If you haven’t noticed or if you had no idea, there is just something special that you should know about me. I am very good when it comes to pretending and stuff. So you still remember that incident, that day when I knew my mother-in law wasn’t feeling well and still sat in my room minding my own business, hubby scolding me and all of that. Oh no that was part of the wh0le thing that I had planned with Tiffany. You see I didn’t want Jamal to know that I was mistreating his mother. When he finally got to learn that I hated her guts big time that was like jackpot to me.

I finally decided to apologize to him, apologizing for being too rude and harsh on his mother. My apology was accepted and I have been getting along with my mother in law. Oh not don’t worry, I am not planning on doing this for long. This is just for the meantime because I have planned something big for her. You see Jamal loves me and there is something that I have noticed. He will never leave me no matter how evil I am. If he wanted to leave, shouldn’t he have done that a long time back ago? You see he was still here with me and I bet thinking that I had suddenly changed. I will never change; I will always hate that woman.

Right, so what I have planned for her now is very dangerous, it involves me hurting myself or Jamal. I want to finally, permanently get rid of her. You must be cursing right now, calling me names and stuff but i don’t care. No one was going to make me change the way I felt about that woman. I have been trying to eat what she cooked even though I hesitated, I didn’t want hubby to know what I was up to.

My husband had left the house with his mother when I took the small plastic. in,side the plastic was some traditional poison that I got from Tiffany. She told me what I had to do; she told me that if I wanted my mother-in law to permanently lose her son then I must as well make his son believe that she was actually a witch. Oh no that wasn’t my idea but Tiffany’s and I was ready to do it. Thank goodness she didn’t lock her room, well she never did and so I walked in,side her room and placed the poison where it was going to be very easy for Jamal or anyone to find it.

Trust me when I say today something big is going to happen and I honestly can’t wait for that woman to be taken to prison, for her to pay for ever coming in between me and my husband. You should have seen the smile on my face when I was doing all of this. I made sure that everything was in order before I go back to my room. It’s a Saturday and Jamal should be on his way back from their field trip with his mother. Oh no I have been trying to be the good daughter-in law. I have actually been doing laundry for her, cooking and also cleaning the wh0le house including her room. Things have been good at home and this was me trying to act all innocent, proving to my husband that I had changed. Change for what? Do you think people like me can easily change? That will be a miracle please, I will never change for that woman and that was just a fact but for Jamal, I was willing to pretend.

Jamal arrived later on with his mother, it was around afternoon and I acted all happy to see them.

‘How was your day mum?’ that was me asking her with a big smile spread across my face, I even took her bag.

The ‘mum’ part, I had to say it. I am telling you, I had to make things look all real and not fake. I was very good in acting as you have noticed it before and what I was doing right now, hilarious love.

‘My day was okay and yours,’ she asked with a smile too.

Oh she always smiled at me and I hærdly did it. It’s not like her and I were best friends.

‘My day was okay and I hope Jamal didn’t starve you.’

Just hear me acting all concerned. Who cares if she dies with hunger? I was willing to starve her if it was I who took her out. No, why would I even take her out? It’s not like we are best friends now. Anyway I had a small talk with mum and boy was I faking the smile as well. I was laughing out loud but deeply cursing her. You could have seen Jamal’s look, I am sure he was being proud of me. I followed Jamal to our room just after having had some small talks with mum. She was telling me about her day and I was just listening to her telling me her stories, how she had spent the day with her son. Pathetic!

‘I had missed you,’ I said to Jamal as I wrapped my arms around his wa-ist.

‘I had missed you too. You should have come with us.’

‘You know I had some things to do.’

He wanted me to tag along but I made several excuses. I also told him that it will be best if it’s just him and his mother. I did promise him that I will go with them some other time knowing fully well that there was never another time. Once my plan succeeded, we won’t be having that woman in our house.

‘I am so happy,’ he said taking my hand and we sat on the bed.

‘Did you get a promotion?’

He laughed.

‘I wish, you know I am the boss and so they will never be such kind of thing.’

‘Then tell me the good news.’

‘You are getting along with my mother and that my lady is making me happy. I would like to thank you Emily, she is even happy now and this is all because of the effort you have made to get along with her.’

Dear hubby, Emily is just pretending and I am so happy right now that it’s working. Jamal even believes me; he thinks I am being honest with the wh0le thing. Do you know what this means? Even if something bad happens right now, he won’t suspect me. He will probably suspect his mother because by then I will be in a comma. Maybe it’s just time for me to come out with the truth, enough with the waiting because I honestly have got some exciting news to share with you all. You want to know what I have planned for this woman. Well you wait tonight and find out what I have in store for her.

‘You don’t have to thank me Jamal. It is my duty as a daughter-in law to try and get along with my mother-in law. I am sorry I was being tough on her, that was so bad of me and I promise you I will treat her with respect and will always treat her the same way I treat my mother. I should go to the kitchen and start with dinner,’ I said getting up and he pulled me back, ‘Jamal.’

‘Mum said that she is going to cook for us tonight, I want to be with you right now,’ he said k-ssing me.

If that woman volunteered to cook then bravado, she just had to complete my mission. I wanted to make excuses about not wanting to cook tonight and I was still trying to come up with excuses but thank goodness, I don’t have to lie. Me and hubby we did a little something and I just enjoyed it. After some few minutes, we went to take a bath. I was hoping to walk in the kitchen and do what I wanted to do. I walked out of our room and went to the kitchen where I found my mother-in law almost finishing up.

‘I am almost done,’ she said to me when I walked in,side.

‘Something smells nice. This is good mum, I bet your son will bit his finger today,’ I said and she laughed out loud.

I was good with jokes too; trust me I was just good with everything, something that no one knew. So I helped mum set the table and when she showed me my plate that’s when I knew what I had to do.

‘You can go and wash up, I will finish off the rest,’ I said trying to get rid of her.

‘Thank you,’ she said removing her apron.

I waited for her to leave the room before taking out the poison I had placed in,side my b-ra. I quickly unwrapped the plastic and put it in my food making it look like she wanted to kill me. I got rid of the plastic. When mum walked in with Jamal, I was already sitting on my chair, waiting for them. They came to sit down and I said Grace. I knew how to pray to.

‘Sorry babe, can I have my chilly.’

‘Oh I forgot,’ said mum almost getting up.

‘Let me go get it,’ I said to her and got up from my seat.

I rushed to the kitchen and took his chilly. He loved it and couldn’t eat his relish without chilly. I came back and placed it in front of him.

‘Thank you,’ he said.

‘You are welcome.’

I just took my spoon and started eating not believing that I had poisoned myself. I mean who does that? I was willing to take the risk. We were quietly eating when Jamal started coughing. At first I scolded him for having put too much chilly but his cough continued and that got me worried. Something didn’t seem right, even his mum stopped eating.

‘Jamal,’ she called out his name when he started coughing out blood.

‘Jamal,’ I shouted when he fell down on the floor.

He was coughing out blood. Jamal had taken my plate. He always does that, taking my plate and giving me his. He must have switched the plates when I went to the kitchen. My heart couldn’t stop pounding and I couldn’t stop shouting out his name.

‘Help!’ I shouted and thank goodness the driver was nearby.

Jamal was unconscious when we were taking him to the car. He wasn’t supposed to eat the food but I was supposed to. What if he was going to die? It was all her fault; she is the main reason why I had become this evil. I will never forgive her if anything bad happens to my Jamal. I might as well tell them that she tried killing her own son.
