I bashed my lashes to prevent looking sad

then i smiled…maybe i over passed my boundaries,next time i will not fall in love with someone that is too perfect to be mine.

lotanna finally realized am not good enough for him.I feel so pained but after all he went for his class.

“your hold on my hair is too tight”
Akuna said.
“but I didn’t even hold it tight”I replied
she sat well like the world is hers,

she smiled for no reason and ordered me to bring her phone which is just beside her.

I got her phone for her and continued with her hair,
then she picked a call.
“Xara will you come?”I heard her say
“okay,am on my way”I heard again.

soon I was done with her hair,
it was so pretty.
then she took the mirror.

that was when i got more confused,

she dressed soo exposed like this alone with him in his room…
I felt more pained,
I know they are dating now,
this visit can’t be ordinary.

I left and went back to my room,
the girls came to my side,they have been waiting for me since I promised to buy them cloths for tomorrow’s party where the crowned prince will choose his queen..

“I think am sick….I won’t be able to follow you guys to the market again” I said and dried my tears as I rush to where my belongings was..

I brought out the money i collected from “mama D” another place where I save…

“dumebi just share the money among others,this should be enough”I said.
she took the money happily.
“thanks Ife but should we get for you?”Vicky asked.
“nothing…I don’t want” I said.

“but you already give out all your new clothes,don’t tell me you’re wearing old clothes tomorrow”Rhoda,the youngest said.

“am not attending”I said.
“but why??????they all shouted.
“I just said am sick”I replied.
“but you need to attend…we all know you’re now the prettiest, we want you to dress well and disappoint Akuna for us” ebere said.
when I didn’t answer them,
they left..

I dried my tears with the back of my palms..
am I not being stupid with tears?.

Am confused like mad but I don’t want to over think

the cab I took stopped at zubi kingdom.
now where is Xara.
I checked my phone and saw the address,she sent it already.
the cab man took me there,
it was Xara’s resting place.

I met Xara waiting for me outside in a short black polo which was as low as her h¡ps.
“finally” she breathed out as i came out of the cab.
I followed her in.

“why didn’t you bring your car?”
she asked.
“for some reasons”I said.
“now,are you sure about tomorrow?” she asked.

“Lotanna didn’t speak to me ..
am only forcing myself on him and he only allowed me in his suite because his mother spoke to him..
he had no choice than to allow me in,
he always obey his mother..
buy I don’t think he fell plus he knows Ife performed the sacrifice for him”I said.

“Chai…tomorrow might be a bad day for you Akuna,
Lotanna always obey his mother does not mean he will choose you as his queen…”Xara said.

soon,someone knocked.
“our guest”Xara whispered and went for the door.

this woman is a pretty one,

now,I can see where Ife got her curvy shape from… her mother is a shot and of course a big hit.

I looked at Xara.

“but your daughter isn’t here,she’s in Jeariah kingdom, she stays with Onome her step mother,
Chief Kelechi her dad and Olamma her step sister” I said but I lied with the name if the kingdom.
I just wanted her far away.

she then left with the guard’s.

she came back one hour later and gave me a high five.

“aku I just checked,they headed towards the south…Jeeriah kingdom” she said.
I smiled and she opened the nylon, it was filled with money.

I didn’t meet ngozi at the market, so I went to her house where I met her.

She took me to another dress store entirely,only royalities buys clothes here….did we miss road.

“come in and stop shouting” she said
I entered.
We were given chairs to sit,
I was starting to get confused,even when i have the money i don’t always come here.

I sat,Ngozi stood up and started selecting expensive dress.
“ngozi are you sure you want to buy or you want to use them to play…
if you know you want to use them play you better let’s get out”I said.
she smiled.

“you’re smiling…do you think this place is like old nana’s place!I asked.
“Am picking that one” she pointed to something more unique,
the exact cloth I saw Akuna bragging about buying..

is ngozi joking or what.
“where did you get money?”I whispered…
she still smiled.
“are you sure you want to buy,they don’t always play trick here”I whispered again..

“Excuse me madam, who is wearing?”the woman in charge asked
“her??”ngozi pointed at me.

the woman got confused..
“how am I sure you really want to buy”the woman said.
ngozi shocked me by bringing out a huge coin bag.
The woman smiled…she took my hand and dragged me in.

“Tiara!!! Tiara!!! Tiara!!! bring a chair, we have a special customer” the woman shouted.
“yes mama,am coming” I heard a girl.
“am sorry dear”this woman almost knelt down for me all because of money..
A little girl came in with a pretty clean chair she even helped me sit down.

“Which one first?”she asked..
I got so confused.
Ngozi came in smiling,I glared at her and followed the woman to the dressing section.
she won’t stop smiling.

“all the clothes suite you,so which one are you taking?”she asked.
“everything”ngozi chirped in..
the woman didn’t wait,she packed everything and in watch in amusement as ngozi paid,
she even got change..

It doesn’t even look like the money in her hand reduced at all.
“my lady what about you,are you not buying?you only bought for your pretty friend! she said.
“no,the money is her’s not mine”
ngozi said..

ohh good lord am confused.
I followed ngozi out.
“where did you get money,just tell me now or—
“I will tell you once you plait your hair”she said and entered a saloon.

is this girl kidding? I followed her in.
she met with the stylist,
the stylist was making Akuna’s hair.
I don’t know what she told the stylist, the stylist left Akuna’s hair and came to me…
someone else took over Akuna’s hair.

Akuna looked at me,I looked away.
“madam sorry, but I can’t let go of this opportunity”the stylist said to Akuna..
what does she mean by her words!

am not even concerned about that, I want to know where Ngozi get money from!!
The hair took soo long,
night came,she still wasn’t done.

finally,I stood up…

I don’t even know what to answer first..as I turned to ngozi.

I said..

“I would like to introduce you to Davic and Dreg Fashion,you can become a millionaire overnight….”
she started.
“what does that mean?”I asked.
“like using your beauty to advertise product for people in the city and abroad,trust me the pay is good” she said and handed me a card.
“call me if you’ve had a rethink” she said..
I nodded like I understand what she said ..you see it’s good to be educated.

I followed Ngozi out,
I was very curious.
“now can you tell me about the money”I asked.

we approached her house.
“fine,I will tell you who gave me the money once you clock 100years old” she said and ran into her house.

I stayed outside knocking,
this girl already locked the door.
“Adeife go,I can’t tell you who gave me the money” she said..
I sighed and left for the palace.

The front gate was guarded with so much guards…I will get quiried for coming in so late,so I went to the back door where I knocked.

someone opened,
I turned…it was lotanna.
our eyes ran into each other he stared at me like in movies,I quickly look away and closed the door quietly.
did he stay there waiting for me?
aaah noo,it can’t be.

“Ifeeee”he called with so much care
he wanted to touch me,I shift back.
I don’t know what happened,I ran away….
