“Who …. Are you?” Kingsley asked Cassy immediately she came down from his arms
She smiled and held his hands
“Cassy, I’m Cassy” she replied
“I’ve heard that before.. oh!, Len’s sister” Kingsley said
“And at the same time, your sister, you’re my second big brother Kingsley, I’m just so glad it’s you” Cassy said, shedding slow tears
” Brother” Len said and walked swiftly to him then hugged him tightly
“Len…”
“I’m so glad it’s you, no wonder I always feel a kind of bond with you, so it’s the brotherly bond” Len said, crying too but they’re tears of joy
“I don’t understand a thing, why is everyone confusing me” he replied
” My immediate brother was abducted from Dove hospitals ward 19, nineteen years ago” Len said
” What!” Kingsley replied shockingly
” Yes, it’s you, it’s surely you Kingsley, it’s you” Len said, smiling and crying at the same time
” You belong to our family big brother, you’re one of the Mendoza’s” Cassy said
” Here he is” Ria said, entering the ward with Josh
They came straight to him too and Ria held his face immediately, checking him out like a new born baby
“My baby” she cried, rubbing his cheeks gently
Kingsley can’t help but notice they have same brown eye color and her l-ips is just as curvy as his own…
“You were taken from me nineteen years ago Immediately I gave birth to you, Kingsley you’re my child” Ria said, still crying
Kingsley just stared at her, not knowing what to say or how to start talking
“There’s a mole on your neck right?” Josh said
” Yes ” Kingsley said slowly
” That was the only thing I recognized in you before you were taken away” Josh replied and came forward
Kingsley almost can’t believe his eyes, Their face shape is just the same and no single difference, Josh smiled and hugged him
“My son” he cried
Kingsley felt like crying too and before he knew it, he’s already crying
His eyes met with Jax and Jax smiled widely
“Embrace them, they’re your real family who knows your value” Jax said and Kingsley looked at Veera who’s still crying slowly by the door..
He slowly walked to her and hugged her tightly
“Stop crying” he said.
“You found your real family, will you neglect me?, I’m not your sister anymore” she said, crying more in his arms
” Don’t say that again, you’ll remain my baby sis forever, having two sisters is not bad, I love you so much Veera” he said, breaking the hug and wiping her tears
“I love you too big bro, I love you please don’t leave me, remain my big brother even if we’re not related” she replied
” Of course, I can’t leave you Veera” Kingsley replied and hugged her again, stroking her hair gently
“Happy and sad moment at the same time, this is legendary” Rosie murmured
” I know right?, But I’m glad he met his real family, he’ll be ok” Joey replied
Kingsley broke the hug with Veera and held her hand, bringing her to Ria and Josh
“Accept her as one of us too, please” he said and went on his knees
Ria quickly held him up
“I can do anything for my baby, this is the simplest baby boy, I understand you love her so much so I’d take her in and we’ll all live together happily” Ria said
” Yes, Cassy will be so happy to have another sis” Josh said and Kingsley smiled
Cassy held Veera’s hand and Veera faced her
“Don’t worry, he’s ours, ours alone” she said and Veera smiled
” Nice to meet you” she said
“Same here, let’s be the best sisters in the world” Cassy replied and they hugged too
Jax smiled and looked at Richmond
“You rock” Jax said
“I know, I get flattered easily” Richmond replied and Jax smiled
“So I’m….” Kingsley said
“Kingsley Mendoza” Len replied and Ria nodded
“Our golden boy” she said
“Our long lost baby boy but now found” Josh replied
“I don’t know what to do or say” Kingsley said, wiping the tears that is threatening to fall again
“Family hug” Pearl said
“Yeah, happy family hug” Love added and they all came together to hug including Veera
“Whoa!, It all ended faster than expected, all in one night” Jax said
” Yes, Kay is dead, Bianca is going to jail and T-Flames has been found dead too, what else but joy and peace of mind right now” Richmond replied..

Next day, cops station**
Kingsley and Veera took their seats as Bianca was taken out to them
She sat in front of them and sighed
“Thanks for agreeing to come and see a devil” she said
“Say whatever you have to say, I can’t spend much time here” Veera said
” My baby, lovely daughter,my pretty princess, I’m so sorry for all what I did, I’m sorry it has to end like this” she said and faced Kingsley who’s not even looking at her
” Kingsley….I know even if I apologise from now till eternity it won’t make up for my sins, don’t ever forgive me cos I don’t deserve forgiveness, just live fine and live well, love your Jewel till the end of time and I wish you the best in your love life, Kingsley…..” Bianca said and broke down in tears
” I’m gonna spend the rest of my life in regrets, I wish I hadn’t done it, I just wish….Veera your father is dead, Boniface died last year in a plane crash with the girl he betrayed me with” she said
” Whose surname is Brown?” Veera asked
” Kay’s… My surname is Blaire and your father, Boniface surname is Bernie” she replied
” So I’m Veera Bernie” she said and Bianca nodded
Her lawyer and Kay’s lawyer entered and placed some doc-ments on the table
“It’s the doc-ments of all our properties here in Korea, Australia, Germany, Italy, China and sixteen other countries, you just have to sign all these doc-ments and they’ll become yours, … Veera, Kingsley……live well and let love rule your hearts” she said and stood
She was taken away but she kept looking back till she’s out of sight
Veera can’t help but cry, no matter how bad she is she’s still her mother and she’s sure she’ll miss her sometimes
She looked at Kingsley and their eyes met
They looked back at the doc-ments in front of them and slowly took pens from the lawyers before starting the signing.

The Merricks**
“Welcome to our small house” Ria said when Kingsley came in with Veera
He looked around and smiled
“We cooked you something” Josh said
“Yes, eat your mother’s meal for the first time” Ria said and Cassy went with her to the mini kitchen attached to the entrance
They brought two trays of food and settled the meals on the floor
Kingsley sat on the floor with Veera and the sweet aroma is hanging in the air already
He took the chopsticks and tasted the gimbap first
“How does it taste?” Josh asked
Kingsley smiled and nodded,
” The best I’ve ever eaten”
” Really?” Ria smiled
” Sure”
” I and Cassy made all the dishes” Ria said and Kingsley looked at Cassy who’s smiling beside Veera
” Baby sis can cook” he said and she blushed
“Sure”
“You’ll teach me how to cook please..my mother in-law insisted that I should learn” Veera said
” Really?, You have a fiance already?” Cassy asked and Veera showed her the ring on her finger
“Whoa!, That’s cute” Ria said
“He’s Ronny Bennett” she replied
“You mean the president’s only son?” Josh said and Veera nodded
” How cool you’re so lucky, don’t worry when we finally get to live together I’ll teach you everything you need to know about dishes” Cassy said
” You’re the best” Veera said
Kingsley picked part of the meal with the chopsticks and checked it out first, he has never seen it before
“That’s spicy stir fried octopus” Len said, coming in
“Big brother” Kingsley said, his face lightening up
Len sat beside him
“Baby bro” he said and pat his back
“Why is Veera not eating” Len said
“I’ll eat later I promise” Veera replied
“No, it’ll get cold” Len replied and gave her chopsticks, she smiled and started eating too
“My friend got me a job in a water company, I’ll deliver water with the delivery vans” Len said
” No!” Kingsley and Veera said at the same time
” No you can’t, there are lots of B-KAY companies you can head, you can choose to be in charge of B-KAY HIGH or the mining company or the automobile or petroleum or textiles or pharmaceuticals or labs or jewelries or confectionery and lots more either here in Korea or outside the country” Veera said
” You guys own it,it won’t be fair to share with you guys” Len said
” That’s true” Josh said
” Says who?, The properties are too much and we don’t even know how to handle them, we had to hire caretakers to be in charge of everything just mention it…ok from Monday you’ll be in charge of B-KAY automobiles… there’s one branch here and there’s a branch in America and one is in Hong Kong, which one do you prefer?” Kingsley said
” I can really….own an automobile company?” Len said unbelievably
” Sure just mention it” Veera replied and Len hugged Kingsley
“I’m so glad I’m your brother”
“Me too, you’re the best, so are you staying here or going out of the country” Kingsley replied
” I’ll stay here, I want to stay close to mum and dad” he replied
” Just cool, I think Jewel’s dad should be in charge of B-KAY HIGH, what do you think?” Kingsley asked
” That’s cool, and I think dad and mum should be in charge of the confectionery” Veera said slowly
” You don’t have to be afraid to address us as your parents” Josh said
“Really?, I can really call you my parents?” She replied
” Of course, you’re part of us” Ria replied
Veera stood and went to sit in their middle
” Thanks for taking me in, being lonely really freaks me out, thanks for not taking Kingsley away completely” she said
Ria smiled and stroked her hair
” You’re so beautiful” she said
“Thanks mummy” she replied and hugged her
” Waiting for my hug” Josh said
“Ok news flash, dad is a very jealous husband so anything you do to mum, do to him too” Cassy said and Veera smiled before hugging Josh too
” And we’re moving to an island tommorow” Kingsley said
” Yes, the one and only B-KAY island, we’ll be living there as from tomorrow, you don’t need to pack anything, just move there and we can go for shopping after that” Veera said
” An island!!” Josh and Ria exclaimed

B-KAY family hospital**
Jewel is still not awake and her parents and sisters are still beside her
It took a lot of persuasion before Kingsley could agree to leave her and go to his parents, Rosie had to convince him that they’ll all stay with her and that was when he left
The dermatologist came in and she was given space to check her out on the bed
“Her skin is not beyond repair, it’ll be back to normal after receiving treatment for a month or so but she has to wake up first before I’ll start work on her skin” she said
” Ok doctor, doctor Kang said it might take a while before she wakes up but immediately she wakes up please start work” Joey said
” Of course” she replied and left
Romina and Ronny came next
” Rommy strong-head” Love said and she smiled
“Don’t mind her, these days she doesn’t sleep, she only dreams of Jax and will always scre-m his name from her sleep” Ronny replied and Romina hit him
” I hate you!”
” Hello here!” Jax said, coming in with Richmond Natalie and Artemis
Romina went mute
“Hey perverted Jax” Pearl said
“Whatever” Jax replied
“She’s improving right?” Natalie asked
“Yes, luckily she’s responding to treatment” Rosie replied
” I’m glad” Natalie smiled
Jax caught Romina staring at him and gave her an “I don’t care” look before looking away
Romina felt like a bee just stung her heart and it hurts
“Exams starts tomorrow and I haven’t even read anything, jeez!” Richmond said
” Me too” Richmond replied
” Same here” Ronny replied
” Same here” Romina said
“Same here” Ryder added, just coming in
Love’s face brightened up
“What the hell!, How are you guys gonna pass” Natalie said
“We’ll get the best results, I’ll just start reading tonight” Jax replied
” If you get anything less than 80 in all your final result subjects, you’re dead” Artemis said and Jax rolled eyes
” Same applies to you Richmond” Natalie said
“I’ll try my best” Richmond replied
” But how’s Jewel’s exams gonna be?” Ryder asked
” Kingsley said she’ll be chanced to write it anytime she wakes” Ronny replied
” That’s just…great” Ryder said
“And now I wonder when my sissy will wake up” Beverly finally talked
” Cutie, don’t get impatient she’ll soon wake up” Natalie said and Beverly smiled

Next day, the Bennett’s**
“I’m sorry about everything that happened ” Mr Bennett said to Veera who’s sitting beside Ronny on the couch, Ronny is rubbing the back of her hand gently
“It’s fine sir, I’m ok thanks to Kingsley and my newfound mum and dad then my newfound sister and brother, I have a lot of people around with you ma and sir” she replied
” Are you talking about Kingsley’s family?” Mrs Bennett asked
” Yes ma’am ” she replied
“Just great, I’m glad you got over it so soon, I was honestly still expecting you to be moping around” Mr Bennett said
” I was expecting myself to be like that too but thanks to lovely people around and…my Ronny” she said and Ronny blushed
” Look at him blushing” Mrs Bennett said and Ronny hid his face in Veera’s shoulder
“You both are so cute and it reminds me of my young love days with my wife” Mr Bennett said and held Mrs Bennett who started blushing too
” You blushed ma’am” Veera said
“Did I?” Mrs Bennett said and Veera laughed with Mr Bennett.

Night, the Mendoza’s**
“The affidavit will be approved tommorow for my change of surname” Kingsley said
” Mine too, I’m Veera Bernie,not Brown” Veera replied
” Kingsley Mendoza, sounds great than Kingsley Brown right?” Ria said
” Sure, Mendoza is the best surname” Len replied
Cassy lay the clothes mat and they all lay on it to sleep
Josh, Ria, Len, Kingsley, Cassy then Veera though it’s uncomfortable but this will be their last night here anyways
“Feels good to be with my real family” Kingsley said
“It’s the best feeling ever right?” Veera said
” Of course” Kingsley replied
” I just hope your girlfriend wakes soon, you’ve been smiling and laughing since but I can’t help but notice your smiles and laughter is not sincere, it’s fake and sad” Ria said
” I noticed too” Josh replied
” I really want to see her talk again…you know, she’s the most loving girlfriend one can ever ask for” he replied
” I understand you, but keep calm, she’ll be fine and I’m glad that there’s no more troubles, everything is over” Ria said
” Thanks mother” Kingsley replied
“And thanks father…I love you both and I’m back to stay forever,no Kay will take me away from you guys forever” he said
” We love you too” they chorused
” Let’s sleep, it’s late already” Len said and Kingsley closed his eyes but he never slept till daybreak, all he kept thinking about is her.

Next day**
Romina branched a store on her way to the hospital to get candies since she’s craving for it
She went into the store with her guards behind her and when she pointed at the product she wants, one of her guards picked it for her and went to the stand to pay
She left the store and surprisingly just by the door she met Jasmine just coming in
They stopped to stare at each other and she can almost hear her heartbeat, it’s so hærd and loud, she wanted to talk but it’s like a lump formed in her throat, preventing her from talking
Jasmine shocked her by walking past her as if he didn’t see her
She suddenly fell by herself and held her leg
“Oh my gosh!, My leg hurts!, My leg!, It’s so painful gosh!, My leg!” She shouted and her guards tried to touch her but she pushed them away, hoping Jasmine will come back for her but he didn’t
She stood and walked furiously to the car
“Drive me back home” she said and can feel her tears about to fall.

B-KAY family hospital**
“What’s up why is everyone out?” Kingsley asked when he got there and met them all outside the ward
” She woke up and the doctors are busy attending to her” Pearl replied
” She woke up?” Kingsley said and barged into the ward just when the doctors are just done with her
“She’s awake fully” doctor Kang smiled and he walked slowly to her bed
When he saw her eyes is really opened, he can’t control the happiness
“Jerk…” Jewel said weakly, smiling with her pale face
“Witch….you woke up for me” he replied, shedding tears of joy
She raised up her hand
” Help me sit up” she said and he gently held her hands, he sat her up and she can see her wrinkling her face in pains
“Are you ok?” He asked but instead of answering, she hugged him tight
” I thought I was never gonna see you again, I’m glad you’re still with me I love you Kingsley” she said
” I’m sorry for all the pains and hurts, I’m sorry for everything my priceless Jewel, and you know i love you more than anything….” He replied, gently stroking her hair ..
