Nicc couldn’t move when he spotted Bella dancing away happily inside the party hall, he was angry, smiling for it have been long he saw her dance and sad too when he came to his knowledge that it was Chloe who brought her here
He burned in anger, what’s Chloe doing with her all the time?
It dawned on him immediately that Chloe loved her or perhaps likes her
He grinned, it was a bad idea coming here in the first place. His heart was breaking seeing her run off with Chloe
He will fix this, he must! He won’t allow Chloe have her even if Bella really meant a span away from him
He won’t allow it!

Chloe piggy-backed her to the car after much persuasion before taking her home
He dropped her off at her home, waved her a good bye and then drove to his own home
He was greeted with a slap by his hot-tempered dad for going near his car especially his Lamborghini which he bought few months ago

He didn’t get angry, do you know why? Whenever he remembered how he piggy backed Bella, he will smile forgetting that he got hit by his dad
Brad was suspicious seeing that guy who brought his sister home again
He was red with jealousy but won’t say it out cuz Bella slept off almost immediately she came home

Bella’s POV
Brad’s rattle woke me up from sleep, I sprang up from the bed to get his words and know why he’s so angry this early morning too
“What’s it? Why are you in my room? “I asked yawning and hurrying out of bed too so I could dress for school
“Who is that guy? “He asked out of the blues
I perked my brow not understanding his point
“Which guy? “I asked him before getting out of my pyjamas wearing only my pants and singlet
“The one who brought you home yesterday ”
He clarified and I hissed
“How’s that your business? “I snapped at him
“Don’t you see the way he looks at you? He likes you! ”
He said out of points which made me laugh like a monster
“I’m serious! And I hate him! “I laughed the more
“Really? Look, he’s just my friend and why would he like me? I’m not even beautiful ”
He smirked
“Think beyond that Bella, how many times have you caught him staring at you? ”
He was making a point, I’ve caught him several times staring at me … No my face is just too funny to be looked at
“Brad, I don’t know what you’re saying but all I know is that Chloe doesn’t like me”
I patted his shoulder ready to go into the bathroom
“I see why they call you a nerd, you’re so dumb and you don’t seem to know the actions of people around you! ”
I stopped in my tracks regarding those words he said
Did he just say that to me! I turned swiftly to face him
“What did you just say? How is it your business… “I withheld my words
He was just being a brother that’s all
I swallowed my words
“Get out! “I ordered him and he was reluctant at first before stepping out
I sighed when he banged my door close
He made a point tho, he piggy backed me twice, went out in the rain because of me, took me out on a party, then his stares???
What does it all mean? That he likes me??

Chloe’s POV
I smiled at myself after I was done preparing for school
I hung my backpack loosely on my back and examined a spot where my dad hit me on my cheek last night
It wasn’t all that visible, even my swollen face was all fresh and normal like it used to
I smiled at my reflection again touching the loose ends of my hair so as to make it appear more appealing to girls
Nicc came in standing behind me on the mirror, I could see him through the reflection
“We need to talk”he spoke and I smirked
I turned around
“Well, as you can see am going to school and won’t want to talk to jerks like you”I replied and he rolled his eyes at me
“We still have to talk “he repeated and I knew he was serious about anything he wanted to say
“Go on”I urged
He nodded his head
“Do you like Bella? “He asked a question which threw me off balance
“Yes”I replied, I didn’t want to lie and I wanted him to stick that into his head so he won’t show up someday and take her away from me
He smirked
“Are you aware Bella likes me? “He asked again and I felt like punching his face
So?? If she likes him… Is that what he is so happy about? Is this what he wanted to say to me? That Bella likes him! What nonsense!!
He smirked again
“I know you like her, yeah… I know but… Don’t you think you shouldn’t like her? ”
“Why? “I snapped getting tensed up by his words
He smirked again for the third time rubbing his nose with the tip of his finger
“I don’t know why but I feel like I love her now”
My heart trembled in shock, this is bad! Bella will definitely go to him
I smirked too trying to hide my anxiety
“Good then, at least she would cry no more cuz you don’t love her”I said with a feigned smile
He scoffed this time
“Don’t smile, it will hurt so much if you smile like that
You know, Bella wants to stop loving me but she won’t anymore cuz I’m gonna come for her”he rattled
Why is he telling me all this now? So that I would fly? Cry or even hit him?
“That’s better, can I go now?”
He grabbed my arm as I made to leave
“No, one more thing that I have to say
Don’t spoil her, she’s such a good kind girl
Don’t take her to parties anymore like you were her boyfriend
I was so jealous last night”
Those words pissed me off the more, all his words directed to Bella as a cheap type and it made me more angry
