“Who’s coming for me?” Pearl said and winked at the five guys

” Coming here means asking for death” the gang leader said and they all charged towards them, one per one….the leader went for Pearl ..

“Your big mouth will make me kill you gruesomely” he said and brought out his sharp knife, the ray of light is making it shine and that’s just a confirmation that it’s brand new

“Welcome dear, will you stab my tummy or my arm” Pearl replied, swinging the metal pipe while rounding the circle with him

The others are already in an hot combat with the hoodlums and the place is a total chaos already

“Aaaaaa!!” The leader yelled, running towards Pearl with his knife raised up to stab but Pearl bent down and he ran past her to collide with the wall, the knife got stuck in the wall and while trying to remove it, Pearl hit him once on the head with the pipe and he staggered, he almost fell but held his head before facing her

He raised his leg to her face and she made to duck but she wasn’t fast enough, he kicked her face and small blood escaped the corner of her l-ips

She touched her l-ips and saw the blood then went wild with fury

“You just touched the whisker of a sleeping lion” she said and curved her pouty l-ips before advancing towards him

She threw the pipe down and made a pose, waving her hand and telling him to come

He came and she hit his face with a punch, his nose bled and he grunted before trying to retaliate with the knife but Pearl kicked his arm and the knife fell off his hand

He tried to take it but Pearl turned around and gave him a spin kick, he fell on the ground and gro-ned, bleeding from the mouth

He struggled to stand again and tried to kick her but she grabbed his leg and swirled his body in the air before throwing him on the wall, he crashed on it and spit out more blood then passed out

“Son of a fool” she said, breathing heavily and wiping the blood on her l-ips

“Come here son, children who fail to listen to their mothers are bound to suffer” Natalie said, pulling the hair of her opponent who’s obviously tired already

She pulled his hair more tightly and he let out a painful yell

Natalie let him go and picked his knife that fell on the floor, he digged it into his belly without thinking twice and his blood stained her face as it gushed out

“Aarrgh!!!!” He yelled in agony

“You won’t die son, this is just to teach you a lesson” she said and kicked his face, he went down straight and Natalie stuck hands with Pearl

“We rock” they chorused and went into the only room in the house, Kingsley is there, tied to a chair with blood all over him

Pearl was faster in rushing to him and when she saw the knife stuck in his belly, she gasped, covering her mouth in shock

“Kingsley” she cried and held his face, he’s limp and his face is just.. pitiful, full of bruises

“Kingsley ” Pearl said, shedding more tears which made Natalie guess what’s really happening

She looked at her, pouring out her emotions on unconscious Kingsley, she understood immediately

She quickly untied him and he almost fell but they both held him..

Richmond raised a leg to the wall and while coming down, he bent his knees and crashed on his opponent, they went down together with him on top, he slapped and punched till he saw his teeth flying out of his mouth

He stood from him and got a metal pipe

“Please… please don’t use that on me please.. please” he pleaded fast but Richmond dealt him with the pipe on the head without wasting time and he started bleeding

“Bring him here” Jasmine said to Artemis who’s holding his bleeding opponent

Jasmine held up his opponent who’s already on the ground and they rushed and collided with each other, hitting the heads of their opponents on each other and allowing their painful cries to fill the place

Jasmine started hitting his opponent’s face with heavy punches and even though he’s bleeding already he continued punching till he fell

“Eew” Jasmine said when he saw his hand is stained with blood

Artemis just gave his opponent double kick on the groin and that made him go down

They went into the room and met Kingsley on the ground with Natalie and Pearl beside him already

“The knife” Jasmine said, staring at the knife on his belly

“I’ll remove it” Richmond said

“No it’s better we get to the hospital first” Artemis said

Richmond carried him and they left the place, meeting the cops outside

“The bastards are in,side” Natalie said and they went in

Though there are hospitals in Seongnam but when a call was made to his parents, they insisted that he should be brought back to the family hospital in Seoul for treatment and they reluctantly did that

The drive back to Seoul was rougher than the drive to Seongnam so they got there in less than an hour

He was quickly taken into the hospital on a stretcher and was taken straight to the theatre for surgery to remove the knife

“Is that really my son?, Is that really my one and only Kingsley?” Bianca said ,not believing what the hoodlums turned Kingsley to especially with the knife on his belly

“They’re spending everlasting life in jail I promise” Kay said, going out of the hospital with his trail of guards and driving straight to the police station

Jewel’s car stopped in front of the hospital and she rushed out of it, immediately she made to step in, Richmond blocked her way and took her back to the park

“Why?, I need to go see him” she said, sniffing loudly and rubbing her nose slightly

It’s obvious she has not stopped crying

“You’ve been crying since we left?” He said

“That doesn’t matter right now, where’s my boyfriend?” She asked impatiently

” He’s in surgery right now, the knife has to be removed from his belly” Richmond said and regretted saying that instantly

” Knife?, In his belly?, Like what the hell did they do to him!, They stabbed him?, Richmond talk to me!” She cried

” Ok yes….he was stabbed but he’ll be ok after the surgery I promise’ he said

“I need to go see him Richmond I’m not ok, my head is wrecking and my heart lost it’s beats already, I need to see him badly Richmond” she said and made to go again but Richmond held her

” You can’t go in” he said

“Why?”

“His mother is the only one allowed to stay in the theatre hallway, the rest of us waited in the general reception” Richmond replied

” Then I’ll go in and tell her I’m his girlfriend” she blurted

” Even when you know how his parents are?, Do you want to go to jail?, If you go in now and tell them that, his mum is a psycho, she’ll flare up on you and I’m 100 percent sure that she’ll order your arrest” Richmond said

” I don’t care Richmond!, I don’t care!” She said, trying to break free but he hugged her to calm her down while her tears kept pouring

“Calm down Jewel, calm down and just go home for now, you have to stay ok for him till he wakes up, Please Jewel, just calm down” he said, patting her back gently while she kept crying in his arms

“The hoodlums gang who tagged themselves “Young Knives” has been captured not long ago as the abductors of Kingsley Brown, the only son of Bianca and Kay Brown who are the richest after the president, the Young Knives who were mercilessly thrashed by some fighters are to be sent to the central jail tommorow according to Kay Brown’s orders, Kingsley Brown is currently at the Browns family hospital where he’s currently receiving treatment”

The newscaster finished the headline and moved to another, everyone heaved and sighed

They’re all still waiting at the reception though the surgery is over an hour ago but Bianca and Kay Brown has refused to let anyone enter his ward besides Veera, not even Jasmine or Richmond

Bianca and Kay came out of the VVIP ward arrogantly and faced them

“No one is allowed into my son’s ward except Veera, if anyone enters, he or she is going to jail” Bianca said, rolling eyes

Jasmine tried to let out his anger on them but Natalie held him back

Over ten guards entered immediately and stood gallantly in front of the ward

“If anyone tries to force his or herself in, I order you guys to hand the person over to the cops” Kay said to the guards who bowed as the couple left the hospital

“This is freaking bullshit!, How can they not allow us to go see him!” Jasmine ranted in rage

” Why do I feel like beating up these sheepish guards” Pearl said

” Don’t, Bianca and Kay means every word, you’ll land in jail” Richmond said and Pearl breathed hærd

” This is hærd” Love said

” I know right?, After all the help, we won’t even get to enter” Natalie said

Jasmine yawned and placed his head on the shoulder of Artemis who’s beside him

Artemis looked on in awe

“You don’t know how to calm an angry person down?” Jasmine said and Artemis smiled

He quickly started stroking his hair and Jasmine took his head off his shoulder

“I’m not a girl!, Why stroke my hair” he said and pouted

Natalie giggled with Pearl

” That d*ckhead” Richmond smiled

Artemis blinked severally, fighting back his tears before hugging Jasmine and he let out his tears

“I’m so sorry” he said

“This will be the twenty ninth time you’ll be saving sorry since it happened, don’t say it again please…I’m tired of hearing it” he said

” I’m sorry Jax” Artemis said again, crying more

” There he goes again, and why are you crying like a girl” Jasmine said, patting his back

” If you look at them right now you’ll think Jax is the eldest” Pearl said and they all laughed, lightening up the dull moment

“So they were enemies before” Natalie said

“Big enemies!, For a valid reason anyways” Richmond replied and Natalie sighed, watching them interestingly

Jasmine broke the hug and wiped Artemis tears

“Don’t cry anymore baby brother” Jasmine said

“Jasmine is too insane, how could he” Love laughed, holding her sides

” I know right?” Natalie laughed too

“And go find yourself a girlfriend, I once heard you saying you won’t date anyone till I forgive you, now I’ve forgiven you, date a pretty lady” Jasmine said seriously

“Fall in love again soon, please” Jasmine said pleadingly

“I will, in fact I’m already falling” Jasmine replied and Artemis smiled

” I love you bro” he said

“I love you too crybaby” Jasmine said and they hugged again

“How old is he?” Natalie asked Richmond, referring to Artemis

“Twenty four, your age” Richmond replied

“But he’s being a crybaby, how babyish” Natalie said

” You might wanna make him your groom, I’ll talk to him for you” Richmond said and she swat his arm

” F*ck you” she said.

Richmond walked to the door before giving her the middle finger

“What the f” she muttered and went after him while Richmond rushed off

“I just love her personality” Pearl laughed

“Me too,… and Pearl” Love said

” Yes?*

” Can you continue behaving like this?, I love it” she said

“I wish I can” she replied

” You can do it sis, you can… please ok?’ Love said and Pearl just kept quiet

Love hugged her and stroked her hair fondly

“I love you sis” she said

“Love you too” Pearl replied

Kingsley’s ward**

Veera is sitting beside his bed, she’s not crying anymore but her face is so red as a result of much tears…

Kingsley is still unconscious on the bed and she’s just so scared right now cos the doctors said he’s still in a critical condition though his vitals are ok but anything might happen anytime

And the worse is that her thoughtless parents banned anyone from entering despite the fact that they’ll be travelling to London tomorrow for bussiness

“Their son is on the sick bed and they’re traveling to London, how cruel, I hate them!” She said to herself

She looked at Kingsley again and smiled. “I know you’re strong, your brain should remember your witch that’s waiting for you and you should wake up please Kingsley, I love you so much” she said, dipping her face in the space beside him

Richmond’s house*”

“What the hell!, They banned everyone from going in?, Who does that?” Romina said Immediately she was told

” Yes, you know they’ve both lost their sense of reasoning to money” Jasmine replied, sitting beside her, she pushed him away playfully and Jasmine smiled

“Jewel” Love said, sitting beside her while Natalie sat on her other side

“Stop crying like a baby, your baby will be ok, he’ll wake up soon” Natalie said, smiling and holding her face

“I just can’t stop” she replied

“You can, just try… he’ll be ok dear” Love said

“Veera is calling” Romina said, picking the video call on her phone

“Connect it to the laptop so it’ll be big enough” Natalie said and Richmond brought the laptop, it was connected and Veera came to view with Kingsley who’s lying helplessly on the hospital bed

“He’s fine but they say his condition is critical” Veera said, shifting the full camera to him

Jewel smiled, at least she saw him even if not directly, half bread is better than none

“My baby” she said, touching his face on the screen, smiling sadly

“He’s fine, now you can stop crying” Veera said

” I will, please take care of him I beg you” Jewel said

” Of course, I’ll take care of your jerk” Veera smiled

” Don’t hang up yet, I still want to stare at him” Jewel said

“Sure” Veera replied

They all left Jewel alone in front of the laptop, she touched his face on the screen again and bent over to k-ss him from the screen

“Please wake up soon baby, I love you so much, I love you a lot” she said, smiling again

Pearl watched her with the corner of her eyes and wondered weather to be happy for her or sad, she felt a bit of pity that instant.

“Ryder!” Ronny said when the door opened and Ryder came in

“Hey!” Love waved

He smiled before coming in fully

” I’m sorry for not coming since it happened, grandma was sick too” Ryder said

” What!, You should have told me, I’m not aware” Ronny said

” I decided not to, but she’s ok now” Ryder replied, sitting beside Love

” Reading mate” he smiled

“How have you been?” Love asked

” I’m good, thanks to you” he replied and Pearl can see Love blushing slightly

” So I heard entry into the ward is restricted” Ryder said

” Sure” Natalie replied

“I have an idea but we should apply it when he wakes up” Ryder replied

” Are you pondering what I’m pondering?” Jasmine said

Ryder stuck hands with him

” Sure” he said

” What are you guys talking about” Natalie said

“Not for kids” Jasmine replied and Natalie threw the remote, Jasmine ducked and escaped it but Romina picked it and threw it at him, it hit him directly on the head and she stuck hands with Natalie

“Ouch!, Romina wait for my revenge” Jasmine said, rubbing his head while they all laughed

Three days later, The Browns family hospital**

Three doctors can be seen rushing into Kingsley’s ward in a hurry and Veera shifted back for him to be attended to

She was actually on a video call with the guys when Kingsley started gasping for breath

“What’s happening?” Jewel asked impatiently

“I don’t know” she replied

The doctors spent over ten minutes before he was brought back to life, he woke up instantly

“Kingsley Brown?” One of the doctors called and he tried to sit up but his back hurts

“Lay down still” one of the doctors said but he tried once again and succeeded

” Where’s Jewel?” Was the first thing he said

“Who’s Jewel?” The doctors said in confusion.

“His Cinderella, guys you should come now…he’s awake!” Veera scre-med to the phone and threw it away before rushing to hug him tight

“Thanks for waking up for us, for me” she said

“Where’s Jewel I need to see her right now” he said

” Don’t worry your witch will soon be here” she replied and hugged him again.

Jasmine and Ryder entered the hospital with the others and when they’re about to enter the hallway that led to Kingsley’s ward, they used their masks

“Ready?” Jasmine said

“Ready” Ryder replied and they entered the hallway

The ten guards faced them immediately but they were fast in bringing out the sedating spray which they sprayed in the air and they slept off immediately, falling on each other on the floor

“Bunch of nincompoops” Jasmine said and started giving them knocks on their heads one by one

Richmond closed the hallway door after everyone has come in

“When is she coming?” Kingsley asked again in the ward, getting unbearably impatient

“Here” Veera said, pointing at the door where Jewel is standing with tears of joy in her eyes

Kingsley removed the drip in his hand and got down from the bed

“My baby” Jewel said

“Witch” Kingsley replied, too happy to see her again

Jewel took just four steps in running to him before jumping on him like a kid and hugged him tightly, entangling her legs behind him

“Jewel” Kingsley smiled, holding her tightly to himself
