I got scared when mum’s husband insisted in involving the cops, i talked to mom about it hoping she will listen to me.
“that’s not the point Annie, we can’t do this on our own, we need the police for back up. We have to report it to them so we could figure out a way together,” mom’s husband insisted.
“mom.. it too dangerous, we can’t let anything happen to Bianca, i don’t want to see you sad again,” i told her.
“i understand you Annie but Williams is right we need the police for back up and we will give them the money just as they demanded,” mom said and i felt a bit relief hearing that from her at least she’s willing to give out the money.
“i will just talk to my secretary to get the 20million cash ready,” she said.
“no Harriet i will handle that myself, i want to help Bianca too” her husband said.
“you’ve done more than enough already, I don’t want to bother anyone again,” mom said.
“okay mom, today will gonna be a long day in school, i might come home late because i have lot of things to attend to,” i told her.
“just take care Annie, i will keep you posted,”
“please mom don’t stress yourself too much too,” i gave her a hug then hurriedly left.

I and Williams headed straight to the police station and just as expected we meet Nigel and his wife.
“Harriet i don’t think you are strong enough to handle all this stress,” Nigel told me.
“no.. am willing to go through anything just to save my daughter as soon as i can,”
“whoever those kidnappers are need to be punish, who on earth has the nerve to do this. I don’t think Drake has any enemies and same thing with Bianca, so why will anyone kidnaped them and how about Annie maybe we should ask her if she knows something about it,” Gina said.
“Annie doesn’t know about any of these.. let just hope wherever those two are i hope they’re safe,”
“but to be honest with you ever since what Annie did to Bianca that night, how she planned to have her raped, i don’t think that girl is to be trusted again,”
“i don’t think Annie will do this to anyone of them, yes i know she don’t like Bianca but Drake- she still loves him despite everything. It’s so pointless talking about this Gina, we shouldn’t blame anyone for now,” i said a little bit pissed but i was so angry when i saw someone at the door- Ellen, how did she even know we are here.
“what are you doing? i quickly walked up to her with a straight face,
“i just want to know what’s happening, Bianca isn’t home yet,” she said.
“how did you know we are here?
“Harriet, just calm down i texted her the address to this place,” Williams said and it took me so much courage not to slap him.
“you texted her for what good reason? i yelled at him.
“when we went to her place yesterday, she requires i keep her posted by giving me her contact, it not what you think Harriet let just focus on how to help our daughter,” he said.
“i don’t need any help from you Ellen, well Bianca has being kidnapped and the kidnappers demand for 20 million as a ransom, now will you be able to help out in that. Even if you worked all day and night you can’t be able to get such money all your lifetime so just leave! i don’t want to see you,” I said in a hoarse voice.
“Bianca is also my daughter and am just concern about her well being,”
“if you were concern about her well being you wouldn’t have taken her away from her real parents,”
“Ellen i guess it better if you just leave for now,’ Williams told her.
“yes Ellen we don’t need your help because you can’t even help in anyway, don’t create a scene here. And after this wh0le thing Bianca will returned back to her real parents,” Gina said.
“let get this done Harriet, officer Phil is waiting for us,” Nigel said while we walked to his office leaving Ellen behind, i hope i will never get to see this woman again!

“so has the kidnappers call again ? officer Phil asked.
‘no but they said they will send us a text of the exact address to drop the money,” Williams told him.
“we have to track them down officer, is not only about giving them the money but also about knowing who those people are,” Gina insisted and i agree with her, i want to know who those people are and why will they have to kidnaped Bianca and Drake!
“i think I’ve got a better solution to this,” he said making me feel a bit relief.

Annie’s POV🎇
I arrived to the school and i told my driver to leave because am gonna stay late in school today, i don’t want him to get suspicious of me. I stood beside my car thinking of what next to do, i have to inform Gary the cops are involved in this and we have to be extra careful, i hope his guys are smart enough not to expose us due to their foolishness’.
“Annie,” Patricia called with a smile then walked up to me.
“you’ve been skipping classes for days now.. is anything wrong?
“i told you my mom is sick and i need to take care of her,”
“and since when have you become a doctor Annie?
“Pat can you just cut it off, i just want to help mom feel better,” i smile.
“okay then, let go to class, we have lectures by 10am,” she said and I quickly glance at my wrist watch and discovered it 9:30am
“okay,” i smile then headed to the class with her.
Patricia can be a talkative atimes and that’s why i didn’t tell her anything about me being adopted and even the kidnapped of Bianca and Drake, she might just make things worse for me. After the first lectures i hurriedly left the school and zoomed off in my car to know what’s happening at the hide out.
I felt so angry with Drake yesterday, somehow i know he was only trying to trick me but someone part of me still believe him because I love him but he only deceived me and worse part is that he beat up Gary am sure Gary’s next plan is to hurt him, we locked both Bianca and Drake but in a separate rooms to avoid any disturbance.
“i have surprise a for you,” Gary said immediately he saw me walked in, i stare at his wounded face, his left eyes is already swollen and his face- gosh! Drake really disfigure his face.
“what surprise? i asked so curiously,”
“just follow me,” he said while i trailed behind him as we walked to the torture room and i was scared wondering what he might have done this time. We walk in and i was shocked by what i saw- Drake! my drake- he was lying unconscious, shirtless and drenched in his blood.
what did you do to him you fool,” i slapped Gary.
“you think i will let him go free after what he did to me, i torture him myself,” he said bluntly as if it something to be proud of.
“Drake was able to beat you up and that’s because you’re not a man enough, you’re just too weak for my liking Gary, it not Drake fault if he beat you so bad yesterday like,” i mocked him.
“is that so! well it’s all your fault because you untie him, how could you use your emotions or whatever thing you have for him to set him free,”
“and that’s because i still love him. Gary by now you should know you’re just my puppet who i can order around so don’t you ever go against my will because this is my game and i will play it the way i want and for that reason you have no right to torture Drake this way, what if he dies,” i yelled back at him and i could see how dark his eyes were, he looked so angry but i didn’t care less about that.
“and this is my territory Annie, this is my mansion, my hide out and the fact that you asked me to kidnapped Bianca and Drake and i did doesn’t mean you’re my boss, i also have a plan for those those two..
“like seriously….. only traitors change side during war, i don’t f-cking care about anything now. All am saying right now is that you’re just so stupid, you’re a fool and a weakling,” i fired back at him while i felt a hærd slap on my cheeks.

“i just did and i will do that again if you dare insult me. You claim to be rich yet am more influential than you, i have the perfect hide out and a good number of men to back me up even when the cops get here, this is my territory and i choose what to do here and mind you i still haven’t finish with Drake because i will make sure i kill him,” he smirk then grip my hand forcefully dragging me alone with him.
“just let go me you fool,” i yelled back at him while he laughed.
“i think you’re getting out of hand but let me just warm you up,” he kept laughing as he successfully dragged me to a room and locked the door.
“what are you doing? i asked, for the first time i felt so scared of him.
“doing what i should have done a long time, go,” he smirk then pulled off his shirt.
“don’t be too stupid Gary, let me go or i will call the police so that both of us will rot in jail,” i threaten.
“go ahead and do that, i have my own ways to escape,” he smile.
“you know what Annie, starting from the first day i saw you i wanted to have you to myself and i thought we both have the same thing in common, i knew we’ll be just the perfect allies for each other and that’s why i was persistence to chase you even when i knew you were dating Drake,”
“i don’t love you and i can never love someone like you, i don’t mingle with weaklings like you,” i yelled back trying to hide my fears.
“so proud, arrogant, rude and stupid well by now you should know Drake will never love you, not now or ever and i don’t f-cking care if you love me or not,” he dragged me back then push me to the bed.
“when am done with you let me see if you can still be so arrogant again,” he smirk.
“you son of a bitch, if you need someone to satisfy your stupid urge why not go to Bianca, she’s locked up in her room right, so go and have your way with here,” i yelled at him as i stood up from the bed.
“And what if i said it’s you i want now,” he pulled me back pushing me to the bed- the reality dawn on me and i knew he wanted to rape me, i have to fight back but he was way too strong, he tie my both hands to the bed.

Bianca’s POV
I kept pacing to and fro in the room i was locked in, i need to get out of here, i need know what they did to Drake, i just hope they didn’t hurt him because he saved me and he doesn’t deserve to get hurt for that. How will i even escape from here. Immediately the door was open and one of the men walked in holding a tray of food. I was really starving because since yesterday evening and now they haven’t given us anything to eat not even water to drink and that even make me feel so weak.
“Gary order me to give you this and he said you should be fast because he’s taking you somewhere,” he said while i nodded then sat down on the floor.
“wh.. what about Drake? i found myself asking the man.
“Drake! that good for nothing guy! he’s in the torture room downstairs, trying to act so tough but we have teach him a lesson and mind you Drake isn’t going anywhere and that’s because we plan to kill him,” he laughed and i felt my heart skipped a bit. I need to save Drake before Gary takes me wherever he want to. I chew a little from the food, even thou am so hungry and still want to eat everything on the plate but i can’t am scared they might want to drug me through this. I stare at the ugly man who was watching me eat and then i notice there was a gun in his trouser pocket.
“be fast, the boss want to see you soon,” he yelled at me while i just nodded then picked the fork and chew a little from the food, i watch carefully and when the man was busy on his phone i quickly stabbed him so hærd on his neck with the fork, he was bleeding so bad which scare me the most but i quickly removed the gun from the trouser and picked his phone, my hands were shaking as I quickly texted mom the address of this place because I once heard Gary repeatedly saying the address while he was on call. After sending the text i hurriedly rushed out of the room, i need to save Drake- I walked quietly in the hallway checking the room but couldn’t find him and just then i remembered what that man told me that Drake is in the torture room. I quietly walked down stairs to check if the torture room was somewhere there and just as expected i found him in one of the rooms there, thank goodness the door wasn’t locked the probably left it open because they think it’s impossible for any intruder to get in. Omg! he was badly injured, i was shocked by the sight- is this really Drake, i quickly ran nd hugged him.
“Bianca, this is dangerous, what are doing here? he asked calmly.
“what did they do to you,” i cried, seeing him this way really hurt so much.
“we have to escape they are planning to kill you while Gary is planning to take me somewhere else,” i said then gave him the gun,” he nodded while i helped him stand up, his hands were wrapped around my shoulder- so did mine. We walked out and just when we were about to open the door Gary walked in looking so angry but thank goodness this time he was alone without any of his men.
“you two again,” he smirk then pulled out a gun but Drake was fast enough, he quickly pull the trigger shooting him twice on his leg.
“you need to get out of here Bianca, i have to handle this monster,” he said angrily and just when am about running away i felt a bullet penetrated through me- on my shoulder, i thought it was Gary but was shocked to see Annie pointing a gun at me, she was just in her towel but looking at her face she look so miserable.
“i shouldn’t be the only one to suffer Bianca,” she said in tears and shoot me again this time on my stomach, i felt like my wh0le body was on fire as tears slide down my eyes, i fall to the ground, losing so much blood already, Drake quickly drop his gun and ran to my side but i could see Gary who was pointing a gun directly at his back. I wanted to scre-m out and tell him to shift but my strength was gradually leaving me- just then i heard a gunshot, followed by another gunshot not knowing what’s happening again- i passed out….

Both families were so worried, they were still expecting to a receive a call or text from the kidnappers but got non until late in the evening when Harriet saw the text on her phone. They police were still doing everything they can to track them down but things got more easier when Ellen received a text from an unknown number.
“i guess Bianca texted me this,” she hand it to officer Phil and he read the message.
💌*it Bianca, please we need your help. Am at bugis town and the house is located in a des**ted area,**💌
After reading the message and without wasting any time they quickly head to the place and surrounded the wh0le building.
Annie’s POV
I was shocked and still scared when i saw Bianca on the ground in the pool of her blood- i shouldn’t be the only one to suffer here, she’s the cause of my misfortune and i hate her so much, if she wasn’t in our lives all this wouldn’t have happen.
I felt so relief when i saw Gary on floor, his leg was bleeding so bad but i guess all he wanted that time was to shot Drake at the back but i was fast enough to shot him right at his hand, making the gun to fall, i quickly walked over to him.
“i told you i was going to kill you if i have the slightest chance,” i smirk pointing the gun at his forehead while he laughed.
“go ahead and kill me but you won’t get out of this building alive,” he kept laughing which got me more angry, i kicked his bleeding leg while he gro-ned in pains.
“put down your gun,” a husky voice said and that’s when i realize Gary boys rushed in.
“drop your gun or else…
I stare at them and back to Gary who was still laughing.
“i told you am more powerful than you,” he smirk.
“we need to get out of here, this bitch just killed Bianca, remember she was our key to the money. We’ve already texted your parents where to keep the money while we realize Bianca. My intentions was to realize Bianca while i kill Drake, you just f-cked up the wh0le plan but that won’t still change my mind about killing Drake,” he said to them.
“you f-cked up our wh0le planned Gary and i won’t allow you to kill Drake,” i said.
“the cops are here,” Walter rushed in looking so confused and i was shocked to hear that. The cops are here?
“we need to escape,” Gary clench his fist, i smirk knowing he won’t be able to walk now but his guys carried him and they quickly followed through the back door at the yard. I felt so scared, now am on my own but how did they cops get to know we are here, am definitely sure on one was suspicious of me, no one followed me. I turn to see Drake who was crying over Bianca’s body, he carried her in his arms and start walking towards the door..
“you should be happy i spare your life Drake. Gary would have kill you,” i told him.
“non of this would have happen if you didn’t had us kidnapped, i hate you Annie and i hope you’ll pay for this,” he said and i felt like scre-ming out my lungs. Is that the only thing he will say after saving his life. I was so confused not knowing what to do. This wasn’t the plan, i never thought this wh0le thing will end so disastrous, maybe i shouldn’t have shoot Bianca so we can get the money first but i know how cunning Gary can be will still take all the money- i guess it better this way that we just lost the money. I quickly rushed to room trying to look for something to wear, i need to leave here as soon as possible before anyone will suspect, i know by now Bianca must be already death and Drake might rant me out with Gary but i won’t allow that to happen, i use the situation to turn the table around- Bianca is death and him saying am involved in everything am sure the court won’t believe him easily without any concrete evidence especially when they knew someone close to him died, he might actually be traumatize to accused me of everything* I thought of the idea but i still felt so scared, maybe i should have just allow Gary to kill him so that he won’t rant me out. I quickly pick a simple dress from the closet and wore, i was ruining out when i heard a phone ringing, it was my phone ringing and i almost forgot about it, i thought Gary has taken it away. i quickly pick it from the bed- it was Patricia calling.
📞”babe, are you okay? she asked and i could sense her worried voice.

📞 “i didn’t see you in school earlier. Annie are the rumors am hearing true?
📞 “what rumors? i sked looking so confused.
📞 “about you being the adopted daughter of Mrs. Harriet Gonzalez and your nude pictures too, it all over the internet now and everyone in school now knows about it, it now the trending new and gossips all over,” she said but i froze at the same s₱0t not knowing what to say, i quickly disconnected the call and check the internet- she was true. I, Nigel, Gina and Williams waited outside the car when we arrived, officer Phil suggest we stay back to avoid anyone from getting hurt but i wasn’t just myself, i paced to nd for not knowing what to do- i kept wondering who those scoundrels kidnapers are and why will even kidnapped Bianca and Drake. Suddenly we heard a gunshot and that alone freak me out.
“need to go and see what’s happening,” i said trying to leave but Williams held me back.
“it dangerous to go there Harriet and i won’t allow you endanger your life,”
“and since when did you care bout me,’ i yelled back at him then free myself from his grip
“the girl was shoot, she’s losing so much blood already,” one of the police quickly rushed to us carrying someone- i felt my heart skip a bit when i saw Bianca in his arms lifeless.
“Bianca,” i yelled in tears, he quickly took her into the car. Drake showed up soon and i was as well shocked to see how bad he looked, he was badly wounded.
“Drake!.. what happen to you,” his parents quickly rushed to him while i quickly get into the car, Williams quickly speed off to the hospital- i hope Bianca will survived this..

I and Williams were already at the hospital, Gina too was with Drake the wh0le time. Ellen just came an hour go and was told about what happen to Bianca, i should have ask the security guard to drag her out because she don’t deserves to be here, non of this would have happen if she had given me my daughter a long time go and if not for the fact that things are getting more worst and complicated for me these days i wouldn’t hesitate to file a case against her and then sent her to the jail- where she truly belongs.

I and Williams sat down opposite to Nigel at his office and he told us Bianca needed blood transfusion because she has lost a lot of blood.
“you don’t have to worry Harriet, the operation was successful and she just need a blood transfusion to be in good shape,’ he said.
“blood transfusion? are you sure she’ll gonna be okay? i sked so worried.
“she will i assure you that,” he said.
“i will denote my blood Nigel and whoever did this to her must pay,”
“i don’t think you’re strong enough to do that Harriet,” he said.
“but why, i just want to help, am her mother and i can’t just sit here and do nothing about it,”
“it’s about your condition Harriet, are why things getting so messed up now,” Williams quickly replied back.
“what did you mean,”
“i know about everything Harriet and i only want to help to, each time i remember you have short a limited time to live just as the doctor said i felt so horrible and that broke my heart, I’ve lose you once Harriet but this time i can’t lose you again, not to anyone nor to death,” he half yelled as he reach out his hands to mine, my eyes were filled with tears already, i hate to remember about this- not when i have found my daughter.
“but Harriet.. how did all this happen? he sked.
“i have been fighting this for years now and it was doctor Loren that attended to me at that time, i thought it was getting better but it keep worsening, this isn’t someone i can change maybe this how my miserable life was planned to be- to die just when I’ve found my daughter,” i said in tears.
“we will fight this together Harriet, nothing will ever happen,” Williams assured me but i felt hopeless, if only i can re-write the story of my life by myself then i would have make it a happy ending but it’s still a happy ending for me at least Bianca is with us,” i said more tears rushing down my cheeks.
“Bianca is in there fighting for her life and you’re re still struggling to survived too, we are all in this together i assured you i won’t ever abandon you and Bianca again. Please Harriet forgive me for everything i did back then,’ he pleaded while i just nodded, maybe it’s time i should just let go of all the anger in me, after all at the end of our lives what really counts is how well we love, how well we learn and how well we learn to let thing go. i pulled Williams into hug and cried on his chest.
“are you really sure about this? you won’t leave me again? i asked amidst of tears.
“i promise Harriet especially now that we’ve found our daughter, i know our family will be complete again,”
“wow, what a perfect reunion, i like this,” Nigel smile while we laughed.
“i will denote the blood for her,” Williams said.
“are you sure about this? i asked.
“am strong enough to do that Harriet, i promise to keep my family together,” he assured me, i was interrupted by my phone which just rang and i check the caller who was officer phil.
📞we’ve found the culprit and she’s right here with us at the station,” he said.
📞”she? i asked wondering who that person might be.
📞”am sorry ma’am but it your daughter Annie Gonzalez and this time she have to face the law,” he said with finality while i froze at that s₱0t trying to understand what he just said..
