Jane’s pov ”
Jane you can’t just kill an innocent child because of the father’s mistake” melinda tells me “Fine Fine have heard you, am really hungry can we go out to eat” I tell her trying to change the topic

” I really can’t wait to see you get fat” she says jokingly

“Continue talking and you’ll see your period 28 times a month” I say angrily ”

Oops” she said covering her mouth “Am sorry , mother of twins” she jokes and I look at her angrily then laugh..

Actually the real fact is no matter how much I hate Andrew for what he did to me that doesn’t change the fact that I still love him very much and I miss him so much….
**Andrew’s pov*
“She won’t pick my calls, she won’t allow me talk to her when I go see her in school, last time I visited her she released Rodger (bull dog) on me luckily I and Rodger are best friends now if not I would have been dog meat, she even said she doesn’t wants to see me again”

I complain to Collins after one week of futile efforts in trying to settle things with Jane

“Okay” Collins says

“Okay??, I just told you a serious life problem am going through and you just gonna say okay” I say getting upset

“What do you want me to say” he asked

“I need your advice man” I tell him

“Advice??” He scoffs then continues “Go meet Sarah, she’ll give you advice” he says mockingly

“Oh so you gonna mock me now” I say upset

“Well I wouldn’t say I didn’t tell you” he says

“Oh, so now you gonna give me the*I told you so* speech “Ohk ohk, fine do you love her” “I told you bro, more than life itself ”

“Fine go get your woman, prove to her that you love her no matter the circ-mstance” Collins says patting my back and existing…..
**Melinda’s Pov**
After we( Jane and I) had lunch, I dropped her at her place and went home,mom wasn’t around she had travelled back to India so I was surprised when I saw the door unlocked..

Maybe Collins is around, to told myself since he is the only person apart from Jane and of course my mom that has access to my house..

“Collins, I was going to come over today” I say entering the room but you met Charles, he was starting at my bookshelf “What what do you want” I ask getting scared “Calm down melinda, I don’t bite have come to talk”

“What do you want to say” I ask “Well have come to warn you” he says “Warn me??” “Yes darling have come to warn you” he said using his hands to car-ss my face but I swipe it away immediately He brings out a photo and shows it to me ….

The photo showed a girl who was involved in an accident, and her body was torn apart. I looked at the photo with fear “Why are you showing me this”I asked “It’s scary right?, that’s the picture of brenda Collins ex girlfriend, when she found out that Collins was only playings her she got drunk and involved herself in an accident”

“Wha wha what are you you talking about” I asked as I trembled in fear holding the photo

“That’s not all sweet heart, look at this ” he said bringing out another photo…

The photo contain another girl, she was holding a knife and it was very obvious that she had stabbed herself severally and beside her was

* I love Collins* written boldly with her own blood…

” Blood of Jesus”I said as a tear fell from my eye

” It’s not blood of Jesus it’s blood of Lilian the only woman I ever loved but didn’t love me back.

she was in love with collins and she friendzoned me but still ANYTIME COLLINS HURT HER SHE USED MY SHOULDERS TO WIPE HER TEARS” he said raising his voice
“I I I…” I stammered not knowing what to say “And you you think you are special, one day I’ll also show a picture of your dead body to another bitch” he said

“Did I forget to mention that Lilian had a child for him”

.”Chi child” I asked surprised at the new information he was giving me “Yes a child”

“Did Collins know”

“Yes but he said he won’t accept the child of a wh-re”

“Dead”

“Dead??” I asked surprisingly

“Yes , died a week after his mother died since no one was there to help him” he stops then looks at my fingers “Engagement ring” he scoffs then continues

“Don’t worry, your mom would use it to buy a coffin for your funeral” he said mockingly

“GET OUT, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE” I yell at him almost crying “Am out already sweetie, just came to warn you” he said and left leaving the photos with me ..

I was angry, scared frustrated devastated and heartbroken..

I couldn’t stop tears from falling from my eyes..

I decided to confront Collins about it to know if Charles was saying the truth…
**Collins pov**
I was doing some online transaction when, I saw melinda walk in “Hey sweetie, how you”

I say as I stand up to hug her but she didn’t respond

“Is everything okay” I ask raising her face up

“What do you know about this” she asked throwing two photos at me, the picture was very very familiar, and I had kept it hidden so that questions like this won’t be asked in the future
“Where where did you get this” I asked with a confused face

“I asked you a question Collins, do you know anything about this photo, is this photo related to you” she asked getting upset

“N_n_ no” I replied, it was obvious I was lieing “So you just gonna lie to me right” she says looking at my eyes
“Okay fine, it happened when I broke up with them and told them I wasn’t interested, but this is years ago Melinda, it’s in the past”

“What of your child”

“Child???” I asked confusingly then remembered I had a child with Lilian but the child didn’t live long.
Seriously who the f-ck is telling melinda all this, I thought of denying it but I know she’s going to find the truth sooner or later
“Listen melinda” I said holding her hands but she released herself immediately
“All those years was a mistake , I didn’t understand love then, but now that have met you am….” She cuts me off

“The child died of neglect” she says “Melinda that child is past why are you bringing him up” I ask her and she starts crying

“That child, was a human being, your own flesh and blood but you didn’t care” she says as tears fall from her eyes

“But what has happened has happened” I say getting irritated at the drama she was putting on

. ” YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING OR ANYONE, YOU ARE NO DIFFERENT FROM A BEAST, NO YOU ARE A BEAST” she yells loudly at me
“Melinda…” She cuts me off again ” I don’t think I would want to have to do anything with a beast” she says pulling out of her ring “Melinda what are you doing”

“Go and look for a female beast to give this ring to , as for me am done” she says and walks out, I couldn’t do anything, I felt like I was in a dream, I ran after her but she was in her car already

“Melinda let’s talk, please” I say but she just zooms off
**Melinda’s Pov**
I know I overreacted with Collins, I wasn’t supposed to call him a beast and pull off the ring, but he true fact was…
**Flash back 4 years earlier**
I had a little brother who died when I was just 14 years, he was just three then and my mom had serious health issues, I attended a boarding school so I didn’t know anything that was going on at home.

Mom always called and told me her health was getting worse and dad wasn’t doing anything. Daniel ( little brother) also became sick and mom didn’t have any money to pay his hospital fees to make it worse dad neglected his own son..

I went home one weekend and met mom crying, she was carrying Daniel and the ambulance had come to carry him “They are taking him to the morgue, they said he’s dead ” mom said she was crying profusely, I knew that the crying would cause only more damage to her health later “What , no mom it can’t be , I just bought him the toy he always asked for” I said already crying and ran to the ambulance, I knew he was gone already but I called him “Danny Danny , have brought you the airplane you always cried for, I used all my savings to buy it I didn’t eat anything in school because of it, wake up and play with it” I said as hot tears filled my eyes

“Danny wake up , please don’t do this to me please wake up for your sister” I cried out but it was late
I watched with sadness as the ambulance carried my brother away, I knew I had to be strong for my mom but it was too painful, losing one’s younger sibling, I cried my wh0le eyes that day , when I bought the toy , I had imagined how happy he would be , I had never seen him smile before but I was very sure that he was going to be happy , but now I can never see that smile again…

Even that same day , my Beast father came home drunk, mom told him everything but all the son of a bitch could say was “Okay we could produce another son now” he was trying to touch my mom again, I looked at him with disgust, I took a plank and hit it on his head, I had to run away with mom leaving the beast to his cursed fate…
**PRESENT TIME**
I got home and started to cry, I brought out the picture of Daniel and start crying my eyes out more and more, I slept after being exhausted from crying, tommorow morning I was going to apologise to Collins…
**NEXT MORNING**
**CHARLES Pov**
“Are you sure it’s gonna work” Stella asked me as she light another cigarette

“Of course it would, everything I said was true apart from the child’s death part”

“The child is still alive” she asks “Na , I killed the little bastard by myself , I strangled his tiny neck to death” I said demonstrating as I strangled him
“Bad beast” she said jokingly and I laughed “You can call me that again” I replied and we laughed again
… I and Stella had decided to join forces and destroy Collins and Melinda relationsh¡p, we are in her house discussing a plan
“So you said the next plan is to hack into Collins phone right” Stella asked and I nodded the positive

“But you don’t look like an hacker” she says and I laugh

“You wanna try me” I ask her and she nods

“What’s your Instagram username” “@bad_bitchstella” she replies

“Nice name” I tell her and start doing my stuff in my phone 5 minutes later “Check your profile darling”

She opens her account and becomes shocked “I I didn’t post this, how come” she asks then look at me

” Did you just just” she asked and I nodded..

I hacked into Collin’s phone and sent a message to melinda
” hey babe, am really sorry about yesterday we ,really need to talk and I need to show you something please come to this address” I sent the message and sent another one

“22 Western box street” I sent it to her and Stella looked at me confusingly

“That’s not my address” “I know, it’s the address of where Lilian died”

“Oh ,ok so now what” “Now we have fun” I said and brought out my gun
**Melinda’s Pov**
I woke up with a banging headache, I remembered what happened yesterday and I decided to apologise to Collins.
I took my bath and dressed, I looked at my phone and saw a message from Collins it read

: hey babe, am really sorry about yesterday we ,really need to talk and I need to show you something please come to this address.”
I looked at the address and wrote it down. I had already reached halfway to the place when I remembered I left my phone at home,

“F-ck” I said frustratingly..

I got down and entered the building , it looked like no one has been there since years , cobwebs and rats and c*ckroaches are already having a party there.

“What would Collins want to show me here” I thought to myself

“Collins, Collins am here already, where are you” ….
