Collin’s pov
“Meli meli!!!” “I’LL KILL YOU STELLA IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO HER”
I yell at Stella who is running away. I carry her in,side my car and rushed Melinda to the hospital and called Jane to inform her about what is going on… I paced around in the hospital halls waiting for the doctor to come out and say something.
Jane and Andrew had already gotten to the hospital
“Where’s she where’s meli” Jane asks “The doctors are attending to her , she’s going to be okay” I tell her
“Do you remember her now” Andrew asks
“Yes yes I do , I f-cking remember my woman, I couldn’t believe I forgot her ” I tell Andrew and put my hands on my head “Now am afraid something bad is gonna happen to her”
I continue “Guy she’s gonna be okay, one thing I know about meli is she doesn’t gives up” “That bitch is dead, she shouldn’t consider herself living anymore”Jane says and the doctor walks out “Doctor doctor , how’s she” I ask “Doctor is she going to be okay” Jane asks
“She’s okay, she fainted due to the massive stress she’s going through and the tests results also says she has acute stomach ulcer”
“Ulcer???” I ask “Yes, it’s due to not eating on time or not eating at all, the impact of the blow or punch or hit on her stomach made her to bleed in,side , causing her…..” I interrupt him
“Doctor is she okay, is she going to be okay” “Yes yes , nothing serious she’s just sleeping now but you can go see her if you want to” the doctor says and leaves.
. We entered her word and she’s still sleeping, I sit beside her and she suddenly wakes up “Hey ” she says sitting up “You mad wife, so you’ve been starving yourself all this while, am really going to divorce you this time around” Jane says and we all laugh “Please disown her , I can’t marry a woman who’s already married” I say and both Andrew and Jane laugh while Melinda looks me in the eyes and smile. Jane and Andrew excused us to have our discussion “Have missed you so so much”I tell her “But you just remembered me today” “Even though, all those times I forgot you , you were still in my head” I tell her “Collins” “Hm” “I love you” “I love you too”
I reply her and we start to k-ss suddenly Jane walks in “Seriously, we haven’t even left for a minute” “F-ck off madam” MELINDA tells her “Whatefs, I also have a boyfriend
” she says and walk out , we continue to k-ss but she walks in immediately
“She’s still a patient you know, don’t let her faint again” she says
“JANE” Melinda shouts and she goes out “I want to go home, I hate staying in hospitals” she tells me… We signed the papers and drove her to my house “No school today??” Greg asks “We had some problems ” I tell him and we went upstairs “So how you now” I asked her “Am kinda okay” she replies “Did you stress and starve yourself because of me??” “I.. **Melinda’s Pov**
Seriously Jane can be so annoying at times. I close the door and turn back to see Collins standing in front of me.. “Whoa , you scared me , are you going out” I ask him but he just draws me closer and hugs me tightly. “Meli , I don’t want to lose you, I don’t want this to end, I want to be close like this with you forever and nothing should separate us , no Stella or Charles should come between us” he said still hugging me tight “If if we are this close forever am afraid I won’t be able to breath anymore” I say trying to gasp for breath and he releases me “Am sorry am sorry” “It’s okay” I say coughing “Soooo are you my girlfriend now” he asks “I don’t know, you haven’t ask me out yet” “Ok , Melinda” he says and kneels down “Would you be my girlfriend??” He continues and I just laugh and say yes “Oh thank you sweetie” he says and carries me up “Whoa,” I say frighteningly He carries me down and we start k-ssing again, we k-ssed like our lives depended on it . He starts to pull down the zip of my gown while we were still k-ssing. He carries me to the bed and drops me lightly . I unbutton his shirt and toss it away.. He starts k-ssing the nape of my neck and as he was about to pull down the strap of my b-ra , he stopped and sits up..

No am not, I just don’t know how to swim” “Should I teach you” he asks “Hmmm no” “No?? Am a great teacher “I have a feeling we would be doing other stuff in the water than learning how to swim” “I guess you’re right” he says and we both laugh “Oh shit” I say looking at my wrist watch “What is it” “I have to get home now” “Whyyyyy, Jane is sleeping over” he says “Jane is living alone, am still under my mom and it’s ten minutes past my curfew” “Curfew??” He laughs “What are you….13” he says and I punch him lightly in his stomach and he starts to gro-n “Oh God, my stomach” he says and bends down “Collins are you okay,I didn’t mean to punch you that hærd” I tell him but he continues gro-ning… All of a sudden he carries me and enter the pool making me to scre-m “Aaaaaaaaargh, Collins what are you doing” I ask him but he’s already laughing “You thought that chicken blow could affect mighty Collins” he asks but I don’t reply him cause am dead scared.. “Collins , let’s get out of the water now, please” I plead and he laughs “Such a scaredy cat” he says and carries me out of the water “Now am all w-t, how would I go home now” “Don’t worry, I’ll drive you home” “Like this” I ask Okay fine let’s go change “Into what??, I don’t have any extra clothes” “You could wear mine” he says
We went upstairs changed our clothes, told Andrew, Jane and Greg goodbye and Collins drove me home… ” Goodnight” I tell him “Goodnight” he says and I walk in,side but immediately
I turn back and run to him . “I love you Collins” I say and k-ss him “I
love you too” he says k-ssing me back… “Goodnight” I tell him and walk in,side.. I met mom sleeping on the couch and I tiptoed past her suddenly I heard her voice “You said he’s not your boyfriend, but you k-ssed him” “Mom ” I say shocked “You’re awake??” “Oh yes, I was watching the drama both of you were performing outside” “Oh , we we” I say trying to find a word “It’s okay, I knew it was going to happen, with the way he looks at you and the way you argue with him, both of you are just like I and your dad” “Really Mom” I ask “Am not telling you any rom-ntic story this night so go to bed and always tell me if you are going to miss curfew” “Awwww goodnight Mom” I say “Goodnight sweetie” she says and I run to my room . but I couldn’t sleep, I kept thinking about Collins….
NEXT morning
Another day of school, Collins picks me up at home and takes me to school… In school, he holds me tightly and doesn’t allow me to move away from his sight….

“Are you okay” Collins ask me and I nodded the positive “Am sorry” he says “Why” “For not coming on time” “It’s not your fault” I tell him “I hate that guy” he says and I laughs “What’s funny” “Nothing” I say “It’s just…..” I continue but he cuts me off with a k-ss and I k-ss him back….
A week later
I and Collins have been going out now making all the female students to be jealous but I don’t care. I get up from bed and see a message, it’s from Collins I open it and it said “Meet me at star mine hotel, and
wear that blue gown I bought for you, there’s a car waiting downstairs for you” I was confused, I don’t understand what’s going on but I still did what he asked me to do..
. The gown was really beautiful and I looked more than splendidulous… I wore one of my silver hills and put on a light makeup.
I went downstairs and saw the car, the car really looked expensive, I got in,side and he drove me to the hotel… Nobody was in the hotel, except from the receptionist…
She gave me a letter and it said “Roof top” I took the elevator and went to the rooftop, I saw Collins, wow he looked more than handsome .. I looked at the other side and saw a table with candles on it… C
ollins saw me and I noticed he was out of words , he just kept on staring at me until he came over and hugged me.. “Collins, what’s going on , is this also a date” I ask him but instead he kneels down on one knee “My life has never been complete until the day I met you, even when I thought I was just playing you I didn’t know I had already fallen in love with you, I see you as the woman I would want to spend the rest of my life with, the woman to bear my children, I know it may still be early for all this but I want you now, I want you to be the woman I would sleep with and wake up with” he stops then continues “Melinda would you do me the Honor of being my wife, will you marry me” he asks and brings out a very expensive diamond studded ring. I was out of words, is Collins really proposing to me, I really love him but isn’t it a little bit early. I also want to be his woman till death do us apart, but am scared . Should I say yes….
