Chloe’s POV
I had no place to go to when I left the house and it was too late to go to Zayn’s house or maybe I wanted to go to hers
Seeing her will ease off my bad mood and make me feel good again
I smirked reading her expression when I said that I wanted to sleep beside her
“Uhm… Chloe why? “She asked nervously
“I get it, you don’t want me in your house? ”
She shook her head
“No! Its just that my mom may not like a guy… ”
Oh… I mouthed my mood went down immediately
“Come let’s go in then”she said after three minutes and my face lit up again
“Huh.. ”
She held out her hand for me to hold it
I held it and we came into the house, she locked the gate and then took a glance at me
I felt shy cuz she caught me staring at her again
“Why are you always staring at me? “She asked me and I chuckled
“Because you’re too pretty! ”
She giggled
“Why are you so pretty? “I asked and her face turned red
“Stop it! “She teased as we reached the door
“Why are you so pretty huh? ”
She pressed her first finger accross my lips
“Shush! You talk too much”she whispered and I smirked holding that finger she pressed to my lips and kissing it all over
“Stop Chloe, are you crazy? “She asked playfully struggling to let go off her finger from my grip
“I’m crazy, don’t you know? “I asked her grabbing her waist pushing her closer to my body
She stared into my eyes
“You’ve really gone nuts”she mumbled and I lowered my chin down to kiss her when someone opened the door
I disengaged from her
It was a guy who opened the door and I guessed it might be her brother
He seized me with his eyes and then turned his gaze to Bella
“Who is this? Why is he holding you? “He asked pointing at me
“Hey Brad behave! “She cautioned as we all got in to the room
I met her mom in the room
“Good evening Ma’am”I greeted and she began to stare at me
Bella came forward almost immediately
“Mom this is Chloe my boyfriend… ”
“Boyfriend!!! “that guy whom Bella called Brad cried out his gaze meeting mine again as he rolled his eyes at me
“Yes Brad”Bella continued before turning to me
“Chloe, meet my mom and kid bro called Brad”I nodded genuflecting a bit to greet her mom properly
For no reason, I felt nervous, I had never been in a girl’s house and faced with gazes upon gazes on me alone
“Come here son”her mom beckoned to me and I nervously looked at Bella who gave me a *go-ahead*kinda nod
I went close to her and bent down infront of her since she was sitting down
She patted my back
“You’re handsome”she admired and I felt flattered
“Mom! Aren’t you gonna send him away? “Brad asked seizing me with an angry look once more
He doesn’t like me, it was in his eyes
Bella went to him closing his mouth with her palms
He struggled to speak but wouldn’t cuz Bella still held him from doing so
It was fun watching them,is that how having a sibling is like?

Bella’s POV
“Just stop talking huh! “I struggled to keep up with the grip I had on him but he kept struggling till he got out of my hold
“Hey! Bella! my lips is in flames “he half yelled and I rolled my tongue at him with my two palms on my head wriggling and mocking him
He got more pissed off that he began chasing after me
“Hey Bella!! “He kept yelling as we ran about the parlor till I ran to Chloe’s back for protection
He stood infront of Chloe
He scoffed
”I just hate your face”he scoffed again after he said that trying to reach out to me but Chloe blocked him
“Ta-da don’t touch her”Chloe said to him as he blocked every of his move to get to me
“Hey! Get out of my way! You are just so annoying! “He grumbled giving up on catching me
He bit hard on his lips before he left for his room, I sighed

He giggled, soon my mom left for her room
“Good night mom”I wished her as she climbed the stairs to her room but then suddenly stopped

He nodded his head

“And your family?… I mean your mom isn’t gonna say anything about it? ”
“My mom isn’t leaving with my father “he cut in calmly
“Oh… I’m sorry, what about your dad? Isn’t he gonna be needing you right now? “She asked again and I felt like my mom was going beyond the boundary
I intervened
“Mom, that’s enough! “Chloe held my hand and whispered
“I’m okay ”
I sighed
“My dad… He threw me out”
What! He didn’t tell me that! He told me that he missed me that’s all and I foolishly believed him too
I frowned at him and he knew that i wasn’t happy with him cuz he noticed the sudden change of expression on my face
“Oh so sorry, why would he…. ”
“Mom its family issues “I came to his rescue
I noticed the sudden pensive mood on his face
Mom gave up asking but didn’t leave until she threw an important glare at the both of us
“Be careful! When you feel sleepy, Bella will take you to Brad’s room…. You will spend the night over there
Okay?? “She instructed eyeing us still
She left and I heaved a sigh of relief
Sometimes, my mom is just too strict to deal with
“So why did you lie to me? “I asked frowning
“I didn’t want to talk about it… ”
“You made me believe that you came here cuz you missed me? “I snapped angrily and he kept mute for a while examining my face as if I heard something on it

“I didn’t lie, I was just too angry… I missed you otherwise I would’ve gone over to my friend’s house Zayn”he explained and I didn’t help getting convinced by that
Silence reigned between us for a while until he spoke up again
“You know, growing up alone with out mom or sibling like your brother… ”
We giggled at the mention of my brother’s name before he continued
“Its hard, dad always on trips, mom who doesn’t care… And me… “He sighed
“But everything got worse since Nicc and his mom came into the house… “He stopped talking thinking I might get angry at the mention of Nicc but I didn’t

I had stopped watching moons and stars right from the day I noticed a strange change on the star and moon days back

We set out of the house and stopped infront of our balcony watching the glittering night with beautiful stars surrounding the sky
The moon had become faint, it was ready to go so it would be able to appear next month which was still few days away

He sighed his gaze to the sky, I followed his gaze too

“Can you spot a faint object inside that moon?… Like something was drawn inside that moon? “He described and I traced my gaze to what he was describing

“I see it”I replied when I detected what he was describing
He smirked winking at me

My eyes stared on watching and listening to his keen explanation
Yeah! Mom was right! There’s a huge difference between a childhood love and a second love
To me, Nicc is a star near a moon while Chloe is inside the moon…which means he will never leave the moon while the star will always leave
For the first time since I knew Chloe, my heart fluttered for him
He smiled at me wildly and my heart pounded greatly…
