Drake’s POV▪▪
I was so shocked when i heard her said that, confronting her at this point is useless and wasting even a second can put Bianca’s life in danger i need to save her. Thank goodness i know where she lives maybe i should just follow the exact address i know. I quickly rushed to the parking lot outside without informing anyone, i get into the car and quickly drive with full speed, i picked my phone and dialed Bianca’s number..

Bianca’s POV▪▪
It’s look so great and I felt so good being in such an expensive car with a chauffeur driving me. omg! i feel like a princess Mrs. Harriet is such a good woman at least i don’t have to board any cab tonight. I was still enjoying the drive when i heard a ringing from my phone, i was surprise to know Drake was the caller.
📞 “hi,” i said into the phone.
📞”Bianca.. where the heck are you now,” i heard his voice, it was so tensed.
📞 “am on my way home, Mrs. Harriet ask her chauffeur to drive me home in one of her cars,” i answered.
📞 “okay.. just ask the driver to stopped where you are, am coming right away,” he said.
📞 “huh,” i glance at my phone and it was 8:20pm already, i need to get home as soon as possible and why will i ask the driver to stopped.
📞 “drake am sorry but can you just say whatever you want to say on phone,”
📞”just do as i said and text me the exact address of where you are, am on my way,” he said and before i could say any other thing the call got disconnected. What did he meant by that..
“uhmmm.. sir,” i called getting the attention of the chauffeur.
“theirs a problem ma’am,” he quickly said looking so tensed.
“someone is following us,” he said while my heart skip a bit.
“i thought it was just a normal car but then i realize the car was following us from behind and if am not fast it might catch up with us,” he said while i quickly looked behind and saw the red car behind us, it has a tinted glass and i couldn’t see anyone. I quickly called Drake on phone.
📞”drake… someone is following us,” i said, my voice was cracking already, i felt so scared, if anything bad should happen to me mom will be so angry because i lied to them and this might be my punishment for lying.
📞 “what… where exactly are you? he asked. I quickly looked through the window and my eyes caught a signboard of a coffee shop and i told him.
📞”the driver is already speeding off,”
📞 “what color of the car is following you,”
📞 “it’s red..” i yelled when i felt the car stopped, followed by a gunshot, i realize the driver was shot and the quickly open the door
“Bianca! Bianca,” i heard drake voice in the phone but my hand was shaking, i couldn’t do or say anything, i might not escape death this time.
“let be fast with this,” i heard a husky voice said…. am so dead today!!!…

Drake’s POV▪▪
I was shocked when i heard the gunshot and Bianca wasn’t saying anything. I quickly speed off and in just a few minutes i was already there. The street was quiet, i sighted a red car which was parked, i could her Bianca’s cries from the limousine which i assume to be the car she was in,side. I quickly rushed out from my car and ran to them, i open the car and saw two men who were trying to force themselves on her, i quickly hit the other man and we start throwing punches at each other, the other guy let go of Bianca and quickly join in the fight.
“you’re just wasting your time,” the other man said.
“just let her be, the cops are on their way already,” i smirked but the next thing i heard was a gunshot. The bullet penetrated through my left arm and it hurts like hell!
“let go Roger,” one of the man said and they hurried to their car driving with full speed. I gro-n as i held my arm which was gushing out blood.
“Drake.. Drake,” Bianca yelled, she stood up in tears and held me. Her dress was torn from the upper side exposing her b-ra but she seems to care less about that as she held me.
“did they hurt you.. what did they did to you? i stuttered
“i need to take you to the hospital drake, you’re losing so much blood,” she cried.
“please get me my jacket from my car,” i enthused.
“i need to call your dad right away,” she quickly picked her phone but was looking so confused.
“just get me my jacket, i have something to give you in there,” i insisted while she ran to where my car was parked. I gro-n as i held my wounded arm, am losing so much blood already, i pulled out my phone from my trouser pocket with my right hand and called dad immediately.

“.. here is the jacket,” Bianca quickly hand it over to me.
“no.. it’s for you, just put it on to cover yourself,” i said weakly, my vision was blur already and i felt my head spinning..
“Drake.. i heard her cries before i passed out.

Bianca’s POV▪▪
I sat down at the waiting area and sob silently, it’s 10pm already and mom has been calling me but i couldn’t pick any of her calls, all am worried about is drake, i hope he’s safe.
“Bianca! i heard a familiar voice called and raise my head to see Annie who just walked in looking so angry.
“what the heck did you do to Drake,” she yelled at me while i stood up facing her.
“he was shoot by two men who tried to raped me, we were attacked on my way back home,”
“and why the heck are you putting on his jacket? she asked.
“he gave it to me, this not the time to get jealous Annie, Drake was only trying to save me,” i said.
“i don’t care and if anything bad should happen to him you’ll pay for it bitch,” she yelled.
“i knew you were always a bad luck, you shouldn’t have come to my birthday because you ruined it, you ruined everything,” she yelled before walking away.
I sigh not knowing what to say am scared Dr. Nigel might be angry with me, they might blame me for this but how did drake even know i was going to be attacked.
“Bianca,” Mrs. Harriet called, walking closer to where i was standing.
“what happen? she asked looking so sad.
“i just got a call from Gina saying they were at the hospital with Drake,”
“i was attacked and drake tried to save me but was shoot. Some men followed us and i almost got raped but drake was fast enough to help me out but it seems he was the one who got hurt including me. Annie is right am just a bad luck maybe i shouldn’t have come to the party,” i said trying to hold back my tears.
“it okay Bianca,” she pulled me into a hug.
“we will get to the root of this case, it might be the same people who tried to kill you and i guess it’s high time we involved the cops in this,” she enthused while i was shocked! does she mean Gary is behind this, but i don’t think so.
“what really happen? Mrs. Gina asked moving closer to us.
“am really sorry ma’am but to be honest i don’t even know how Drake knew i was going to be attacked but he saved me from those men who were trying to raped me but he ended up getting shot,” i explained
“how is he doing now? Mrs. Harriet asked her.
“Nigel has already operated on him, the bullet was removed and was handed to the cops to trace where the it came from,” she said.
“Drake is a strong man, am sure he’ll gonna pass through this” Mrs. Harriet said
“i hope so,”
“Bianca.. it late already and it dangerous to drive you home maybe you can spend the night at my place,” Mrs. Harriet said and i was surprise to hear that from her. Annie is already mad at me how can i sleep under the same roof with her and beside my parents will be so worried.
“i will wish that too but i need to go home by all means, my parents will be so worried. Am sorry for being such a big burden for you today maybe i shouldn’t have come,” i said sadly.
“don’t blame yourself Bianca, whoever did that to my son will pay irrespective of who they are,” Mrs. Gina said.
“but Bianca.. it so dangerous out there,” Mrs. Harriet enthused.
” i will just board a cab back home am sure nothing will happen,” i said even thou i was scared those men might still come back for me but on a second thinking how would mom and dad react if they see my dress torn and am wearing this jacket, they’ll be so worried.
“okay.. i will come with you,” i found myself saying that to Mrs. Harriet.

✨We arrived to their mansion- i, Mrs. Harriet and Annie who was quiet through out the wh0le drive, seems she still angry with me.
“but mom what if those men follow us here just to get Bianca again, we might implicate ourselves by letting her sleep here tonight- she seems like a criminal,” Annie spoke with so much anger.
“Annie,”
“yes mom! then why will she be chased by those men, it seems Bianca is hiding so many things from us,” she said then climb the stairs to her room.
“am sorry Bianca,” Mrs. Harriet sigh.
“the maid to show your room, i know you must be so tired just have a warm bath, i will send you some clothes and meet me at the dining so we could have dinner together,” she said while i nodded.

▪▪ After some few minutes, i went downstairs and meet Mrs. Harriet at the dining table, she was already in her night-robe looking all tired.
“where Annie? i asked.
“she must be so tired, she said she’s not hungry,” she said perfunctorily while i sat down next to her and stare at the varieties on the table.
“you can eat as much as you want,” she smile then dish out some food on my plate.
“thanks a lot ma’am,” i smile,.
“i sometimes wonder why you are this kind to me,” i said.
“is it a crime to be kind to someone? she asked.
“of course not,”
“well sometimes its a crime because you might end up getting hurt, anyway enjoy your meal,” she shrugged. I quietly eat from my plate.
“aren’t you eating? i asked.
“no.. i enjoying watching you eat,” she smile, she looks more beautiful when she smile.
“am sorry to have cause a lot of troubles i know Annie refuse to come down for dinner because of me, if i wasn’t here then Annie could have been the one here with you, laughing and talking to her mother,” i sigh sadly.
“don’t feel bad about anything, Annie choose to do that to herself,”

I didn’t have much appetite and after eating a little, i retired back to my room and had a sleepless night thinking about Drake, it seems like he’s the only person on my mind.

The next morning, i was dressed in a pretty dress Mrs. Harriet gave me. We were all ready to visit Drake at the hospital and from there i will go back home, i hope mom and dad won’t get mad because i called them yesterday and told them i was at the hospital with Drake.

I and Mrs. Harriet arrived to the hospital, Annie might be on her way. It seems like she’s avoiding me, she intentionally stayed back so we won’t go to the hospital together.

“Drake,” i smile when i open the door to his room at the hospital.
“thank goodness you’re alive,” i sat down on a chair beside him.
“am stronger than you think Bianca, am doing just fine,” he smile.
“thank you for saving me yesterday but you shouldn’t have risk your own life, i was scared and i won’t be able to forgive myself if anything worse should have happen to you,” i sigh.
“if i was death that night, then it’s better to die a hero than die a coward. At least i was able to save you,” he said.
“Bianca,” he called. Then reach out his right hand to mine, our eyes were locked as we stare at each other.
“were you hurt yesterday, did those guys in anyway rape you? he asked looking so concerned. I have never seen this soft side of him and i felt so happy knowing he cares a lot for me now.
” no they didn’t, you came on time and save me and that what makes you my hero now. Am so grateful for that Drake, thank you so much,” i smile.
” i did what i had to,” he said.
“but seems like you already know i was going to be attacked, why didn’t you call the cops or why didn’t you come with someone,” i asked.
“i don’t want to involved the police in that,” he sigh.
“but you should have. Am sorry for this, am sorry for been a burden to all of you,” i said feeling so bad about what happen, somehow i blamed myself for everything, it’s all because of me he’s hurt.
“Drake,” Annie called and i quickly release Drake hand from mine and turn to the door to see Annie standing there.
“can you excuse us,” she said while i nodded.
“take care,”” i whisper to him before walking out.

Drake’s POV▪▪
I sigh when Bianca left, Annie walked closer and i felt so sad knowing she’s the person behind all this.
“how are you doing now? she asked
“am in so much pains all because of you Annie, how dare you try to ruined that innocent girl life?
“and what the heck are you talking about? she half yelled.
“you planned all that yesterday, i overheard your conversation on phone and that’s the reason why i rushed to save Bianca,” i yelled and she looked so shocked.
“you’re gradually becoming evil all because of your so-called hatred for the innocent girl. Bianca is still yet to recover from what happen to her and now you want those men to rape her, to add to her pains so you could laugh at her! what type of woman are you, if you truly love me as you said you wouldn’t be doing this to that poor girl,”
“okay… seems you know too much already, am sorry Drake, i was just angry. I feel so insecure, i just felt Bianca is gradually taking you away from me and same thing with my mom, mom is beginning to like that girl even more than me,”
“that’s what you think but that’s not the reality. I love you Annie and that’s the reason why i didn’t involved the cops in this, i don’t want this case to get complicated but one thing i can’t do is to support your evil act and if you want me to forgive you for this then you have to apologize to Bianca,” i said.
“you see, that’s my point. You only care about Bianca, you don’t even care about my own feelings. You’re too selfish Drake and i think it over between us because nothing fruitful is coming out from this goddamn relationsh¡p,” she yelled and i felt so pains in my heart. I love Annie and i was hoping she will change for the good but seems like things are just getting worse each day.
“fine.. if that’s what you want,” i said almost in a whisper trying to hold back my tears. Annie just broke me completely, am the one suffering for her mistakes and now all she can do is to break up with me. I love her so much and i guess the reason why i tolerated her behavior all these while was because i was scared to lose her and that’s because i still loved her despite everything..💔😥
“i guess am done with you,” she said and i could tell she was trying to fight back her tears too, she was about opening the door when she bumped into her mother- Mrs. Harriet.
“you’re responsible for what happen to Bianca? her mom asked in shocked….

Harriet was so furious as she asked Annie the same question again.
“no mom,” Annie answered back then quickly rushed out in tears.
“what was that for? she asked Drake getting closer to him.
“am not dumb Drake so please tell me everything you know. Is Annie involved in what happen to Bianca? she asked.
“no” he shook his head.
“she’s my daughter Drake so tell me the wh0le truth, i need to know. Don’t stood so low to support evil you’re the only one hurt here,” she said angrily.
“okay, if you insist then i have no choice but to tell you the truth. It’s actually Annie she planned to have Bianca raped i overheard her conversation on phone and was fast enough to save her,”
After hearing that Harriet didn’t say anything she quickly left and that makes Drake wonder what she have in mind..

Bianca’s POV💫
“what! you slept there but why? Yen asked into the phone, i was already at the door when a call came in.
“your mother came to my house yesterday and realize their wasn’t any party she was so angry that you lied to her,”
“it’s not my fault Yen, anyway i will make her understand,” i sigh cutting off the call. I open the door and walked in- the first person i saw was mom.
“Bianca,” she called while i stood on the same s₱0t not knowing what to say.
“where are you coming from? she asked.
“from the hospital mom. Am sorry for lying to you i just went to see Dr. Nigel and his family but something came up and Drake was rushed to the hospital..
“then why did you have to lie to us, you should have come out clean and tell us you want to visit that family. Ever since you came back from that house your attitude was totally off from the Bianca i use to know. What did they done to you that you couldn’t think normal again,” she yelled.
“am sorry mom, i didn’t mean to get you upset or get so worried about me,” i pleaded.
“i think the only way to end this is to leave. Get your things ready because we are leaving first thing tomorrow morning,” she said and with that she walked away while i sigh. I sat on the couch and stare into space, my vison was getting blur due to the tears threatening to come out. Thinking about my life and everything it’s seems so complicated to me.
Why can’t mom forget about travelling out, someone is already willing to sponsor me in a good school but I guess am missing that opportunity because of mom.
“Bianca,” dad called as he gently walked in,side using his stick.
“Were have you been dad? you haven’t even recovered fully but you keep stressing yourself,”
“I just stroll out Bianca, by the way where have you been yesterday? He asked.
” I know you must be so worried dad, am sorry,”
“Mom was really mad and she said we are leaving first thing morning,” I said but he just shrugged.
“But dad is there anything i need to know,”
“Sometimes things are better left unsaid,” he said.
“What did you mean dad?
“You ask too many questions Bianca, anyway have you even eaten first..?

“Yen just help me fold those clothes and stop being a talkative,” I said arranging my few books in the box. Today was so hectic because i helped mom and dad did their laundry, mom later came home and prepared our favorite meal she said I should get my things ready so I won’t have to delayed us tomorrow. Am glad Yen also came to helped me out.
“So Bianca are you happy you’re leaving? She asked.
“I don’t have any choice Yen. Mom want us to leave as soon as possible I somehow feel she’s hiding something but dad said somethings are better left unsaid,”
“Well maybe it for the best,”
“I don’t think so Yen, anyway I think I should at least let Mrs. Harriet know about this and also Drake,”
“Awwww the handsome dude that save you right, I should have follow you to the party yesterday so I would get to see those people that really care for you,”

Harriet’s POV😥
After what Drake told me I headed straight to work, even thou i wouldn’t concentrate I just want to waste the wh0le day there before going home in the night. I felt so angry, I don’t know what else to do to change Annie, she just broke my trust for her, I feel so disappointed.
Later in the evening I went back home trying to forget everything.. Annie want to ruin my reputation.

I dropped my bag on the cushion and went to check on Annie in her room but I meet her sobbing.
“Mom! She called, her gaze was on me but she look so sad.
“Am sorry mom,” she whimpered and quickly stood up to hug me but I stopped her half way and landed a hot slap on her face.
“Mom” she cried.
“So it’s true, you actually plan to have Bianca raped? I asked so furious.
“Am sorry,”
“Just answer my question, I will only believe that if you tell me the wh0le truth,”
“Yes mom but am really sorry,” she cried.
“When have you become this heartless Annie, I thought you were okay with Bianca coming to your birthday. Why on earth will you do that to her, having your fellow woman raped all because of your so called jealousy,”
“You were giving her more attention than me mom, Drake also seems to like her and i thought i will be at the losing end if Bianca should become your Favorite,”
“By having her raped? I loved you Annie, I gave you everything you’ve ever needed, despite how busy I am I still create a little time for us to bond so well as mother and daughter should and that was the reason we even went on vacation when you were done with high school, I gave you everything! I said trying to hold back my tears too.
“And now your boyfriend is the one suffering from it, what if those men killed him yesterday. I guess it a good thing you even broke up because I don’t think anyone would love a monster like you. If this wh0le news should go viral my reputation will be ruined,” I yelled then walked out of her room.
I rushed to my room and cried out my pains. Everyone left! if only Williams is here I never knew raising a teenager wasn’t this easy. I used to think Annie is a Blessing to me but now that she’s misbehaving it better I send her back to Manitoba…

Drake’s POV▪▪
I felt so bad knowing this wh0le thing will gonna cos a big rift between her and her mother, I wish Mrs. Harriet didn’t know about any of these.
“Does it still hurt son? Mom asked, she was seated on a chair beside me while dad was standing.
“Do you have any idea of who might be behind this? Can you recognize those men that shot you? Dad asked.
“No dad. You should be focus on how I will get better instead of wasting your time on this case. Bianca is doing fine and am still alive so theirs no point in involving the cops.
“We have to Drake, those scoundrels might still come for you or Bianca am. We need to know who our enemy are,” mom insisted while I sigh. How can I tell them Annie is behind all this.. what will they even think of her..
Immediately my phone rang and I pick it on the table beside me, I smile when I realized the caller was Bianca.
. 📞”How are you doing my hero,” I heard her tiny voice followed by her laughed.
📞 “Hey,” I smile
📞 “Hope you’ve arrived home safe and hope your parents aren’t so mad at you?
📞” no.. I just call to check on you. How are you feeling now? does your arm still hurt? She asked.
📞 “Sure, it hurts like hell I think i need a m-ssage to feel better,” I pout
📞 “Like seriously a m-ssage! Am very sure Annie is right there with you she can help out since you’re her boyfriend,” Hearing Annie name brought more sadness to my heart.
📞”Annie and i broke up,” I said
“You broke up with Annie? Mom gasped looking surprised.
📞”What! Why will you do that to her? Bianca asked.
📞”I didn’t do anything, she did that herself. And now left with a broken arm to nurse and also a broken heart,” I said sadly.
📞”Am really sorry Drake.. I hope it not because of me?
“Of course not,”
📞”I wish I could help in anywhere. Thanks a lot Drake I guess the main reason I called is to say bye to you because am leaving,” she said..
📞”Leaving… to where? I asked surprised to hear that.
📞”I and my family are leaving the city first thing tomorrow morning. So please Drake take care …”
📞”But why? Why are you leaving? I quickly asked but the line got disconnected already…
“What the heck happen between you and Annie? Mom asked immediately, I almost ask forgot they still here with me…

Bianca’s POV💖
I quickly disconnect the call to avoid any questions from Drake. I felt so sad about this wh0le thing but I can’t do anything about it. Drake must be so heartbroken why will Annie suddenly broke up with him, I thought she loved him and was ready to fight anyone just to keep her man. I know how he must have felt…losing someone you’re still in love with. Well Annie might still consider him sooner..
I stood up from the bed and stretched my body, I need to take a shower and sleep so early today so I can be ready for tomorrow’s journey. Suddenly I heard mom and dad loud voices from the parlor, they seems to be arguing and I wonder what it could be.. I quickly walked out but stopped at the door to eavesdropped on their conversation.
“No one can stop me from keeping my family together not even you Jones,” I heard mom’s voice.
“Then at least tell the poor girl the wh0le truth and stop making it complicated. You were the cause of all this starting from the beginning you just have to finish what you started. Ellen you don’t have to run away from your troubles but instead you should face them, try to use your sense for once,” dad seems so angry too as he yelled at her…..
I knew they were hiding something from me… but what could it be???
