“Harmony wake up! You fool you’re still sleeping at noon. ”

Someone shook me on the bed and I gro-ned. “J..ust a litt..le mo..re ple..ase” I stuttered.
“No, or I’ll report you to mom. ” she stated.
I opened my eyes to see my sister Kendall, glaring down at me.

“What now.” I mumbled as I tossed round on the bed.

“You know I slept late last night?”

“Doing what? “she scoffed. “Watching Alvin and the ch¡pmunks or Spongebob..”

I smiled sitting up. Stretching my body and yawned.

“Eww did you swallow dead rat, your mouth stink. “she said scrunching her face.

I frowned and brought my palm to my mouth to smell my breath.
“There is nothing wrong with my breathe.”

“Oh sorry I forgot its mine. ” she said sarcastically with an eye roll.

I sighed. “Seriously Kendall why did you wake me up? ”

“Mom wants you in the restaurant, now ”

“But what about you, what are you doing. Why can’t she just call you.” I grumbled with a frown.

“Seriously, I have been working my ass out since morning while you’re here sleeping like you want. You know I don’t blame you, I blame Mom. “she gritted her teeth angrily and stormed out.

Why is she angry?

I shake my head before dragging myself to the bathroom to have my bath.

After I was done, I stood in front of my closet trying to figure out what clothes I will wear.

The idea of wearing pink formed in my head and I welcomed the idea immediately.

I searched for my pink Cinderella ball gown and picked it out.
I’ve always loved T-shirt designed with my favorite Disney princesses. Especially Cinderella, Sofia the first and Rapunzel.

After putting on my gown and putting on my pink sandals.

I grab my pink bunny ears hair band and place it on my hair. I giggled at my self in front of the mirror, admiring the way I looked.

I rushed downstairs and met my sister cleaning.

“Hey Kendall, check me out ” I said and turned around..

I faced her waiting for her response but she didn’t give me any.

“Kendall!! Are you mad at me?” I pouted as I walked closer to her. I grab her arm pulling it to my chest as I stared at her.

She signed and look at me, then at my body and shook her head.
“You are lucky you have a petite stature with your 10 year old dresses “she said making me frown.

Kendall and mom always condemn my dressing and even almost every I do but I seriously don’t see anything wrong with it.

“I should have known, jealousy. ” I hissed and stepped away from her.

“Anyways I’m starving is there food at home? ” I asked but didn’t wait for her response before walking in to the kitchen to check it my self.

“There isn’t any food here! ” I yelled dropping the cover of the pot I opened angrily.

“Eat cereal ” I heard her say.

“Cereal for breakfast or what? ”

“I know you’ll still get hungry after five minutes but your silly ass can’t even boil water not to talk of cook ”

“Are you going to insult me or you are going to find me something to eat unless you want me to die! ” I said and walked back to the living room.

“You can’t die, hunger doesn’t kill “she laughed. “Lazy ass don’t deserve to eat” she sticked out her tongue in mockery.

My face became red with anger as I fumed angrily.

“I’m gonna report you to mom, you’ll see ”

“Oh Harmony, stop acting like a ten year old. You are twenty three. Face me, let’s fight and see who will win “she smirked.

“Hmph” I scoffed and began to head out of the house.

“I love you!” I heard her shout.

I wish I can hate her. But she’s still the best Big Sis ever.

After Dad died six years ago, the only he left us. Me, my mom and my sister was his restaurant and his flat which we live in.

Mom had run the restaurant for years now and it’s doing fine. Infact it’s one of the best restaurants in town.

My sister Kendall, is 25 years old who helped mom in the restaurant ever since she graduated from college. Me, I graduated last year and I’m still enjoying my freedom not ready to start working.

My sister was right calling me lazy, because that’s what I am.

I saw my sweaty Mom walking around the kitchen supervising the chefs and telling them what to do. I walked closer to her and took out my face towel and dab her face with it.

She smiled seeing me. “Harmony “she touch my cheek softly.

She frowned when she saw my dress.
“Not this again Harmony, what about the ones I bought for you yesterday? ”

“I don’t like them Mum, you know I feel comfortable with this ones ” I told her.

She sighed and nodded her head.

She went back to her work directing the chefs.

I ignored the way my stomach grumbled severally and walk up to her again.

“Mum, is there any thing I can do. Can I take the orders ”

My mom looked at me surprised that I said that.

“No don’t worry princess “she smiled.

I smiled back. “It’s fine mom let me ” I reassured her.

She looked at me unsure and hesitantly before sighing.

“Serve this tea for seat 107 and be careful ”

I nodded my head and collected the tray from her.

“Be careful “she said again and I nod.

She knows how clumsy I am, that’s why she keep repeating that.

I head out of the kitchen to deliver the tea. If I do this well mom will let me eat what I want. My mouth is watering at the thought of it alone and my stomach grumbled happily scre-ming I can’t wait, I can’t wait.

I started thinking of the foods I’m going to eat.

Hmm, waffles? Yes I’m definitely gonna have potato waffles and rice and chicken nuggets and bread pudding and yes I’ve been longing to eat buffalo wings for a long time.

“I just can’t wait to pounce on you babies. ” I said to myself and grinned.

I was brought out of my soliloquies when I collided with a wall and the hot tea pour… On a hand. Oh no, not a wall, I think it’s a body.

The person gro-ned in pain. “What the hell! “he yelled.

I looked up and my eyes almost popped out of its socket. The tray in my hand fell due to shock, It wasn’t just anyone but my mom’s richest costumer.

A very popular and young business man who visits our restaurant every day.

My God, no buffalo wings again. I felt like crying.

My eyes w¡dened more when two men in suit grab me on both arms and began dragging me. The other two men took their boss to the car.

Wait where are they taking me?.

“Mom!!” I yelled as the dragged me.
