“my main problem now is to find this woman, please help me find her Gary,” i pleaded with him.
“who?
“Ellen Larioza,”
“What! What about her? He asked
“I know it will gonna be somehow difficult but just help me find her, am just curious about something,” I sigh
“About what?
“Gary.. you don’t need to know everything and do you think I will trust you to tell you everything about myself,” I smirk
“I thought we are allies since we are against Bianca,”
“against Bianca! you are her ex and you said you still love her..
“I only said I want her back,” he corrected.
“So what’s the difference?
“Let just quit talking about this, am now your friend and don’t be too surprised when I say I like you,”
“Like me! I scoffed.
“Quit saying that! You might be rich and cute but you are nothing compared to my Drake and beside you and I can never be a thing because you were once Bianca’s ex and I don’t roll with such people- people with low class,” I said disgustingly.
“You’re are rude and proud but in can be more than that atimes. Look Annie we are just perfect for each other and i will give you the wh0le world if you’re mine..
“Gosh! Am sure these were the same cheap words you use on Bianca, it’s so irritating and that’s the reason why I will never in my wh0le life allow Bianca to take Drake away from me,” I said and with that I hurriedly left.
“Only me can help you Annie” he yelled from behind but I just ignore.

Bianca’s POV
“Life is a great bundle of little things, a run in not shade with fettered hands that chases pridtoms over shifting sands indeed life has been unfair,” I told Drake. I felt so relief telling him everything now, maybe I can trust him or maybe in just needed someone to talk to, someone who will understand me.
“So what did you think Drake? Aren’t all this connected to Ma’am Harriet? I asked so confused.
“Well I think so but only your parents have the right answers, just try asking them,” he enthused.
” I don’t think mom is ready to tell me anything, and dad I don’t want to bother him for now. Whatever it is I just hope I can forgive them if I get to the find the wh0le truth myself,”
“Of course you have to, they are your parents even thou you’re not related to them. I will help you find the truth about this,” he smile.
I stared at the sky and it was filled with dark clouds, the weather seems so cool but I know it gonna rain anytime soon.
“Everything happen for a reason Bianca, if Annie’s mom haven’t found you and rushed you to dad hospital and dad hasn’t insisted to help you by bringing you to our house then we wouldn’t have meet. Sometimes unpleasant things happen and it hærd to think anything good can comes out from it, so just be thankful for having them as your parents even when you’re not related to them ,” he said calmly as he clasped our hands together. There was a dead silence as i stare at our hand clasped together.
“.. who would have thought the grumpy Drake will be the one saying this to me,” I fake a frown while he laughed.
“Annie was rude and you were rude at the same so I’ve always thought you were just the perfect rude couple,” I smile.
“Well now that am with Miss beauty who’s always kind hearted I guess my life has changed for good when you became my friend and I don’t know why but I feel so attached to you, I want to know you more Bianca..” he said staring at me with those eyes, I was so speechless as I stare back at him. This time the wind was heavy and I quickly stood up.
“It gonna rain anytime soon, i think it’s better you leave,” I said told him..

Annie’s POV
📞” okay I will be at your office tomorrow for the result,” mom said into the phone but she quickly hanged up when she saw me.
This woman can be so secretive atimes, what result is she talking about. Since she’s able to hide about my identity for good eighteen years then it simply means she can hide anything from me again.
“What result were you talking about mom? I asked sitting beside her.
“Oh! It office work,” she smile but I can’t be deceive at least not anymore, whatever she’s hiding I have to force her say that to me.
“Mom have you found that Ellen, the woman you told me about. She might still be alive with your baby, or don’t you want you to know your child? I asked looking so worried.
” I did that a long time ago but Ellen was nowhere to be found but am still searching for her,”
” are you sure about this? Why do I feel like you don’t trust me again to tell me everything, i sometimes feel I should just leave and…
“No Annie. You’re still my daughter and even if Ellen came back with my baby nothing will ever changed my love for you,”
“but mom what will happen if you finally get to know your child? what will happen to me?
“i love you Annie and won’t you be happy having a sibling, i know if my child is still alive she must have grown up now and you’ll at least have someone to talk to,” she smiled while i rolled my eyes.
“i have you mom and that’s enough of me, i don’t need anyone! that reminds me what about your husband?
“i don’t know,” she shrugged, she seems less interested to talk about him while i nodded, my main concern was to get her phone and check the call logs so i will who she was talking to earlier.
“so how was school, I’ve been so busy these days and we hærdly have time for each other. Am so sorry Annie i will try to make it up to you,” she smile while i just nodded.
“mom, can i borrow your phone for a while? i asked
“my phone.. but for what? has your own got stolen?
“no mom,” i laughed seeing how worried she looked.
“okay, Annie,” she hand over the phone and just when am about standing up a call came in from a new number.
“who’s it? she asked while i hand over the phone to her. Gosh! i have to know the last person she talked to..

Drake’s POV
I sat down on my bed thinking about Bianca and how she told me about the wh0le thing. Who are her real parents then and why is her mom insisting they leave. I told her never to agree to such thing until she finds who truly she is. I don’t know why but i just feel the need to help her and i think maybe mom has some answers to this since her and Mrs. Harriet have been friends for a long time now.

I went down to the sitting room and meet mom busy with her phone she was already in her night robe.
“isn’t dad still home yet?
“no,” she sigh
“how are you feeling now Drake, how is your arm? she asked staring at the wound that was still plastered.
“am fine mom, the wound is fast healing,” i smile.
“so have you dismissed the case about the incident that happen during Annie’s birthday? i asked.
“we have no choice Drake, your dad insisted. I hope that Annie won’t ever come close to you,” she half yelled.
“mom.. Annie was sorry for what she did so please don’t try to hate her, i have forgiven her as well,”
“gosh! am just worried about you,”
“i know mom, by the way can i ask you something? i sat down beside her.
“so what is it?
“you’ve been friends with Annie’s mom for a while now, right?
“sure..
“okay mom, do you know anyone name Ellen Larioza and what connection did she have with Mrs. Harriet? perhaps you know something about those two? i asked staring curiously at her.
“Ellen, how did you know that name? she asked looking shocked.
“well.. a friend told me but i just want to know,” i asked.
“who is that friend?
“i don’t know, just quit asking questions mom! i just overheard someone when i went to visit Bianca today,” i said while she looked all worked up.
“Harriet have been searching for her, i need to inform her,” she said. Definitely something is wrong somewhere. Immediately dad walked in and i heaved a sigh of relief seeing him.
“welcome dad,” i gave him a small hug.
“welcome dear,” mom smiled then collect the brief case from him and they climb the stairs. Why is mom looking so tensed. I followed them and was about knocking on their door to ask mom more questions but i stopped when i heard them talking about it.
“Nigel, Ellen Larioza might be somewhere close to us, at least she have to pay for what she did- even if the baby is longer with her,” mom said so worried.
“what! how did you know that? dad asked sounding surprise.
“Drake just mention her name to me,”
“how did he know that? dad asked.
“i don’t know,”
“Harriet has already found Ellen but first thing first she want to know if her baby is still alive and i guess it’s Bianca, she was in my office yesterday and she wanted me to carried out a DNA test on her and Bianca. I just got a report form the lab that the result were ready and will be given to her tomorrow,”
I was shocked hearing that from them, what did they mean about Bianca being the real daughter of Mrs. Harriet, does that means Bianca and Annie are sisters??

I was so worried as i walked to my room still trying to digest what i heard, i wanted to call Bianca and tell her everything right away but i stopped myself, i have to be sure of what i heard and how true is that? I was still lost in my thoughts when a call came in, at first i thought it was Bianca but i got disappointed when i saw Annie.
📞”hi,” i said into the phone.
📞 “Drake… Drake…” she whimpered
📞”Annie.. what’s happening? i asked, seems like she’s crying.
📞”i just need someone to talk to, please Drake,” she pleaded.
📞 “we are still friends Annie, you can tell me anything,”
📞 “please this should be between us for now,” she pleaded.
📞 “okay, what is it,”
📞”i just recently found out that am adopted, am adopted Drake and that means i have no one, no one at all,” she cried.
📞 “adopted? i asked again.
📞 “you’ve heard me right, please Drake i want us to talk tomorrow…

Harriet’s POV💢
I was surprise to see Williams already at Nigel’s office, i guess they were both waiting for me.
“i thought we’ve talked about this Williams, why can’t you just leave,” i said angrily taking a seat next to him.
“Harriet, you’ve changed so much! i just want to be by your side, i want to support you in this,”
“i have always been the bad guy Williams, yes you once supported me but what did you say to me at the end, you said i was the caused of everything because i was so desperate, well if i wasn’t desperate to have a baby then Bianca might not be here if she turns out to be our child,”
“it’s okay Harriet, Williams have every right to be here. i thought this the time you have to work as one so you’ll get Bianca if she truly happens to be your child,” Nigel said as he removed an envelope from his drawer.
“this is straight from the lab,” he said handing the envelope to Williams but i quickly grabbed it from him, i stood up and walked towards the window feeling so nervous to open it. What if it turns out negative.. and Bianca isn’t my child then Ellen might have done something evil to my baby, my mind were occupied with all kind of thoughts and i felt like scre-ming. I quickly wiped the drop of tears from my eyes and open the envelope slowly even thou my hands were shaking- i have to accept whatever is see here, at least i still have Annie to call my own if Bianca doesn’t turns out to be my baby.
My eyes were glued to the paper as i read it again- it turn out positive- am related to Bianca Larioza, my eyes were filled with tears, i felt this inner joy to know my baby is still alive, she was so close to me but yet so far away. Bianca is my missing baby. I smiled as i stare at Williams, he seems so curious, he quickly stood up and moved close to me.
“what does it says,? he asked while i gave him the paper. Everything came in a flash, i suffered to have this baby, i spent almost everything i have for that surrogacy yet i was still in pains, Loretta has to lose her life, my marriage crumbled, my baby was taken away from me, i have lose a lot of things all because of that IVF but Ellen was the main cause. I recalled how i first saw Bianca in a pool of her blood when i rushed her to Nigel’s hospital, she has been through a lot and it’s all because of Ellen, this time i will make sure i repay Ellen in hundred fold for what she did to me, i will definitely make her feel the pain of losing the only thing that matters most to you…💔

📞”so what are you going to do about it? Gina asked sounding so worried
📞”i will take back my daughter then sue her to court, she have to pay for everything she did,” i said to her.
📞”i can’t believe Bianca of all people turn out to be your daughter Harriet, it was indeed fate that brings you together,”
📞”yes, we’ll talk about this when we meet, i have to go Gina,” i said before disconnecting the call. More tears filled my eyes when i remembered how Annie almost got Bianca raped- what if Drake wasn’t there on time to save her.
“Harriet, i think i want to see Bianca,” Williams said.
“that should be tomorrow, i will talk to my attorney first,”
” we can handle this peacefully…
“that’s what you said when you foolishly took Loretta away from her, if only you listen to me all this wouldn’t have happen. Look Williams now that we’ve found our daughter i know we might see each other often but am sorry to tell you i don’t need you in my life anymore and neither do i want you to contribute to anything am gonna do,” i yelled at him.
“don’t try to act so tough Harriet, i just want us to do the right thing,”
“right thing you said! if you knew what the right thing was then you wouldn’t have leave me as you did years back, you failed in everything Williams and a lot of thing has changed so you should expect more than this from me because am not gonna beg you to come into our lives again, am not gonna beg your for anything and that’s because am done begging people. Am capable of taking care of both Bianca and Annie,”
“look Harriet, i know i messed up big time and am sorry for all I’ve said, i was the cause of everything because of how foolish i acted but i just want to make it up to you, is that so difficult to ask? please Sunshine,” he plead and those last two words really got to me.
“we’ll visit Ellen tomorrow to have our daughter,” he said before leaving. I heaved a sigh of relief as i watch him leave. Why am i finding it difficult to forgive Williams, the Harriet back then would have rush to welcome him without thinking twice but now everything has changed, i felt so worried i don’t know if i still want him back but now that I’ve found my daughter she deserves to have a complete family, she deserves to be happy with us and i don’t want to ruin all this for her. Thinking about Annie i guess i will just find the right time to talk to her and tell her everything, the Bianca she always looked down upon turns out to be my daughter, i hope that wouldn’t cause any trouble, I’ve always want them to be friends, to act like sisters.

Annie’s POV💔

“so that is it Drake, my wh0le life was just a lie,” i told him. I visited him at their house and we both ended up at the sitting by the pool side, i told him all what mom said.
“Am sure your mom still loves you Annie, adopted or not doesn’t really matters if you truly see her as your mom,”
“i know Drake but am just worried because mom told me her baby might still be with that Ellen Larioza, i just want to help mom to find that woman,” i said and i could see the surprised look on his face.
“Ellen?
“you know the woman? i s6ked.
“of course not Annie, i guess you shouldn’t worry about this for now am sure your mom will handle everything,”
my phone immediately rang and the caller was Gary but i just ignored the call.
“aren’t you picking that,” he asked referring to the phone.
“no.. it’s not important,” i smile then took his hand in mine.
“I’ve miss you Drake, i know only you can understand me and that’s the reason i wanted us to talk, it been quiet some time we’ve talked like this,” i said while he just nodded.
“Am sorry for all the pain I’ve caused you, i didn’t mean to break up with you… i still..”
“it’s okay Annie but to be honest with you you’ve make things more easier for me because that’s what i wanted to do, i want to break up with you but you were ahead of me when you did that, i was actually fed up with the relationsh¡p,” he shrugged, hearing those words from him i felt like scre-ming.
“but i still love you Drake..
“we re just friend for now Annie, I’ve moved on and i guess it will be more better if you’ve move on too,” he smile
“okay..” i said almost in a whisper.
“but you like Bianca, don’t you?
“what! Bianca is just a friend,” he rolled his eyes.
“well i don’t know why you’re pretty close to her these days, remember your promise Drake you told me you’ll never find that girl attractive,”
“that was then, anyway let just talk about something else because whenever we seems to talk about Bianca the conversation always led to something else,” he said, i glance at my phone and notice a message just popped in, it’s from Gary, i quickly stood up making sure Drake didn’t see anything.
💌”**why aren’t you picking up my calls, anyway Ellen Larioza is Bianca’s mom,**💌 i was damn shocked as i read the message.
“i have to go now Drake,” i said.
“why? anything wrong? he asked looking at how scared i was when i read the message.

Harriet’s POV💔
We’ve arrived to the place, where i guess Ellen stays. This time i have to let her know am aware of everything and am still not the soft Harriet she knew back then. I was with Williams but i couldn’t help but feel so nervous, am gonna see Bianca this time as my daughter and also that witch.
“can you do this Harriet, are you ready to see her? Williams asked while i nodded, i knocked the door and wait for a response, just as i expected the door was open, i was expecting Bianca but i was surprise to see Ellen, shocked was written all over her face as we both stared at each other, she was about to close the door quickly but i was fast enough to stop it half way pushing her back in the processing, i walked in,side while Williams trailed behind me.
“what are you doing here? she asked in a hoarse voice.
“to take back my daughter,” i smirk.
“what daughter? just leave,” she yelled but first thing i did was to land heavy slap on her cheeks.
“that’s for taking Bianca away from me,” i said angrily.
“and that’s for ruining my marriage,” i slapped her again, i could see the anger in her eyes, she want to slap me back but i held her hand half way.
“Harriet, remember we are here to take Bianca and not to fight her this way,” Williams said.
“i hate you so much Harriet,” she said with so much hatred in her eyes.
“hate me or love me that’s won’t change a thing about me so where’s Bianca,” i asked getting so impatient.
“you were the one who ruined me because you both killed my daughter, you killed Loretta and i will never forgive you for that,”
“forgive! do you think i will also forgive you Ellen? what you did was unforgivable,” i yelled back.
“mom,” Bianca walked in with Mr. Jones and i guess they were both surprise to see me.
“Mrs. Harriet,” she said staring back at me, she looked so tensed and i know she might be wondering how i get to know she lives here.
“Bianca,” i called then rushed and hugged her so tight.
“Bianca… am sorry everything has to turned out this way,” i cooed trying to hold back my tears.
“I’ve found you at last and am still not gonna give up on you my child,” i let out my tears.
“i guess Ellen hasn’t told you anything yet but she have lot of explanation to do,” i said disengaging from the hug.
“Harriet,” Jones called looking surprised as well.
“i told you Ellen all these will soon end one day,” he said to his wife.
“okay.. mom what is happening here? why is Ma’am Harriet calling me ‘her child? Bianca asked looking at Ellen.
“just go to your room Bianca,”
“no mom, i have to know everything, I’ve always wanted you to meet Mrs. Harriet so that you both can tell me what’s going on,” she said.
“Bianca,” Williams called- staring at her, i know this the first time he’s even seeing her.
“i know this wh0le thing will come as surprise but no one intended for this to happen.. we are your…”
“Harriet and Williams are your real parents,” Jones quickly said while Bianca stare at us in shocked.
“i know Ellen kept this from you a long time ago but now the truth has to prevail,” he said and i looked back at Ellen who seems so angry.
“what, were the truly the people that killed Loretta? how did it all happen? how did i ended up with you,” Bianca asked Ellen.
“i will tell you everything now Bianca,” i said and i told her the wh0le story myself. I leave no stone unturn and Jones was surprise to her about the affair part, how Ellen was ready to give up on her marriage just to be with Williams back then.
“you never told me this was the exact thing that happen Ellen? you were cheating on me! he said bitterly.
“and if i was wicked enough back then i would have told you everything Jones, but i kept quiet because i don’t want to destroy someone’s else marriage,’ i told him than turn to Ellen.
“so stop blaming us for what happen to Loretta, if you stick to the plan then non of this would have happen and no one intend to hurt your daughter because it was an accident and Williams almost died too, when are you gonna accept the fact that you did the wrong thing Ellen,” i said so angry at her.
“mom.. is that true.. was that the actual thing that happen? Bianca asked Ellen in tears and i felt so angry to know Bianca was still referring to her as mom. Ellen doesn’t deserves to be a mother.
“Bianca..”
“no mom i just want to know the wh0le truth. First you’ve warned me never to disclose my real identity to them- you said they were the bad people, you accuse them of killing Loretta, and you even insisted we should leave this city but hearing everything from the story ma’am Harriet told me i think you’re the bad guy here,” Bianca said in tears.
“you stole me away from them just because you were the one carrying me,”
“but i love you Bianca, just try to hear me out,” Ellen pleaded with her.
“i just want to know the wh0le truth.. is that the real truth? Bianca sked while Ellen nodded in tears.
“fine! everything she said was the wh0le truth at first i wanted to help them, i wanted to repay that favor she did to me but along the line when i was pregnant with you i discover that i deserve better, i just wanted more, I’ve always dream of having a rich and successful husband, being so famous and living a very luxury life. I though having Williams will make my dream come true, my mind was just clouded with lots of bad things but everything got worse when Williams has to involved my daughter in that, Loretta died and i will never forgive these people,” she said but Bianca quickly rushed to her room in tears, i followed her but found her crying so bad.
“i know it difficult for you, you’re not the only one hurt. We’ll scale through this Bianca, you’re my daughter and i want you back to my life again,” i said calmly as i squat beside her.
“i just want to be alone, i want to be alone, i don’t think this is true,” she cried.
‘but that’s the reality Bianca! you can’t change destiny,” i told her but she quickly stood up and ran out of the house.
‘Bianca! Bianca please come back to me,” i yelled but she was already gone.
“if anything bad should happen to my daughter you’ll pay for it,’ i said to Ellen then hurriedly went outside and stood by the car, i couldn’t stop crying- will Bianca even accept me as her family??
“Harriet..” Williams quickly rushed outside to me.
“we have to go, you need to give the girl some time to think through this,” he said.
“am going nowhere Williams, i will be right here and wait for my daughter,” i said in tears but suddenly i felt a sharp pain in my head and i find myself collapsing to the ground but Williams was fast enough to hold me.
“Harriet! i could her his voice from distance before passing out..💔😥
