“please take her to her room,” Dr. Nigel said while my personal nurse nodded and helped me walked to my room which was upstairs. We walked to the huge and beautiful room- this is far better than my room at home but i still want to go back home because home is still the best.
“am Leah, the young lady said while i smiled.
“am sure you know my name, am Bianca,” i said while she nodded.
“are you feeling any pain? she asked and i know she’s referring to my wound.
“no.. am fine,” i said then gently sat down on the huge bed- so soft. I smiled staring at the wh0le room.
“you need to take your medications accordingly and i will be back here in the evening to give you a shot,” she said, i wonder if she’ll gonna be living here.
“uhmm Leah, are you also staying here? i asked while i smiled.
“well i wished so but i will only come more often to treat your wound and make sure you need everything. Dr Nigel said i don’t have to stress myself, he said nanny Kora will helped you out with some other things,” she explained.
“nanny Kora?
“yes that’s Drakes nanny, i guess you haven’t meet her yet maybe they went out with Mrs. Gina, Drake’s mom,” she said while i nodded. Will i be able to cope in this house.
“Leah,” i called while she stared at me.
“please can you borrow me your phone i want to contact my mom,” i said while she nodded then hand me over the phone. I called mom again and this time her line was off, i was so worried could something have happen to her or dad.
“so do you need anything? Leah asked breaking through my thoughts.
“no.. thanks anyway,” i smile then hand over her phone back to her.
“i have to be on my way now,” she said while i nodded and watch her leave. I heaved a sigh of relief but feeling so worried about everything and thinking about that guy who just called me a f-cking shit really breaks me the more, it as if people no longer see me as a human, my life is just a mess. I heard a knock on the door and Dr. Nigel’s voice came in.
“you can come in Sir,” i said while he open the door and walked in.
“feel free Bianca,” he smile while i nodded.
“and am sorry about Drake’s behavior he can be so silly atimes,”
“oh it nothing,” i said with a fake smile but deep down in my heart it really something because what he said made me feel less human, i feel like breaking down in tears.
“i know with time you’ll get alone with Drake he isn’t so good with people the first time he meet them,” he added and i just nodded.
“but Sir.. are you really sure of me staying here won’t give you a hærd time or any member of your family? i asked while he smiled.
“You don’t have to worry Bianca,” he assured me while i just nodded.
“Gina and Mrs Kora are home already,” he said while i felt my heart skip a bit.
“Kora has been part of the family also, she’s like a mother to all of us, she has been Drake’s nanny ever since he was a kid,” he explained.
“and Gina she’s my wife,” he smile.
“i have already tell Leah to come tomorrow since am at home tonight,”
“thank you so much Sir,”
“you’ve thank me already, you don’t have to thank me like every single minute am just doing the right thing to help you out,” he said and i smile.
“you need some rest, i will just talk to Mrs. Kora downstairs,” he said and was about walking out when the door open and a woman who seems to be in her early fifties walked in, she was having a blonde hair.
“my guess was right you must be here,” she smile then looked towards me.
“hi.. ” i said
“hi Bianca,” she smiled then walked towards me. i guess Dr. Nigel must have told them about me.
“am glad you’re finally back on your feet,”
“you’re so welcome Bianca,” she smiled.
“thanks,” i smile, the woman seems so friendly and i felt a bit relief maybe we can be friends.
“Gina is waiting for you downstairs,” she whisper to Dr. Nigel while he nodded before going out.
“have you meet Drake? she asked with a smile.
“yes,” i replied sadly remembering what he said about me.
“oh.. seeing that sad face Drake must have say something bad, you don’t have to worry about him,” she said, it as if she knew everything that happen.
“am Drake’s nanny and i was the one who raise him ever since he was a kid, he’s a nice guy but can be so grumpy atimes,” she said. She gist me a lot about Drake especially his childhood days which got me laughing, i felt so relief talking to her it as if we’ve know each other for years i wish i will get alone with everyone in this house like this.

Nigel’s POV
We had dinner- the four of us; me, Gina, Kora and Drake. Bianca is in her room and i just ordered the maid to serve her dinner in her room because i don’t want to stress her for coming down here due to her condition she need to stay in one place so her wound can heal fast.
“so dad for how long is she gonna stay here, a total stranger in our house and what the heck even happen to her? we know nothing about her,” Drake complained while i sighed.
“of course i know a lot about her,”
“she might be lying to you,” he cut in.
“this is my house Drake and as far as your mom is comfortable with it i don’t f-cking care about your opinion,” i said while he looked at his mom who seems so quiet.
“enough Drake, you dad is right the poor girl need help and once she’s fine she’ll leave this house immediately,” she said, he looked so disappointed to hear that.
“and you nanny Kora? he asked her while she smiled.
“she’s a nice girl and beautiful too,” Kora smile while Drake rolled his eyes.
“i told her to be patience with your stupid attitude, i also told her everything about you,” she smiled.
“everything about me? Drake asked, he dropped his fork then stood up angrily.
“not everything but all she need to know about you and why the heck are you angry? Kora asked.
“nothing! he blunt out then walked away. I sigh as i watched him leave.
“he can be so grumpy atimes,” Gina said while i shrugged.
“am sorry if i cause any inconvenience by bringing Bianca in here i have no option but to do so. I promised to help the poor girl because she has went through a lot,” i explained while Gina nodded.
“as far as she’s a good girl then am okay with that,” she smiled.
“thanks,” i smiled feeling so relief, now i think i have to talk to Drake if he don’t want the girl around then he should better change his mind about that.

▪▪My phone rang and the caller was Harriet Gonzalez. The woman who first brought Bianca to my hospital she has been our family friend and i have been their family doctor too. I already told her the girl stays in my house.
📞 “hi Harriet,”
📞 “Nigel, how are you?
📞 “am doing good Harriet how is Annie?
📞 “she’s fine and she can’t wait to come back to Ontario to see Drake,” i heard her laughed.
📞”wow, Drake must be so happy then,” i smiled. Annie is Drake’s girlfriend and they have been good friend ever since they were kids and now they’re just the perfect couple.
📞 “so what you told me the other time is actually true? the girl stays in your house? she asked and i know she was referring to Bianca.
📞 “sure.. once she recovered she can go back to her family,”
📞 “but.. what actually happen?
📞 “oh.. it a long story maybe you can ask her yourself when you come,” i said.
📞 “okay, thanks a lot of helping out i almost forgot about her. I and Annie will be soon be home and we will visit you soon,” she said.
📞”can’t wait to see you then,” i smile before hanging up the call.
“that must be Harriet right? Gina asked and i nodded.
“her and Annie are coming home soon,” i said.
“wow.. that’s a good news i can’t wait to see them. Am glad Harriet is happy now! being a single mother that she is isn’t easy but she’s a strong woman,”
“everything that happen was in the past, am glad she has moved on,”

Bianca’s POV
Leah came the next day and gave me a shot and some medicine which i needed to take, she also helped me walked to the sitting room maybe i can keep myself busy there instead of staying here in this lonely room.
“uhmm.. Leah can you do me a favor? i asked while she looked at me.
“you can say anything, you know am being paid to do this job,” she smiled.
“okay.. can you please…..,” i sigh not knowing how to even tell her this.
“can you please visit my parents?” i quickly asked while she looked at me so confused.
” i know that you don’t even know me talk more of my parents but i still have their address, all you need to do is go there and tell them am still alive,” i pleaded while she sighed.
“my job is to take care of you and beside did Dr. Nigel knows about this?
“i wanted to tell him but he travelled this morning and i don’t know when he’s coming back. He won’t get mad if he knows about this, he even asked me to try to contact my parents but i can’t reach them on phone, i need someone i can trust to help me out with this.. please,” i pleaded
“am sorry i don’t want to risk my job,” she said while i nodded feeling so disappointed, i just hope everything is fine with mom and dad.
“Bianca..,” Nanny Kora called with a smile then walked up to me.
“how are you feeling now?
“feeling better now,” i smiled.
“okay i have to go now,” Leah said with a smile then picked her bag before leaving.
“you don’t look happy? Nanny Kora asked.
“am fine,”
“well you don’t look fine to me, just feel free we don’t bite,” she smile then sat down beside me.
“do you want to eat anything?
“no, am okay,”
“Kora, i have to go now make sure Drake doesn’t ditch school today he have to go,” Mrs. Gina said as she climbed down the stairs, she looks so pretty and young and seems she’s already dressed for work in a short silver gown with a matching heels, she have a long nice hair like mine.
“and Bianca take care,” she smile lightly at me while i nodded, we don’t really get alone but she isn’t so hærd on me, the only person i guess who is so much interested in me is nanny Kora.
“i have to go now,” Mrs. Gina smiled then walked out elegantly- such beauty! i guess that where their son must have gotten that cuteness from.
“When did you think Dr. Nigel would come back? I asked trying to start a conversation with her.
“Soon. Maybe few days if the operation turn out successfully,”
“Oh!
“So what about your parents and they guys who did this to you?
“I don’t know about any of them because I haven’t heard from them,” I said sadly.
“You’ll get through this Bianca,” she smiled then held my hand. Suddenly we heard footsteps descending from the stairs and I turn to see Drake – looking so handsome, seems like he’s going out.
“wow, it a good thing you’ll go to school on time today,” Nanny Kora smiled at him while he glance at me then walked up to us, to her in particular because she was seated next to me, the sweet fragrance from his body hit my nostril. He smell so nice.
“sure, I have a lot to do but i will be home on time to visit Annie,” he smiled and I could tell he look so happy when he mentioned the name “Annie”.
“They’re coming back today? His nanny asked.
“Okay then, just take care,” she said while he nodded before walking out, it as if am even invisible to him.
“He look so happy today,” Nanny Kora smiled.
“Who’s Annie? I asked curiously
“Oh, that’s his girlfriend,”
“i guess that’s why he looked so happy mentioning her name,” i smiled.
“sure, he loves Annie so much. I never thought Drake will settle with just one girl, he was such a jerk and a flirt back then that’s why his dad insisted he come back home from Italy and ever since he came, his friendsh¡p with Annie became so serious, i don’t know how it even happen but all i know is that Drake is so much in love now and am happy he finally realized the right thing for him,” she smile!
“he’s mom wanted him to study there in Italy because she want him to join her in the company she’s running. Gina is really a successful business woman and own a winery company which she want her son to help her out once he’s done with school and that was the reason she sent him to Italy to his grandparents to study but he became more spoilt, his grandparents loved him and give him everything at his beck and call, all they say was that he’s still a kid and need to enjoy his youthful life, he was always getting into trouble and things were getting out of hand that’s why Nigel immediately told him to come back home and continue from where he stooped at the university. Am glad he’s coming back was for good because his friendsh¡p with Annie worked out smoothly and now they’re together,” she giggle.
“oh… he’s so lucky you know, i think it’s a good thing he came home and it also a good thing his girlfriend changed him,” i smiled and makes me remember Gary, when i first fell in love with him i was so happy too and i thought he’s the best thing that ever happen to me but look at where all this landed me to… once am perfectly fine Gary will hear from me..

@ Gonzalez mansion.
Annie stared at her room with a smile on her face, it been a while and she missed it so much. She had a very good time with her mom during their vacation and it was just the best days of their life spending a good time together. She also felt so happy because she’s gonna start schooling at Drakes school, she’s done with high school few weeks back and was the best graduating student and that’s the reason why Harriet her mother insisted they go for a vacation to celebrate her daughter. Annie felt so happy because she’ll gonna be close to Drake and not only that, her mom promise to throw a grand birthday party for her during her eighteen birthday which is just in few weeks times.
She sat on her bed and picked up her phone to call Drake but was disturbed by a knock on her door.
“come in,” she said perfunctorily. The door went open and Drake walked in- he’s wh0le body smile when he saw her.
“Drake!” a smile escape her l-ips and she jumped from her bed and hugged him so tight.
“i thought you’ll not gonna come,” she teased
“i miss you so much you know,” he smile then k-ssed her.
“and you look so handsome,” she ruffle his hair playfully making it look so messy.
“and how was the vacation, i hope you’ve brought so many goodies for me,” he laughed
” a lot of goodies for my boyfriend. Awwwn i miss those l-ips,” Annie smirk as she stare at his pinkish soft l-ips.
They both smiled and k-ssed each other at the same time, the ecstasy they felt was like no other. Drake turned to be in a better position, he placed his hand around her wa-ist and slowly push her back to the bed making her giggle, he straddled over her body and her hand tightened over his shoulder pulling him closer to her.
“i love you,” he whisper and they locked into another hot but rough k-ss.💕

Harriet POV

I sat down on my bed as i brought out an old box from the store, i just wanted to have a warm bath and rest tonight but i can’t. This box held so many bad memories which i don’t want to remember but i can’t help but to remember every single thing. How i lost my chance to be a mother and if i haven’t adopt Annie then i wouldn’t have been this happy. I shouldn’t have even brought the idea of this surrogacy but i couldn’t help it, i wanted to be a mother so bad, i was so desperate and since i have all it takes i wanted to try out this surrogacy and i was glad Nigel helped me in that. My husband also agreed to it but it didn’t turn out well when Ellen ran away with the child. I stare at the pregnancy test result and my eyes where filled with tears. We did all the satisfy legal requirements and it was just like a contract signed and approved by our attorney but Ellen break all the rules and ran away, i trusted her so much and i thought she was the right person for the job. If i should ever get to see her she will have to pay for her crimes. Williams also contributed so bad to this, he shouldn’t have involved Loretta and i know till now Ellen will still think we have a hand in what happen to her daughter. I picked an old photos of my husband -Williams, i tried hærd to fight those tears in my eyes. Williams also left me after the incident he said all this was because of my barrenness and he’s no longer interested in the marriage, i felt so hurt because when Ellen was still with us i thought they were both falling for each other, i let my jealousy and anger get the best of me, my marriage was ruined, Loretta was dead and Ellen ran away with my daughter only to tell me she later had a miscarriage…💔
