was.. I was fourteen.. Still good and innocent until he called me.. A bitch.. A manipulative bitch, I didn’t know he was merely accusing me of something I didn’t do until weeks later but then.. I had already changed.. I had already changed into a bitch, I wanted to make him jealous, damn it.. I changed because of him but now.. It isn’t worth..it, don’t allow anyone to change you, continue being the innocent girl that you are because it’s never worth it at the end…
” you’re crying Sasha ”
Tori said and Sasha felt her w-t cheeks
” yeah I..am ” she sniffled and made an attempt to clean it but Erica simply hugged her
Tori didn’t know why Sasha was crying but she could feel the pain in those words, she realized Sasha was right, for a while, she had been contemplating to surrender Erica over to those girls, she felt disgusted with herself for having those thoughts, she had wanted to take that syringe so she can be slim, so she can have the only guy she had ever wanted, Viktor Peterson, but Sasha was right, it wasn’t worth it, she didn’t need to change herself for anybody, she had to accept that she was great just the way she is.
Even as Erica hugged her, Sasha couldn’t stop feeling disgusted with herself
She disentangled herself from the hug and brought out her phone, her s*x video was the topic of discussion in the school’s group chat, she played the video and hands it to Erica, she couldn’t stop her voice from wavering
” watch it. Erica.. Watch it.. And tell me what you see ”
Tori huddles close to Erica, she too wanted to see the mystery on the phone but she didn’t expect Sasha to be the mystery and she had to blink in surprise as she stared at the girl that was mo-ning loudly, shamelessly enjoying every inch of the twosome
Erica simply paused the video, she didn’t want to watch it anymore, she felt revolted, repulsed and disgusted but her disgust wouldn’t do any good to Sasha whose l-ips were trembling as she stared at her.
” he has seen it.. Aminat has showed Keith..and now.. It’s over between us ”
” oh.. Poor baby ”
Erica said before hugging Sasha again
” when I watched it.. To be honest.. I was disgusted but I realized that girl isn’t you, that isn’t the Sasha that I know, that’s not my best friend, that’s an entirely different girl, the girl that had lost her way but I’m glad you’re not that girl anymore, I’m just so sad that the video has gone viral and everyone will start throwing insults at you, but I know you’ll ignore every single one of them, I know you’ll walk with your head held high because you’re Sasha Grey, the strongest girl I’ve ever known and Keith will come around, believe me.. He will ”
Erica said and Sasha stopped her sniffling
” thank you.. Erica for not making me more bad about myself.. Do you really believe Keith will come around ?”
” yeah I do ”
” Erica is right, Sasha, he’ll come around and even if anyone says anything bad about you, we’ll be right there beside you ”
” I’ll even beat up anyone that says such and if Shanaya is there, they have just signed thier death warrant ”
Erica added and the three of them burst out laughing
” the mean girls wanted me to betray you, they promised to give me a syringe that will make me lose weight but I couldn’t bear to do that to you, Erica ”
Tori said and the duo gasped in surprise
” I thought it was only me! They threatened me that they are going to show Keith the video if I don’t lure you to a place with me and I couldn’t bear to!! ”
Sasha said
” oh my God! Those girls are despicable ”
” I think you should be careful, really really careful because those girls are specially after you, they want to break us emotionally but with you I can sense something more ”
Sasha said and silence fell upon the room.

Days later the girls finally decided on a song, they decided to dance to an h¡p-hop song
While Viktor and Erica’s love for each other was waxing stronger, Keith and Sasha were getting more distant to each other, Sasha tried so hærd to deal with the hurtful words, she couldn’t concentrate in class anymore, it hurts every single time Keith avoids her, she would go to his house everyday just to hear that he doesn’t want to see her, she was sinking into depression and her friends were the only ones that were keeping her sane
She focused all her energy on training the girls, and after every day of training, they got better and better.
Tori was no longer the same girl anymore, she had learned to stand up for herself and not allow anyone to bully her and there was already a guy in school that was trying to get her attention, but she fears that she was being stalked, someone was trailing her movements everyday and she knows it had to be one of those girls.
Her dear uncle, Mr Harry Gates, she didn’t even know how long he would be staying, she had asked him what work was he doing and he had only said he was doing online marketing but she could sense there was something fishy about him, the way he excuses himself everytime he goes out to receive a phone call.
It was during these days that Viktor Peterson finally changed his department, he had made enough money from his paintings and he could afford to pay his school fees and even rent a little apartment with the money he made, Erica was with him all the way, helping him with all the necessary books he would need and helping him write his name on it.
Even her hand writing is so cute, Viktor thought to himself, he felt so much apprehension as he was about to enter the class, he had wasted a wh0le year in science class and now he was about to start afresh in art class but Erica only squeezed his hand tenderly, her eyes shining with love and admiration
” It takes determination to follow one’s dreams and I’m so damn proud of you Viktor, so so much ”
And he had given her a tiny peck on the cheeks
He knew he didn’t deserve her and sometimes he couldn’t stop wondering why she had chosen him anyway
His mom had been apoplectic with rage when she heard he had changed departments and she told him she would make him change his department in a h-rder way, she would make life a living hell from him but he wasn’t moved by her threats anymore, he simply packed all his belongings and moved in with his friends, Quinton and Quentin.
Mrs Peterson was enraged, she had only been trying to help the bastard, he would gain a lot if he becomes a doctor and inherits the family business but the stupid idiot had thrown her offer right in her face.
When the mean girls made thier request, she agreed to help them, since the day Viktor Peterson walked out of the house, he had become her enemy and as for that stupid girl that loves her son , she would pay the huge price for loving her son.
Monica, Emerald, Aminat and Niniola exited the Peterson’s building, Monica was still a bit dazed that Mrs Peterson would agree to her plans like that, she held Viktor’s shirt in her hands and she couldn’t stop herself from sniffling the unique cologne
” Monica, don’t sniff it finish Na, we need to preserve the smell ”
Niniola said, Monica had been furious when those two girls decided not to betray thier friends, the Tess girls had posted a dance video the other day, Sasha was twerking crazily while Erica was stunting and flashing her hands across the screen
The girls were getting better with each passing day, Monica conceded but she would see the hands that Erica would flash when she was done dealing with her, she had been determined to hurt the girls emotionally but Erica would be hurt physically and emotionally, they had the girls under surveillance and hurting them was like piece of cake.
Viktor stared at the beautiful painting he had made, it was a painting of Erica and he had just finished framing it, this was the person he loves the most in the world, her eyes were dark and exotic and her mouth was curved into a mischievous smile, a smile that was synonymous to trouble, but so far, she had stayed away from trouble, except when anyone says anything bad about Sasha Grey, he didn’t want to think about Sasha Grey or the video that had went viral that had given all the guys in school a hærd on, including him.
So he stared at this melanin goddess and somehow he couldn’t wait to give her the painting even though it was late in the night. He hurriedly wrapped it and gave her a call.
” sweetheart I have a surprise for you, where are you ”
He said and her cheerful voice on the other end of the phone lifted his spirits
” uh..Vikky, this night, I’m in my street, my mom sent me a message and I’m about to go home ”
” you know what, just wait where you are, I’ll be with you in a minute”
He said and he was releived when she agreed
” Viktor where are you going this night ”
Quentin asked as he saw Viktor open the bedroom door
” I’m going to see Erica ”
” hmm, lover boy, you have never painted we your friends but you spent three good days working on that painting ”
Quentin teased, Quentin had been so supportive of him changing his departments, he had offered to take him in if things go wrong with his mom and he did
But Quinton was another thing entirely, he threatened him to stay away from Erica, that she was nothing but a game to him, he shouldn’t have fallen in love with her that Erica was beneath him but he had only shrugged and turned a deaf ear to him and since then, Quinton stopped talking to him.
Erica dropped her phone in her pocket after receiving the phone call, she couldn’t stop wondering which surprise Viktor has for her, she was used to his surprises, at times he would buy her necklaces, bracelets, infact she had never lacked anything whenever Viktor was around, when any of the girls at school was showcasing one of the latest things she had bought, Viktor would buy it for her the following day and she would warn him against excessive spending, she had a feeling that this surprise is very different and it is something she would like very much
The street was dark and she continued waiting there, moments later, she stiffened in shock an unfamiliar hand covers her face from behind but she only exhales in relief as she inhaled the familiar cologne
” Vikky, you scared me ”
He pressed a cloth to her nose and instantly she felt weak, she was struggling to stay conscious, she scre-med as she felt a blinding pain in her hands as three of her fingers were severed, she fell limply to the ground, the blood from her severed fingers trickling on the ground, her brain jumbled with thoughts, but she was too weak to scre-m, as she floated between consciousness and unconsciousness, she was only filled with one thought that he did this to her… How.. Could he
That was the last thought in her head before finally giving in to the unconsciousness that swamped her senses
